Our Mission: Omnea is the agentic operating system for procurement. Procurement touches every pound a business spends, yet requests still stall for weeks and approvals get lost in inboxes. Our AI-first platform changes that: our agents capture requests, route approvals, onboard suppliers, flag risk and track every renewal, while anyone in the business can ask a question and get an answer grounded in their own company's data. Buying becomes painless for everyone, procurement gets a seat at the table, and our customers have saved more than 100,000 hours of manual work so far. Companies like Spotify, PayPal, T. Rowe Price, JustEat, Adyen and S&P Global run procurement on Omnea. We're backed by $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners and Accel, and we've been named the UK's number one startup in the Startups 100, ranked 11th on Sifted's 2026 list of Europe's fastest-growing companies, and recognised as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies. Talent density matters more to us than almost anything else. We keep the bar high in every team, so everyone here has real ownership and real impact. Our team is full of former founders and operators who've scaled unicorns, and we're looking for people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside them. Find out more about the team and life at Omnea here . What We're Looking For We're looking for highly technical engineers who want to lead and manage one of our engineering teams. It took over 10,000 interviews to hire our first 50 Omneans, and we're now growing from 11 to more than 14 engineering teams in the coming months. Over the next year, our engineering team will double in size, our enterprise customer base will grow from ~180 to 300+, and revenue will triple. As a Team Lead Manager, you'll lead a small team of engineers. You'll set its technical direction, line-manage and grow the people in it, and stay hands-on in the code. This is not a hands-off management role: our teams are small, and you'll be one of the strongest engineers on yours. You'll partner closely with a Product Manager and Product Designer to decide what to build, and you'll be accountable for how well it's built and how fast it ships. If you're a strong Tech Lead who hasn't managed people yet, we'd still love to hear from you. You can start as a Team Lead, with management handled by an Engineering Manager, and grow into the full role with our support. What Can You Expect As a Team Lead Manager? Lead and Manage a Small Team. Line-manage the engineers on your team, run 1:1s, give feedback, and help them take on bigger problems. Stay Deeply Technical. You'll still build. Expect to spend a meaningful share of your time writing code, reviewing PRs, and unblocking the hardest technical problems. AI-Native Development. AI is core to how we build. Engineers use Claude, Code, and agentic workflows every day, and our product is built on AI agents that automate complex procurement workflows. You'll set the bar for how your team uses them. Customers at the Center. Talk directly with customers to understand their problems, and make sure your team builds things that create real value for them. Own Technical Direction. Make the architecture and design calls for your team's problem space, and own the trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability. Work with Modern Technology. TypeScript across the stack, React, Postgres, and AWS serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge), managed through Pulumi and deployed via GitHub Actions. Datadog, Meticulous, and Incident.io round it out. Shape the Roadmap. Work with your PM and Designer on prioritisation, scoping, and sequencing so the team ships what matters most. Build the Team. Interview, hire, and onboard new engineers as we double in size. About You You're a highly technical full-stack engineer. You've designed and shipped web apps end to end in TypeScript, ideally on AWS serverless, and you're still one of the strongest engineers in the room. You've led engineers. You've been a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or TLM, owning delivery and technical direction for a team. You want to manage people, or grow into it. Ideally, you've line-managed engineers already. If not, you're keen to learn. You still love to build. Leading hasn't pulled you away from the code, and you want a role where you keep shipping. You raise the bar. You know what well-architected, reliable software looks like, and you help others get there through reviews, pairing, and clear feedback. You're motivated by customer impact. You care about outcomes for customers, not just output, and you make good calls on what to build and what to cut. You're a strong partner. You work well with product and design, push back when it matters, and bring people with you. You're comfortable with ambiguity. You can take an unclear problem, shape it, and get a team moving on it. Nice-to-Haves You've led a team through fast growth, ideally at a scale-up where the team and product changed quickly. You've built B2B or enterprise SaaS, with complex workflows and demanding customers. You've performed exceptionally at something else, be it academics, sport, or work. Interview Process Before applying, we strongly encourage you to spend a few minutes in our R&D Candidate Hub. WHO WE ARE Proxima Fusion is Europe's fastest-growing fusion company and the continent's best-funded fusion player, as well as the first spin-out from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP). Backed by over €650M and powered by a growing team across Munich, Zurich, and Oxford, we are developing the hardware and infrastructure needed to deliver the world's first commercial stellarator fusion power plant. Our concept advances the most mature fusion technology out there, the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator, through two next-generation machines: Alpha and Stellaris. Our work combines stellarator optimization, advanced computation, machine learning, and high-temperature superconducting magnets to unlock higher-performance designs that were previously out of reach. Turning these designs into a functioning fusion power plant requires excellence and ownership across every discipline, from physics and engineering to software, manufacturing, law, and business functions. WHY JOIN US Work on a civilisation-scale problem - Clean, baseload fusion energy is one of the few genuinely world-changing challenges, and every hire directly accelerates the path to a working stellarator. Grow as fast as the company does - With headcount set to roughly 5x in a few years and major technical milestones ahead on the path to our demo machine and first power plant, your role grows under you; today's hire is tomorrow's function lead. Tackle problems that don't exist elsewhere - Fusion sits at a rare intersection of deep-tech R&D, industrial procurement, government relations, and venture financing, so non-tech functions face challenges no other workplace can offer. YOUR IMPACT As our Senior Security Engineer in Munich, you will own security implementation and security monitoring, digital and physical, for a company building one of the most valuable bodies of fusion IP in Europe. Protecting it is its own challenge, and you are the person who will own it. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Build out our security monitoring capability: select and run the SIEM, decide what's worth alerting on, and tune out the noise. • Own incident response end-to-end, from investigation through to a post-mortem and a fix that holds. • Harden the environment hands-on across endpoint and EDR, identity and access, network, and infrastructure. • Finish maturing Zero Trust: identity and device posture as joint conditions for access, and MFA everywhere. • Handle the long tail of edge cases that comes with a fast-growing team and a lot of contractors. • Secure our Google-centric workplace, where most of our IP moves — DLP, data classification and labeling, retention, and context-aware access. • Secure the software supply chain in collaboration with our platform team: source control, access boundaries, secrets, and CI/CD. • Run vulnerability and attack surface management, and drive remediation to be done with the teams that own the systems. • Set and monitor our physical security standard with Business Operations, who implement it on site: access zones, CCTV and alerting, visitor and contractor access, and site access as one joiner-mover-leaver process with digital access, across multiple locations. • Give our compliance work the technical substance it needs: evidence, remediation, and support through audits and pen tests. WHO YOU ARE Must have • You have 5+ years hands-on in security engineering, with real depth in identity, endpoint, and infrastructure. • You have built or substantially operated a SIEM, and run real incidents end-to-end. • You have implemented Zero Trust in production - unified IdP and MDM, conditional access, device posture. • You know Google Workspace Enterprise security well, or can get there fast from an equivalent platform. • You are automation-first: Terraform, and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are no strangers to you. • You are fluent in CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, and NIS2 without being ruled by them. • You can turn a technical finding into a business impact and actionable solutions Nice to have • Interest or a track record in AI security. • Hands-on cloud and container security: GCP, containers, Kubernetes. • Certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CCSP, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer. • Experience in a regulated, export-controlled, or high-security environment, where physical and digital security meet. INTERVIEW PROCESS Recruiter Interview (30-60 min) Technical Screening (30 min) Technical Panel (3x60 min) CEO call (30 min) This role sits at L2/L3 of our framework, please inquire during the recruitment process for further information At Proxima Fusion, our mission is bold: making limitless clean energy a reality. To get there, we need a high-performing, diverse team that brings different perspectives, challenges assumptions, and builds together with purpose. We know that diversity of thought and experience leads to better ideas, stronger execution, and a more resilient team. We don't look at how you identify, what you look like, who you choose to worship or what ethnicity you are. We care about what you can bring to the table. Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

ABOUT QUINCE Quince is a destination for builders, creators, innovators, and operators who want to come together and challenge the status quo. Our mission is simple: make really high quality essentials for really low prices, fairly and sustainably. We deliver on that mission through a unique manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) model eliminating the layers of traditional retail that add cost and result in consumers paying more than they need to. We find, build relationships with, and work directly with the manufacturing partners behind some of the world's finest products. From there, our teams design smart, efficient operational processes and build and deploy proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to help us scale fast. What began with a small assortment of elevated basics has quickly grown into a cross-category brand spanning apparel, accessories, home goods, and more. Today, tens of millions of people across a growing number of countries come – and return – to Quince because they trust us to deliver. OUR CULTURE Quince is a culture built for builders by builders. Our way of working starts with a blank sheet of paper. We question conventional thinking, use technology and data to uncover new opportunities, and move quickly to turn ideas into reality. We dream big and chase the hard problems others shy away from. Rejecting long-held assumptions is part of our company's DNA. Where conventional wisdom says you have to choose – soft or durable, speed or rigor, quality or price – we ask why that trade-off has to exist in the first place. Our pace is fast and the bar is high because our customers expect a lot from us and we refuse to let them down. We believe the best results come from challenging ourselves, learning from one another, and building on each other's strengths. Here, responsibility is not determined by role, tenure, or seniority. Every team member - no matter their level - has the opportunity to drive our business and shape our trajectory. Role Purpose The Platform Operations Director is responsible for ensuring that solutions developed and released for the Solutions team are operationally ready, properly tested, clearly documented, effectively released, and provide support once live. The role acts as the bridge between delivery, business readiness and BAU operations. It supports the transition of work from project delivery into stable operational use, ensuring that users, stakeholders and support teams understand what has changed, how to use it, how to raise issues, and how ongoing support will be managed with appropriate priority, impact and SLAs This role is particularly important as Solutions Integration moves from a more reactive service model into a structured product and agile delivery function. The Platform Operations Director owns QA, release management, documentation, stakeholder communication, support processes, training, adoption and post-release improvement including BAU bugs and triage. The role works closely with Product Owners, Scrum Master, Engineering, Data, Reporting, QA, Platform Operations, and business stakeholders to make sure delivery does not stop at "built", but continues through testing, launch, adoption, support and measurable operational value. Senior / Specialist-Level Expectations As a Director within the team, this role is expected to help define and improve the operating standards around BAU management, QA coordination, release readiness, business readiness and service transition. Manage and proactively manage risk, resolution SLAs and ensure we are adhering to platform operational best practices. The Platform Operations Director should be able to identify operational risks early, challenge whether a solution is genuinely ready for release, and recommend practical improvements to processes, documentation, testing, support models and stakeholder communications. For smaller initiatives, the role should be able to advise Product Owners and delivery teams on the appropriate level of QA, training, release planning, handover and BAU support required. For larger or more complex initiatives, the role should escalate risks, dependencies or readiness gaps to the Product Manager Lead, Scrum Master, Lead Engineer / Solutions Architect or relevant leadership stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 1. BAU Operations Management Own and coordinate BAU operational processes for assigned platforms, tools, reports, workflows and solutions across all Media solutions. Monitor recurring issues, support trends, operational risks and user pain points. Triage and prioritise BAU requests, incidents, defects and enhancement requests. Ensure BAU work is captured through the agreed intake and backlog process rather than unmanaged emails, verbal requests or fragmented ticket routes. Work with Product Owners and the Scrum Master to distinguish between BAU support, defects, enhancements and new product requirements. Maintain visibility of BAU demand and help identify where recurring issues should become product improvements or engineering fixes. Support continuous improvement of support processes, documentation and operational workflows. This links directly to the team's wider shift away from fragmented request routes and towards clearer delivery rhythms, structured backlogs and improved operational process discipline. The existing documentation notes the need for clearer team rhythms, sprint cadences, retrospectives and mentoring as part of the transition plan . 2. QA Coordination and Testing Readiness Coordinate QA activity across delivery workstreams, ensuring testing requirements are understood before development begins. Work with Product Owners to ensure acceptance criteria, test scenarios and success measures are clearly defined. Support test planning across functional testing, regression testing, data validation, reporting checks and user acceptance testing. Ensure defects are logged, prioritised, tracked and resolved through the agreed delivery process. Work with engineers, analysts and business users to validate that solutions meet functional, operational and reporting requirements. Support the creation of reusable QA checklists, test scripts and validation templates. Ensure solutions are not released without appropriate testing evidence and business sign-off. This is consistent with the Product Owner responsibilities already defined around testing requirements, success criteria, UAT coordination, business validation, release readiness and operational handover . The Platform Operations Specialist would support and operationalise those activities. 3. Business Readiness and Adoption Ensure business users and operational teams are ready to adopt new or changed solutions. Coordinate training, guidance, demos, FAQs, release notes and user communications. Work with Product Owners to identify impacted teams, users, processes and workflows. Confirm that business teams understand what is changing, why it is changing, when it is happening and what action is required. Support stakeholder communications before, during and after release. Gather early feedback from users and ensure issues are captured and prioritised appropriately. Help ensure delivered solutions are embedded into day-to-day operations, rather than remaining underused or misunderstood. The handover documentation highlights the importance of clear communication with users, proper release notes, demonstrations and adoption support for new features and solutions . This role should own the operational discipline around making that happen consistently. 4. Release Readiness and Service Transition Own or coordinate release readiness checklists for assigned solutions. Ensure each release has appropriate testing evidence, documentation, support ownership, training material and stakeholder communication. Coordinate operational handover from delivery teams into BAU support. Confirm that runbooks, troubleshooting guides, known issues and escalation routes are in place. Work with engineering and data teams to ensure monitoring, alerting or manual checks are defined where required. Support go-live planning, release scheduling and post-release hypercare. Track post-release issues and ensure learnings are fed back into future delivery cycles. This role should become the person asking: "Are we actually ready to put this live, support it, explain it, and measure whether it worked?" 5. Documentation and Knowledge Management Maintain clear operational documentation for platforms, reports, tools, processes and workflows. Support the creation of user guides, SOPs, runbooks, release notes, FAQs and support documentation. Ensure documentation is stored in the agreed location and kept up to date. Work with Product Owners, engineers and analysts to document key dependencies, business rules, known limitations and support processes. Help reduce reliance on individual knowledge by making processes and system behaviour transparent. Support onboarding of new team members by maintaining accessible knowledge resources. This is important because the team is moving away from legacy ways of working and informal knowledge transfer into a more structured operating model. 6. Platform and Process Governance Support the consistent use of agreed tools, workflows, ticketing processes and delivery governance. Help ensure work is captured, categorised and progressed through the correct routes. Maintain standards for BAU tickets, defects, release requests, support issues and operational change. Identify process gaps, duplicated effort or inconsistent ways of working. Recommend improvements to BAU processes, support models, QA standards and release governance. Support reporting on operational performance, support demand, defect trends and release readiness. Help ensure changes are controlled, documented and aligned to agreed team practices. This aligns with the documented need to improve proactive behaviour, structured product management, backlog grooming, stand-ups and retrospectives across the team . 7. Stakeholder and Cross-Team Coordination Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Data, Reporting, QA, Scrum Master and business users. Coordinate with Activation, Operations, Channel Development, Commercial and other impacted teams where relevant. Ensure operational dependencies are understood and managed before release. Help stakeholders understand support routes, known issues, timelines and release impacts. Escalate operational risks, unresolved defects, readiness gaps or business adoption concerns. Support regular BAU and platform operations updates for leadership where required. The existing Product Owner documentation already describes the importance of coordination across engineering, data, reporting, platform, operations and business teams . The Platform Operations Specialist should provide the operational control layer that supports this. Skills and Experience Essential Experience in platform operations, service transition, QA coordination, business readiness, delivery operations or technical operations. Strong understanding of BAU support processes, release management and operational handover. Experience coordinating UAT, defect tracking, test planning or business validation activity. Ability to create clear documentation, user guides, process notes, release communications and operational runbooks. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Good understanding of agile or product-led delivery environments. Ability to identify operational risks, readiness gaps, support issues and process improvements. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Confident using Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps or similar delivery/support tooling. Ability to communicate clearly with users, delivery teams and senior stakeholders. Desirable Experience working in media, advertising, ad tech, martech, reporting, data or platform environments. Experience supporting reporting platforms, dashboards, data products or operational workflow tools. Understanding of data validation, reporting QA or campaign performance data. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as GCP, AWS, BigQuery or Snowflake. Experience working with engineering, data engineering or analytics teams. Experience supporting transformation from reactive support models into structured product or agile delivery models. Familiarity with WPP, WPP Media, Choreograph or similar enterprise platform environments would be beneficial. #LI-Promoted Please read our Privacy Notice for more information on how we process the information you provide. About Mistral Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms. We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited. THE TEAM Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. Our customers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector run frontier models on European-jurisdiction infrastructure, and the Cloud Platform team builds the systems that make that possible — compute orchestration, Kubernetes, bare metal, storage, networking, and the datacenter fleet that runs it all. We run it all on our own metal, our own network, our own datacenters — which means when something breaks, the fix is ours to write. European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on. THE ROLE You will build storage on our cloud. Block, filesystem, and object storage for training runs, sandboxed workloads, and general compute: you help decide what we build, what we buy, and how it adds up to storage our customers can bet a business on. Some layers we deploy and harden from best-in-class vendors. The ones that matter most we write ourselves in Go — S3-compatible object storage, tiering, backup and recovery, caching layers that put cold data on cheap spinning disks. Storage is a strategic bet for this org: the systems you build will define how a gigawatt of European compute stores its data. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Build the storage stack — block, file, object — for training, sandbox, and general compute workloads. - Design and write our own services in Go: S3-compatible APIs, tiering, backup and recovery, caching layers. - Own the data plane: allocation, duplication, tiering, backup and recovery. - Plan capacity across datacenters and across failure domains — petabytes, not terabytes. - Partner with Product Managers to shape the storage roadmap and make the technical and business tradeoffs. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - You have built storage systems — object, block, or distributed filesystems — not just operated them. You know what happens when a disk dies mid-write and when a rebalance collides with a backup window. - Deep distributed-systems fundamentals: durability, consistency, replication, erasure coding, failure domains. - You have shipped production systems in Go. Systems engineers coming from C++ or Rust who are ready to write Go daily should still talk to us. - You are comfortable with hardware reality: HDD, SSD, and NVMe tiers, and the economics of each. - 5+ years building backend or infrastructure systems. - You have partnered with product, design, and business teams to ship software that reached real users. - A low-ego, team-first mindset. We care less about your exact domain and more about whether you are the kind of technical force other engineers want to work alongside. What We Offer We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks. For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page . Privacy Policy Your privacy matters to us.
