Please note that this opportunity requires relocation to our Luxembourg office. About us Traditional banking has never really given people control over their financial life. Satispay exists to change that: to empower people through finance . That means making financial services easy and accessible for millions of users. We started with payments, then benefits, investing, cards... and we're not done. Not even close. Same logic every time: find a real problem, solve it properly, then look for the next one. The destination? To build the most loved financial platform in the world. Getting there takes leaders who own outcomes across teams, not just tasks, and set the tone for refusing the "someone else will fix this" culture. If that's how you lead, you'll fit right in. Lead treasury activities across the Luxembourg entity, including cash management, cash forecasting, and coordination with the Treasury team. Risk Management: Track and uphold institutional capital benchmarks, establishing proactive detection mechanisms for market and liquidity exposures. Partner closely with the Chief Risk Officer and other control functions to ensure effective oversight of financial risks, including liquidity, capital, and balance sheet-related risks. Stakeholder Representation: Act as Satispay's primary financial representative to regulatory bodies, tax offices, and external auditors, ensuring the successful execution of annual audits. Financial Control & Performance Reporting: Oversee the Financial Control and Controlling functions, ensuring accurate month-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and timely management information for local and Group stakeholders. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business performance monitoring. Finance Operations: Ensure efficient and scalable Finance Operations processes, including reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities. Establish and maintain a strong financial control environment across all operational finance processes. Intercompany Integration: Work closely with the Group CFO and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of local financial activities, reporting, treasury, and planning processes within the Group Finance framework. You will lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ownership. What we're looking for We are seeking a proven leader with a distinguished track record of success in driving strategic initiatives and achieving significant business growth within relevant sectors. You will lead by example, combining ambition with purpose, drive impactful results and cultivate ownership and continuous improvement in our dynamic environment. Executive Experience: At least 8 years of leadership in financial roles at a primary EU financial hub or within Luxembourg-regulated payment institutions, EMIs, or banks. Compliance & Regulatory Mastery : Deep knowledge of CRR/CRD directives, CSSF requirements, Luxembourgish accounting (Lux GAAP/IFRS), and safeguarding standards. Regulatory Eligibility: Candidates must be qualified to meet the CSSF's "fit-and-proper" criteria necessary for official designation as an authorized director or manager Technical Core Competencies: Proven track record across treasury management, financial control, statutory and regulatory reporting, audit management, capital and liquidity management, and finance operations within regulated financial services environments. Strong understanding of Group consolidation processes, financial governance frameworks, and interaction with auditors, regulators, and supervisory authorities Language capabilities: Complete fluency in English We recognise that exceptional leadership comes in many forms. Day-to-day workload is manageable within a 50% FTE, and you will be fully supported by the company's global HR, payroll and compliance teams. Other concurrent work or mandates are welcome, provided they do not interfere with your availability and supervision of the entity's activities. This role is a strong fit for HR or EOR professionals already freelancing, holding consulting mandates, or looking to add a substantive part-time role to their portfolio. WHAT YOU'LL DO Act as the named Responsible Person for the Swiss entity under Swiss personnel leasing (SECO) law. Ensure compliance with Swiss labour-leasing legislation, Swiss employment law, and the staffing industry GAV (minimum wages and equal treatment). Maintain documentation required for SECO and cantonal audits and inspections. Serve as the primary Swiss contact for SECO and cantonal authorities. Oversee HR and employment operations for the Swiss entity - including onboarding, contract controls, and employment matters. Support payroll oversight in collaboration with the global payroll team. Handle employee and client escalations related to HR and compliance matters. Supervise the entity's EOR/personnel leasing activities and ensure they are conducted properly. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Right to Work in Switzerland - one of the following is required: Swiss citizen. EU/EFTA national with a current Swiss B or C permit. Non-EU/EFTA national with a Swiss C permit (a non-EU/EFTA B permit alone does not qualify). EU/EFTA national with a genuine 5-year cross-border G permit. Education: Any completed qualification - EFZ apprenticeship, Matura/Abitur, or university degree in any field. Experience - either route qualifies: Standard route: 3+ years in one of the following: recruitment or placement, personnel leasing or staffing (including EOR), substantive HR (not admin-only), personnel consulting, or organisational/business consulting. Employment certificates confirming dates, workload percentage and substantive duties are required alongside a CV. Alternative route: 3+ years of general professional experience plus a completed, recognised HR qualification with a passed exam (e.g. HRSE or VSH HR Assistant). Course attendance without a final certificate does not count. Character: Clean criminal record, debt-enforcement register and tax history. Other: Comfortable being named on the Commercial Register with signing authority. Willing to disclose other jobs, board mandates or licensed-business responsibilities. Genuinely hands-on - purely advisory profiles (external lawyers or accountants with no operational involvement) are not suitable. WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR or EOR professional in Switzerland to take on a meaningful operational role at a global scale without committing to a full-time position. You will hold a real and recognised legal position within the Swiss entity, with direct contact with SECO and cantonal authorities, while being backed by an experienced international HR, payroll and compliance team. The 50% structure makes this accessible to consultants, freelancers and professionals looking to add a substantive part-time engagement alongside existing work. International EOR or HR experience is fully valid - experience does not need to be Swiss-based, though familiarity with Swiss employment law and social insurance is an advantage. The company values a builder mentality - people who want to improve processes, not just maintain them. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Fully remote within Switzerland. Part-time 50% FTE with flexible hours. Direct collaboration with the global HR, payroll and compliance teams. Meaningful presence in Switzerland required (~50% benchmark) - remote-only offshore oversight does not meet regulatory requirements. WHAT WE OFFER Health insurance contributions. Share incentives. Learning and mentorship opportunities. Team offsites and social events. 4 weeks of work-from-anywhere per year. Other concurrent work or mandates are welcome.
