Care Account Manager (Clinical), Europe & West Africa
Part TimeFully RemoteMid
clinicalmental healthpsychotherapycase managementpartnerships

The Role Intellect delivers a clinically governed mental health programme to enterprise clients in the mining and resources sector, supporting remote and expatriate workforces. This is not a standard EAP. Cases begin with acute risk assessment on remote sites and run through structured treatment, fitness-for-work assessment and return-to-work clearance, in direct coordination with the client's chaplaincy, medical and people teams. This role covers the client's United Kingdom operations and a West African project site where the working language is French. It is a combined clinical delivery and case management role: the postholder conducts the assessments, delivers the therapy, writes the reports and owns the case, rather than coordinating a provider network. That design reflects the absence of an established provider network in the West African market at launch, and gives the client a single clinician who knows each case end to end. Full professional fluency in French and English is a non-negotiable requirement. Welfare calls, clinical assessment, case documentation and client communication in the West African market are conducted in French. Responsibilities Clinical assessment and delivery Conduct acute risk and welfare assessments for employees referred through the client's escalation pathway, in French or English as required. Deliver individual counselling and psychotherapy across the supported caseload, virtually. Conduct fitness-for-work assessments and produce the associated clinical documentation. Write risk assessments, session documentation, return-to-work memoranda and fitness-for-work reports to a standard that stands up to client and regulatory scrutiny, in the language the case requires. Delivery is capped so that case management availability is protected. Session load is agreed with the Head of Clinical Operations and reviewed as volume changes. Case management and coordination Own each case end to end, from referral through assessment, treatment, fitness-for-work and reintegration to closure. Align the initial support plan with the client's on-site teams, including session volume and cadence, and manage adjustments where clinically indicated. Coordinate with internal helpline, care excellence and network partnership teams on anything that cannot be delivered directly. Review the open case list for stalled items and follow up to keep cases moving. Clinical risk oversight and governance Confirm risk tiering against the client's framework and set review cadence and monitoring requirements. Make the clinical decisions the pathway requires, including disputed risk ratings and medical evaluation pathways where an employee declines therapy. Escalate to the Head of Clinical Operations where a case exceeds the scope of remote delivery or requires in-person intervention. Work within the differing regulatory, medical and emergency-escalation environments of each market, and flag where local pathways do not support the agreed protocol. Clinical protocols and client enablement Co-develop and maintain the clinical protocols, risk frameworks and SOPs the client's on-site teams operate to, including French-language versions. Design and deliver clinical training and framework guidance to client-side staff who are not clinicians, in French and English. Build out the in-market provider network alongside Network Partnerships, so that in-person and overflow capacity exists as the programme scales. Client relationship, insights and reporting Act as the named clinical contact for the client's chaplaincy, medical and health and safety leads in both markets, responding within the core window to queries that are frequently unscheduled and time-critical. Produce the case tracker and monthly clinical reporting, moving beyond utilisation to presenting issues, risk patterns, outcomes and service-level themes. Present clinical insight at client review meetings and translate it into recommendations the client's health and safety and people teams can act on. Requirements Full professional fluency in French and English, to the standard required for clinical assessment, therapy delivery and client-facing documentation in both languages. Registered clinical psychologist or qualified counsellor, with current registration in your jurisdiction and the right to practise remotely. Master's degree in clinical psychology, counselling or a related field. Minimum three years in clinical practice, including direct delivery of assessment and therapy to adults. Demonstrable experience managing acute risk, including suicidality, in a setting where you held the decision rather than advised on it. Experience of structured return-to-work, fitness-for-work or occupational mental health pathways. Able to work four hours a day, Monday to Friday, within the 08:00 to 17:00 UK and West Africa window. Desirable Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or with expatriate, rotational or multinational workforces. Understanding of remote industrial, mining, resources or energy operating environments. Additional language capability, particularly Mandarin. Experience contributing to clinical protocols, risk frameworks or SOPs. Prior case management or clinical account experience in a commercial setting. OUR MISSION We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond. Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person's cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers. As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help our care team focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer. Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you're inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what's possible, we'd love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters. WHAT YOU'LL DO We're hiring a Principal Product Manager to set the product direction for new, zero-to-one initiatives focused on applying AI to make better care decisions in oncology — helping people receive the right, evidence-based treatment at the moment it matters. Working closely with senior clinical, operations, engineering, and business leaders, you will shape the strategy, identify the highest-value opportunities, and lead the most complex and consequential product work needed to build a solution with the potential to become a category-defining platform. This is a hands-on, zero-to-one role for a product leader who can operate at both the strategic and implementation levels — moving fluidly between learning from users, defining product direction, partnering with engineering and other stakeholders to shape solutions , and driving execution to launch. You will establish the product foundation across workflow tooling, data integrations, and AI systems, while creating patterns that can scale across future products and initiatives. Much of this work sits at the intersection of applied AI, clinical guidelines, and operational workflows in a regulated setting where fidelity, auditability, and trust are non-negotiable. This is an individual contributor role today, with the opportunity to build and lead a product team over time as this business line grows. Additionally, you will: Drive the roadmap for a zero-to-one AI initiative to improve care decisions in oncology Prototype, test, and ship AI powered products with engineering and other teams cross functionally Build the workflow tooling and decision support surfaces clinicians and care teams need to act on AI recommendations Own the evaluations, guardrails, and observability standards to ensure recommendations are accurate, safe, and trusted across, auditable, and defensible to clinical, provider, and health-plan stakeholders Partner with engineering to shape the technical architecture around AI systems, data models, and integrations Communicate tradeoffs and profess clearly to senior clinical, engineering, and business stakeholders Leverage AI to accelerate your own work and help decide how the team uses AI tooling to move faster and prototype more efficiently WHAT YOU'VE DONE 6+ years of product management experience, including leading zero-to-one or early-stage initiatives when the problem, requirements, and path forward were not fully defined You have healthcare experience, ideally building workflow, data, or integration products for enterprise contexts You're comfortable with ambiguity and defining a path forward for yourself and others You have hands-on experience building or shipping AI/LLM-powered products You communicate clearly and build alignment across engineering, clinical, and business stakeholders You like to operate close to the technical details, such as data models, edge cases, evaluations, and impacts of implementation Nice to haves: Experience in oncology, serious illness / palliative care, or chronic condition management Hands-on experience shipping AI/LLM-powered product features, including safety guardrails, evaluation, and quality measurement OUR VALUES At Thyme Care, our core values guide us in everything we do: Act with our members in mind, Move with purpose, and Seek diverse perspectives. They anchor our business decisions, including how we grow, the products we make, and the paths we choose—or don't choose. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. The base salary for this role is $195,500-$230,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired at another level. This position is also bonus-eligible. We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We're here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer. Be cautious of recruitment fraud , and always confirm that communications are coming from an official Thyme Care email. Forward Deployed Engineer (f/m/d)
Full TimeOn-siteMid
godockerlinuxclinicalproject managementscheduling+4

About Valova We are building the AI operations platform for European hospitals, so every clinician can focus on patients. Behind every patient sits a chain of admin work: documentation, coding, billing, audits, scheduling. It runs through disconnected systems and endless manual hand-offs , while most German hospitals already operate at a loss . We start where the impact is measurable from day one: case to cash . Valova codes every case, defends it in audits and makes sure the money lands. From there we take on every workflow that runs a hospital , until one agentic system handles the routine and people decide the exceptions. First Germany, then Europe. Doctors, engineers and operators, on-site in Munich and Berlin . Join us! Why this role matters Valova only works as well as it fits into the hospital. Our product creates the most value when it's deeply connected to a hospital's systems and built around how coders and medical controlling actually work. Today, connecting to a hospital information system can take months. That's time hospitals keep losing revenue and coders keep working by hand. That's where you come in. As Forward Deployed Engineer, you own technical go-lives from start to finish : from the first sandbox to production, from the interface to the workflow on the ward. You're the bridge between hospital IT, the people who use Valova and our engineering team . Your impact is easy to see: in hospitals that go live faster, in integrations that run reliably, and in a product that gets better with every deployment because you bring back what you learn. This is a hands-on engineering role with real code in production and direct influence on our roadmap. It's not a support desk, not a pre-sales role and not project management where others do the building. And it's not a desk job: you'll regularly be on site in hospitals How the role sits in the team You report directly to Christian, our CTO, and work day to day with our engineering team on connectors, deployments and internal tooling. With Malte and our product team, you turn what you see in hospitals into clear requirements. In hospital projects, you work hand in hand with our customer success and sales team and on the hospital side with IT leads, KIS vendors, coders and medical controlling. What you will do Bring hospitals live: You take hospitals from sandbox to production, deploy Valova on hospital VMs and connect it to KIS systems such as SAP i.s.h.med, Orbis or Dedalus. Build the connections: You build and maintain interfaces (HL7, FHIR, archive and document exports) together with hospital IT and their partners. Set up Valova for each customer: You configure document types, case filtering, department rules and coding workflows. Learn from the ward: You work on site with coders and medical controlling and turn their friction into clear product requirements. Make deployments repeatable: You write the code that makes the next go-live faster: connectors, scripts, monitoring and internal tooling. Earn the hospital's trust: You answer technical questions in security and data protection reviews (BSI C5, GDPR). What we are looking for: Engineering experience: At least two years in software engineering, and you're comfortable with Linux, Docker and basic networking. Integration know-how: You've worked on system integrations. Experience with HL7/FHIR or SAP environments is a big plus. Customer focus: You enjoy working with customers and explain technical topics clearly to IT leads and coders alike. High ownership: You move things forward, even when three parties are involved. Travel: You're happy to spend around 30 percent of your time at hospitals across Germany. Languages: You speak fluent German and English, since our customers work in German. Location: You work from our office in Munich or Berlin. Missing one or two points, but convinced you're the right person for this role? Apply anyway. We're looking forward to meeting you! What you get Work that means something, every day. Your agents are the core of our product and directly help improve the German healthcare system. Ownership from week one. You take over real projects with a clear outcome and your name on it, not a list of tasks someone else defined. Direct access to the founders. You work day to day with our founders Sophia, a physician and ex-McKinsey consultant, and Christian, who has founded two health tech startups and spent a decade building clinical systems. No layers, no waiting weeks for approvals. Trust and freedom. We trust you to solve problems your way, and the team has your back 100%. Learning at startup speed. You will see more in one year here than in three years elsewhere, across models, infrastructure, product and customers, with a team that has a proven track record of deploying AI in healthcare. One team, in the heart of the city. We work together on-site at WeWork Odeonsplatz in Munich and WeWork in central Berlin. Fully serviced offices with coffee, meeting rooms and phone booths mean zero admin, and the city-center location means short commutes, easy access to customers and investors, and lunch spots around every corner. Team events that bring Munich and Berlin together, because the people you build with should also be the people you celebrate with. What success looks like After 3 months, you know Valova's stack inside out and have taken a hospital through its first technical setup together with our team. After 6 months, you've taken at least two hospitals live, and a new KIS connection takes weeks instead of months. After 12 months, our deployments are largely repeatable: connectors, scripts and monitoring you built make every go-live faster. Throughout, what you learn in hospitals shapes our roadmap, and hospital IT teams see you as their trusted contact at Valova. How it works Just upload your CV with your application. We'll get in touch with you for the next steps: Intro call (30 min): We get to know each other, talk about your background and answer your first questions. Technical interview with Christian (CTO) (60 min): We dive into your engineering experience and the integrations you've built. Case: You work through a realistic hospital integration scenario and present it to the team. References: We speak with two or three people you've worked with, such as former managers or colleagues. Meet the team: You spend a day with us on-site in Munich or Berlin, meet our founders Sophia and Christian and see how we work day to day. Offer: If it's a match for both sides, you'll hear from us quickly. We look forward to your application, regardless of gender, background, religion, disability, age or sexual identity.
