Remote from France or Germany · Full-time Become Kestra's first dedicated People hire. Help us grow from 50 to 100 people over the next 12 to 18 months, and strengthen the foundations that help a distributed team work well together. You will own recruitment and People operations, working directly with the founders and hiring managers. This is a hands-on role with room to shape the function as we grow. Reporting to: Emmanuel (CEO) and Ludovic (CTO), our co-founders Working language: English Why Kestra Orchestrate everything, everywhere. From one control plane. Data, infrastructure, business processes and AI agents. Build, run and govern them all, in the cloud or on your own servers. AI agents follow the same rules as everything else. We believe orchestration is becoming a shared layer of enterprise architecture: the layer that coordinates what runs across tools, teams and environments. Kestra is building that foundation as an open-source platform, giving enterprises a common way to manage increasingly complex automation. Founded in France, we are growing our enterprise business in Europe and the United States. In March 2026, we raised a $25M Series A led by RTP Global, with Alven, ISAI and Axeleo. Teams at JPMorgan Chase, Apple, TotalEnergies, Crédit Agricole, Leroy Merlin, Bloomberg and Deutsche Telekom run Kestra in production. The opportunity Our next stage depends on bringing in the right people and helping them succeed. We are hiring across Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing and Customer Operations, with substantial growth planned across functions and all the regions where we operate. You will bring dedicated People and Talent leadership to an established organisation, working with the founders, hiring managers and the Administration, Workplace Operations and Finance teams that already support our People processes. With colleagues across more than ten countries and many recent joiners, the work goes beyond hiring. People need a good start, clear expectations and connections across teams. You will help make that experience consistent as we grow. What you will own Recruitment from sourcing to signed offer. Find and engage candidates, run initial conversations, coordinate focused interview processes and keep the ATS reliable. Work with the founders and leaders across functions to prioritise roles and help hiring managers make well-supported decisions. People operations across countries. Work with our Administration, Workplace Operations and Finance teams to coordinate contracts, payroll partners, EOR providers, benefits, time off and employee requests. Keep records and deadlines clear, and work with local providers and advisers on employment requirements. Onboarding that gets people started well. Make the practical setup smooth and help managers give new joiners clear expectations, useful context and the right relationships from day one. Compensation and performance processes. Develop the framework with the founders, then run the cycles: salary reviews, levels, performance reviews and equity administration, including BSPCE where applicable. How we work as a distributed team. Organise all-hands and the company offsite, strengthen internal communication and build routines that help people collaborate across locations. A clear view of progress. Give the founders useful information on hiring, headcount and employment costs. Use it to identify bottlenecks and decide what needs attention. What you bring Experience combining People and Talent in a growing company. You have worked through a period of significant hiring and know which processes become necessary as a team grows. Recruitment experience you have built yourself. You have sourced candidates, assessed them with hiring managers and closed offers. You can explain the difficult searches, the hires that worked and what you learned from those that did not. Experience recruiting across functions. You have hired technical and business profiles, understand how to adapt your approach to different roles and markets, and work with managers to assess evidence of performance beyond a convincing interview. Practical knowledge of international employment. You have worked with EOR providers, payroll partners and local advisers, and know when a situation needs specialist input. Strong operational judgment. You are comfortable in an ATS, HRIS and payroll platforms, handle sensitive information carefully and follow through on details. The ability to build and operate. You can introduce a useful process, run it yourself and improve it without adding unnecessary complexity. Fluent professional English. French or German is useful for working with local employees and providers. Experience in developer tools or open source, a background in operations or consulting, or experience supporting US employment from Europe would be valuable. How you will work You will build on an established organisation, supported by the Administration, Workplace Operations and Finance teams that already carry our People processes. Your role is to bring dedicated expertise, coordinate this work and help it scale as the company grows. We already use Kestra to automate business and administrative workflows, improving them as our needs evolve. You will continue this approach with the teams involved: simplify processes, automate repetitive work and keep human attention where it matters. Managers remain responsible for their hiring decisions and teams. You will guide them, challenge them when necessary and agree priorities with the founders as recruitment and employee needs evolve. What we offer Compensation discussed in the first conversation, based on the scope and level of the role rather than your current salary. Equity participation, through BSPCE where applicable. Remote work from France or Germany, with flexibility around team commitments. An annual company offsite. Equipment, conference and training budgets, with time to learn. Direct access to the founders and the opportunity to build a function that grows with the company. How we hire 45 minutes with Emmanuel and Ludovic: the role, your experience and your questions. 60 minutes on your work: a hiring process you ran end to end and a complex international People situation you resolved. 45 minutes with two future colleagues: one from the commercial team and one from the technical team. Three conversations, no take-home exercise, and a decision within two weeks of the first call. Send your CV or LinkedIn profile. Find more English Speaking Jobs in France on Arbeitnow

Let's fix hospitality, for good. Hospitality is tough – margins are thin, waste is high, and teams are stretched. But it doesn't have to be this hard. That's why we built Nory . Our CEO, Conor, knows the pain first-hand. After founding and scaling Mad Egg in Ireland, he got fed up with juggling "market-leading" systems, clunky spreadsheets, and endless printouts. So he set out to build the tool he wished he'd had from day one. Nory is an all-knowing restaurant management system. It blends real-time data with AI predictive analytics, giving operators control of their margins. From food prep to forecasting, it's operational intelligence that helps restaurants run with consistency, certainty, and profit. The result? Thriving restaurants, better jobs, less waste, healthier margins. And we're just getting started. Fresh off a Series B led by Kinnevik , we've grown to 100+ people across Ireland, the UK, Spain and New York – and demand is scaling faster than we ever imagined. This is a contract role. The role: We're now looking for a Payroll Processor to join our growing Payroll team. In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to ensure accurate, on-time payroll for our hospitality clients while delivering excellent, clear support through our payroll inbox. Hours: UK business hours What you'll be doing: Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll for hospitality businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK payroll legislation. Payroll Inbox: Manage and respond to queries from employees and clients via the payroll inbox, covering pay calculations, tax deductions, pension contributions, and related matters. Compliance: Ensure all processing is carried out in line with current UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records for each client. Escalation: Identify and escalate more complex payroll queries to senior team members where needed. Ad Hoc Support: Assist with other payroll tasks and projects as required. What you'll bring: Essential: Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Experience using payroll software or platforms. Understanding of tax codes, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory payments. High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for payroll reporting. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly to both clients and employees. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Able to work UK business hours. Desirable: Experience with Ireland payroll legislation. Knowledge of HR and workforce management software. Experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment. If you're excited by what we're building, we'd love to hear from you, even if you don't tick every box. What you'll get in return: 💰 Competitive rate depending on experience 📈 Meaningful equity, at Nory everyone is an owner! 🌴 35 days of paid leave per year (including bank holidays) 🏥 Comprehensive private health insurance via Irish Life (Ireland) and Axa (UK) 🍼 Enhanced parental leave and baby loss support 📚 Learning & development culture – €1000 personal annual budget + quarterly book budget 🖥️ €250 home office workspace budget 🥳 Regular team offsites & socials 🌎 Work from anywhere for up to 3 months of the year 📍Offices in either London 🇬🇧 , Dublin 🇮🇪 or Spain 🇪🇸 👏 And much more How we work Our vision is to build a better future for the restaurant industry. One where operators are in control, margins are stronger, and frontline teams can build careers they're proud of. To get there, we move fast, stay focused, and hold ourselves to a high bar. Our values guide how we work, grow, and win – together. These are the values we live by: We serve up impact with a side of profit: We prioritise work that delivers real financial results for our restaurant partners. We prioritise speed of service: We move fast, unblock quickly, and deliver with urgency. We act like owners: We own problems, raise the bar, and build better every day. We win as a crew: We grow stronger through feedback, collaboration, and shared wins. We hire humans. At Nory, we believe that diverse teams build better products. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. We do not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, family status, age, disability, or race. What matters to us is how you think, how you work, and what you bring to the table. Please let us know if you require any adjustments so you can bring your best self to the interview process. 📈 Who We Are: We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that's long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today's electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators. We've built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale. In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership. We're scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems. At tem, we're not just building another energy company, we're rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception. 🚀 The Role We're hiring a People Operations Partner to join our Performance team. tem is rebuilding the energy transaction - transparent, fair and built on trust. Behind that mission is a company growing fast, and a Performance team that's already lean and stretched. Core People operations needs more firepower as we scale, and there's a direct commercial angle too: a strong People Operations function is what lets new joiners ramp up and become productive faster once they arrive. This is a multi-disciplinary People Operations role at the centre of the employee lifecycle - equal parts operational delivery, automation and continuous improvement. You'll be the reliable hands keeping People processes running as we scale, from multi-country payroll to onboarding, employee changes and offboarding. You'll also build the tools, automations and lightweight AI workflows that connect our systems (Rippling, Notion, Linear, Slack, Ashby, n8n and Google Workspace), so the function doesn't need to double in size every time headcount does. In your first 12 months, you might: Take ownership of payroll across our UK and employer-of-record employees, keeping every cycle accurate and on time as pay schedules and countries multiply. Become the trusted point of contact for employees and managers, owning their queries through to resolution. Build the automations and AI-enabled workflows that remove repetitive manual work from the employee lifecycle. Turn recurring pain points into better processes, tools or self-service, and measure whether they actually worked. Move across People disciplines as priorities shift - reward and benchmarking, pensions and options administration, performance cycles, engagement and people data. 🛠️ Responsibilities Run payroll end to end: own monthly payroll across UK and employer-of-record employees - changes, corrections, off-cycle and ex-gratia payments, contractor payroll and invoicing, and country-specific items - keeping it accurate and on time as we add pay schedules and countries. Keep the lifecycle running: deliver core People operations across onboarding, employee changes, contracts and documentation, leave, mobility (visas and international moves), EOR and contractor setup, and offboarding, flexing into whatever the business needs most. Be the trusted point of contact: own employee and manager queries through to resolution with a clear response standard, rather than passing them between functions. Keep the foundations accurate: maintain employee data, documentation and systems so that everything else can depend on them. Automate the repeatable: build and maintain automations and lightweight AI-enabled tools, workflows and agents that connect Rippling, Notion, Linear, Slack, Ashby, n8n, Google Workspace and similar, and remove repetitive manual work - with controls so speed never costs accuracy, privacy or employee trust. Own the People tech stack: evolve our People technology ecosystem - evaluate emerging tools, consolidate where we can, and simplify the architecture. Improve continuously: turn recurring employee and manager pain points into better processes, tools, guidance or self-service, measure whether they worked, and give foundational People processes a named owner and a runbook someone else could follow cold. Design to delight and to scale: we treat our people like top athletes and aim to delight at every step of the employee journey, and what works at today's size shouldn't need twice the People team when headcount doubles - default to eliminating or automating work rather than administering it. Partner across the business: work with Finance, Legal, Talent, Performance Partners and functional specialists to turn People initiatives into scalable services, and build dashboards and lightweight analysis that help the team and the business make better decisions. ✅ Requirements Must-Haves You've worked in People Operations, People Services, HR Operations or another operational People role - generalists welcome - and you hold a high bar on accuracy and confidentiality. You've run payroll cycles end to end, ideally multi-country, in-house or through an employer of record. UK fundamentals (PAYE, RTI, pension auto-enrolment, statutory payments) are familiar, or clearly learnable fast if your payroll experience comes from another market. You're highly comfortable with technology: AI is part of how you work, you actively experiment with new tools and capabilities, and you can build automations through no-code or low-code tools, integrations and AI workflows. You think in systems and workflows rather than individual tasks, with a strong instinct for simplification ("why are we doing this manually?"), and you're comfortable using data to diagnose problems and make decisions. You operate effectively in ambiguity, without waiting for a perfectly defined process or remit, and you balance efficiency with empathy - People Operations is about people, not just workflows. Strong ownership instincts: when something's broken, unclear or inefficient, your instinct is to fix it, and you're willing to move across People disciplines depending on where the organisation needs you. Desirable Breadth across the People remit beyond Operations - reward and benchmarking, pensions, benefits, or performance and engagement. This role is deliberately multi-disciplinary. Familiarity with the basics of UK and EU employment law, and experience administering equity or share options (for example EMI or unapproved schemes, and cap-table tools such as Vestd). Experience supporting international employment through employers of record, and setting up or managing contractors (including off-payroll and IR35 awareness). Experience in a fast-scaling startup or scale-up, especially through a period of doubling headcount or entering new countries. 🎁 Benefits & Perks Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission. 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off. Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons. Up to GBP1,200 or EUR1,400 per year for your remote setup. Up to GBP150 or EUR170 per month for wellbeing. 🤝 Interview Process We move fast. Most processes take 2 to 3 weeks from first chat to offer. If you need us to adapt anything, let us know. Intro call with our Talent team. Hiring Manager interview. Skills interview, which might include a practical exercise. Bar Raiser interview with leadership stakeholders. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you're excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we're looking for.
