GiveDirectly has delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty across 15 countries since 2011. We believe cash transfers are one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid, with the research to back it up. Our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We are one of Time100's Most Influential Companies of 2026. We're now preparing to deliver billions of dollars a year to people in extreme poverty, if funding allows. Read our CEO's essay on what that will take. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We support high ownership and real professional growth. Curious about what it's really like to work here? Read our values and hear from the people who do . If they resonate, this could be a great fit! About this role GiveDirectly is looking for an experienced investigator who can establish a function, not just run cases. Concerns and allegations reach us from every program and every country we work in. Each one needs to be triaged and assessed objectively, and to end in appropriate findings and recommendations. You will manage the newly created Central Intake and Investigations Hub. It is a standalone, independent function that works across the whole organisation. The Hub investigates a range of investigations itself, and supports colleagues elsewhere who handle the rest. You will lead the team and take the most complex investigations yourself. The bigger initial task is to establish the Hub across the organisation. How it works has been designed and agreed. What it does not yet have is standing. People need to know it exists, bring things to it early, and trust what it concludes. This matters now because GiveDirectly is growing fast. Delivery volume and headcount are both rising, and the way staff concerns are handled needs to grow with them. Reports to: Director of Safeguarding and Investigations Manages: Future roles including a Program Manager, Investigations and Program Manager, Intake and Reporting to be recruited once the Senior Manager role has been filled. Level: Senior Manager Location: Remote, with a requirement to overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours, and meaningful overlap with US Eastern hours. We can only employ people in certain places at the moment, so it's worth checking our current list of eligible countries to see if yours is included. If you're based elsewhere, it's not an automatic no, but do flag it early with your recruiter. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time. Travel: Occasional. Team meetings and co-locations, plus travel to a country of operation where an investigation requires it. This is not frequent, but it is not predictable either. What you'll do Establish a Central Intake and Investigations Hub across the organisation: Take an agreed design and make it something people use. Build the relationships with the People team, Internal Audit, Safeguarding, HR Managers and Country Directors to ensure concerns are managed effectively. Refine how intake, triage and allocation work in practice as you learn what holds up. Lead the most complex investigations yourself. Establish the facts, produce the findings report and make recommendations. Set the investigation standard and hold other people to it: Define what a good investigation looks like at GiveDirectly. Provide oversight and support where Internal Audit or Safeguarding lead a staff related matter, and quality assure what comes out of it. Decide what training the organisation needs and set its direction. Own the record and what it tells the organisation: Create and hold the system of record for staff matters. Make sure findings and documentation are captured centrally, whoever led the case. Run regular reporting and calibration with the People team, Internal Audit, Safeguarding, Country Directors and ExCo. Sign off on relevant internal and external reporting. Make the function work at scale through the responsible use of technology and data: Shape the design of the case management system and its controls, so that staff investigation records sit only where they should. Find the practical places where automation and AI reduce manual work in triage, documentation and reporting. Build the hub so that growth in concern volume does not simply mean a bigger team. Set up and lead the team: Recruit for, manage and develop a Program Manager, Investigations and the Program Manager, Intake and Reporting. Set their priorities, review their work and build their capability. What success looks like in 12 to 18 months Concerns reach the hub as a matter of course, from every country and function. People come to the hub early and while a matter is still manageable, because they have found it useful rather than because they were told to. Investigations are handled consistently, whoever leads them, and findings reports hold up when they are challenged. The hub is understood across the organisation as an independent central resource. Internal and External reporting tells its audience something they did not already know about patterns, themes and where risk is concentrating. The People team, Internal Audit, Safeguarding and country leadership treat the hub as a resource they rely on rather than a process they comply with. Additional hires for the hub are capable, developing, and the function runs day to day without you in the room. Why this role You build it. This is a new function with a mandate and a set of agreed boundaries. How it actually works is largely what you make it. Genuine independence. The hub is designed to be objective and to handle complex matters. Breadth. You will work across every function and every country GiveDirectly operates in. It matters. Getting this right protects staff and recipients, and protects the trust that lets GiveDirectly move a great deal of money to people who need it. What we are looking for: How you work matters as much as your investigation skills. Trusted by the people you also hold to account. You can tell someone that the handling of a matter was wrong, and still have a strong working relationship with them the following week. People Managers, Internal Audit, Safeguarding and country leadership should want to call you early rather than after things have gone wrong. You motivate and influence people who don't report to you. The Hub has no direct line management over Internal Audit, Safeguarding, the People team or country leadership, and it needs all of them to do the work well. You build the relationships and shape best practice. Impartial, and visibly so. People may try to influence you. You will be told the answer before you have found it. You hold to process and evidence without turning it into a fight, and you record what you could not establish as carefully as what you could. You build what isn't there yet. This function is being shaped by you. You are comfortable where the priorities are clear, but the road to them is not. You would rather design a solution rather than wait to be handed one. You work alongside people. Some of the investigative work is done by other teams, and your expertise is what lifts its quality. You get into the detail with colleagues, you are clear about what good looks like and what still needs doing, and you see it through with them. Steady with difficult material. You work with content of abuse and misconduct without losing sight of the people involved, and without carrying it in ways that wear you down. On experience, we are looking for: Exceptional alignment with GiveDirectly Values and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity. 5-7 years of experience leading workplace (misconduct) investigations , including matters involving senior staff and allegations of sexual misconduct. You have run these end to end, from terms of reference to findings report. Experience in setting investigation standards and quality assuring other people's work , not only conducting investigations yourself. A working understanding of employee relations and of where an investigation ends and an employment decision begins. You have worked alongside other teams without blurring the lines of responsibility. Experience across multiple countries and legal contexts , including where local law shapes how we may investigate and how staff must be treated. Trauma-informed and survivor-centred practice in how you plan interviews, handle disclosures and support the people involved. Has made technology work for investigative teams. You have set up or improved investigative system, built reporting from case data, or introduced tools that changed how a team worked. You have used AI in professional work and can say where it helped, where it did not, and how you handled confidentiality. Language Requirement: Professional fluency in English, plus professional working proficiency in one of French, Swahili or Portuguese. Investigative interviews are often confidential and conducted in these languages. Why work at GiveDirectly? At GiveDirectly, we work to ensure that you have everything you need to excel in your role and on your team, including: A positive and supportive team with opportunities for advancement A demonstrated commitment to helping all staff develop and grow A competitive salary, including bonus A robust health benefits plan (exact details will vary by country) Unlimited PTO (that we encourage staff to take!) We also have a no negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles. Read more about our compensation philosophy here . How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. Program Overview Some of our world's grand challenges, from resolving long-open problems in mathematics to designing medicines for neglected diseases, require deep expert judgment that today's AI still lacks. We're working toward an AI scientist, a system capable of the long-horizon reasoning and experimental judgment needed to push the frontier on problems like these. We believe frontier AI, developed safely, can meaningfully accelerate progress across science and engineering. Getting there requires close collaboration with people who have spent years at the frontier of their fields. The Anthropic STEM Fellows Program brings researchers and experts from across science and engineering into Anthropic for four months to take on the grand challenges of their fields with Claude. Working in small pods of Fellows from related fields, you will pair deep domain expertise with our frontier models and internal tooling to define the hardest open problems in your discipline, build the datasets and simulations that let us test and train Claude on them, and find exactly where it falls short. We're looking for Fellows across science and engineering. Prior machine learning experience is helpful but not required. Scientific judgment and a willingness to learn quickly matter more. Our first cohort of more than 20 STEM Fellows across mathematics, physics, the life sciences, and engineering, ran from June to September 2026. The problems they built now feed Claude's training and one of our internal science evaluations. What to Expect: A place in a small pod of Fellows working on related problems in your domain. Your pod meets weekly with Anthropic researchers to share methods, pressure-test ideas, and build on each other's work. A grand challenge at the frontier of your field: an ambitious, open-ended problem scoped with our research team so you can make real progress in four months. Access to frontier Claude models and internal evaluation tooling. Compensation: $100,000–$167,000 USD for the four-month fellowship (equivalent to $300,000–$500,000 USD annualized), and other benefits. Key responsibilities Setting grand challenges for your field: identifying long-horizon open problems where Claude falls short of expert judgment, and defining what real progress on them looks like. Building comprehensive datasets, simulations and rigorous, hard-to-game evaluations that test whether models can plan experiments, interpret data and reason about mechanisms, and systematically finding where they're confidently wrong. Applying Claude to open problems in your domain, using test-time compute strategies and integrating the scientific tools and software your field relies on. Minimum qualifications Are excited about the potential for AI to reason well about hard questions in their field where expert judgment matters. Hands-on experience using Claude and Claude Code in your day-to-day workflow. Hold a PhD in a STEM field and have several years of experience (eg post-doc or faculty). Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-agency atmosphere for a few months and delivering concrete results. Existing authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the program. Logistics - Fellows The program runs from January 12th to May 8th 2027 , and is full-time for the duration; some fellowships may be considered for an extension. Applications are open until October 28, 2026 , and we plan to make offers by November 20th. Later stages will typically include a take-home exercise and conversations with our research team about your research interests and possible project directions. We ask that all Fellows attend a one-week in-person orientation in San Francisco. The default location is in San Francisco. We will consider remote engagements within the United States in certain circumstances. We are not currently able to sponsor visas for fellows. To participate in the Fellows program, you need to have or independently obtain full-time work authorization in the United States. This is a fixed-term contract position. Fellows are engaged through an employer of record, rather than employed directly by Anthropic. The below are Anthropic's policies for full time roles. These do NOT apply to the Fellows Program. Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions , the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours. The Role: We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven AI leader to define and scale our AI strategy and organization . This leader will drive innovation across Agentic AI and Machine Learning solutions to ensure MaintainX becomes the category-defining intelligence layer for industrial operations. Work Intelligence: Conversational and Agentic AI solutions to empower frontline teams to digitize their operations, schedule and execute work, manage inventory and deliver insights. Asset Intelligence: Transforming raw machine and sensor data into actionable insights, predictive models, prescriptive recommendations and automated workflows to reduce downtime and labor costs. The vertical scope encompasses integration with OT/IT platforms/protocols, Machine Learning platform, full-stack product development and various sensor modalities such as tabular, vibration, and image data. GTM Intelligence: Accelerate MaintainX's and potentially Autodesk's business by building AI-powered agents, tools, and internal products that help our revenue, service, and operations teams move faster, close smarter and scale. The flagship platform is MaintainX's data intelligence layer (Atlas) — a unified, agentic system that connects our internal knowledge with external signals. Atlas empowers agentic or conversational solutions through the tools teams already use such as Salesforce and Claude. You'll shape how MaintainX and potentially Autodesk Operations Solutions leverages predictive, generative and agentic AI to unlock new enterprise value. You'll partner cross-functionally with not only Engineering, Product and Design, but also Marketing, Sales and Customer Support; while building and leading a world-class AI/ML team. What You'll Do: AI Strategy & Vision Define the long-term product and platform vision with progressive milestones and KPIs. Empower every MaintainX engineer to incorporate Agentic AI tools into their feature development flows. Translate emerging AI/ML research (GenAI, anomaly detection, RUL prediction, multimodal fusion) into production-ready solutions that deliver measurable customer value. Build and evangelize Autodesk and MaintainX's position as the AI leader in CMMS/EAM , differentiating through workflow-native intelligence. Execution & Delivery Lead the design and build of scalable Agentic AI platforms : Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) systems, evals and agentic orchestration frameworks. Build a data ingestion, processing and inference pipelines that can scale to millions of unstructured documents and videos . Drive delivery of predictive models across sensor modalities (tabular, vibration, IoT, multimodal), balancing time-to-market with reliability and scalability. Ensure models are explainable, trusted, and deeply embedded into MaintainX workflows — not siloed features. People Leadership & Organization Building Build and scale a high-performing AI organization spanning platform, machine learning and product teams . Hire and develop technical leaders; create a culture of innovation and accountability. Establish a feedback-driven and high performance culture, empowering teams to take calculated risks and learn from successes and failures. Cross-Functional Leadership Represent AI internally and externally as a thought leader — with executives, customers, and industry stakeholders. Partner with Product and Design to translate customer needs into AI-powered workflows. Collaborate with GTM teams to develop AI messaging, customer pilots, pricing strategies, and case studies. About You: 12+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with 7+ years leading teams in high-growth, data-driven technology companies. Proven success designing, building and deploying predictive deep learning models into production at scale (ranking & recommendation systems, anomaly detection, forecasting, multimodal). Track record of organizational leadership : building AI/ML teams, hiring senior technical leaders, and scaling organizations through growth. Deep expertise across one or more: multimodal ML (sensor, text, image, vibration), MLOps or Agentic AI frameworks. Adept at operating at multiple altitudes: from architecture design reviews to C-suite strategic planning . Comfortable working in fast-moving environments; you balance speed with reliability and long-term vision. Strong communication skills, able to influence across disciplines, present to executive leadership and inspire both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in ambiguity, biases for action, and balances long-term vision with near-term execution. Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build. Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk's benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com . For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it. Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging . About the role The IT Operations team keeps Anthropic running. We want every employee to do their best work without friction. We're hiring an IT Support Engineer who pairs strong technical skills with a service mindset and good judgment. Anthropic is growing fast, and IT needs to keep pace. That means onboarding at scale, automating repetitive work (including with Claude), and improving the day-to-day employee experience. You'll handle support across our mostly macOS environment and help with the operational work that lets us scale. You'll work closely with IT Engineering and Security, with room to grow into more technical infrastructure work over time. This isn't a scripted support role. You'll have real ownership, use your judgment to improve our processes, and grow with the team as we scale. Key responsibilities Triage and resolve issues across hardware, software, networking, and accounts, mostly through our ticketing system, plus Slack and in-person Diagnose and fix issues across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and our core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian) Troubleshoot device issues, including enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement Support access management and employee lifecycle workflows (onboarding, offboarding, reorgs) Handle escalations that need cross-team coordination Join an on-call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours Provide hands-on support for user technology, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers Communicate clearly with users at every technical level Write and maintain internal documentation, including runbooks, how-to guides, and knowledge base articles Spot patterns in support requests, surface recurring issues, and flag opportunities to automate Help streamline onboarding and other high-volume operations as we scale Contribute to automation efforts Maintain and improve device management, identity, and access systems Write scripts (Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks Minimum qualifications Hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting macOS endpoints, and comfortable supporting ChromeOS, iOS, and Android Experience with Google Workspace administration Experience with Slack administration, including workspace management, permissions, and troubleshooting Experience supporting and administering other SaaS tools Understanding of identity and access fundamentals: SSO, MFA, directory services Familiarity with MDM fundamentals and endpoint management concepts Basic scripting (Bash or Python) for automation Strong troubleshooting skills, with a methodical and persistent approach Clear communicator who enjoys helping people solve problems Take ownership of problems and follow through until they're resolved Preferred qualifications Familiarity with zero-trust security concepts and endpoint security tooling Networking basics: DNS, DHCP, VPNs Experience with IT projects beyond day-to-day support, such as migrations, tool rollouts, or process redesigns Experience using AI tools to improve personal or team productivity Interest in developing deeper technical skills and taking on more complex systems administration over time Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. About the role Data science is in a moment of reinvention: AI-generated code and agentic workflows are changing what it means to put analytical work into production. Posit's mission is to empower people to conduct trustworthy data analysis for themselves, their organizations, and the world at large. Posit Team is the trusted on-premises platform at the center: a place where data scientists and the organizations that rely on them can explore data, deploy applications and agents, expose and consume MCP servers, and do all of it with the visibility, accountability, and reproducibility that serious analytical work demands. We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will bring a builder's instinct to a team working at the intersection of data science, infrastructure, and AI. You will help us build new capabilities and features in our product suite, including things we haven't yet imagined possible, and you will drive those changes forward into our customers' hands. About you You are an enthusiastic generalist who thrives in the face of ambiguous requirements—an engineer who is just as good at starting things as you are at finishing them. Some qualities we value most: High agency You are driven. When something important feels daunting or underspecified, your first instinct is to prototype to clarify the value you can deliver, rather than wait for someone to give you the answers. Boldness in learning You are genuinely unafraid to tackle unfamiliar subjects. You know that nobody is an expert in everything, and you don't let unfamiliarity be a reason for not trying. You're not afraid to ask questions and make mistakes, because learning new techniques feels like an adventure and we share what we learn as a team. Proficiency in either Go or Typescript as well as in either Python or R, and experience with backend systems, data tooling, and data science frameworks are helpful for this role. Eagerness and boldness to learn is essential. User empathy and product sense You make judgment calls on behalf of users with minimal up front guidance and are willing to be wrong, because you will learn. Prior domain expertise with data science as a practice may help, but it is not the only way. Regardless, you lead with empathy: you optimize for solving a real customer problem, not for technical purity. Collaborative curiosity You are generous. When you learn something useful, your first instinct is to share it. You teach as readily as you learn, ask questions without ego, admit what you don't know, and lend a hand when someone's stuck. Interest in AI You are interested not just in using AI in your work, but building tools for customers to use AI in their own work. You also are curious, and you question when AI is not the right answer for a particular problem. You lean on your user empathy when building: knowing that some of our customers use and love AI in data science and others don't or are restricted from using it. Results-driven You are focused on delivering measurable value to customers. You have a strong technical background with a track record of shipping successful products. Within one week, you will… Ship code changes that meaningfully improves the experience for our customers. Within one month, you will… See your changes reflected in our public releases. Participate in feature planning and provide feedback. Feel comfortable navigating the codebase and understand how things fit together. Within three months, you will… Plan features and drive their development. Have a track record of teaching team members; both from your expertise and things you learn as you build. Have a track record of learning: both from the things you learned and taught us along the way; and from listening to internal users, external users, and how our customers use our products. Within six months, you will… Point to new features you built that we hadn't even dreamed were possible. At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're looking for a QA Engineer to drive quality for the platform and help modernize how we test it. Here, testing isn't a gate bolted onto the end of shipping, it's part of the same function as building and deploying. You'll own your share of that full chain. This is a junior role for someone who wants to build a real career in QA and automation. You'll start hands-on with day-to-day testing and grow into broader ownership of our test automation as you develop. We're investing in making our testing environment more AI-forward, and you'll have real room to shape and extend that work, not just maintain what exists. The function itself is evolving, too: our Operations org is moving from traditional QA toward evaluating AI-native systems, and this role is your entry point into where that's headed. Own day-to-day QA across releases: new data connectors, schema changes, customer rollouts, platform upgrades, ensuring changes are solid before they reach customers Help cut down false-failure noise in the test suite and improve how efficiently it runs, so the team can trust what it's telling them Get close enough to the business logic behind our data pipelines to know not just whether a test passes, but whether it's testing the right thing Build new automations as new features roll out Genuine interest in building a career in QA and automation. Entry-level to ~1-2 years of QA or testing experience Comfortable moving between technical detail and business context. You care about why a test matters, not just whether it passes Familiarity with coding with Claude or similar Strong foundations in Java and SQL Proficiency with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with API/UI test automation frameworks and tools like Cucumber, Selenium Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM) Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins We value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
