The team is scaling quickly as Anthropic grows. As a Risk & Insurance Specialist, you'll build operational excellence across contracts, claims, and day-to-day insurance operations, using AI and automation to streamline processes wherever you can. You'll work closely with Compute, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Security, Product and Payroll to spot emerging risks early, help structure global insurance programs, support our risk-financing strategy and drive loss prevention. This is a rare chance to insure one of the fastest-growing companies, where parts of the risk landscape are still being defined, and to help Anthropic pursue its mission boldly by keeping our operations resilient and protected. Key responsibilities Insurance review of contracts: Review insurance and indemnity requirements in customer, vendor, lease, and compute agreements, and advise Legal and business partners on compliant, practical positions. Insurance operations: Manage claims intake and tracking, certificates of insurance, broker coordination, and policy administration. Build a data warehouse / repository and repeatable processes as volume scales. Data gathering and reporting: Collect and maintain exposure data (property values, payroll, revenue, headcount, etc.) for renewals, audits, and underwriting submissions. Actuarial and quantitative analysis: Support limit-adequacy, loss, and retention analyses to inform program structure and decisions. Captive operations: Support captive formation and ongoing operations, including fronting and reinsurance coordination. Automation: Identify and implement ways to automate manual insurance workflows using AI and workflow tools. Cross-functional support: Partner with Compute, Finance, Legal, and Payroll on insurance questions across the business. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $180,000 — $230,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role As a Brand Insights, Measurement Lead at Anthropic, you will strengthen the evidence that fuels our brand decisions: knowing whether marketing spend and effort is working, saying so clearly on a schedule to the people who need to hear it. Marketing Insights turns market, campaign and user data into decisions that product, marketing, comms and sales leadership can act on. You'll tell us, with data, whether awareness is turning into consideration, whether consideration is turning into pipeline, and where that chain breaks down for a given audience. This role sits at the intersection of human understanding, marketing science discipline and organizational influence. In this role, you'll own the team's recurring measurement readouts, including the Prosumer and B2B brand health tracker studies and the metrics, headwinds and tailwinds that show up in front of business leadership and in all-hands updates, keeping them accurate, current and easy to act on. You'll partner closely with your Marketing Insights teammates, Comms and data science on the brand-health dashboard, Brand & Integrated Marketing leadership, brand data science, research vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders across Enterprise Marketing, product marketing and finance. Responsibilities Own the recurring executive and all-hands readouts that put key metrics, headwinds and tailwinds in front of marketing management and the broader team Lead process ownership of the Prosumer and B2B brand health tracker studies, including managing the research vendor relationships that field them Lead coordination across Comms, Marketing and data science on the brand-health dashboard, aligning all three groups on one consistent view of the data Support media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution and incrementality analyses that inform how marketing budget and effort get allocated, moving the team past correlation to a defensible read on what's actually driving outcomes Run best-practice pre- and post-campaign analysis on individual campaigns, covering creative, channel, audience, and timing effects, and turn each read into a specific change for the next campaign Roll up campaign-level learnings into a recurring view for leadership: which channels, creative approaches, and audiences are outperforming over time, and where the team should adjust the playbook next Build audience and funnel analyses that quantify how different audiences move, and relate to each other, from awareness through consideration to conversion, and what that means for where to invest Audit how customer sentiment gets reported across the business and design a more efficient, consistent process Manage the underlying data pipelines so that recurring readouts stay reliable and don't get rebuilt from scratch each cycle Partner with Marketing Insights teammates to keep measurement process and research design in sync, including feeding into the Marketing Business Review scorecard process Develop one defensible view from first-party behavioral data, campaign and media data, and survey or attitudinal research, being clear about what each source can and can't tell you on its own Present findings to non-technical audiences, including marketing leadership, enterprise sales and finance partners, translating hedged results into clear recommendations You may be a good fit if you Have a strategic orientation, strong curiosity for understanding what customers and users think and how to shift perceptions, and can use that to influence business and marketing direction Are fluent in SQL and Python or R, and move comfortably between a quick exploratory pull and a more rigorous statistical model Have designed or analyzed experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, lift tests) to establish a causal effect rather than settle for a correlation, and have applied regression, segmentation or other causal-inference methods to a real business question Have run campaign-level measurement end to end, from a pre/post read on a single campaign to synthesizing learnings across multiple campaigns into a change the team acts on next time Have built and maintained a recurring metrics report or dashboard that executives or cross-functional partners actually rely on, and kept it trustworthy over time Can turn a hedged, caveated finding into a clear recommendation a non-technical stakeholder can act on, and know which caveat matters enough to keep in the headline Start an analysis by pinning down the business question and the decision it needs to serve, not the method that's most interesting to run Can reconcile data with no universal taxonomy across first-party, third-party, real-time and survey sources Know when a directionally correct answer now beats a more rigorous one that arrives too late to matter Work well across functions, building credibility with both technical partners and non-technical leadership Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial Strong candidates may also have Experience with media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution or incrementality and lift testing specifically, rather than general-purpose analytics Experience advising marketing stakeholders on experimental design for live campaigns (email, paid social), or measuring marketing performance across multiple markets Familiarity with survey-based quantitative research (MaxDiff, conjoint, brand and sentiment tracking) alongside behavioral and usage data Experience with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery) and a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) Prior experience in marketing, growth or brand analytics specifically, rather than data science in a general or product context A graduate degree in statistics, economics or another quantitative field A career trajectory spanning BI and dashboarding, applied causal inference and experimental design, and multi-market marketing measurement The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $255,000 — $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. From Fivetran's founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We're proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven. About Us Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites. About the Role Fivetran and dbt Labs are now one company. Together we build the data movement and transformation tools that data teams around the world rely on. Our Analytics team runs on those same tools every day, so you'll work on a modern data stack and help set best practices for the industry. As a Senior Product Analyst, you'll help product leaders understand how customers adopt, use, and stay with our core Fivetran data movement and dbt platform products as well as new product releases spanning AI, BI, and compute. You'll be a "full-stack" analyst. You'll build the data models, define the metrics, create the dashboards, run the analysis, and turn it all into recommendations that shape what we build next. AI is part of how we work. We expect analysts to use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate analysis and increase efficiency, while applying their own judgment and validating the results. This is a full-time, flexible hybrid position based in Oakland, CA. Our hybrid work model offers remote flexibility and in-person collaboration; there is no fixed number of required office days, and we encourage teams to meet in person regularly. Why This Role Is Exciting Two product portfolios just came together. Many questions about how customers use Fivetran and dbt together have never been asked. You'll be one of the first people to answer them. Your work drives leadership decisions. You'll focus on adoption, engagement, and retention, the metrics product leaders use to decide where to invest. You own the work end to end, from raw data to the decision it informs. You'll analyze products built for people like you. Our customers are data teams. Technologies You'll Use SQL (BigQuery / Snowflake) dbt / dbt State Looker / LookML / Omni Hex / Sigma / Google Sheets Claude Code / Codex What You'll Do Partner with product managers and product line leaders to understand problems and potential solutions with data. Deliver regular analysis and insight on product adoption, engagement, and retention. Proactively investigate trends in user behavior and product usage. Find issues and growth opportunities before anyone asks, and use them to shape product and growth strategy. Define, measure, and monitor the KPIs that show whether our products are healthy and whether the company is on track. Size the potential impact of new product initiatives and recommend how to prioritize them. Analyze product launches and experiments, and recommend what to do next. Find and reduce friction in the funnels users go through to sign up, activate, and adopt our products. Tackle questions where product data meets broader business data, such as revenue, sales, and support. Build and maintain the data models, metrics, and dashboards behind your work. Help new hires, colleagues, and partners understand our data and use it well, so data-informed decisions become the norm. Skills We're Looking For 5+ years in analytics, mostly in product analytics, ideally at a high-growth B2B or SaaS company. Advanced SQL. You can turn messy, raw data into clean, trustworthy datasets, and write, debug, and explain SQL yourself. Comfort using AI tools in analytics workflows to explore data, draft or improve SQL, automate repetitive work, and synthesize findings. You can evaluate and validate AI-generated output. Hands-on experience building data models, ideally with dbt, creating dashboards in a BI tool such as Looker, Omni, or Tableau, and performing funnel, cohort, and segmentation analysis. A track record of using analysis to drive product or business decisions, not just report on them. You can take an open-ended question with little direction and turn it into a clear analysis and recommendation. Strong attention to detail and prioritization. Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain findings to executives and technical tradeoffs to engineers. Experience influencing cross-functional, distributed teams, both asynchronously and in real time. Bonus Skills Experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B/n tests), including test design, sample size, significance, and turning results into launch decisions. Deep knowledge of the SaaS customer lifecycle and business metrics, such as ARR (annual recurring revenue), retention, and expansion. Experience defining product events and helping teams self-serve in product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Heap. Experience developing and scaling a large dbt project. Python or R for analysis. #LI-DJ1 #LI-Hybrid The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role. About the role Chime's Data Science & Machine Learning team builds the models, services, and platforms behind how millions of members manage and grow their financial lives. We're hiring a Staff AI/ML Engineer on our Lending and Cashflow team to lead the modeling behind cash flow underwriting and surface member insight: using members' transaction and deposit data to make fair, accurate credit decisions for people that traditional credit scores often miss. In this role, you'll build and deploy machine learning systems on some of the richest transactional and behavioral data in fintech, turning it into the credit decisions behind products like MyPay, Instant Loans, and SpotMe. This is a highly applied role: you'll own problems end to end, from framing the question through to a model running in production and moving a metric that matters, and you'll set the technical direction for how Chime underwrites with cash flow data. In this role, you can expect to Lead the design, training, and deployment of deep learning and classical ML underwriting models that turn members' transaction and cash flow data into credit decisions, from approval and line assignment to loss forecasting Take models from problem framing through to production — training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration — and stay accountable for how they behave once they're live Design and improve the systems around the model: feature pipelines, batch and real-time inference, monitoring, and retraining Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Risk to turn ambiguous business problems into ML solutions, and to make sure the solution is the right one Connect model performance to member outcomes and business metrics, and use experimentation to prove impact Set the technical roadmap for Lending ML and raise the bar across the team through design reviews, mentorship, and shared standards for model development, validation, and governance Help identify where AI/ML creates measurable impact for members — and where a simpler answer is the better one To thrive in this role, you have A track record of leading the design and deployment of deep learning models in production, including multi-quarter initiatives that span teams, with a solid grasp of architecture choice, training dynamics, and evaluation, and the judgment to make model design choices Solid machine learning fundamentals: classical modeling, evaluation design, and knowing which metric actually answers the question in front of you Hands-on experience across the end-to-end ML lifecycle — training, experimentation, optimization, deployment, and monitoring Comfort with messy real-world data, including label definition, leakage, class imbalance, and train/serve skew Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and distributed compute such as Spark or PySpark Working knowledge of modern ML infrastructure — AWS and tools such as SageMaker, Airflow, Kafka, Redis, and Snowflake — and an MLOps mindset for keeping production systems healthy The ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, influence technical direction beyond your own team, and explain model decisions clearly to engineers, risk partners, and senior leaders Nice-to-have Experience in either of these is a plus: Credit or underwriting models, and familiarity with model governance, explainability, and fairness requirements, such as adverse action reason codes and fair lending testing Cash flow or alternative-data underwriting: building credit features from bank transaction data, such as income and expense detection, balance trends, and transaction categorization Deployed transformer models in production #LI-Onsite #LI-DA1 Below is the base salary offered for this role and level of experience. Full-time employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), competitive equity, and benefits. For commissioned roles, the base salary listed in this job description does not include incentive/variable pay. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
