Mission Integral was founded in October 2024 and is already one of the fastest-growing startups in Germany. We're building the leading AI-native platform for accounting, payroll, and tax for European SMEs, and we're looking for the sharpest people to help us get there. As our first dedicated Senior Finance & FP&A Manager, you will build the financial planning & analysis function from the ground up and report directly to the CFO. You will own the group's forecasting and planning engine, sharpen ARR and liquidity steering, and be a core partner on fundraising, board reporting and go-to-market economics. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role for someone who wants to build. Your Tasks Planning & forecasting: Own and continuously improve the integrated business plan (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet), including consolidation logic. Budgeting: Run the annual budget and rolling re-forecast; translate strategy into a defensible operating plan and use-of-funds. Performance steering with KPIs & BI: Define and report the KPIs that matter and build them into our BI dashboard. Flag risks and levers early. IR & fundraising: Support board and investor reporting and potential future funding rounds with models and investor-grade materials. GTM & cohorts: Build and own cohort analytics tied to go-to-market (e.g. retention, payback period, LTV/CAC and margin by acquisition channel). Turn these into concrete recommendations on spend and channel mix. Business partnering: Partner with Commercial and Service Operations leaders on unit economics, pricing, funnel efficiency and investment decisions. Scalable processes & automation: Design processes that scale with rapid growth by using AI and agentic tooling to make planning faster, cleaner and repeatable. Operational Finance: Own accounts payable and receivable, and drive timely, accurate month-end and year-end closes together with our tax advisory team. Your Profile Experience: 5+ years in FP&A, accounting/controlling, investment banking or a comparable analytical finance role, ideally with high-growth / VC-backed / scale-up exposure. Modelling: Expert financial modelling; you build clean, three-statement models and defend the assumptions. Commercial: Fluent in unit economics, recurring-revenue and cash metrics; comfortable turning messy data into decisions. Tools: Advanced Excel/Sheets; experience with BI/planning, DATEV and AI tooling a strong plus. Language: You operate in English and German; investor and board materials are produced in English. Mindset: Hands-on, structured, comfortable with ambiguity and first-of-role ownership in a scaling environment. Agentic mindset: You default to AI and agentic tools to automate the repetitive and build leverage - you think in reusable processes and systems, not one-off spreadsheets, so finance scales faster than headcount. Qualification: Degree in finance, business or a quantitative field; CFA, MBA or qualified-accountant background welcome. What we're not looking for People who wait to be told what to do. "That's not my job" energy at the handoff between teams. Anyone who treats compliance and documentation as red tape to skip rather than the thing that protects the client. Process We move fast. For the right candidate the whole process takes less than two weeks. Virtual call with our Talent Team Virtual Case Study based on a real challenge we're facing that you'd solve Invitation to our office to meet the team, product, and run through your case study Reference call Our Offer Direct line to the CFO and Co-Founder/CEO exposure Competitive compensation package 28 vacation days per year, plus half-days on December 24 and 31 Urban Sports Club Mitgliedschaft, Sachbezüge/Coupons to over 200 partners or a Deutschland Ticket Company pension scheme (bAV) Modern equipment setup for your needs to succeed Modern office in the heart of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg Weekly team lunches on us, office BBQs, and a dinner budget for late nights after 8 p.m. A team of 50+ (and growing) ambitious, diverse experts, 20%+ ex-founders, learning and building together A category-defining growth story in a large, underserved market, with an AI-enabled operating model. Growth Product Manager - Customer Acquisition (German Speaking)
Full TimeOn-siteMid£60,000 - £60,000 / Year
godata sciencedentalmental healthtaxinsurance+2

The company Small businesses move fast. Opportunities often don't wait, and cash flow pressures can appear overnight. To keep going, and growing, SMEs need finance that's as flexible and responsive as they are. That's why we built iwoca. Our smart technology, data science and five-star customer service ensures business owners can act with the speed, confidence and control they need, exactly when it's needed. We've already cleared the way for 100,000 businesses with more than £4 billion in funding. Our passionate team is driven to help even more SMEs succeed, through access to better finance and other services that make running a business easier. Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive. Hybrid in Berlin or London We're looking for a Growth Product Manager Own the systems that decide which German businesses iwoca reaches, and the journey they take from first click to submitted loan application. You'll join a team that is still being built, with a data scientist in place and engineers being hired in parallel. A good fit if you like working from first principles, and would rather run an experiment than win an argument. The team The DE Acquisition Tech team builds the systems behind how German businesses discover iwoca and apply for funding: the models that decide which businesses to approach, the eligibility checks that tell a business early whether iwoca can help, and the signup flow itself. Product, analytics, data science and engineering sit in the same squad by design, so the team can go from hypothesis to shipped change without waiting on anyone else. The German marketing and sales teams depend on this work: the team's models decide who they contact, and its journeys decide how many of those businesses convert. The team is being built right now. It currently includes a data scientist, and we're hiring engineers in parallel – so you would join early enough to shape how the team operates. The role This role sits between iwoca's German commercial teams – marketing, sales and commercial strategy – and the technical squad that builds for them. Reporting into the Head of Direct Acquisition, you will own acquisition and activation outcomes for the German market: finding the opportunities, defining the hypotheses, and working with engineering, data, marketing and sales to build, test and iterate. The scope is broad. We're not looking for someone with deep expertise in every domain the team covers – spanning product development, analytics, UX and data science – but rather someone intellectually curious, and skilled at asking the right questions. Own the funnel from first visit to application Own every step of that journey, including the signup flow itself and the eligibility checks inside it. Set the roadmap for acquisition and the signup journey, and decide what the squad builds next. Own the scoring and segmentation that decides where marketing spends and who sales calls first. Build with your technical squad Ship lead scoring systems, eligibility checkers and signup flows with the team's data scientist and the engineers we're hiring. Rework website content, signup flows and decisioning logic with marketing and sales, to convert more of the businesses that already reach iwoca. Strip friction out of the signup journey, so that applying for funding takes minutes rather than an afternoon. Be the first call when the numbers look wrong Act as the technical partner for German marketing, sales and channel management on attribution, tracking and data pipeline problems. Investigate and resolve data quality issues – broken dashboards, misattributed traffic, unexplained volume changes – often at short notice. Give channel managers access to, and guidance on, the attribution logic behind their numbers. Keep the tracking and attribution systems trustworthy, so every decision downstream rests on numbers the team believes. Run the experiments that decide what ships Design, run and interpret A/B tests across messaging, targeting, eligibility checks and signup flows. Find opportunities from first principles, backed by data, customer research and funnel analysis. Shape how a new team works Direct the squad's work day to day: brief the data scientist and engineers, set priorities, and turn their models into shipped products. Define the priorities, roles and rituals of a team that is still being built. Lead cross-functional initiatives with marketing and sales, aligning them with engineering and data on shared goals, hypotheses and success metrics. Turn the commercial strategy team's goals into testable hypotheses and briefs the squad can act on. The requirements Essential: Experience as a product manager, growth product manager, or in a role with clear ownership of product-led growth outcomes. Strong analytical capability and experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing tools. Hands-on experience with tracking and attribution setups, such as Amplitude, GA4, GTM, server-side tagging or conversion feedback into ad platforms. Able to act as the product voice on modelling work – challenging assumptions and turning model output into decisions, without building the models yourself. Strong capability using AI tools, including structured prompting and iterative AI interaction to problem solve and increase productivity. Bonus: Experience in fintech, lending, B2B SaaS, or regulated products. Experience working with data science teams or involvement in modelling projects. Fluency in German and strong written communication skills tailored to customer-facing environments. Knowledge of the German SME ecosystem or B2B financial products. Experience working in or helping build newly formed teams. The salary We expect to pay from £60,000 - £80,000 for this role. But, we're open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews. The culture At iwoca, we prioritise a culture of learning, growth, and support, and invest in the development of our team members. We value thought and skill diversity, and encourage people to explore new areas of interest, adopt better tools – including AI – and apply sound judgement so our products and decisions improve over time. The offices We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a great place to work: Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks. Events and community-led groups, including running groups, padel, and monthly ping-pong and pool competitions. The benefits Flexible working hours. Medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership. A choice between a dedicated dental plan or a health cash plan that reimburses everyday medical expenses. A private GP service (separate from Vitality) for you, your partner, and your dependents. 25 days' holiday per year, an extra day off for your birthday, the option to buy or sell an additional five days of annual leave, and unlimited unpaid leave. A one-month, fully paid sabbatical after four years. Instant access to external counselling and therapy sessions for team members that need emotional or mental health support. 3% Pension contributions on total earnings. An employee equity incentive scheme. Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money. Electric car scheme and cycle to work scheme. Two company retreats a year: we've been to France, Italy, Spain, and further afield. And to make sure we all keep learning, we offer: A learning and development budget for everyone. Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers. Access to learning platforms like Treehouse. The function iwoca's Data Scientists specialise in supervised machine learning, statistical inference and exploratory data analysis, focusing on tabular and time series data. Our work emphasises quantitative predictions through the analysis of conditional probabilities and expectations, using medium-sized datasets. The team iwocaPay is iwoca's B2B Buy Now Pay Later product. The Risk Squad owns the automated credit decisioning and fraud prevention models that influence every lending decision the product makes. The squad also handles counterparty risk, portfolio-level strategy, and ongoing monitoring of losses, chargebacks, and segment performance. The role You'll co-own the full credit modelling stack with one other data scientist. You'll collaborate on model design, review each other's work, and choose what to prioritise. Your models directly control which small businesses get access to funding, on what terms, and how far the product can grow. What you'll get out of it: Complex problems to solve Work on interesting, open modelling problems rather than maintenance. Improving how the model performs across segments, test more advanced approaches, and build models from scratch for new products. Real influence You own the models end to end, and your decisions carry commercial weight. Room to develop A small team on a growing product means broad remit, fast growth, and a say in how the team's pipelines, monitoring, and processes get built. The requirements Essential: Expertise in supervised machine learning on tabular data, with experience building and iterating production models end to end (exploration through deployment and monitoring). Strong statistical foundations in probability, uncertainty quantification, model calibration, and in reasoning about where a model is likely to be wrong. Ability to work independently in a messy, early-stage environment – scoping problems, building infrastructure, and shipping models autonomously Pragmatism about what 'good enough' looks like commercially, balanced with rigour on high-stakes models. Data engineering capability – building pipelines and managing datasets alongside the modelling work. AI fluency – using AI to build, automate, and accelerate substantive analytical and engineering work. Clear communication – you can adapt technical detail for non-technical colleagues working in product, risk, and leadership. Bonus: Experience with credit risk modelling or financial services lending. Familiarity with transfer learning, domain adaptation, or techniques for combining datasets of different sizes and relevance. Experience with non-linear models (gradient boosting, neural networks on tabular data) in production settings. Python proficiency – it's what the team uses day to day. The salary We expect to pay from £60,000 – £80,000 for this role. But, we're open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews. The culture At iwoca, the best idea wins. We model our culture on independent thinking, challenging untested logic, and evidence-based decisions. We prioritise learning and growth, and give people the autonomy to develop in the direction that makes them most effective. We're a tech company and believe in the power of AI to help us work faster and better. We provide the infrastructure where every iwocan always has access to the best models and where those models have access to all of our data. We will help our people to learn how to use and grow with the new tools available to them. Back End Tech Lead - Funnel Platform Hybrid in London (UK) or Remote within the UK We're hiring a Tech Lead for our Funnel Platform Team. You will lead the evolution of the shared code, frameworks, and integrations that power our services, build and improve business-critical systems, and shape the technical vision. Your customers are other iwoca engineers. The Team The Platform team owns approximately 10 shared services that the rest of iwoca engineering builds on top of - including the frameworks and integrations with external data providers (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, Companies House etc) that underpin our credit decisions. This is not an SRE or DevOps team. Funnel Platform is code and framework focused - building and stewarding the shared services that the rest of engineering depends on. The team works hand-in-hand with other teams to build and deliver a shared vision for the future of the platform. The Role The Tech Lead role combines individual contribution, line management, and ownership of the platform roadmap. You will lead a team of developers focused on the shared services and frameworks that other iwoca engineering teams build on, driving technical strategy and translating our long-term vision into robust, maintainable systems. Your mission is "Making Change Easy" for the engineering teams that depend on you by owning shared services and being the trusted reviewer for contributions from partner teams, ending conflicts between maintenance and delivery through dedicated ownership. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will take full ownership of the team's roadmap and provide direct line management to its engineers. A balance of delivery, leadership, and influence: Act as a hands-on contributor and lead by example in quality, testing, and performance. Drive the technical strategy and execution for the Platform team, translating vision into well-designed, robust, and maintainable systems. Set direction without a PM - spot the problems worth solving, back them with data, and drive them to delivery. Architectural ownership and impact: Lead the development of shared frameworks and services that other engineering teams contribute to and build on. Collaborate with stakeholders in the commercial funnel teams to build a shared roadmap. Own the health of the shared services other teams depend on - spotting emerging issues, reviewing contributions from consuming teams, Shape architectural improvements to the shared services over time - measured on developer experience, service health, and reliability, not feature throughput Team leadership and management: Manage and mentor engineers, taking responsibility for their performance, coaching, and career development. Define and champion engineering best practices within your team and across the wider engineering group. The requirements Essential: Experience developing and owning shared back end services that other engineering teams contribute to and depend on - being the trusted reviewer for their contributions and shaping how they build on top of your work. Experience building and shaping distributed systems in complex business domains. Advanced proficiency in software development. Confidence to work closely with partners from other disciplines to challenge assumptions and discover underlying problems. Demonstrable leadership skills: you have mentored juniors and inspired teams to deliver cross-functional projects. You can balance hands-on coding with strategic planning. You use AI (like Cursor, Claude Code or similar) in your daily flow—whether for work or for fun. You use it to blast through boilerplate and research, so you can focus on the hard parts: complex architecture, rigour, and high-stakes decision-making. Bonus: A strong numerical or technical background, ideally with a degree in physics, engineering, maths, computer science or a related field. Experience with Python, Django, or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with data analytics or machine learning processes. Experience with complex data architectures, including event-sourced data models. The salary We expect to pay from £90,000 - £120,000 for this role. But, we're open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application.
