Senior Corporate Enterprise Platform Engineer, Windows
Full TimeFully RemoteSenior$159,100 - $159,100 / Year
pythongopowershellgitopssqlencryption+5

Role Description As a Senior Client Platform Engineer on CorpFleet Engineering, you will own and improve Dropbox's Windows endpoint platform. You will bring deep Windows and Intune expertise, make patching and application delivery more reliable, and build automation that reduces recurring work for the team. This is a hands-on role combining Windows technical ownership with the development of a more code-managed endpoint platform. You will help evaluate and adopt FleetDM, osquery, infrastructure-as-code, and GitOps practices where they improve reliability, visibility, and maintainability. You will strengthen the current environment while building and validating the path forward—not assume that replacing a tool is the answer. You will work with CorpInfra, IAM, Security, and support teams to make practical technical decisions, lead multi-phase improvements, and clarify ownership. You will also mentor teammates through pairing, code review, and shared operational practices. This is an individual-contributor role, not a people-management position. Responsibilities Own endpoint reliability and lifecycle management. Improve provisioning, application delivery, updates, security configuration, and troubleshooting across the endpoint environment. Make patching predictable and safe. Strengthen update workflows through testing, controlled rollouts, and remediation. Make fleet health trustworthy and actionable. Improve reporting on device health, patching, and configuration, with clear ownership for resolving issues. Build maintainable automation. Turn recurring work into reliable, tested workflows that other engineers can operate. Advance code-managed endpoint operations. Adopt tools and practices that improve configuration management, validation, and deployment. Lead cross-functional platform improvements. Define practical roadmaps, resolve dependencies, and balance security, reliability, employee experience, and team capacity. Strengthen the team's capability. Mentor teammates, review code and designs, and document reusable practices that improve coverage across the endpoint team. Requirements Significant experience engineering and operating Windows endpoint environments, with personal ownership beyond ticket handling or routine console administration. Deep hands-on Intune experience across device lifecycle, configuration and compliance policies, application management, update workflows, and relevant Entra ID dependencies. Strong Windows troubleshooting skills across operating-system behavior, services, logs, networking, certificates, identity, and security controls. Able to distinguish reported management status from actual endpoint health. Recent ownership of Windows and third-party application patching, including staged deployment, user-impact validation, failed-device handling, exceptions, and recovery. Strong practical PowerShell skills and familiarity with at least one additional programming language, such as Python, Go, or C#. Experience building and maintaining production automation or systems integrations. Demonstrated use of version control, code review, automated checks, and controlled deployment for operational changes. Able to explain safe retries, failure handling, secrets management, and configuration drift. Ability to independently define and deliver multi-phase work, prioritize under ambiguity, partner across teams, and mentor other engineers. Clear written and verbal communication, including concise technical decisions, incident updates, runbooks, and effective asynchronous collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Production experience with FleetDM on Windows , including agent operations, policies, queries, targeting, API integrations, or configuration managed through GitOps. Practical osquery and SQL experience for endpoint inventory, health, or security use cases, including query validation, performance considerations, and handling stale or missing results. Experience with infrastructure-as-code or declarative configuration, continuous integration and delivery, and migration or coexistence between endpoint-management platforms. Experience with Automox, Patch My PC, or comparable tools , and with endpoint privilege management, application control, encryption, or other security controls. Experience supporting developer-heavy, distributed environments and contributing reusable automation across Windows, macOS, or Linux. Durable Skills AI fluency means using these tools to amplify human judgment, not replace it. We believe people with these skills will thrive as work and technology continue to evolve: Awareness: U nderstand yourself and others . Judgment: E valuat e information and mak e decisions in complex situations . Adaptability: L earn, adjust, and stay effective through change . At MongoDB, we're looking for a technically accomplished Solutions Architect who thrives on solving complex problems, understanding how systems work, and helping customers make better architectural decisions. You'll work with established MongoDB customers running production applications, applying hands-on expertise across databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, application architecture, and emerging AI technologies. As part of a globally distributed Solutions Architecture team, you'll engage with customers across multiple EMEA markets rather than being dedicated to a small number of accounts. This regional reach offers exposure to diverse industries, technologies, and architectural challenges, with opportunities to recognize patterns, build trusted technical relationships, and influence decisions across a broad customer landscape. You'll have the autonomy to drive meaningful technical engagements while drawing on the expertise of specialists and colleagues worldwide. We value architects who look beyond the immediate problem, investigate underlying causes, challenge assumptions, and bring informed technical perspectives to customer conversations. You'll help customers optimize what they run today while influencing the architectures and applications they build tomorrow. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model. What You'll Do Optimize Production Architectures: Analyze MongoDB workloads, query execution, indexing, data models, cluster configurations, and resource utilization. Identify performance bottlenecks, scalability constraints, and cost optimization opportunities Engineer for Resilience and Scale: Evaluate distributed architectures, replication, sharding, high availability, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Help customers understand technical trade-offs and design for evolving production requirements Think Beyond the Database: Assess how MongoDB interacts with application services, APIs, networking, security, cloud infrastructure, and adjacent technologies. Identify opportunities to simplify architectures, reduce technical debt, and improve operational efficiency Shape Future-State Architecture: Guide technical discussions around application modernization, cloud-native design, and AI-powered applications. Explore architectural considerations involving Search, Vector Search, RAG, intelligent agents, and their integration with operational data Lead Technical Discovery and Design: Engage developers, architects, and engineering leaders to investigate complex challenges, analyze technical evidence, assess architectural trade-offs, and develop actionable recommendations. Provide hands-on technical investigation and targeted validation to guide decisions, rather than owning ongoing support cases or implementation projects Improve How Customers Build and Operate: Look beyond technology to understand development workflows, operational practices, team capabilities, and architectural ownership. Identify opportunities to improve how applications are developed, deployed, and managed Build Trusted Technical Relationships: Establish credibility through technical expertise, curiosity, and sound judgment. Proactively identify architectural risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions constructively, and collaborate with MongoDB Technical Support, Professional Services, and product specialists when deeper troubleshooting or implementation expertise is required What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or related technical roles, including customer-facing technical engagement 2+ years of professional programming or scripting experience using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/ Node.js , C#, C++, or SQL Strong understanding of database technologies, distributed systems, modern application architectures, and high availability Practical experience investigating technical issues, analyzing performance, and evaluating architectural trade-offs Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and application architectures on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Ability to engage confidently with developers, architects, and technical leaders, translating complex technical findings into clear recommendations Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to independently drive technical engagements Preferred Qualifications Experience with MongoDB, Atlas, NoSQL, or relational database technologies Familiarity with query optimization, indexing, data modeling, replication, and database scaling Exposure to Kubernetes, Kafka, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, or application modernization Understanding of AI application patterns, Vector Search, RAG, or agentic systems About MongoDB MongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market. If you're the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you'll fit right in. Available Locations: Austin TX, San Francisco CA, NYC, Atlanta GA OR Denver CO About the role The GTM Intelligence team helps Cloudflare's go-to-market organization make faster, better decisions with trusted data. We work with Sales, Technical Sales, Services, Finance, and our central Data teams to make sure the people who sell, deploy, and support Cloudflare get consistent, reliable answers to the questions that matter most. We're looking for a Senior GTM Analytics Manager to set and execute the vision for how information scales across Cloudflare's technical customer-facing teams. You'll support Pre- and Post-Sales Operations, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Professional Services. This role is less about building more dashboards or doing one-off deep dives and more about building the foundations to support true self-serve analytics.  You will focus on single source of truth artifacts, strategic alignment of metrics to actions, and the data models, metric definitions, and context layers that let anyone in these organizations get a trustworthy answer that fits their needs. That person might be an executive, a frontline manager, an engineer in the field, or an AI agent working for any of them. You'll be a technical expert and a strategic partner in one. You'll be as comfortable reviewing a dimensional model with Data Engineering as you are agreeing a metric definition with a VP of Professional Services. And you'll be our go-to voice on how analytics should change now that more and more questions get answered through AI. This is a senior individual contributor role with wide influence and no direct reports. What you'll do Define and drive a multi-year strategy for how Pre-Sales, Post-Sales, Solutions Engineering, FDE, and Professional Services find, trust, and use data, including a maturity model and a phased roadmap. Act as a thought leader on scaling information in an AI-first world, working out how semantic layers, governed metrics, and well-built context let AI assistants and agents give accurate, consistent answers grounded in our business. Review the current mix of dashboards, reports, and tools across these teams. Create a plan to consolidate them, retire duplicates, and move toward a single source of truth. Define, document, and carry out the official metrics for the teams you support.  Keep metric definitions aligned with corporate definitions from Finance and Data, and resolve conflicts between teams with clear, defensible logic. Act as the main business and technical partner to the central Data team for the stakeholders you support.  Influence and review the design of data models across systems such as Salesforce, professional services tools, product usage and telemetry, support, and finance. Design how people get answers: self-serve access, natural-language and AI-assisted querying, embedded insights in daily workflows, and curated metric catalogs. Set up a formal intake and governance process for new metric and data requests, including prioritization, ownership, certification, and change management. Build trusted relationships with leaders in Sales, Solutions Engineering, FDE, Professional Services, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and Data. Explain complex technical and analytical ideas clearly to executives so they can make decisions. Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: 8+ years in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or GTM/Services operations at a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company. Direct experience supporting at least one of the following: Pre- or Post-Sales Operations, Solutions/Sales Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Professional Services, or Customer Success. You understand how these teams work, how they're measured, and how their data is created. Deep data modeling expertise, including dimensional modeling, entity design, and metric layer design. You can review and challenge a data model, not just consume one. Expert SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as BigQuery, dbt, or a semantic/metrics layer (for example dbt Semantic Layer, LookML, or Cube). Strong working knowledge of GTM and services systems data, such as Salesforce, professional services automation tools, and product usage or telemetry data. A clear, informed view on how AI changes analytics, including semantic layers, retrieval and context design for LLMs, text-to-SQL, and agent-based access to governed data, plus the data foundations those need to be accurate. A track record of defining and rolling out source-of-truth metrics across multiple stakeholder groups, including handling disagreements over definitions. Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs without formal authority, and to influence executives and engineers alike. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including turning ambiguous business questions into precise technical requirements and back again. BA/BS in a quantitative, technical, or business field. A Master's in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or an MBA is a plus.   Compensation Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
