Our Global Structure Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we're unlocking new possibilities as one global team. Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat. DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt now operate as one global company. Behind the AI experiences millions of people use every day, from shopping assistants to customer support agents, sits one shared Generative AI platform. Our team builds it. We're looking for a Staff Product Manager in London to own major parts of that platform. Your customers are the engineers and ML researchers across all three brands who build AI products and agents. You'll work with engineering and product leaders in Europe and the US, and your decisions will shape how AI gets built across every market we operate in. What You'll Be Doing Set the strategy and roadmap for core parts of our GenAI platform: model access and routing, agent infrastructure, and evaluation and observability. Build one platform for three brands. Spot the patterns across Deliveroo, Wolt and DoorDash teams and turn them into shared building blocks, so a capability built once reaches every market. Shape our model portfolio across frontier and open-weight models. Decide where we build, buy or partner in an ecosystem that changes month to month. Make agents production-ready. Give teams safe access to company knowledge, tools and systems, with the quality, latency and cost controls needed to run agents at scale. Own the evaluation strategy so teams can prove quality before launch and keep improving it after. Stay close to your customers. Work with the teams shipping AI experiences, measure adoption and time-to-production, and let real production use drive the roadmap. Lead at a senior level, presenting to senior technical leadership and influence strategy beyond your own roadmap. What You'll Need to Thrive Our ideal candidate brings deep expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others: Significant product management experience (typically 8+ years, or equivalent), including owning a technical platform, developer product, or ML or data infrastructure. Hands-on experience with LLM-based products or platforms in production, such as assistants, agents, evaluation or inference. GenAI platforms are a young field, so we care more about depth than years. A platform mindset. You notice the problem five teams keep solving and turn it into one capability everyone can use. The ability to go deep with engineers and ML researchers, then explain the trade-off in plain language to a senior leader. A track record of leading large, ambiguous areas on your own and aligning stakeholders across companies, countries and time zones. Comfort with regular overlap with US time zones, including some late-afternoon and evening calls. What Success Looks Like A team in any of our three brands can go from idea to a reliable AI product dramatically faster. That happens because the hard parts (models, inference, evaluation, tooling, observability, governance and agent infrastructure) are solved once at the platform layer and get better for everyone. Why Join Us? Real scale from day one. Your platform powers AI used by millions of consumers, merchants and couriers across three brands. Frontier work, real constraints. You'll work with the latest models and agent patterns, then make them reliable, affordable and compliant in production. Visible impact. Platform decisions here get reviewed by senior leadership and adopted across the company. We're food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to: 🔧 Solve meaningful problems at real scale Work on a complex, always-on marketplace that impacts millions every day. 🌱 See your impact, fast Ship, test and improve ideas quickly in a low-hierarchy, high-ownership environment. 🧠 Grow through challenge and ownership Take on big, ambiguous problems and accelerate your career with strong support. 🌎 A culture built for builders High standards, collaboration, flexible working and continuous learning. 💰 Share in the success you help create Competitive salary and equity options, so you're rewarded for the impact you make. ➡️ Want a deeper look at how we build? About Parloa Parloa's mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloans are shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience, one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges. It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com, HealthEquity, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer, and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale. About the role: As Manager, Agent Architecture , you will build and lead the team that transforms customer service with AI Agents, while staying in the build yourself. You run a team of Agent Architects: you hire them, coach them, set their goals, and own the quality of every AI Agent they ship, with a significant portion of your capacity on live customer engagements. This is your opportunity to lead at the front line of enterprise AI, where your credibility comes from doing the work alongside your team, not just directing it. Areas of ownership: Team Leadership: Own hiring for Agent Architect roles, run weekly 1:1s, performance reviews, and career conversations, and build development plans that help each person grow. Set ramp expectations for new hires and coach Associate and mid-level Agent Architects on prompt engineering, conversation design, and customer-facing judgment. Capacity and Stakeholder Alignment: Set team goals and OKRs aligned with Professional Services priorities, manage capacity and workload across concurrent engagements, and surface resourcing tradeoffs early. Represent the Agent Architecture team to Sales, Product, Engineering, customers, and partners. Hands-on Agent Delivery: Personally guide customers through AI Agent implementations, from strategic advice to scoping to end-to-end delivery. Serve as the escalation point when agent performance degrades. Quality and Best Practices: Define what good looks like for agent quality, enforce it through review, and make it repeatable across every live project. Document best practices for internal and external audiences, and turn recurring field problems into structured feedback for Product. Who you are: Experience leading people, whether as a formal manager, team lead, or through sustained mentorship where you owned a group's growth and output. First-time managers with a strong coaching track record are welcome. 3+ years of conversation design and AI agent development experience, with a track record of building scalable solution architecture and conversational experiences grounded in real user needs. Skilled in advanced prompt engineering, comfortable integrating REST APIs and working with Javascript. Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with significant experience working with enterprise customers, including in escalated or high-pressure situations. Sound judgment on capacity and prioritization: you can say what your team can and cannot absorb, and back it up with reasoning. Our recruiting process: Talent Acquisition → Hiring Manager → Technical Interview(s) → Bar Raiser Why Parloa? We're at the beginning of a new era in customer experience, one where AI doesn't just respond, but understands, reasons, and takes action. We're building agentic AI that enterprises trust with their most important customer moments: complex questions, high volumes, real stakes. When millions of people reach out to a brand, those interactions aren't just support tickets; they're defining experiences. We're here to raise the standard: making every conversation seamless, intelligent, and genuinely helpful. If you care about shaping how businesses and customers connect at scale and want your work to matter in real, everyday moments, this is where you do it. At Parloa, ownership isn't a buzzword; it means being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks. We operate in a category that's evolving fast, where the bar is high, and the problems are complex. We hire people who think in solutions, communicate with clarity, and follow through. People who are comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and raising the standard for themselves and those around them. We've grown beyond the earliest startup phase, but we've kept the intensity: fast execution, direct feedback, and a strong expectation to contribute meaningfully from day one. Backed by leading global investors like General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, we're scaling with a clear ambition: to become the global category leader in enterprise-grade conversational AI. AI Engineer London, 4x days per week in-office Vega is looking for AI-native builders to create the new way that work gets done in private markets. About Vega Vega is transforming the way private markets operate. Alternative asset management is one of the most influential forces in the global economy, with over $20TN in assets today. Over the next five years, the industry is set to grow 3x, but GPs are facing challenges around their ability to handle the investment flows that are coming in. GPs have been completely underserved by innovation, particularly on the investor relations side. Vega built the industry's first AI-native operating system, where all client work gets done - from the start of an investor's journey to its end. We are rethinking how work gets done in private markets from first principles: the opportunity is big, but it's also niche, high-stakes, and difficult to get right. Who we are We are still at the beginning of our journey. Vega was founded by former investors at Elliott and KKR, and built by talent from the world's leading technology and financial services firms - including Trade Republic, Revolut, Goldman Sachs, BCG, and more. We have raised $30M so far, with the backing of Apollo, Motive Partners, and 60+ senior executives from the industry. Today, we have over $300B AUM and 30,000 users on the platform, and we have much more left to do. How we do it Vega is a fast-growing startup. We want to make this a career-accelerating place for people with the ambition to build something big. If the below sounds appealing, it could be for you: We do not seek consensus. You will be expected to voice opinions and take initiative. Vega's best people do not wait to be told what to do before finding solutions to problems they have spotted. We believe bureaucracy is the killer of progress. We are focused on creating the minimum viable process to operate with quality at speed. We prioritise talent over tenure. There is no promise of progression without performance – we assess and reward people on impact above all else. We iterate fast. We make decisions amid ambiguity and with imperfect information, and we strive to balance committing to a hypothesis with iterating at low ego. We play to win. Expectations, intensity and ambition are very high, with every single colleague contributing to Vega's success. This often will not be a 9-5. We know that this culture won't be for everyone, and we endeavour to make this clear from the beginning of the recruiting process out of respect for your time. Ask yourself whether the above sounds exciting to you in practice every day, and if it does, we would love to hear from you. Who succeeds in this role We look for people who match our ambition levels, and then raise it further. In this role, you will: Work directly with business and engineering teams to take ideas from research to production. You will need to have the ability and the ambition to understand business needs and client requirements to deliver at the highest level. Build AI-powered features across AltOS, including agents, document intelligence, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval systems. Own problems end-to-end, from scoping and architecture through to shipping and iteration while keeping up to date with developments in AI. Examples of previous AI projects are a plus. Help define how AI is applied across Vega's products and internal workflows. What we look for: Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills. AI & LLM: AWS Bedrock, Anthropic SDK, Claude Agent SDK, MCP, Bedrock Knowledge Bases, pgvector, Amazon S3 Vectors, Multi-agent orchestration, SSE streaming, promptfoo, Claude Vision, ontology, AI guardrail Back-end: Java 21, Node.js + TypeScript (Hono), REST + OpenAPI contract-first codegen, Kafka (MSK) + Avro, Postgres/jOOQ/Flyway + Kysely, JUnit/TestContainers/Mockito + Cucumber & REST Assured, AWS (EKS, RDS/Aurora, Cognito, S3, KMS), Docker, Kubernetes Front-end: TypeScript, React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, TanStack, Vitest & Playwright Cloud & Infra: AWS (Bedrock, S3, KMS, SQS, CloudFront, Cognito, RDS), Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Docker Why join us? EggAI · Full-time · Remote (EU only) The Role You will lead a small, highly-skilled remote team of engineers designing and shipping production-grade agentic AI systems. Working directly with enterprise clients, you will validate where AI can create value, redesign business processes, and own the resulting system from early experiments through adoption and measurable results. Across these environments, you will learn from recurring production failure modes and have the latitude to choose the models, tools, and architecture to solve the business problem. Alongside client delivery, you will turn successful approaches into shared assets that strengthen future engagements. Those contributions will shape EggAI's engineering culture and give you broad influence over how we work. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will write production code, set technical direction, develop engineers through example, review, feedback, and coaching, and guide senior client stakeholders through difficult decisions. This is a remote position. We only accept candidates located in the EU. What You'll Own Act as a trusted technical counterpart to client teams throughout the engagement, helping them make sound decisions and create lasting capability as you: Discover: Validate business opportunities against AI capabilities and constraints, and identify new opportunities enabled by the technology. Design: Own solution design and system architecture across agents, tools, data, evaluations, controls, human oversight, and deterministic boundaries. Build: Personally implement the system's critical agents, integrations, evaluation infrastructure, permissions, observability, controls, and feedback loops. Deliver: Lead the team and client from implementation through adoption, owning engineering quality and production readiness while establishing a clear delivery rhythm and engineering accountability across the project team. Compound: Package successful work as tools, datasets, evaluations, patterns, and engineering methods. What We're Looking For A sustained record of exceptional technical leadership that generated real business impact, including experience leading small engineering teams. Experience designing, shipping, and operating production-grade AI systems, with practical judgment across architecture, context, tools, evaluation, observability, production controls, reliability, and cost. A demonstrated ability to keep pace with advances in AI, test what matters, and change working methods when new capabilities prove substantive, evidenced by advanced use of agentic AI in day-to-day work. Repeated ownership of difficult stakeholder environments and the judgment to connect technical decisions to business value, user needs, risk, and organizational change. Excellent communication skills across engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Strong coding skills and the ability to write and review production-grade code in languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar. A strong engineering foundation and the first-principles judgment to understand what established practices protect and how those protections should be implemented in AI-native systems. Strong statistical and experimental judgment, including the ability to create the instrumentation, annotation, review, and feedback loops needed to learn from uncertain AI behaviour and improve systems over time. Additional strengths Experience operating AI systems in security-sensitive or regulated environments. Experience creating AI tooling, evaluation infrastructure, data assets, or engineering platforms that serve multiple projects. A track record of hiring, onboarding, and developing engineering talent. Meaningful open-source work, public technical contributions, or active participation in the AI-engineering community Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow

To achieve this, we need talented people like you to join our journey. If you're ready to shape the future of AI and grow your career in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment, DeepL is your next destination. What sets us apart What sets us apart is our blend of cutting-edge AI technology, meaningful work, and a culture where people truly thrive. We're a team of innovators, researchers, and creators driven by a shared purpose to unlock human potential by making work simpler, smarter, and more connected. What we know for sure is this: being part of DeepL means joining a team dedicated to innovation, growth, and well-being. Discover more about life at DeepL on LinkedIn , Instagram , and our Blog . Meet the team behind this journey You will lead the Production Inference team — the group responsible for the systems that serve DeepL's language AI models reliably and efficiently at scale. We sit at the intersection of research-grade technical ambition and production-grade operational discipline: our work determines whether DeepL's models reach users with the latency, reliability, and cost profile that makes commercial deployment viable. The team owns the full model serving stack — from GPU-resident inference runtimes and deployment infrastructure through to the developer platform that enables every other research team to bring their models to production. We operate within the Research organisation, with close ties to DeepL's infrastructure and platform functions, and our architectural decisions affect every product DeepL ships. The broader Research organisation publishes regularly at ACL, NeurIPS, and EMNLP, and the Production Inference team brings that same culture of rigour and innovation to the systems layer of AI. Your responsibilities As Engineering Manager for the Production Inference team, you will own both people leadership and technical direction for a team of research scientists and ML engineers working on performance-critical model serving systems. While this is not a hands-on coding role, you will be deeply involved in technical reviews, architecture decisions, and research direction for the inference stack. You will: Lead and develop a high-performing team of research scientists and ML engineers, building strong development plans, fostering a candid and non-retaliatory feedback culture, and maintaining high standards of technical rigour and delivery. Own the team's research and development roadmap for production inference systems, in close collaboration with senior ICs and cross-functional stakeholders, balancing near-term reliability commitments with longer-horizon research bets on inference efficiency and architecture. Act as the primary technical interface between the Production Inference team and adjacent functions — including foundational models research, voice research, applied research, infrastructure, and product — ensuring research output is well-scoped, well-communicated, and delivered without creating downstream bottlenecks. Drive the reliability, efficiency, and cost performance of DeepL's model serving stack, including strategic decisions around serving infrastructure evolution (load balancing, autoscaling, runtime selection, and hardware utilisation). Operate with a high degree of autonomy, defining the team's direction and pushing for results in an environment where requirements from product or commercial stakeholders can be ambiguous or evolving. Play an active role in identifying, assessing, and recruiting research and engineering talent as the team continues to develop. Qualities we look for You have proven experience leading a team of researchers or ML engineers, with a track record of developing talent, maintaining delivery rigour, and holding the balance between research quality and production reliability. You have a strong background Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable quantitative discipline, or possess a strong ML/systems background with equivalent research depth. You have a strong foundation in production ML systems, inference optimisation, or model serving at scale — direct experience with LLM inference, speculative decoding, quantisation, or serving infrastructure is a meaningful differentiator. You are comfortable operating across the full model lifecycle — from training handoff through to production deployment, monitoring, and efficiency improvement — and understand infrastructure and compute constraints without needing to own them directly. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical direction into clear goals for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are solution-oriented and decisive, able to define direction and drive outcomes without waiting for direction from above.
