About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic's Applied AI team helps the world's largest organizations put Claude to work. As a Cybersecurity Specialist on Applied AI, you'll be part of an overlay team of domain experts who sit alongside our enterprise account teams and bring deep security expertise to the accounts where it matters most. You won't own an account. You'll be the security expert the account team pulls in to win and grow the most important security conversations: helping CISOs and security leaders see where Claude can take on real security work, then guiding them from early pilots to durable, production workloads. You'll cover a portfolio of enterprise accounts across regulated industries like financial services, insurance, and healthcare, strategic accounts like semiconductors (IP protection, industrial control systems, export controls), and digital natives and public sector agencies, each with its own threat model. How this team works You partner with account executives, account architects, and generalist Applied AI engineers, who own the customer relationship and the broader technical engagement. You bring the security depth they don't have time to build. You work across many accounts at once, so the playbooks, reference implementations, and evaluation approaches you build are reused across the field, not just for one customer. You are the connection point between the field and Anthropic's Product, Research, and Engineering teams, turning what you see in customer security programs into product feedback. You work alongside ISVs, systems integrators, and managed security providers who already serve these customers, enabling them where they own the engagement rather than competing with them. Responsibilities Join account teams to understand a customer's security program, identify where Claude can do meaningful security work, and turn that into a technical plan and business case Serve as the security-domain technical advisor on strategic enterprise accounts, from discovery through deployment Move customers from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads: application security in the SDLC, continuous automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and threat intelligence that answers "does this new vulnerability affect us, and where" Build and maintain reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation approaches, and help customers adapt them to their own environments and controls Run workshops and hands-on sessions where customer security teams use Claude on their own code and workflows Equip partners to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes, with a clear line between what Anthropic delivers and what partners deliver Speak credibly to every audience, from appsec engineers to CISOs and executives, including how to explain the value and risk of security work in business terms Define and track adoption depth for each security workload across your accounts, and work with Product and Engineering on the telemetry to measure it Write the playbooks and best practices the rest of the field can reuse, including how Claude complements the security tooling customers already own Develop reference customers who can speak to the value they're realizing Stay current on frontier LLM capabilities and the new classes of vulnerabilities and attacks they surface Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and technical deep dives You may be a good fit if you have 5+ years in security roles, with hands-on depth in at least two of: application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management Experience in a technical customer-facing role (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, TAM), or on a security team where you had to win investment from leadership Experience with large enterprise customers and complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles, including working alongside the vendors and partners already in the account The ability to translate between security teams, engineering teams, and executives Comfort with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments, plus hands-on experience using LLMs for security work such as code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation A love of teaching and a collaborative approach to working across teams and balancing competing priorities The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $300,000 — $400,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. The Role We've grown to roughly 265 people working onsite from our Menlo Park headquarters, supported by a large network of remote U.S.-licensed clinicians — and part of the Series C is earmarked for acquisitions. The systems and the spaces holding all of that together were built for a much smaller company. We're hiring a Director of IT & Workplace to own them properly. You'll own two halves of the same problem: the employee technology platform — identity, endpoints, networking, the SaaS portfolio, and our IT security posture — and the physical environment the company runs on, from space planning and physical security to the AV that customer demos and all-hands depend on. You'll inherit a small, capable team and be accountable for leveling it up. You'll be the named owner for IT controls in our HIPAA and SOC 2 programs, you'll own the IT and workplace budget, and when we acquire a company, you'll be the one integrating it. Our Environment Identity and access: Okta for SSO, MFA, and lifecycle provisioning. Productivity: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, both in active use across the company. Endpoints: a Mac-primary fleet with Windows machines alongside it, managed through MDM. VDIs included. Internal systems: IRU, plus a growing portfolio of internal and third-party SaaS applications. Workplace: a Palo Alto headquarters with conference room AV and access control, plus a distributed clinician and staff population. What You'll Do Strategy, budget, and team Own a multi-year IT and workplace roadmap tied to the hiring plan, and bring it to leadership with clear tradeoffs and funding asks. Own the IT and workplace operating and capital budget: forecast it, defend it in planning cycles, and continuously rationalize license, vendor, and facilities spend. Lead, coach, and grow the existing team — set clear expectations, run honest performance conversations, hire as scope deepens, and build career paths that keep strong people. Define and publish service levels for ticket response, uptime, onboarding readiness, and workplace turnaround, and report against them to the executive team. Technology and infrastructure Own the identity platform: SSO, MFA, automated joiner-mover-leaver provisioning in Okta, and access governance across every connected application. Own the endpoint fleet and the SaaS portfolio — Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, IRU, and a long tail of business applications — with enforced MDM baselines for encryption, patching, and configuration. Own network and connectivity for the headquarters and the remote workforce, with redundancy appropriate to a company our customers depend on. Replace manual provisioning, access reviews, and device setup with scripted, auditable workflows. Lead major programs end to end: platform migrations, upgrades, office buildouts, and the IT and workplace integration of acquired companies. Security, compliance, and risk Serve as the accountable owner for IT controls in our HIPAA, SOC 2, and customer security review programs, including evidence collection and audit response. Enforce least privilege across the environment and run recurring access certifications with documented outcomes. Partner with Security on incident response and vulnerability remediation, and with Legal on data handling, retention, and discovery requests. Own business continuity and disaster recovery for corporate systems — write the plans, test them, and fix what the tests expose. Treat protected health information and confidential data with the care our customers and their patients expect. This is non-negotiable in everything we do. Workplace and facilities Own day-to-day operations of the headquarters, and lead space planning and buildouts against a hiring plan that keeps moving. Manage physical security — access control and badging, visitor management, cameras, and emergency preparedness — aligned with our compliance obligations. Own conference room and event AV, including all-hands and customer visits, to a standard where the technology is never the story. Support remote clinicians and staff with reliable equipment logistics, home office standards, and consistent service regardless of location. Manage facilities, AV, security, and food vendors, plus landlord and lease matters, in partnership with Finance and Legal. What You'll Bring 8+ years in IT , spanning hands-on administration or engineering and progressively senior ownership. You've done the work you'll now be leading. 3+ years managing IT or workplace teams , including hiring, performance management, and developing people into bigger roles. Proven ownership of an IT function through rapid growth. You've scaled systems and process ahead of headcount, not behind it. Deep technical expertise across identity (Okta or comparable), Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, MDM at fleet scale, and corporate networking. Experience as a named control owner in a regulated environment — HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST — including sitting across the table from auditors. Budget ownership and vendor negotiation experience , with the financial fluency to frame a risk or a funding ask so a CFO can act on it. Workplace or facilities exposure — buildouts, moves, physical security, or lease management — or a genuine appetite to own it and learn quickly. Willingness to stay close to the work. This is a leadership role at a company where the director still unblocks a broken demo when it matters. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. We weigh demonstrated ability over credentials. Nice to Have Healthcare, life sciences, or another environment handling sensitive personal data at scale. IT integration of an acquisition, or standing up a function's first access governance or asset management program. Automation depth (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience managing devices and infrastructure as code. Certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, Jamf, CISM, CISSP, or ITIL. Why Join Hippocratic AI Reinvent healthcare with AI that puts safety first. About Us: Wrapbook is the AI platform for production finance. We're building a system of action that puts finance teams in control of their whole production, from payroll, to spend, to accounting. Built for feature films, TV, and commercials, Wrapbook is trusted by teams at Netflix, Paramount, Anonymous Content, and more. With backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Jeffrey Katzenberg's WndrCo, our team of 350+ is using AI to transform how finance teams work and empower them to do more with less. The Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer II, Applied AI (Remote - USA / Canada) We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II, Applied AI to join our Agentic Systems team, where you'll build AI agents that automate workflows for teams across Wrapbook. You'll partner directly with internal teams like Marketing, Sales, Support, Operations and Finance to find high-leverage processes, then design, ship and iterate on agents that take real work off their plates. This is a chance to define how a 400+ person company runs on AI. You'll see the impact of your work every day, while shaping the patterns, tools and standards for how we build agents at Wrapbook. What You'll Do: Design and build production-grade AI agents with LangGraph that automate multi-step workflows for internal teams across Wrapbook Deploy, run and scale agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, using its runtime, memory, identity and gateway capabilities to make them secure and reliable, while tracking what they cost to run and keeping it efficient as usage grows Partner with internal teams to find high-impact workflows, draw out requirements from people who can't hand you a spec, and turn them into agent-driven solutions, explaining clearly what each agent can and can't reliably do Integrate agents with Wrapbook's internal systems, APIs and third-party tools so they can take real actions, not just answer questions Build evaluation, observability and guardrail frameworks to measure agent quality, catch failures and keep humans in the loop where it matters Establish reusable patterns, shared tools and best practices that let the Agentic Systems team ship new agents quickly and consistently Own agents end to end, from prototype to production, measuring their impact on the teams they serve and iterating based on usage data and feedback Drive adoption through clear documentation, training and enablement, so teams understand what each agent does, trust it and know how to get the most from it What You'll Have: 6+ years of back-end development experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js or Java, with a track record of delivering systems built for security, scalability, availability and performance Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered agents or workflows (with models such as Claude, GPT, Llama or Mistral), including prompting, tool use and structured outputs. You can walk us through one you built: how it was designed, what broke and how you fixed it Production experience with at least one agent or LLM framework, such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex or AutoGen, and a solid understanding of AI architectures like RAG, reranking and multi-agent orchestration. Experience with LangGraph specifically is a plus A security-first mindset: you think about data access, permissions and failure modes in everything you build, especially when agents can take real actions Strong product sense and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with non-technical teams to understand their workflows and turn them into reliable automation Comfort with ambiguity and an ownership mentality: you can take a loosely defined problem from idea to production on your own Nice to have: experience running AWS workloads in production and knowing how to design for, deploy on and get the most out of Amazon's services, ideally including Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Why Join Us: At Wrapbook, creativity meets technology — and not just in the product. In addition to a competitive salary and all the benefits you can expect from a fast-growing technology company, you'll get access to a team of creative problem solvers and the chance to see your contributions make large impacts Benefits include: Unlimited Paid Time Off Work from anywhere in Canada and USA Health and Dental benefits Up to $1,500 USD/ $2,025 CAD towards IT set up for your home Up to 2% matching RRSP / 401K Learning and Development opportunities Up to $50 USD/ $67.50 CAD towards Internet/Cell phone service Our Pledge to Fostering an Inclusive and Safe Workplace: Wrapbook pledges to be a harassment- and discrimination-free space for everyone, regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, nationality, neurotype, personal appearance, political affiliation, professional background, race, religion, or sexual identity or orientation.
