Who we are Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale. Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term. About the role At Samsara, we're looking for a hands-on Staff Software Engineer to help turn growing Telematics products into major businesses. Our new product bets include routing and workforce management for physical operations. The portfolio has paying customers and early traction. You'll help shape what comes next, working directly with customers to understand their operations, test ideas and build solutions they choose to use. You'll stay close to the work through production, customer adoption and scale. This is a technical leadership role with substantial hands-on engineering. You'll define important problems and make product and technical decisions alongside Product, Design and Engineering partners. You'll bring the judgement to move forward when requirements are incomplete, and the influence to align other teams around a clear direction. What you will do Work directly with customers and customer-facing teams to understand unmet needs, test assumptions and identify opportunities worth pursuing. Agree on success measures with Product and Design before investing in a solution. Lead ambiguous initiatives end to end, from discovery and prototypes through production rollout, adoption and iteration. Use customer feedback and product data to decide what to improve, expand or stop. Write and ship code on the critical path. Work across services, APIs and customer-facing experiences as the problem requires, combining technical depth with the ability to learn unfamiliar parts of the product. Set technical direction for your area and align the teams needed to deliver it. Make pragmatic architecture choices that support rapid learning today and reliable growth over time. Own the production quality of what you build. Design for correctness, reliability and performance, plan safe rollouts, and use operational evidence to address the constraints that emerge as usage grows. Increase the effectiveness of the engineers around you through design and code reviews, mentoring senior engineers, and removing recurring obstacles to delivery. Share context and decisions so others can move independently. About the role: In this role, you will: Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team What you will bring A track record of shipping customer-facing products and growing them beyond their initial launch. You can explain your contribution to measurable outcomes such as adoption, revenue growth, retention, customer efficiency or cost to serve. Strong product judgement. You have worked directly with customers, clarified poorly defined problems and made decisions using evidence, including changing direction when an initial idea did not work. Deep hands-on software engineering ability, with recent experience designing, implementing and operating production systems. You can move from a prototype to maintainable software and explain the trade-offs along the way. Experience scaling products and the systems behind them. You know how to identify the next constraint, balance speed with reliability, and make technical investments that support customer and business growth. Technical leadership across team boundaries. You have built alignment without formal authority, made other engineers more effective, and communicated difficult choices clearly to technical and business partners. Experience that could be useful Experience building B2B software through an early growth stage, or working on routing, workforce management or other software for physical operations. We value evidence of learning a complex customer domain and delivering results; previous industry experience is helpful, rather than essential. What success looks like Customers adopt the capabilities you help build and can see the benefit in their day-to-day operations. The products remain dependable as usage grows. Your technical decisions support measurable business progress, and the teams around you can deliver more effectively because of your work. Total Rewards At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time. Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you're ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here. Flexible Working At Samsara, we embrace a flexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of our teams. Our offices are open for those who prefer to work in-person and we also support remote work where it aligns with our operational requirements. For certain positions, being close to one of our offices or within a specific geographic area is important to facilitate collaboration, access to resources, or alignment with our service regions. In these cases, the job description will clearly indicate any working location requirements. Our goal is to ensure that all members of our team can contribute effectively, whether they are working on-site, in a hybrid model, or fully remotely. All offers of employment are contingent upon an individual's ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location, if applicable. Build a Safer World. TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure. TRM helps financial institutions detect and stop illicit finance, and this role brings that mission to private sector clients including banks, payment providers, crypto natives and fintechs across DACH. You will own the Private Sector business in a territory where TRM is building coverage, setting account strategy and strategic deals with compliance and risk leaders. What makes this seat unusual is a base of existing DACH customers to grow, plus real room to build new accounts and the freedom to shape your own go-to-market with local partners and AI-assisted research. The impact you will have: Open new private sector accounts across the DACH region. Working with internal and external stakeholders to build effective networks to deliver commercial execution of TRM's services to leading private sector organisations across the region. Win a mixture of high velocity and larger more strategic engagements, by turning AML and fraud pain points into a clear business case, with AI-drafted account plans and proposals that you sharpen with your own market judgment. Own and define the model to build a 3x qualified pipeline each quarter through targeted campaigns, using AI-assisted segmentation and local-language messaging, and measure what converts. Decide how TRM enters each market, choosing between direct selling, resellers, and regional partners, and back each choice with AI-assisted analysis of account data. Grow strategic existing customers engagements through renewals, upsells, and new use cases. Bring customer and regulatory insight back to Product and Marketing so the next release matches how banks in your region actually work. What we're looking for: 5+ years selling SaaS or data products into banks, payment firms, crypto or fintechs in DACH, or 4+ years with deep AML and financial crime expertise, plus experience using AI tools to research and prioritize accounts. A record of closing a mixture of quick deal cycle and strategic longer term, higher value engagements and meeting quota, with AI-supported forecasting and pipeline reviews. Working knowledge of regional AML and sanctions frameworks and how compliance, risk, and procurement teams buy. Hands-on use of AI for prospecting, account planning, and call preparation, with clear examples of time or revenue gained. Experience building pipeline in a new territory, forming human lead networks and AI-assisted tools to test and measure what works. Credible, clear communication with senior compliance and risk executives, in person and virtually, including AI-assisted preparation for each meeting. Fluent German and English, French and additional relevant languages a bonus Based in Germany and willingness to travel regularly across the region. About the Team: TRM's EMEA Sales team gives each Account Director full ownership of a territory and the room to choose how to win it. The team collaborates closely and supports one another through shared pipeline insight, deal reviews, and open sharing of what works. The work is hard in a useful way: regulated buyers, several countries, long procurement cycles, and a product category that is still new to many banks. You will work with RevOps, Marketing, Legal, Product, and Solutions Architecture, who move quickly to back your deals. Learn about TRM Speed in this position: Within your first 30 days, you rank every target bank and fintech in your territory and start outreach to the top tier, so pipeline grows before onboarding ends. When a compliance leader asks for a demo late on a Friday, you and TRM's Solutions team deliver it that day, turning a warm inquiry into a scheduled evaluation by Monday. Within 90 days, you build qualified pipeline worth at least 3x your quota, backed by an account plan for every Tier 1 target. Team Operating Rhythms: Distributed, not distant: the team works across UK and CET time zones, and occasional US calls on complex deals. Slack is the center of day-to-day communication. @mention colleagues for timely responses. Weekly 1:1 with your manager, a weekly team call, a weekly pipeline call, a weekly forecast call, and regular pod calls. Company-wide all-hands and founder Q&A sessions keep everyone connected to the mission. Required online and collaboration hours: Schedule: Core hours overlapping CET, with flexibility for occasional US calls. Application Instructions If you're interested in joining TRM, we encourage you to apply directly. Every application is reviewed by our Talent team. Before applying, review the job description carefully and highlight the experience and impact that best demonstrate the required qualifications. Please also provide thoughtful and accurate answers to the application questions, as these will be used to evaluate your skills and qualifications for the role. If you send your resume directly to someone at TRM, we can't guarantee it will reach the appropriate hiring team. Applying directly is the best way to ensure your application will be considered. Interviewing with TRM Our process is designed to understand how you think, solve problems, and deliver impact, while allowing you to evaluate TRM. Most interview processes include a case study, an AI skills assessment, and a Leadership Principles interview. Recruiter Intro: Qualifications, motivations, and alignment with the role. Hiring Manager: Deep dive into your relevant experience, skills, and impact. First Round: 1–2 interviews focused on the skills most critical to the role. Final Round: Hands-on case study. This is usually a panel-style session where we go deeper into your craft, problem-solving, and alignment with TRM. References: Former colleagues who can provide insight into your work and impact. Offer: Congrats! Your recruiter will present the offer and compensation details. Welcome to TRM: We're excited to build a safer world with you! About GiveDirectly What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need? Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We've delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid. Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question: is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty? We're growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join. We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress. How we work Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated: Recipients first. Recipients' preferences come before those of donors or ourselves. Team next. We optimize for organizational success, not individual success. Be proactively candid. We say what we believe and share information openly. Create positive energy. We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain. Think rigorously; act quickly. We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate. Know yourself and grow. We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow. Accept reality. Propose solutions. We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems. Be productively ambitious. We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress. If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit. Want to learn more? Read and listen: We are one of Time100's Most Influential Companies of 2026, and our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We're now preparing to deliver billions of dollars a year to people in extreme poverty, if funding allows. Read our CEO's essay on what that will take.
