This is the infrastructure seat on a small data platform team. You will own the AWS footprint, the deployment path, and the access model that lets a data pipeline read from production systems safely. We hold a high bar here — declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and tightly scoped production access — and you will be designing within that model from day one. Why this role, specifically Plenty of platform roles are about keeping existing infrastructure running. This one is about building the path that lets a new platform touch production data at all — in an environment with protected health information, multiple tenants, and systems clinicians rely on overnight. That constraint is the interesting part. "Give the pipeline database access" is easy anywhere without rules. Doing it with least-privilege credentials, a fully auditable deployment path, and no manual escape hatches is an actual engineering problem, and it is the one you would own. You will also be doing it at the start, when the decisions are still open — rather than inheriting someone's access model and being asked to defend it. What you will do Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform, defined as code Build and maintain the deployment path, using GitOps and continuous delivery Design least-privilege access to production data sources — credentials, network routes, and permissions that hold up to scrutiny Stand up observability for the platform so reliability is built in rather than added later Administer the Kubernetes workloads the platform runs on Partner with our security team, which matters here given protected health information and multiple tenants Automate the operational work rather than performing it by hand What you bring Depth in AWS is the core requirement for this role: Networking — VPC design, cross-region and cross-account data movement, private connectivity, VPN IAM — able to design least-privilege access, not only apply an existing policy Databases — RDS, Aurora, SQL Server, including read replicas Storage — S3, including access patterns and bucket policy Alongside that: Terraform or CDK to a production standard Kubernetes administration, and GitOps delivery with Argo CD or similar Ownership of CI/CD pipelines A preference for automation over manual intervention, including autoscaling and self-healing rather than hands-on fixes Nice to have Cloud data warehouse platform administration Database replication, particularly SQL Server Managed message infrastructure (RabbitMQ, Amazon MQ) Healthcare or another regulated, audited environment Why Join PerfectServe? ABOUT NASH Nash is last-mile delivery infrastructure. We help the world's largest retailers and commerce companies orchestrate, optimize, and manage their delivery operations. Founded in San Francisco in 2021, backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Y Combinator, Nash works with enterprise customers across North America, Europe, APAC, and the Middle East. Our platform sits at the center of complex delivery operations: connecting carriers, optimizing routes, managing fleets, and giving operators the visibility and control they need to run delivery at scale. We're not a marketplace. We're the infrastructure layer that makes the whole system work. Every enterprise customer presents a different operational reality. A grocery chain running same-day delivery from hundreds of stores has different constraints than a retailer consolidating three carrier networks into one. Nash doesn't sell a fixed product off a price sheet. We design and configure the system around how each customer actually operates, then deploy with dedicated engineering and product support. THE OPPORTUNITY Nash's ANZ business is anchored by some of the region's largest retail and grocery brands: multi-product, multi-year partnerships in which delivery is core infrastructure. This role owns a small number of those relationships in full. In International, customer success and solutions consulting are one seat. The person who designs the technical approach in a deal runs the launch that follows, then manages the account through adoption, performance, and renewal. You'll carry two to three enterprise accounts and the launches that come with them, from the sales cycle through go-live to the multi-year account work after it. This is one of two seats we're opening now in an established ANZ team, alongside two colleagues already in the role. The accounts are large, the operations are complex, and the customer expects the person across the table to know their delivery operation as well as they do. WHAT YOU'LL DO LEAD TECHNICAL DISCOVERY AND DESIGN Own the technical and operational depth in enterprise sales cycles for your accounts. Run discovery with the customer's engineering and operations teams, define the integration approach, configure the demonstrations and pilots that validate it, and resolve questions on architecture, data, and scale before they reach contract. The designs you produce become the launches you run, so they need to be correct at the point of proposal. RUN LAUNCHES FROM SIGNATURE TO STEADY STATE Own implementations for your accounts: requirements, configuration, integration, cutover, operator training, go-live, and the stabilization period that follows. Coordinate the customer's stakeholders and Nash's central engineering and specialist teams where a build requires them, and remain accountable for delivery performance until the operation runs without intervention. MANAGE THE BOOK Build durable relationships across your accounts, from the operators running stores and fleets to the executives funding the roadmap. Run the operating rhythm: business reviews, success plans, escalation paths. Track adoption, delivery performance, and platform health, and use them to identify what is underused, what is underperforming, and where the next workstream should be. This role carries no quota. Commercial expansion is owned by sales; this role owns the relationship, the adoption that justifies expansion, and the renewal. FEED THE ROADMAP Represent your customers inside Nash. Identify which gaps recur, which requests reflect one account's configuration versus a regional pattern, and what would change a customer's cost structure if Nash built it. Turn account knowledge into specific, prioritized product requests. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE First 6 months: Full ownership of your accounts, with operating rhythms running and stakeholder maps built At least one launch run from signature to steady state Your technical designs in the proposals for every active deal on your accounts Account health reporting that internal teams use First 12 months: Measurable adoption and delivery performance gains across your accounts Renewals delivered and expansions landed in partnership with sales Improvements to how ANZ runs accounts, adopted across the team WHO YOU ARE You have 5+ years in customer success, solutions consulting, implementation, or product roles in SaaS or logistics, and you've managed large, complex customer relationships with commercial outcomes attached: renewals, renegotiations, expansions, or major implementations delivered. You are technically capable of running the design half of this role. You can lead discovery with an engineering team, define an integration approach, write basic SQL, and troubleshoot a configuration issue before escalating it. You may have started as an engineer or product manager; either way, you're comfortable in the technical detail. You understand delivery operations. You know why completion rate, cost per order, and ETA accuracy move the way they do, and you can explain it to an executive in a sentence. You communicate quickly, clearly, and concisely, and you're as comfortable with an engineering team as with a C-suite. You handle ambiguity well. The team has an established way of running accounts, but the accounts are large, the product moves quickly, and you will regularly do things for the first time. This role is probably not right for: Customer success managers whose job has been renewals and quarterly reviews, with a separate technical team doing the design and implementation. Here that work is yours. HOW THIS ROLE WORKS You join Nash's ANZ team alongside two colleagues already in the role, the regional sales lead, and the regional sales team, with direct access to Nash's product and engineering teams. The role reports to the VP & GM, International. Nash is a startup. The team is lean. You'll have significant autonomy and direct access to Nash's founders, product leaders, and engineering team, and you'll be in product discussions regularly, shaping what Nash builds based on what you learn in your accounts. The role is based in Sydney, hybrid, with travel to customer sites across Australia and New Zealand. Scope grows with the book: more accounts, larger launches, and regional responsibility over time. Posted by NASH DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES AUSTRALIA PTY LTD ABN: 86 662 959 766 More about Nash Nash is the platform that powers modern logistics. Commerce has inverted. For decades, customers came to where products and services were. Now products and services come to them, on their terms, in real time. That shift has turned every company into a logistics company, even though almost none of them were built to be one. Couriers, fleets, gig workers, parcel carriers, in-store labor, and increasingly autonomous systems all have to be coordinated in real time, against tighter windows and rising expectations, with hard-fought customer trust on the line. Nash unifies decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable platform. Real-time, AI-native intelligence determines what should happen, operational control executes it, and the platform dynamically orchestrates capacity from any source: a company's own fleets, partners, or the Nash delivery network. Whether a job involves a courier, a gig driver, an internal fleet, a store employee, a technician, or an autonomous vehicle, Nash selects the right resource and manages execution through completion. We power delivery and logistics for some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, 7-Eleven, and Woolworths, alongside platforms like Shopify and Toast. Over the next decade, logistics will become as foundational to commerce as payments, cloud, and connectivity. Nash is the platform that powers it. Nash was founded in 2021 by Mahmoud Ghulman (2x Founder, MIT) and Aziz Alghunaim (2x Founder, 2x YC, Ex-Palantir, MIT) and is backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are headquartered in San Francisco. What You'll Love About Us ✅ Early-stage, well-funded startup – directly impact the company and grow your career! ✅ Quarterly broader team on-sites to bond with teammates ✅ Competitive compensation and opportunity for equity ✅ Flexible paid time off ✅ Health, dental, and vision insurance for US employees
ABOUT QUINCE Quince is a destination for builders, creators, innovators, and operators who want to come together and challenge the status quo. Our mission is simple: make really high quality essentials for really low prices, fairly and sustainably. We deliver on that mission through a unique manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) model eliminating the layers of traditional retail that add cost and result in consumers paying more than they need to. We find, build relationships with, and work directly with the manufacturing partners behind some of the world's finest products. From there, our teams design smart, efficient operational processes and build and deploy proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to help us scale fast. Today, tens of millions of people across a growing number of countries come – and return – to Quince because they trust us to deliver. OUR CULTURE Quince is a culture built for builders by builders. Our way of working starts with a blank sheet of paper. We question conventional thinking, use technology and data to uncover new opportunities, and move quickly to turn ideas into reality. We dream big and chase the hard problems others shy away from. Rejecting long-held assumptions is part of our company's DNA. Where conventional wisdom says you have to choose – soft or durable, speed or rigor, quality or price – we ask why that trade-off has to exist in the first place. Our pace is fast and the bar is high because our customers expect a lot from us and we refuse to let them down. We believe the best results come from challenging ourselves, learning from one another, and building on each other's strengths. Here, responsibility is not determined by role, tenure, or seniority. Every team member - no matter their level - has the opportunity to drive our business and shape our trajectory. If you're someone who likes to imagine new possibilities and build better systems rather than plug-in to outdated ones, Quince is the place for you. About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role Every dollar Anthropic earns and every dollar it spends on compute has to reach the books correctly, and the volume grows with Claude usage. That data comes from across the company and from partners: usage and billing, compute, infrastructure assets, leases. Products and pricing models keep launching, and each one adds another path into the books. Our goal is a continuous close with zero material issues, with audit-grade controls. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the engineers who build the platform that gets us there: one front door for every finance event, an append-only ledger, and an accounting engine that posts each event exactly once. You'll hire and grow the team, and hold the bar for how the platform is built and run in production. Its users include Claude agents, which read and write through the same APIs and controls as people. You'll partner with engineering teams in Billing, Compute and Infra on shared contracts and APIs, and with product owners and finance operations, who set the priorities and define the needs. You don't need a finance background. If you have led teams that build backend systems where correctness matters, we will teach you the domain. You'll build the platform that gets us there: one front door for every finance event, an append-only ledger, and an accounting engine that posts each event exactly once. This is a distributed systems problem with an unusually high correctness bar. The system has to be right to the cent, replay cleanly and explain any number as of any date, at that volume. You will shape its architecture. Its users include Claude agents, which read and write through the same APIs and controls as people. You'll work closely with SWEs in Billing, Compute and Infra on shared contracts and APIs, and with product owners, finance operations and internal audit to turn accounting and controls requirements into designs. You don't need a finance background. If you have built backend systems where correctness matters, we will teach you the domain. Responsibilities Design and build the front door into finance and its governed contracts: APIs for apps and agents, an event bus for systems that publish, adapters for vendor apps and reports, data-quality gates, and processing that posts every event exactly once, with replay and backfill Drive the build of the accounting ledger and engine: an append-only ledger with idempotent posting, a rules framework that turns business events into journal entries, translation into the ERP, and period locks Design and build the SDKs and frameworks that finance apps and agents build on Build controls into the platform as code: immutable audit trail, maker-checker, scoped access and segregation of duties Build and run the production services that other engineering teams call in real time, such as the tax and collections services in the billing flow, and own their reliability: uptime, latency, throughput and correctness targets agreed with those teams Shape the platform's technical direction: architecture, engineering standards and design reviews Minimum qualifications Strong backend engineering in a statically typed language such as Go, Java or Rust, or Python at scale Experience designing and running high-volume, event-driven systems (publish/subscribe, streaming) with idempotent processing, replay and backfill Experience designing relational data models and writing SQL for complex, versioned data Experience designing APIs, SDKs and service-to-service integrations used by other teams Experience building systems with auditability, access control or compliance requirements Experience turning requirements from non-engineering partners into technical designs Strong written and verbal communication, including design docs Preferred qualifications 10+ years of experience Experience building developer platforms or paved paths Experience with streaming systems such as Pub/Sub or Kafka Experience building with LLMs and agents, including MCP Built a ledger, sub-ledger, billing or payments system Familiarity with accounting concepts: double-entry, journal entries Familiarity with internal controls and audit concepts: audit trails, segregation of duties, change management Exposure to ERP or financial systems, such as Workday Financials The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. About the role We are hiring our first Sydney-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You'll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day-to-day. Additionally, you'll help us identify and close gaps in our team's technical knowledge, provide high-touch support to strategic customers, and demonstrate deep care for how we systematically support customers at scale. This includes being on critical "pager duty" during APAC hours to ensure 24/7 support for critical queries Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes, as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates Uplevel our team's technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products You may be a good fit if you Have experience in providing technical product support within a second-tier, escalated, or priority support team Are familiar with APIs and technical SaaS products and can deeply understand technical docs with ease Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g., CSAT, SLA, etc.) Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user's question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team. This is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work, and it is particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC/ANZ Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic's products Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team! Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time.
