Product Engineer (Full Stack)
GranolaLondon, Germany13 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid$100,000 - $100,000 / Year
typescriptreactnode.jsfigmaawsterraform+1

Hey! We're team Granola 👋 We're building a category-defining product, backed by a $125M Series C and used daily by teams at companies like Cursor, Vanta, and Linear. We started by making meeting notes better. Now we're turning every conversation a company has into context that people and agents can act on. Most of what that means for users hasn't been designed yet. If you haven't already, you should check out what we're building , and why you should work here . The role You'll own user-facing features end to end: talking to users, deciding what to build, working closely with the Granola team. You'll take ideas from zero to one inside a product people already rely on every day. What you'll work on Agentic workflows: Turn what was said in a meeting into what gets done. Build the tools and context that let Granola's agents pick up where the conversation left off. Team workspaces. Help companies build a shared context layer from their most important conversations, while still prioritising user privacy and ownership. The core note experience. Keep AI-enhanced notes accurate and trustworthy, so people rely on them without checking. Prototype, then ship. Ship daily experiments to our internal app for quick feedback, and collaborate with the team and our users to get it to production. New surfaces. Bring Granola to more of the places people work, across desktop, mobile and integrations. How we work People and product first. We hire people who are kind, down to earth and pragmatic, who care deeply about the product, and who want to stay connected to the customers using it. Product isn't one team's job here; it's everyone's. High autonomy. Engineers spot opportunities and ship improvements themselves. We'd rather you ship it than write about it. Everyone talks to users. Every engineer works directly with the people using Granola, and that's where most of our best ideas come from. A high bar for engineering and product. We expect strong technical ability and strong product sense. Engineers think like PMs: they understand the user's problem and help shape the direction of what they build. Room to experiment. Every engineer has a budget from day one to use new models, tools and technologies which make them more productive. Design and quality matter. Thoughtful design, a high quality bar and close collaboration on everything we build. We work in person, with flexibility. We're in the office five days a week because we genuinely like building together. It's relaxed: dress down, bring your dog, and no fixed office hours. What that looks like in practice: the version of Granola we use internally goes far beyond the public app. We're building at the frontier of agentic software, and we try every new capability on ourselves first. The team The Granola team is kind, curious and design-obsessed. Many of us are former founders, others have built products at Figma, Apple, Google and Meta, and we're all still learning from each other. Who we're looking for We don't set a minimum number of years. Some of our strongest engineers graduated two years ago; others have run their own companies. We care about what you've built and how you think about it. You've shipped user-facing features end to end, with visible impact on a product, and you can show us. You're strong in TypeScript, React and Node.js, and comfortable down to Postgres and AWS. You have taste: you care about UX, speed and polish, and you push back when something doesn't feel right. You're comfortable shaping the problem, not just building the solution, and you enjoy talking to users to get there. You can take an idea from zero to one: a rough prototype in front of users, then iteration until it's polished. You're curious about building with LLMs. Direct experience with prompts, evals or agents is a bonus, not a requirement. Our stack TypeScript, React, Node.js, Postgres, AWS and Terraform, plus whichever new models and tools prove themselves. You don't need experience with everything, but you should be excited to work close to users and ship often. How we hire Our interviews start with the product: who the user is, what problem matters and what you'd build first. Throughout, we're looking for product sense, good judgement on trade-offs, real engineering depth, and how you'd use your experience to shape a product from the ground up. We also look for people who ship quickly, iterate and love to experiment, and who stay kind and pragmatic along the way. What we offer We're living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968, and we want to build that future together in London. We pay slightly above market on salary and above market on equity. We work together in person five days a week at our office in Old Street, and we offer relocation support if you're moving to London. Great people come from all kinds of backgrounds. If this speaks to you, whether or not you look like a fit on paper, we'd love to hear from you. Compensation: £100K – £130K • Offers Equity • + Benefits (inc Private Health Insurance, Mallorca villa & more) • Base Salary £100K – £130K • Offers Equity • + Benefits (inc Private Health Insurance, Mallorca villa & more) Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

WunderGraph is a fast-growing startup, our goal is to bring everybody together to build digital products end-to-end. From interface design to API implementation, we provide the platform to go from sketch to product in a category-defining collaborative experience. Our North Star is to take the friction out of bringing digital ideas to life, making room for your ideas and productivity. Developers from some of the biggest companies in the world are using WunderGraph to design and streamline their API environments. We raised our Series A ($7.5 million USD) in March 2025, being backed by eBay, Karma Ventures, and Aspenwood Ventures. The culture we are creating together is extremely important to us. Read here how we are Building the Company We Always Wanted to Work In . We invite everyone that wants to join us to understand our Core Beliefs and if you want to make an impact, have your voice heard, and work in a no-BS organization where you can get stuff done, look no further and apply today so we can chat. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Product Designer at WunderGraph, you are the connection between what our users will find most helpful and what our engineers build. Considering the users also happen to be other developers, this becomes an interesting challenge to think about the Developer Experience as the User Experience. You combine sharp user insight, craft, and pragmatism to deliver experiences that are elegant, usable, and built to scale. This is a wide-reaching role, as design roles at a startup should be. One week you might be running user interviews to shape a new feature; the next, refining our design system or designing a marketing landing page. You ground your work in evidence rather than assumption, partner closely with product and engineering, and turn what you learn about users into a clear, informed UX strategy that guides where we go next. TEAM INTEGRATION Reports to the VP of Product; is part of the Product team Aligns closely with the CEO (Product) and Head of Customer Success (customer experience and business impact) Collaborate within the Product team with the Delivery Lead and the Design Engineer Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, product, and customer success ROLE OBJECTIVES You are successful if you: Take ownership of the complete design lifecycle, bridging the gap between initial discovery and final delivery for web and product interfaces. Cultivate an evidence-based UX strategy that leverages user research and data to steer the product's evolution. Oversee the growth of a unified and extensible design system that spans both our product and marketing efforts. Convert user insights and organizational objectives into pragmatic, human-centric solutions engineered for long-term scalability. Advocate for excellence in accessibility, responsiveness, and performance as fundamental pillars of your craft. Provide mentorship to the team, sharing expertise in research methodologies and design principles. Refine the visual and functional identity of WunderGraph through meticulous and high-impact design work. Impact high-level product strategy by demonstrating how user-focused decisions drive tangible business impact. ROLE TASKS The role focuses on, but is not limited to: Product Design Design and prototype user flows, interfaces, and interactions with scalability in mind. Own design problems end to end. From initial concept through execution and iteration after launch. Rapidly produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, exploring multiple concepts and iterating quickly. Define and evolve our design system and component library, keeping it consistent and maintainable. Partner closely with engineers on feasibility, quality, and handoff, contributing to technical decisions (and coding where you're comfortable and it helps as a plus, not a requirement). Introduce advanced prototyping, interaction design, and motion practices. UX Research & Strategy Plan and conduct user research across discovery and validation via user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitor analysis. Turn ambiguous product questions into decision-grade research that maps to real product and design decisions. Synthesize findings into clear insights, personas, journey maps, and opportunity areas that the team can act on. Build and maintain a shared insight repository so learning is reusable, searchable, and available to everyone. Translate research into an informed, evolving UX strategy that guides the roadmap and anchors design direction in real user needs. Advocate for the user in prioritization and roadmap discussions, and define what "better" looks like through clear UX success metrics. Run discovery workshops and share insights so research shows up where decisions are made like in design reviews, product planning, and standups embedding user knowledge from the get-go. Web & Brand Experience Own the design and evolution of WunderGraph's web presence. Deliver assets that span product and marketing: landing pages, visuals, campaign graphics, and interactive components. Shape and maintain a cohesive style guide, balancing design innovation with consistency. Support brand storytelling with motion graphics and interactive elements. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Senior-level experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design, with a strong portfolio of shipped work. Product Engineer (Backend)
GranolaLondon, Germany13 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid$100,000 - $100,000 / Year
typescriptnode.jsfigmaawslambdaterraform+2

Hey! We're team Granola 👋 We're building a category-defining product, backed by a $125M Series C and used daily by teams at companies like Cursor, Vanta, and Linear. We started by making meeting notes better. Now we're turning every conversation a company has into context that people and agents can act on: shared team workspaces, APIs and integrations, and agentic workflows that do something with what was said. If you haven't already, you should check out what we're building , and why you should work here . The role You'll own the systems that make Granola fast, accurate and trustworthy for the next 100x of users, and you'll help decide what's worth building. Our backend engineers talk to users and ship product, not just services. What you'll work on The voice pipeline. Scale real-time transcription so notes land accurately in seconds, on every device people use. New models in production. Evaluate new voice and transcription models as they're released, and get the best ones into users' hands. The agent harness. Build the harness Granola's agents run in: long-running jobs, tool calls, retries, and retrieving the right context. APIs and integrations. Extend the APIs and integrations that let people bring Granola context into the AI tools they already use. Enterprise-grade trust. Build the permissions, data isolation and admin controls that let a company roll Granola out across every team. Data at scale. Own Postgres performance, observability and alerting as usage grows. You've owned backend systems in production that real users depended on, and you can talk through the trade-offs you made. You're strong in TypeScript and Node.js. You know relational databases deeply (we use Postgres): query plans, indexing, and migrations without downtime. You're comfortable with cloud infrastructure as code (we use AWS, Terraform and a lot of Lambda). You think about security and failure modes before the happy path. You have product sense: you can explain why a system matters to the person using it, and you'd rather ship what users need this week than the perfect version next quarter. Bonus: experience with speech or audio pipelines, LLM infrastructure, evals, or streaming systems. Our stack TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, AWS (with plenty of Lambda), Terraform, plus whichever new models and tools prove themselves. You don't need experience with everything, but you should be excited to work close to the product and at real scale.
