FP&A Manager
VOLTALondon, UK36 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid$90,000 - $90,000 / Year
goprocurementfinancial modelingfp&aforecastingvariance analysis+14

About Volta Volta is the category-defining, fully vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform – from capital to clusters to software, under a founder-led enterprise. Our mission is The Utility of Compute™: AI infrastructure as dependable and available as electricity, for every organization that needs it. Launched with a $10B strategic partnership with one of the leading frontier AI labs, a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund, Volta is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era from the ground up. We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds. About The Role We are making our first dedicated FP&A hire: an FP&A Manager to own short-range forecasting, variance analysis, and accounting-grounded financial modeling across a multi-entity, multi-currency group, operating at both corporate and SPV level. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, this is a hands-on, builder role: you will design the forecasting and reporting cadence from scratch, in an environment where capital deployment is large, fast, and lumpy — data center build-outs, GPU procurement, colocation deployments, and project financing. This is not a classic long-range planning seat. The emphasis is on near-term accuracy: rolling 13-week cash forecasting, in-quarter and quarterly reforecasts, burn management, and models that reconcile cleanly to the general ledger and to US GAAP accounting positions. What You Will Be Doing Own the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast across all group entities and currencies (GBP, USD, EUR, NOK), including AP outflows, payroll, project payments, and intercompany funding Run a monthly and quarterly P&L reforecast cycle covering opex, capex, headcount, and cash runway, with clear bridges to the prior forecast Produce consolidated cash and burn reporting for the VP of Accounting, CFO, board, and investors, and manage runway scenarios against the funding plan Deliver monthly actuals-vs-forecast and actuals-vs-budget variance analysis at entity, department, and project level, with root-cause commentary Track project-level cost variances on data center deployments against approved budgets and purchase commitments Build and maintain the group's operating and financial model on a US GAAP basis, consistent with the group's technical accounting positions (capitalization policy, ASC 842 lease accounting, project-finance debt, share-based compensation) Model the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow impacts of major transactions: site acquisitions, colocation and lease commitments, GPU financing, debt drawdowns, and equity events Establish variance thresholds, escalation routes, and reporting formats that will stand up as SOX-adjacent management review controls Define the FP&A calendar, templates, and data model, and contribute to ERP design during the NetSuite implementation What You Bring Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or equivalent depth in US GAAP-based modeling — this role requires genuine accounting fluency, not just spreadsheet fluency 5+ years in FP&A, with demonstrable ownership of short-range cash forecasting and variance analysis in a capital-intensive or high-burn environment Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency groups; comfort with intercompany flows and FX in forecasting Strong grasp of accrual accounting mechanics: able to build a three-statement model that ties to the trial balance and explain timing versus rate versus volume variances Advanced Excel; experience with leading ERPs is strongly preferred Comfort with ambiguity and zero-to-one process building; you write clearly and present numbers that go to the board without rework Nice to Have Data center, infrastructure, energy, or other project-finance-heavy sector experience Exposure to SOX 404 environments or IPO/listing readiness Familiarity with ASC 842, ASC 718, or capitalization of infrastructure assets Experience forecasting in pre-revenue or early-revenue companies REQ-9 What We Offer At Volta, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to grow. We're building a company where you can make an impact, keep a healthy balance between work and life, and build a career you're proud of. As a global team, we do our best to provide great benefits wherever you're based. While some benefits vary by country due to local regulations, we believe looking after our people is simply the right thing to do. Competitive salary based on the work you do here, not your previous salary Equity in Volta, giving you the opportunity to share in the company's long-term success Retirement/pension contributions Comprehensive health, wellbeing and insurance benefits Generous number of vacation days each year Additional Information Background Checks All offers of employment at Volta are conditional on the satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening, which includes confirmation of your right to work, verification of your employment history and a criminal record check, where this is permitted by local law. Screening is carried out by Zinc, an accredited third-party provider, after an offer is made and all information is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection law. Finance Business Partner - Project Controllership
Full TimeOn-siteMid$85,000 - $85,000 / Year
procurementfp&aforecastingvariance analysiscpaacca+13

About The Role The Finance Business Partner will be embedded within the Project Controllership Organization, acting as the finance owner for large, long-duration capital projects from initial commitment through to completion and transfer to operations. You will bring rigorous project and cost accounting to the delivery teams: owning capex and cost accounting for your projects, building and maintaining project cost structures, tracking budgets, commitments and actuals, reporting variances with insight, and ensuring each project is accounted for accurately under US GAAP and closed out cleanly at completion. This is a hands-on role that pairs technical accounting depth with genuine business partnering - you will sit alongside project directors, engineers and procurement, not apart from them. What You Will Be Doing Project and capex accounting Capex accounting: own end-to-end accounting for assigned capital projects, including construction in progress (CIP/AUC), capitalization assessments under US GAAP (ASC 360), componentization, capitalized interest where applicable (ASC 835-20), and transfer to fixed assets on completion with correct in-service dates and useful lives. Compute and equipment capex: own the accounting for high-value compute and network equipment (GPU fleets and associated infrastructure), including vendor purchase order and financing payment tracking, delivery acceptance and in-service dating, componentization and useful lives, residual value support, and lessor accounting for intra-group equipment leases (ASC 842). Cost accounting: maintain accurate, complete and well-classified project cost records - distinguishing capital from operating expenditure, applying the capitalization policy consistently, and ensuring costs land in the correct entity, project, site and cost category. Project costing: build and own project cost breakdown structures (WBS/cost codes) aligned to contracts, procurement packages and the accounting dimension framework; establish cost baselines and estimates-at-completion (EAC) and keep them current. Accruals and commitments: run monthly cost accruals from contractor applications for payment, certifications and goods receipts; maintain the committed cost position (POs, contracts, change orders) and reconcile committed, accrued and actual spend. Month-end close: deliver project close activities to the group timetable - CIP reconciliations, accrual journals, retention and milestone payment tracking, and balance sheet substantiation for project-related accounts. Reporting, variance analysis and forecasting Variance reporting: produce monthly project cost reports comparing actuals and EAC against budget and prior forecast; explain variances with root-cause commentary and work with project teams on corrective actions. Forecasting: partner with FP&A and Strategic Finance on capex cashflow forecasting, phasing of spend, and funding drawdown planning for your projects. Provide current capex phasing and estimate-at-completion data into Strategic Finance's monthly business plan refresh. Board and investor reporting: contribute project cost and progress data to board packs, lender/investor reporting and management information, ensuring one version of the truth between delivery and finance. Work within, and help build, the group project reporting framework. Balance sheet visibility: own the project-related balance sheet - CIP, retentions, VAT recoverable, prepayments and committed spend - and feed these positions into the group management balance sheet dashboard on an automated, near-real-time basis. Project lifecycle and business partnering Cradle to completion: support projects through their full lifecycle - business case and budget setting, contract award, execution, change management, practical completion, final account settlement, and financial close-out including release of retentions and accrual true-ups. Change control: evaluate the cost and accounting impact of scope changes, change orders and claims; ensure changes are approved, coded and forecast before costs are incurred. Business partnering: act as the trusted finance counterpart to project directors, construction managers, procurement and engineering; challenge constructively, translate financial data into decisions, and embed cost discipline in delivery teams. Contract and procurement support: work with procurement and legal on the financial aspects of construction and equipment contracts (payment mechanisms, milestones, retentions, bonds, liquidated damages) and ensure compliance with the Group Procurement Policy and PO controls. Controls, policy and audit Controls: operate and help design internal controls over project costs, capitalization and payments as part of the group's SOX 404 readiness program, including preparing clear documentation and audit evidence. Policy: apply and help refine group accounting policies (capitalization, PP&E, procurement) and prepare technical accounting analysis for project-specific matters, escalating judgmental issues with well-structured recommendations. Audit: act as the primary project-accounting contact for external audit on assigned projects, preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting evidence. Anything else that makes sense: as an early hire in a fast-scaling finance function, contribute to systems implementation (ERP selection ongoing), process design, and whatever else is needed to build best-in-class project controllership. What You Bring Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience. Demonstrable experience of project accounting for large, long-term capital projects - for example data centers, energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction or industrial facilities - covering the full project lifecycle. Deep, practical knowledge of capex and cost accounting: CIP/AUC, capitalization criteria, componentization, accruals from contractor valuations, retentions, and asset transfer at completion. Experience building and managing project cost structures (WBS/cost coding), budgets, committed cost tracking and estimates-at-completion. Strong variance analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to explain cost movements clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Proven business partnering experience embedded with, or working closely alongside, project delivery teams. Advanced Excel and strong data and dashboarding skills, with an automation-first mindset; comfortable working from imperfect data in a scaling environment. Nice To Have US GAAP experience (ASC 360 fixed assets, ASC 835-20 capitalized interest, ASC 842 leases as they touch project sites). Experience in a SOX-regulated or IPO-readiness environment, or supporting external audits of major capital projects. Exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency structures and cross-border projects. Nordic experience - local statutory reporting alongside US GAAP, and VAT on construction and imports. Experience accounting for high-value technology or compute equipment (GPU, network or telecoms assets), including intra-group equipment leasing. Familiarity with project controls disciplines (cost engineering, earned value, contract administration) and construction contract forms. Experience of ERP and project accounting systems implementation. REQ-156 What We Offer At Volta, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to grow. dentalaccountingproduct designuser researchusability testingcrm+2

Location: Remote, US-based Team: Product & Design — IRL Type: Full-Time, Employee Compensation: $100K–$129K base Target Start: January 2027 or earlier Our Story At Endear, we're building the modern CRM for retail teams — starting with the frontline. Our software helps retail teams build stronger customer relationships through thoughtful, intuitive technology. From clienteling and customer capture to appointments and in-store experiences, Endear gives brands the tools they need to create more personal interactions and drive measurable growth. We work with brands like Allbirds, Reformation, and Alo Yoga, and we're continuing to evolve Endear into an increasingly AI-first product built around how modern retail teams actually work. Position Overview We're looking for a Product Designer to join our IRL (in real life) team, which owns the in-store side of Endear — including appointments, events, customer check-ins, and the administrative experiences behind those workflows. You'll design for store associates and managers running clienteling day to day, as well as admin users who help shape how those teams operate and manage their workflows. In this role, you'll own features and projects from understanding the problem through research, testing, iteration, and production-ready design, while partnering closely with our Head of Product Design on vision and direction. The IRL roadmap is early. Many of these features don't exist yet, so you'll be defining problems through research before designing solutions. Founding Operations & Systems Lead
Full TimeOn-siteLead$70,000 - $70,000 / Year
sqlmental healthconcretepipingtaxexcel+5

Odin is building the investment infrastructure for the future of private markets. We believe capital is one of the most powerful tools for shaping the world - and more people should know how to put it to work. Our mission is to make it radically easier to raise and deploy capital, so that anyone, anywhere, can back the companies and ideas they believe in. Our first product is a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms, allowing you to run everything from your phone - think Shopify for VC and PE. We handle all the infrastructure: from legal structuring and investor onboarding to KYC/AML, payments, tax, reporting, and exits. We're already trusted by over 10,000 angels, VCs, and founders. We administer over $750m in assets, covering investments from pre-seed to series E. This includes household names like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, SpaceX, xAI, Anduril, etc. but also new companies creating everything from synthetic brains to small nuclear reactors. Why we're hiring We are automating a decades old part of the financial services industry. AI pilled operators like you are the beating heart of this plan, because LLMs & agents allow us to turn this services business entirely into software. We're post-PMF, fast-growing, and rolling out new products (fund admin) & geographies (USA). Customer & deal volume is climbing fast. Today we're on track for roughly 700 deals a year, with a team of ~20, and we'll process $500m-$750m of investment in 2026 alone. The next goal is 7,000 deals a year and billions in annual investment flows. We believe this can be achieved with a team of around 50 people. But it will only be possible if we turn human-driven services workflows into software. The operational machine behind Odin is still held together in many places by people and spreadsheets. Your job is to come in, understand every process and system, simplify, streamline and automate the shit out of it. You'll be part of a small elite team embedded in operations and working closely with existing team members to build agents that automate work. We expect the right hire to be spending more time in Claude Code than in Excel, email or anything else. What you'll own Deal Execution: Getting investments from idea to closed as fast as possible for the fund managers and deal sponsors who run their businesses on Odin. Automation: You'll work alongside the deal operations team, with a standing instruction to automate their work. You'll bring product/design/engineering into the things that genuinely need significant engineering work, but you'll mainly work autonomously without them. Before it gets to them you've already made the process as simple and fast as possible, and usually vibe coded something that works well but perhaps needs to be stabilised / scaled. Deleting things and saying no: You decide what belongs in our processes and what doesn't. If a request from sales doesn't scale and isn't highly profitable we don't do it. If a way of working exists for no good reason, you kill it. What we're looking for AI-pilled builder: Clear evidence, at work or in your own time, that you've built concrete solutions to problems with no budget and no engineers. No-code tooling, scripts, spreadsheets, vibe-coded apps and more. Numerate: Comfortable with financial mechanics, strong mental arithmetic. You'll be working on automating a lot of numerical matters - carry, allocations, fee calculations, distributions, and the edge cases that make all of them interesting. In the details and extremely on top of things: You understand every single aspect of our systems end to end. You close loops, you chase, you push hard to get things done. First principles thinker: Although you're in the details and on top of execution, you also zoom out. You look at any process the way a good product manager looks at a product: What's the job? Why are we doing this at all? What's the smallest, simplest system that achieves the goal? A lot of what happens in fund admin is inherited convention, an industry "given", or a constraint of some third party. You should find it physically difficult to accept any of that. Big plus: regulated financial services background: Fund administration, custody, payments, brokerage, audit, tax or another back office function. Useful, but not required. SQL, serious Excel and other experience piping data between systems are all worth having too. However, we care much more about the traits you have and things you can build than specific skills or experience on your CV. If you're a few years into your career and you've already automated the shit out of your last job or built something incredible with AI, we want to talk to you. You want to operate, not manage: Odin is not a place for middle management. We all get shit done, regardless of title or seniority How we work There are five things we care about deeply: Reason from the ground up: Seek to understand what is true by always asking why. Do not trust convention or experts. Speed begets speed: We work fast. Speed compounds, it's the best form of defensibility, and it's energising to be around. If you work slowly, or tolerate slow work around you, you do not belong at Odin. Take ownership: Do not wait for permission to do things. Find the answer, force the thing into existence and hold others to an extremely high standard - the same standard you hold yourself to. Brutal honesty: If work doesn't meet the bar, people need to hear it, and the right people want to. Truly excellent customer service: Be a stickler for detail in every single interaction a customer has with us, and always strive to make this experience better, smoother, faster. This role is probably not for you if You'd rather build product than operate. Product instinct is required in this role, but a product management career is not what this is; You prefer close management of your responsibilities; You are risk-averse; You want a 9-5; You take yourself too seriously; You care about working for a company that's raised lots of money rather than one that's extremely capital efficient and focused on building a profitable giant that has a positive economic impact Salary £70k - £90k base, plus a meaningful equity grant. We're flexible on the mix of cash and equity. Hiring process Three stages, usually inside two weeks, with detailed feedback within 24 hours of each one. Location & ways of working We're a London-based team. This role works closely with the founders, product and the wider ops team, and the speed we run at makes that much easier in-person. At least three days a week in the office. Benefits Health: Private health insurance (Vitality), paid sick leave including support for pregnancy loss and fertility treatments, and access to Spill for mental health support Wellness: £1,000 annual budget for health, therapy or fitness Parental Leave: Enhanced maternity, adoption, paternity and partner leave Pension: 4% employer contribution with salary sacrifice options Time Off: 25 days annual leave, 2 wellness days and flexible bank holidays (33 days total) Work From Anywhere: Up to 6 weeks per year working from anywhere globally Birthday Leave: An additional day of leave Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

Data Architect
Unity AdvisoryLondon, Mayfair36 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid
pythonawsazureci/cdsqlsnowflake+12

About Unity Advisory Unity Advisory is a pure-play, experience-led CFO advisory firm providing integrated finance, commercial, tax and deals support. We are free from audit conflicts and AI-enabled by design, combining deep technical expertise with automation, analytics and AI built into the delivery of every engagement. We are building an alternative to traditional advisory firms, focused on clarity over complexity, outcomes over hours, and practical advice delivered at pace for CFOs making high-consequence decisions. The Role We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to own data design across our advisory engagements. This is a platform and design-authority role with a hands-on edge, combining finance-focused business understanding with modern data architecture, platforms and governance. You will define how data - across a client's business - is structured, governed, and served so that AI, analytics, and management reporting are reliable and scalable. As a Senior Manager, you will lead architecture decisions, guide engineers, shape client data strategy, architecture, governance, and be accountable for the coherence and quality of the data estate you design. This is a client-facing role within our AI Advisory team, setting the data architecture that our engagements — and our clients' AI ambitions — are built on. Key Responsibilities Define target-state data architectures for clients — models, storage, pipelines, and access patterns — balancing rigour with delivery realism. Establish data modelling standards and curated domain layers across the a variety of systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, Manufacturing) and data sources, with end-to-end lineage and provenance sufficient for audit and controls. Map and integrate finance source systems (ERP, EPM, sub-ledgers, and consolidation tools) into governed, analytics-ready models. Design the finance data foundations for applied AI/ML: governed retrieval sources for RAG, feature stores, and the architecture that keeps AI systems fed with trustworthy, reconciled finance data. Set patterns for secure, compliant finance data platforms — access control, data sensitivity, segregation of duties, isolation, and alignment to standards such as ISO 27001. Provide architectural direction for cloud data platforms, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability, ensuring designs are cost-aware and operable. Define the data lineage and controls that support responsible production AI — monitoring, confidence scoring, and human-in-the-loop review. Translate ambiguous business and client problems into clear architectural decisions and scoped roadmaps under delivery pressure. Own key technical trade-offs and communicate them clearly to engineers, product stakeholders, and senior client sponsors. Mentor data engineers, raise the technical bar across the team, and contribute reusable patterns, reference architectures, and accelerators. What We're Looking For Essential Significant experience designing and delivering data architectures for production systems, with evidence that your designs have shipped and run - not remained on paper. Deep expertise in data modelling, warehouse/lakehouse design, and data governance. Hands-on background in SQL and Python, and fluency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure) and modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks). System-level judgement on how data architecture shapes AI outcomes: designing governed sources for RAG, structuring data for retrieval and orchestration, and deciding where structured outputs and tool use fit. Ability to set standards and lead engineers while remaining close to implementation. Strong stakeholder skills, including engaging senior client sponsors and explaining architectural trade-offs clearly. Strong Preference Experience architecting the data layer behind AI or analytics products in production. Informed views on the trade-offs between fine-tuning, RAG, and long-context approaches, and how each changes data architecture requirements, including context window economics and prompt caching. Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability for data platforms. Awareness of MCP and tool-orchestration concepts and their implications for composable, data-driven AI systems. Fluent use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor), with a clear view of where they help and where human design judgement must lead. Security and compliance experience (e.g. ISO 27001 alignment, access control design). Consulting or advisory background, owning problems end-to-end rather than a single workstream. Nice to Have Evidence of self-directed building — side projects, internal tools, or startups. Exposure to finance data, PE/M&A, or portfolio-company environments. Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure architect-level credentials). Additional Information At Unity Advisory, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment process. In line with the Equality Act 2010, we will accommodate any suitable candidate requiring assistance to attend or conduct an interview. If you need any adjustments or support, please let us know when scheduling your interview or in your application cover letter. We are dedicated to ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed and are here to support you throughout the process. PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept unsolicited CVs from third-party agencies. Engineering Director
OmneaLondon, Germany36 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteDirector
typescriptrreactawsmongodbrest+7

Our Mission At Omnea, we're reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails , and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved. We've raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility. The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it . We've 10x'd ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We're now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for. Our team previously scaled Tessian ( cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel , acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who've grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You'll work alongside leaders like Ben , Abs , Sabrina , and Rebe . Find out more about the team and life at Omnea here . What we're looking for We're looking for an ambitious and talented Director of Engineering to join Omnea, the UK's #1 Startup in 2026 , as a senior member of our Engineering leadership team. You'll report directly to our CTO, Dhruv Kumar , who joined us from Voy and has scaled engineering organizations at Hopin, Charlotte Tilbury, and THG. This is a manager-of-managers role. You'll lead a group of Engineering Managers and Team Leads: 25-50 engineers across several teams. You'll own the outcomes, org design, and technical direction of a significant slice of the product. As we grow from tens to hundreds of enterprise customers and through 10x revenue growth in the next 2-3 years, you'll play a crucial role in building the best Engineering function in its category. You'll operate with high autonomy, partnering with the CTO, Product leadership, and your peers across R&D to turn strategy into shipped software. What you'll do Build and lead the leaders: Hire, coach, and develop Engineering Managers and Team Leads. Your primary output is their effectiveness, not your own. Set and hold a high performance bar across the group, including the harder calls on performance and leveling. Own org design for your area: how teams are shaped, sized, and split as the product and company grow. Build the bench: identify and grow the next generation of engineering leaders at Omnea. Own the headcount plan for your group, from business case through to hiring. Own delivery at group scale: Be accountable for the outcomes of several teams at once, not the output of any one of them. Create the operating rhythm (planning, prioritization, and reporting) that keeps a multi-team group moving quickly and predictably. Unblock at the seams: the cross-team dependencies, ambiguous ownership, and architectural decisions that no single team can resolve. Ensure robust monitoring, observability, and incident response across your area. Shape technical and product strategy: Partner with the CTO and Product leadership to define and execute the technical roadmap for your domain. Make the build/buy, architecture, and technical investment calls that shape the platform for years, and bring the rest of R&D with you. Balance technical debt, feature development, and reliability, and be able to defend those trade-offs to the exec team. Ensure customer feedback drives technical priorities, including direct time with enterprise customers. Teams and products you might end up working on: Accounting and Goods Receipting – ensuring procurement and finance teams have the right information and tools to operate accurately, automatically, and at scale. Insights and Reporting – deep, complex custom visualizations bringing together AI and data to surface meaningful insights and context across the platform. Sourcing – building the tools that find the right suppliers, shape the right deals, and make sure the best option is already in play before a request is even created. Workflow Orchestration – the configurable backbone of our systems that accurately model company operations, underpinning a single source of truth. And many more areas we're actively starting or expanding upon! About You Leadership Experience: You have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership. You have 2+ years managing managers, having hired, coached, and where necessary, performance-managed Engineering Managers or Team Leads. You've led a group of 25-50 engineers across multiple teams and owned the org design for it. You've demonstrated success in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, particularly in rapid-growth periods. Ideally, you've done this at more than one company, including at least one successful Series A+ B2B SaaS company. Technical Excellence: Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern web technologies. Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (preferably AWS), and scalability challenges. Experience with our stack (TypeScript, React, AWS Serverless) is a plus, but not required. Track Record of Impact: Strong track record of delivering complex, multi-team programs that moved company outcomes: product adoption, revenue, and customer retention. Proven history of improving team velocity and quality at the group level, not just within a single team. Experience scaling an engineering organization through a period of rapid growth and adapting the structure as it grew. Experience implementing engineering processes that scale effectively at pace. Experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating their needs into technical solutions. Leadership Style: You're data-driven but know when to trust intuition. You're comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, and owning them when they don't land. You excel at influence without authority, across Product, Design, GTM, and the exec team. You have a track record of growing and developing engineering leaders, as well as engineers at all levels (Senior, Staff, Principal). You stay close enough to the technology to be credible with senior engineers without taking the work off them. Nice to haves that really stand out to us: Track record of successful product launches in B2B SaaS. Experience with procurement/finance systems. History of contributions to engineering communities. You can learn more about Engineering at Omnea and our hiring process via our R&D Candidate Hub here . At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out. A few things to note: We offer competitive geo-localised benefits, and you can check out our UK Benefits Package here and our US Benefits Package here . We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices. We are proud to be recognised for both our culture and product, and we are just getting started. Join us as we grow!
