MaintainX
MaintainXUSA (Fully Remote)12 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteDirector
machine learningdeep learningragmlopsotarchitecture+6

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers , including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders. In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions , the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours. The Role: We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven AI leader to define and scale our AI strategy and organization . This leader will drive innovation across Agentic AI and Machine Learning solutions to ensure MaintainX becomes the category-defining intelligence layer for industrial operations. Work Intelligence: Conversational and Agentic AI solutions to empower frontline teams to digitize their operations, schedule and execute work, manage inventory and deliver insights. Asset Intelligence: Transforming raw machine and sensor data into actionable insights, predictive models, prescriptive recommendations and automated workflows to reduce downtime and labor costs. The vertical scope encompasses integration with OT/IT platforms/protocols, Machine Learning platform, full-stack product development and various sensor modalities such as tabular, vibration, and image data. GTM Intelligence: Accelerate MaintainX's and potentially Autodesk's business by building AI-powered agents, tools, and internal products that help our revenue, service, and operations teams move faster, close smarter and scale. The flagship platform is MaintainX's data intelligence layer (Atlas) — a unified, agentic system that connects our internal knowledge with external signals. Atlas empowers agentic or conversational solutions through the tools teams already use such as Salesforce and Claude. You'll shape how MaintainX and potentially Autodesk Operations Solutions leverages predictive, generative and agentic AI to unlock new enterprise value. You'll partner cross-functionally with not only Engineering, Product and Design, but also Marketing, Sales and Customer Support; while building and leading a world-class AI/ML team. What You'll Do: AI Strategy & Vision Define the long-term product and platform vision with progressive milestones and KPIs. Empower every MaintainX engineer to incorporate Agentic AI tools into their feature development flows. Translate emerging AI/ML research (GenAI, anomaly detection, RUL prediction, multimodal fusion) into production-ready solutions that deliver measurable customer value. Build and evangelize Autodesk and MaintainX's position as the AI leader in CMMS/EAM , differentiating through workflow-native intelligence. Execution & Delivery Lead the design and build of scalable Agentic AI platforms : Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) systems, evals and agentic orchestration frameworks. Build a data ingestion, processing and inference pipelines that can scale to millions of unstructured documents and videos . Drive delivery of predictive models across sensor modalities (tabular, vibration, IoT, multimodal), balancing time-to-market with reliability and scalability. Ensure models are explainable, trusted, and deeply embedded into MaintainX workflows — not siloed features. People Leadership & Organization Building Build and scale a high-performing AI organization spanning platform, machine learning and product teams . Hire and develop technical leaders; create a culture of innovation and accountability. Establish a feedback-driven and high performance culture, empowering teams to take calculated risks and learn from successes and failures. Cross-Functional Leadership Represent AI internally and externally as a thought leader — with executives, customers, and industry stakeholders. Partner with Product and Design to translate customer needs into AI-powered workflows. Collaborate with GTM teams to develop AI messaging, customer pilots, pricing strategies, and case studies. About You: 12+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with 7+ years leading teams in high-growth, data-driven technology companies. Proven success designing, building and deploying predictive deep learning models into production at scale (ranking & recommendation systems, anomaly detection, forecasting, multimodal). Track record of organizational leadership : building AI/ML teams, hiring senior technical leaders, and scaling organizations through growth. Deep expertise across one or more: multimodal ML (sensor, text, image, vibration), MLOps or Agentic AI frameworks. Adept at operating at multiple altitudes: from architecture design reviews to C-suite strategic planning . Comfortable working in fast-moving environments; you balance speed with reliability and long-term vision. Strong communication skills, able to influence across disciplines, present to executive leadership and inspire both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in ambiguity, biases for action, and balances long-term vision with near-term execution. Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build. Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk's benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com . For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it. Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging . More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.

Our sales teams help our customers get serious, reproducible, and secure value from data science using Posit's enterprise platform: Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager. We're looking for a driven, results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role you'll help identify and support expansion opportunities — directly driving new revenue through strategic upsell and cross-sell within our existing customer base. This is an ideal role for someone building a foundation in technology sales: you'll gain hands-on experience and develop key skills in a supportive environment, with direct alignment and coaching from our public sector sales leaders to accelerate your success. Your Impact This role exists to directly drive new expansion revenue within Posit's existing customer base. You are singularly responsible for: Partnering with Account Managers on existing accounts and converting expansion signals into generated pipeline, leading to upsell and cross-sell revenue. Driving transactional excellence — qualifying, advancing, and closing opportunities that generate immediate, measurable revenue aligned to customer goals. How You'll Collaborate You'll work closely with people and teams across Posit to move deals forward and set customers up for success: Partner with account managers, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless post-sale handoff, so expansions are implemented and adopted. Work directly with sales leaders, who provide alignment, supervision, and coaching to accelerate your ramp. Shadow and support senior reps on presentations and demos, taking on more responsibility as you progress. Feed insights back to product teams on sales blockers and customer demand for new features. What You'll Bring Prior experience in software sales - both sourcing and closing business - as an Inside Sales Representative or Account Executive/Manager. A strong interest in inside sales, customer relationship management, and enterprise data / data science software. A proven track record of qualifying interest and leading discovery efforts to bring solutions to customers' needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail. A proactive, coachable mindset with a strong work ethic, willingness to hustle, and a positive attitude. What You'll Learn With Us No one arrives knowing everything. Here's what you'll develop on the job: Fluency in Posit's product suite, the data science / AI market, and the competitive landscape. Hands-on CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) for logging interactions and managing pipeline hygiene. Executing Posit's sales motion - specifically mastering qualification and discovery phases of the sales cycle. Your First Year Within 1 month, you'll… Complete product and Inside Sales onboarding, and clearly articulate the value proposition of Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager. Shadow customer calls and demos with senior reps, documenting the key discovery questions and objections you observe. Set up your CRM workspace and accurately log all activity across your assigned account segment. Within 3 months, you'll… Independently manage a portion of the expansion pipeline, maintaining accurate CRM data and regular check-ins. Generate sales-qualified expansion opportunities (SQOs) across your aligned Account Manager's book of accounts and progress steadily against your ramp target. Run value-focused conversations that uncover immediate sales triggers with existing customer contacts. Within 6 months, you'll… Consistently hit your quota, running discovery and value conversations end-to-end with limited oversight. Develop a repeatable expansion playbook for your accounts. Deliver structured product and customer feedback to product teams on blockers and feature demand. Support presentations and demos with growing independence. Within 12 months, you'll… Be fully ramped and consistently achieving quota. Own and drive growth in your Account Managers' book of business, deepening relationships with key contacts. That's why our culture pairs high standards with genuine care. We don't glorify burnout or wear 'always on' as a badge of honor. Instead, we've created benefits designed to support you inside and outside of work, so you can bring your best self to both. Here's how we support you: Competitive base pay and performance bonus eligibility because you deserve to be rewarded for your impact. Equity participation for all full-time employees because we believe the people helping build Boulevard should share in our long-term success.
