Solutions Engineer - French Speaker
Full TimeOn-siteMid
datadogcompliancecompliancelmssalescustomer success

Synthesia is the world's leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. We're hiring Solutions Engineers to build Synthesia's presales function in France and Southern EMEA. This is a founding role: you'll be one of the first SEs, shaping the playbook, tooling and best practices as we scale, not following an established model. If you're someone who is excited by building whilst scaling, we'd love to hear from you. As a Solutions Engineer at Synthesia, you will partner with Account Executives, Customer Success and Product Marketing to run discovery, deliver demos, scope POCs and design the technical solution for each deal. You will be a trusted advisor focused on the value customers get from Synthesia, and you'll take what you learn in the field back to Product. This is an incredible opportunity to join us as we become a multi-product company for the first time, and continue to scale across France and Southern EMEA. Sales Cycle Ownership & AE Partnership Co-plan and support discovery calls with your AE to understand customer requirements, technical environment, and business challenges. Deliver demonstrations that speak to customer problems and tell a credible story of why Synthesia is the right solution. Identify technical objections and integration questions as they come up, working with your AE and the broader ecosystem to find a path forward. Contribute your assessment of technical fit and opportunity risk to help your AE shape account and deal strategy. Keep your deal team and manager informed on deal status, timeline, and technical dependencies. Demo Excellence Design and execute repeatable demo methodologies that prove Synthesia's business value quickly, whether the customer is deploying Studio at scale, building Roleplay Sessions for skill uplift, or integrating Interactive Avatars into their product. Identify, build relationships with, and actively enable technical champions within customer organizations so they can advocate for Synthesia internally. Develop and maintain reusable assets across demo environments, use cases, integration templates, objection handling, and industry playbooks, brought to life directly in Synthesia's platform. Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, API and SDK integrations, security, compliance topics (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise identity), and scalability for global deployments, troubleshooting issues and validating integrations with LMS, HCM, and content systems as they surface. Product Expertise Build and maintain strong working knowledge of Synthesia's platform capabilities, roadmap, and positioning across all product lines, so you can speak to the use cases that drive value. Partner with Enablement to complete certifications, stay current on new releases, and keep your demo and objection-handling skills sharp. Stay ahead of the AI-native learning and enablement space, so you can credibly discuss how customers are shifting from static methods to interactive practice and measurable skill development. Ecosystem Collaboration Product: share customer and prospect feedback with Product, flagging pain points, missing capabilities, and gaps that surface in your deals to help shape the roadmap. Product Marketing: work with Product Marketing to understand and apply messaging and positioning in your deal cycles, and contribute to reusable assets like demo scripts and competitive battlecards. Customer Success: brief Customer Success on technical context and champion relationships at handover, so your POCs and pilots convert cleanly into production deployments. What We're Looking For 2+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical experience in a SaaS environment (or equivalent technical customer-facing experience). Delivers a strong standard demo aligned to the discovery points and agenda set with the AE, with a solid grasp of core demo technique (e.g., Tell-Show-Tell). Applies established solution designs and best practices to the customer's use case, working with core ecosystem functions (Product, Customer Success) as the deal requires. Identifies and surfaces deal risk and next steps based on what the customer tells you, escalating clearly to your AE so it gets actioned. Working knowledge of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message, and can articulate why Synthesia is a fit for the prospect. Resourceful: knows how to find the right person or tool internally, and is building their own network across the GTM organization. Comfortable with the technical fundamentals in at least one area (creation flows, APIs, integrations, security, compliance) and eager to build depth quickly. Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a growing book of POCs, demos, and customer conversations while hitting deadlines. Willing to travel for customer discovery and on-site demos as needed. We'd be particularly excited if You speak Spanish and Italian Location We're ideally looking for someone based in Paris who can spend time in our office at 40 Rue du Colisée, 75008 Paris, or someone based in the UK who can spend time in our London office at 20 Triton Street, Regent's Place, London NW1 3BF. About Team & About Role Rubrik's German Enterprise team protects the data of the country's leading companies against ransomware, insider threats and operational disruption, and there's never been a better time to be part of it. Cyber resilience has moved to the top of every CISO and board agenda, and Rubrik is leading that conversation. As a Major Account Executive, you'll own a small portfolio of Rubrik Germany's most strategic accounts: DAX-listed groups and global industry leaders. Some are already customers, many are not yet. This is a hunting role at the very top of the market, with the deal sizes, visibility and earning potential that come with it. What You'll Do Win new business across your accounts, from net-new logos to new divisions, subsidiaries and use cases within existing customers. Generate your own pipeline through executive outreach, account mapping and multi-threading across buying committees of 20+ stakeholders. Lead complex, long-cycle deals from first conversation to signature, using MEDDPICC to qualify rigorously and forecast accurately. Make cyber resilience a C-suite priority by connecting Rubrik's platform to NIS2, DORA and the real cost of downtime. Co-sell with leading partners, global system integrators and hyperscalers to open doors and speed up decisions. Work hand in hand with your dedicated Solutions Engineer, and help shape the Majors playbook as the team grows. Experience You'll Need Extensive enterprise technology sales experience, ideally in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection or enterprise SaaS. A proven track record of winning new business in DAX-listed or comparable multinational enterprises. This role is about creating new business, not just managing or renewing existing relationships. Evidence that you source your own pipeline: you can show what share of your closed business you generated yourself. Experience negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder deals at C-level (CISO, CIO, CFO). Fluent or native German and professional English. Preferred Qualifications MEDDPICC or a similar structured sales methodology. Established relationships in the German partner ecosystem. Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, automotive, manufacturing or critical infrastructure. Familiarity with backup, data security or cyber resilience solutions. #LI-CH2 #LI-remote Join Us in Securing and Accelerating the World's AI Transformation Rubrik (RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, leads at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI acceleration. Expand and retain assigned customers by identifying new workloads, capacity, use cases, and business units, and hand off cleanly to post-sale teams. Use MEDDPICC or a comparable method, and keep accurate pipeline, forecasts, activity, and next steps in Salesforce. Collaborate with Field Architects, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and partners to deliver a strong customer experience. Share what you learn in the field to help sharpen MinIO's commercial playbook as we evolve toward a hybrid product-led and sales-driven motion.
