Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE TEAM Anduril's global communications team is responsible for shaping how the world understands modern defense technology—and why it matters. We're seeking a Director of Communications, Europe, to build and lead Anduril's external communications presence across the continent. This is a senior individual contributor role based in Amsterdam, reporting to the VP of Global Communications, with a dotted line to Anduril's European General Manager. You will be Anduril's first dedicated communications hire in Europe, responsible for standing up a regional program from scratch, building relationships with media and institutions, and developing the narratives that will define Anduril's reputation across the world's most consequential defense markets. This is a builder role. You'll set strategy and execute it yourself, establish agency and contractor networks as the business grows, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with business development, policy, and senior leadership to earn Anduril a place in Europe's defense conversation. The ideal candidate has deep roots across multiple European markets, understands how defense, technology, and industrial policy intersect at the national level, and knows how to build presence and credibility in environments where trust is earned slowly and reputation matters enormously. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build Anduril's European communications program from the ground up, developing strategy, establishing infrastructure, and executing across markets with varying levels of maturity and priority. Drive media relations across defense, technology, business, and policy outlets in priority European markets, building the relationships and pipelines that will sustain long-term coverage. Develop and execute market-specific narrative strategies that connect Anduril's mission and capabilities to each country's defense priorities, industrial ambitions, and security context. Work closely with Anduril's European General Manager and business development teams to support market entry, customer engagement, partnerships, and key events. Build and manage a network of regional agencies and contractors as European operations expand. Partner with global communications, policy, and marketing teams to adapt core messaging for European audiences without losing coherence or accuracy. Engage think tanks, research institutions, and policy communities to build credibility and shape the broader discourse around defense innovation and allied cooperation. Own metrics and reporting frameworks to track progress and demonstrate impact across markets. QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or media relations. Fluency in the European defense and political landscape across multiple countries, how decisions get made, who shapes opinion, and where the conversation is heading. A track record of building communications programs in new markets, not just inheriting them. Experience managing agencies, contractors, and regional communications networks across borders. Exceptional writing and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop narratives that land across cultures and audiences. Comfortable working autonomously in an early-stage market environment, with the judgment to make calls without a lot of process around you. You'll excel in this role if you: Have built something before, a market presence, a regional program, a communications function, and know what that actually requires. Can hold complexity: different countries, different threat perceptions, different industrial interests, all requiring distinct approaches under a coherent strategy. Know Europe's defense ecosystem personally, the journalists, the institutions, the officials who shape how these conversations evolve. Are energized by the moment Europe is in, and want to help shape how one of the most important defense technology companies in the world shows up in it. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. Rivia führt klinische Studiendaten in großem Maßstab zusammen. About Kernel Agents are starting to sell, buy and operate on behalf of companies. But before an agent can close a deal, qualify an account, route a lead or assess risk, it has to answer a basic question: which company is this? Today, that answer is messy, and no one answers it reliably. Business identity lives across CRMs, ERPs and third-party datasets full of duplicates, missing parent companies, stale addresses and incorrect enrichment. The cost shows up across the enterprise: sales teams miss revenue opportunities because they lack the right account context; operations teams take on avoidable exposure because risk signals are fragmented or wrong; and finance teams end up chasing, writing off, or defaulting on bad debt that should have been caught earlier. Humans have worked around that mess for years. Agents cannot. They need a reliable business identity layer they can trust. Kernel is building that layer: the business registry for agents. We issue a permanent KERN ID for every business, plus the context an agent needs to act on it. Ops, data and revenue teams at Gong, Legora, Mistral, Canva and Checkout already use Kernel on their own systems. Agents are next, and there will be far more of them. We have raised $14M from top VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack and others, and we are growing 5x YoY. The Role We have strong product market fit. In 2025 we grew ~5x with world class net dollar retention, mostly from founder-led sales, and now have AEs hitting quota with an emerging playbook. We're looking for another BDR Manager to accelerate our outbound engine as we scale in 2026. You'll own a team of ~10 BDRs and be responsible for the pipeline that fuels our growth. You will report to Dave Bentham (Head of Sales) and work closely with our AEs, marketing, and leadership team to make sure the top of funnel is consistently feeding high-quality pipeline. What You'll Be Doing Set the strategy Work with Dave and the rest of leadership to define ICP, targeting, and outbound messaging. Translate company targets into clear, measurable BDR goals and ensure pipeline expectations are distributed strategically across the team. Continuously iterate on outbound plays, channels, and sequences to improve conversion at every stage. Develop the BDR team to be a talent pool for the rest of the organisation through a culture of constant learning Set your team Manage and develop a team of ~10 BDRs across inbound and outbound. Work alongside our recruiters to grow the team as we scale. Be accountable for team performance. Coach underperformers, promote top performers, and set a high bar across the board. Our BDR team is the talent engine for the entire GTM team. Nurturing the best people and helping them be ready for the next role is crucial. Set the operating cadence Define qualification criteria and handoff processes that set AEs up to close. Build repeatable outbound plays that convert, and partner with marketing where needed. Establish pipeline generation rigor: activity metrics, and predictable output. Run weekly team reviews, call coaching sessions, and continuous improvement loops. What You Bring: 4+ years in business development and/or outbound sales, with at least some time managing a BDR or SDR team. Experience scaling a BDR team (e.g. growing from a handful of reps to 10+) or managing a team of that size. Strong instincts for messaging, targeting, and what makes outbound actually work. About us Rentman is a B2B SaaS scale-up building a smart, powerful operations management platform to support event and media production teams. Our users plan everything from small shoots to massive festivals in 70+ countries, and they all rely on Rentman to keep their gear, people, and timing perfectly in sync. We're based in Utrecht (NL) with a second office in Toronto (CA), and our 100+ team members work in a culture that's open, flat, and inclusive, where curiosity drives us, ownership matters, and everyone has the freedom to challenge ideas and make an impact. Check out our public roadmap to see what's coming next! Mission of this role The Netherlands is Rentman's biggest customer base, and DACH is our second-biggest. As a Rentman AV Industry Expert (German-speaking) on our Professional Services team, you make sure our German-speaking customers get the same excellent, hands-on support as everyone else. You are the solution expert who helps customers realize the full value of Rentman. You deliver paid trainings to existing customers that accelerate onboarding, boost account health, and broaden usage across teams. Everything comes from our standardized service catalogue: the offering is standard, the application is tailored to each customer. These services come on top of what every Rentman customer already gets free of charge: support, the support center, and for some a dedicated CSM. When you're not delivering customer trainings, you help the wider team stay useful year-round: you build standardized video trainings based on the most common questions coming out of our support center, and you're available to represent Rentman at customer events or trade shows in German-speaking markets. What you'll do Integrate Rentman knowledge with customer-centricity and commercial acumen to provide tailored training, in both German and English, that enhances customer usage, satisfaction, and professional services revenue. Deliver at least 60% of your time as direct, standardized-but-tailored training to customers, one-on-one or in groups. When you're not training customers, build standardized video trainings/webinars addressing the most common issues raised through our support center. Represent Rentman at customer-facing events or trade shows in German-speaking markets when needed. Always look for opportunities to expand and optimize our professional services and serve more customers in a standardized way. Maintain top-level knowledge of Rentman's functionality and industry challenges to advise customers effectively, and keep this knowledge current. Excel in administration and process efficiency to ensure internal processes (availability, booking, invoicing) run smoothly, and the customer journey is frictionless. Adopt a customer-friendly attitude and deliver high-quality training to ensure an optimal customer experience. What we are looking for Native or very fluent in German, and fluent in English. You're equally comfortable running a training in either language. You've worked inside the AV, production company, or event rental industry and know its workflows from the inside. This is what lets you speak credibly to customers about how they run their business, not just how the software works. You're curious about how customers actually get their work done and where the tool could serve them better. You take ownership of your pipeline and your numbers. You communicate clearly, both with customers and internally. You keep your training administration, scheduling, and invoicing organized so the customer journey stays frictionless. You can join us in the Utrecht office as this is a hybrid role. Nice to haves Experience training or onboarding customers on a SaaS platform. Familiarity with Rentman or similar equipment rental or event management software. Exposure to more than one segment, such as dry hire, staging, broadcast, or corporate AV. An existing network in the German/DACH AV and event industry. What you'll get Competitive salary based on experience, plus 8% holiday allowance A results-based bonus based on company performance (up to a full 13th month's salary) 25 vacation days to recharge Earn an extra day of PTO for each year at Rentman, from your second anniversary up to five years. A 4-week paid sabbatical after 5 years to go on an adventure Flexible WFH policy & work from anywhere for 4 weeks a year Pension plan through BrightPensioen An annual training budget to grow your skills Access to OpenUp for mental well-being and personal growth Your choice of a shiny new Windows, Linux, or Mac Stay active with the team: join the Rentman football team, squash and padel, plus a discounted Urban Sports membership An OV Business card if you live more than 10km from the office An ambitious, inclusive, and diverse international team A flexible, energizing workplace with free lunches, office perks (PS5, ping pong, D&D), legendary karaoke nights, and regular team activities An amazing office in the heart of Utrecht, in the historic Drift 17 Our process Here's a breakdown of our recruitment process to give you a clear idea: Introduction Call with the recruiter about the job & Rentman, online (30-45 mins) Past Experience & Culture Interview with the team, online or on-site (60 mins) A take-home assignment (max 120 mins) Final Skills Interview, on-site (60 mins) Apply now!
