About Us Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to allied forces. Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected. About the Role Harmattan AI is scaling its industrial footprint across France, Morocco, the United States and future production locations. We are looking for a Director Global Logistics to build and lead the logistics function supporting this growth. The role owns the movement of finished products from shipment readiness through customer delivery. This includes international transport, customs, dangerous goods, export-control execution, routing, forwarders and delivery performance. It is a global leadership role with strong operational responsibility and close interfaces with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, Programme teams and international customers. Responsibilities The Director Global Logistics will establish and manage a global logistics system that is compliant, scalable and operationally effective. The role will own customer delivery from release of the finished product through proof of delivery, including transport planning, Incoterms, shipment documentation, customs clearance and delivery visibility. It will also define and manage the global network of freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers. A major part of the role is ensuring that export-control, dangerous-goods and customs requirements are integrated early into the delivery process rather than addressed only when goods are ready to ship. The Director will therefore work closely with Legal, Supply Chain and Production to anticipate licence requirements, routing constraints and transport risks. The role will establish common logistics standards, processes and KPIs across all production locations and deploy the logistics system into new factories and countries as Harmattan AI expands. The Director will also build the team and external partner network required to improve delivery reliability, lead time and logistics cost. Supply Chain owns material flow into and through Production. Global Logistics owns the controlled movement of released finished goods to the customer. The role covers: Customer delivery and international transport Customs and trade operations Export-control execution Dangerous-goods logistics Forwarder, carrier and broker management Global routing and logistics network design Shipment compliance and release Logistics performance and cost management Candidate Requirements Experienced international logistics leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-growing and highly regulated industrial environment. Significant experience in international logistics, preferably in defence or another highly regulated industrial environment, together with strong knowledge of customs, import/export processes, international freight, Incoterms and shipment documentation. Experience with dangerous goods, regulated shipments and licence-dependent export processes is important, as is experience managing freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers. Strong operational judgement and ability to make clear decisions under delivery pressure while maintaining compliance. Experience building or scaling logistics processes across several countries or production locations would be a strong advantage. Comfortable working across Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal and customer-facing teams and able to build processes that remain practical as the organisation grows. Combines strong compliance discipline with a pragmatic operational mindset. Anticipates problems before they affect customer delivery, creates clear ownership and is comfortable building structures where processes are still evolving. Able to distinguish between what is legally required, what is operationally necessary and what can be simplified, while creating a global logistics organisation that can scale with the company. We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI. Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow

ServiceCentral builds software for the device repair and reverse logistics industry ? point-of-sale, enterprise service management, and repair network tools used by 500+ customers across 100+ countries. Customers include national insurance carriers, OEM-authorised service providers, and franchise repair networks. We are looking for a senior software developer who has made AI a structural part of how they build software ? applying agentic systems, knowledge pipelines, and AI-connected tooling not as features, but as engineering fundamentals. This is not a role for someone who has added AI features to an app. We're looking for an experienced engineer who has restructured how software gets built ? using AI agents to automate development tasks, MCPs to connect AI systems to real tools and data, and knowledge repositories to give AI systems reliable, domain-specific grounding. Strong software architecture and system design are the baseline. AI tool mastery is the differentiator. This role sits at the intersection of both, and neither substitutes for the other. What You'll Do Build Software Using AI as the Primary Instrument Design, develop, and maintain production-grade SaaS applications using AI agents and tooling as first-class parts of your workflow, not bolt-ons. Use agentic systems to automate development tasks: scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, code review, documentation. Build and maintain MCP servers that connect AI systems to codebases, APIs, databases, and internal tools so AI assistants have reliable, scoped access to the context they need. Design and maintain knowledge repositories (vector databases, retrieval pipelines, embeddings) that give AI systems accurate, current, domain-specific grounding. Apply these tools across the full SDLC: from architecture drafting and requirements analysis through implementation, testing, and deployment. Architect Systems, Not Just Features Own architecture decisions end-to-end. Design service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and integration patterns with long-term maintainability in mind. Reason through tradeoffs explicitly and document them so others can understand the reasoning, not just the outcome. Design for observability, reliability, and failure from the start. Identify and address structural technical debt before it compounds. Build and Maintain SaaS Products Design, develop, and maintain scalable line-of-business SaaS applications. Build backend services, APIs, and data models. Ensure system performance, reliability, and security. Translate operational business needs into well-architected software solutions. Required Qualifications Senior-level software development experience: you have owned architecture decisions, designed systems from scratch, and can articulate the tradeoffs you made and what you'd change Proven, hands-on experience building with AI agents in production: systems that use LLMs to plan, use tools, and execute multi-step tasks reliably Practical experience building or consuming MCPs (Model Context Protocol) to connect AI models to tools, APIs, codebases, or data sources Experience designing and maintaining knowledge repositories (RAG pipelines, vector databases, embedding strategies) that provide reliable grounding for AI systems Experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as a structured part of your development workflow, not just for autocomplete Strong backend development skills and experience shipping production SaaS applications Experience designing APIs, data models, and service integrations that other developers build on Preferred but Not Required Experience with PHP or .NET development stacks Experience with MySQL or Oracle database engines Ex

About Andercore Andercore is the AI-native supplier of industrial materials for energy, infrastructure, and construction in wholesale and beyond. We trade with global suppliers and distribute to European customers on our own account. Our AI runs the full trade and distribution end-to-end: sourcing, quality, pricing, sales, logistics, and embedded financing. For the customer, it feels like buying from their preferred local supplier; for our partners, it is the most convenient and safe way to do business across borders. Behind it, our software and agentic AI do the heavy lifting that used to take an asset-intensive supply chain with four or five intermediaries and weeks of manual coordination. Where we are today: Strong triple-digit-million euro turnover Seven European markets live 80+ people across Berlin (HQ), offices in London, Mumbai, and Shanghai $40M Series B just closed, $75M raised to date from Atomico, Project A, and Inven Capital, institutional financing from international banks. We are building the world's first and last industrial-grade AI operating system for materials, redefining how global trade works in one of the largest and most essential industries on earth. Acquisitions are our second growth path. We buy established industrial distribution businesses in the EUR 20-40M revenue range, owners and management stay on board, and we connect them to our platform, our procurement, our financing lines and our AI stack. Three deals are live, two are close to signature, and at run rate we intend to close around five per year out of a mapped universe of roughly 200 targets. Role Overview You own what happens after signing. Origination, valuation and deal execution sit with the CEO and our senior M&A advisor. Your mandate starts the day a company becomes part of Andercore and it ends when that company runs better than it did before. These are analog businesses. Fifteen years old, owner-led, hemdsärmelig, a well-run P&L and almost no technology underneath it. They are profitable, they are growing, and they are at their operational limit. Our hypothesis is that our platform, our purchasing power, our credit facilities and our automation take them past that limit. Your job is to find out on the ground whether that hypothesis holds, in which order, and at what pace - and then to make it happen with the management team, not to them. We do not arrive as the saviour with the AI magic box. We say so explicitly to every seller, and you will hold that line. What You Will Own Holding Management from Day 1 Access to accounting and financials from day one, monthly numbers on a fixed close, one reporting framework across all acquired entities. Set the baseline: revenue, margin, working capital, cash, customer and supplier concentration. No opinion without the number behind it. Pick up the commitments made during due diligence and turn them into the operating rhythm of the first 100 days. Run the portfolio as a financial participation first. Both companies are growing. Do not put anything into a skid. On-the-Ground Diagnosis Spend real time inside the acquired businesses and find out where they actually stand, which is never where they say they stand. Map the connection points: procurement, pricing, inventory, sales productivity, logistics, financing, ERP, reporting. Test our integration theses against reality, quantify the ones that hold, kill the ones that do not, and bring the correction back to the CEO fast. Value Creation Sequence and land the levers with the management team: central procurement, our credit and working-capital facilities, pricing, sales productivity, customer intelligence, automation of manual back office. Decide with the CEO what gets centralized, what stays entrepreneurial, and what we take from them - the flow runs in both directions, several of these companies do things better than we do. Track every lever against the original investment case in euros. Owner and Management Relationship Be the peer of a Geschäftsführer who built a EUR 30M business himself. Credibility comes from having done operating work, not from a framework. Be the one who checks whether things are as good as they are described, and who says it out loud when they are not. The CEO stays the partner; you bring the uncomfortable version. Manage expectations in the other direction too: we are not a service provider that solves the acquired company's problems for it. Playbook and Team Codify integration into a repeatable capability: Day-1 checklist, reporting standard, diagnostic framework, lever library, 100-day plan. Make the fourth acquisition faster than the first, then build and lead the team that runs them in parallel. Scope Boundaries / What This Role Is Not Not M&A. No origination, no valuation, no LOI, no SPA. That sits with the CEO and our senior M&A advisor. Not a PMO. Nobody here sends a 400-line integration plan with traffic lights to an owner-manager. That gets you thrown out of the room, correctly. Not a consulting engagement. You are measured on the numbers of the acquired companies, not on the quality of the analysis. Not a corporate integration role. These are not hierarchical organizations that execute what the centre decides. Not a process you inherit. There is none yet. You build it. What We Are Looking For You are an operator out of a private equity value-creation or portfolio operations team, or a generalist from strategy and transformation with real time spent inside operating companies. Roughly eight to twelve years in. You bring: At least one integration or post-close situation you personally carried, where you can name the specific knotty problem you solved and why it worked. We will ask for that story in the first interview. Operating substance: you have sat in procurement, pricing, supply chain, finance or sales of a real company, not only next to it. Geländegängigkeit. You are comfortable with an entrepreneur who is highly intelligent, rough around the edges, and holds two cars and a boat inside the company. Nothing about that scenario throws you. People work as roughly half the job. Influence without formal authority, because these managing directors did not sign up to be managed. A strong observer. You read a business and a person quickly and accurately. Fluent German and English. German is not optional; these conversations happen in German. Fluency with modern AI tooling and the instinct to automate your own work. You do not need to be an engineer. You do not need five PMI programmes on your CV. We would rather you had none than that you learned to fill in lists instead of thinking. What Success Looks Like Within your first 12 months: Every acquired entity reports monthly on one framework, on a fixed close, with us having access to accounting. Each acquisition has its integration thesis validated or killed with numbers within 90 days of closing. The acquired businesses keep growing. No customer, supplier or key person lost to the transaction. The first value-creation levers are live and their P&L impact is measurable in euros. A documented playbook exists, and the next integration starts faster than the last. Over time you own integration and value creation for the whole group at a pace of several acquisitions per year, and build the team that delivers it. Package Fixed base plus a variable component tied directly to the success of each integration. Virtual equity in Andercore at the current strike, with meaningful upside if we build what we intend to build. Direct work with the Founder & CEO, the M&A advisor, the Board and our investors. We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic. We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic. We believe that diversity drives innovation, creativity, and collective strength. Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
