Forward Deployed Engineer Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid) About Nash Nash is building the digital logistics infrastructure that powers delivery for some of the world's largest retailers, tech platforms, and delivery services. Our platform connects merchants, carriers, and customers through unified AI-driven logistics, helping enterprises like Walmart, Woolworths, 7-Eleven, and Coles orchestrate millions of deliveries every month. We're now expanding our engineering presence in Australia and looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who can ship code, solve real customer problems, and help shape how Nash scales across APAC. The Role This is hands-on engineering at the edge — not pre-sales, not implementation. You'll build, deploy, and operate production software directly with customers while working closely with our global product and AI teams. You'll be part of the foundational team defining how our Australia engineering office operates. Expect to move fast, own outcomes, and see your work drive real-world impact within weeks, not quarters. What You'll Do • Build and deploy production systems used by top enterprise retailers • Work directly with customers' engineering, ops, and leadership teams • Take new products from concept to live deployments • Design and extend core infrastructure underpinning global delivery orchestration • Partner with product and AI teams to influence direction across APAC • Debug real-world logistics workflows across fleets, APIs, and integrations Who You Are • 4 plus years building and shipping production software • Strong experience with APIs, backend systems, or platform integrations • Comfortable jumping between code, customer problems, and architecture decisions • Bias toward speed, iteration, and ownership • Clear communicator who can work directly with operators, CTOs, and execs • Motivated by building software that touches the physical world at scale Why This Role If you've wanted to join a high-velocity YC-backed startup redefining how logistics works worldwide — while getting to build and see your code operate inside real enterprise workflows — this is the one. Your work will touch millions of deliveries each month and help define Nash's engineering footprint across APAC. More about Nash Nash is the platform that powers modern logistics. Commerce has inverted. For decades, customers came to where products and services were. Now products and services come to them, on their terms, in real time. That shift has turned every company into a logistics company, even though almost none of them were built to be one. Couriers, fleets, gig workers, parcel carriers, in-store labor, and increasingly autonomous systems all have to be coordinated in real time, against tighter windows and rising expectations, with hard-fought customer trust on the line. Nash unifies decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable platform. Real-time, AI-native intelligence determines what should happen, operational control executes it, and the platform dynamically orchestrates capacity from any source: a company's own fleets, partners, or the Nash delivery network. Whether a job involves a courier, a gig driver, an internal fleet, a store employee, a technician, or an autonomous vehicle, Nash selects the right resource and manages execution through completion. We power delivery and logistics for some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, 7-Eleven, and Woolworths, alongside platforms like Shopify and Toast. Over the next decade, logistics will become as foundational to commerce as payments, cloud, and connectivity. Nash is the platform that powers it. Nash was founded in 2021 by Mahmoud Ghulman (2x Founder, MIT) and Aziz Alghunaim (2x Founder, 2x YC, Ex-Palantir, MIT) and is backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are headquartered in San Francisco. What You'll Love About Us ✅ Early-stage, well-funded startup – directly impact the company and grow your career! ✅ Quarterly broader team on-sites to bond with teammates ✅ Competitive compensation and opportunity for equity ✅ Flexible paid time off ✅ Health, dental, and vision insurance for US employees

Lifecycle & Email Marketing Manager Fresh Prints ' email channel is our oldest and highest-potential channel — and the one we've leveraged the least. We've built a strong technical foundation, but we're missing the layer that actually makes email work: content. Emails that land at the right moment, in the right way, and create real value for the people on our list. We're looking for someone who is first and foremost a great marketer — someone who understands what makes an email get opened, get read, and drive a click. You'll own both our campaign email and our full lifecycle program, and you'll extend that same craft into SMS as we build it into a real channel. This isn't a role where you inherit a machine and keep it running. You're building the content engine on top of the plumbing we already have. If you've been waiting for a channel with this much upside and this little baggage, this is it. This role is about: Owning every word that goes out — subject lines, body, CTAs — across email and SMS Turning a solid technical setup into a channel people actually look forward to hearing from Building lifecycle flows that feel like a conversation, not a drip someone got trapped in Writing for a college-age audience in a voice that feels made for them, not blasted at them Bringing a real point of view on performance — not just reading the numbers, but knowing what they're telling you to do next What You'll Own Campaign Email & SMS Content Own email and SMS conceptualization — final say on subject lines, preview text, headers, body, and CTAs across all of Fresh Prints ' major marketing moments Work with our brand and creative teams on design and copy so every send feels on-brand Develop a campaign content calendar that ladders into the broader marketing calendar, so email and SMS amplify the right message at the right time Own A/B testing for subject lines, content approaches, and CTAs — with the discipline to learn from the results and apply them Write messages that resonate with a college-age audience: content that feels like it's actually written for them, not generic marketing Lifecycle Program (Email & SMS) Own the strategy and content for Fresh Prints' lifecycle flows: welcome series for new subscribers, post-purchase nurture, cart and browse abandonment, re-engagement, and win-back — across email and SMS Audit the existing lifecycle program, identify gaps, underperforming flows, and moments in the customer journey where we're leaving engagement on the table Own segmentation: define the audiences and journey logic that decide who gets what, when Write and test improved lifecycle content, and build flows that feel like a conversation with the customer, not a sequence they got dropped into for checking a box Deliverability & Performance Monitor deliverability and engagement metrics — open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates, spam complaints, bounce rates — and maintain a healthy sender reputation Follow email and SMS deliverability best practices: list hygiene, warm-up protocols, segmentation for engaged vs. unengaged audiences, suppression management, and compliance Report on performance on a regular cadence — what's working, what isn't, and what you're changing based on the data Bring a point of view: not just "open rate was 28%," but "here's what that tells us about the subject-line approach, and here's what I'm testing next" Who You Are You're a strong marketer, and you know it. Your subject lines get opened. Your body copy gets read. Your CTAs get clicked. You have a feel for what makes someone actually engage with a message rather than glance at it before archiving. You understand lifecycle marketing at a real level — you know the difference between a nurture message and a conversion message, and you write them differently. You're fluent in email (and increasingly SMS) as a channel: you know what deliverability means, you care about list health, and you can look at an open rate and know whether it's a subject-line problem or a segmentation problem. You own your own output. Nobody has to check your sends before they go — you hold the standard yourself, and it stings when something ships with a mistake. You work well with technical partners, brand, and creative, and you can translate what Fresh Prints' audience cares about into messaging that lands. You're comfortable with data and let it sharpen your instincts rather than replace them. Requirements 4-8 years of experience in email, lifecycle, or CRM marketing, or a closely related role where writing was a primary responsibility Hands-on experience with an ESP or marketing automation platform (Iterable, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Braze, or similar); SMS platform experience a plus Demonstrated understanding of lifecycle programs: welcome series, post-purchase flows, re-engagement, cart abandonment, and the segmentation logic behind them Comfort with email/SMS performance metrics — open rate, CTR, unsubscribe rate, deliverability indicators — and the ability to draw real insight from them Basic HTML/CSS comfort for email (able to troubleshoot and adjust templates) Strong written communication — you write clearly and with personality, not in marketing speak Experience writing for a consumer audience is a strong plus; B2C or DTC background preferred over B2B or enterprise Details and other benefits Work From Home / Remote Competitive annual salary Learning opportunities Working in a great culture At Fresh Prints, we deeply value the long-term contributions of our team. To recognize and celebrate that commitment, we offer a 2-month paid Sabbatical to eligible employees Fresh Prints is an equal employment opportunity employer and promotes diversity, actively encouraging people of all backgrounds, ages, LGBTQ+, and those with disabilities to apply.

About Halter At Halter, we're on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations. Our customers are using Halter to break free from the time-intensive constraints of conventional practices. Imagine watching 500 cattle stand up and walk calmly towards their next break? No quad bikes, no dogs, no fences. Just a group of cattle walking at their own pace. People say it looks like magic. Our customers are revolutionizing grazing with Halter. It's changing lives and transforming an industry. People join Halter to do meaningful work. By joining us you'll be solving challenging problems within a talented team and a culture built for high performance. Our team out-think, out-work and out-care. We're committed to delivering real change in the world - this isn't easy, and in truth, we love that it's hard. We're backed to deliver on a mission that matters by Tier 1 investors including Founders Fund , Bessemer Venture Partners , BOND, DCVC , Blackbird , Promus Ventures , Rocket Lab's Peter Beck and Icehouse ventures . To find out more, visit our LinkedIn & Instagram . About the role We're searching for an exceptional marketing leader to grow Halter in Argentina and Uruguay - one of the biggest cattle regions in the world. You'll be building recognition for Halter's brand that reaches every farming community, with revenue performance to match. We're making our first moves on the ground and we need a senior leader to build the marketing foundation and be part of our core team. This role is a key driver of full-funnel revenue performance: acquisition, expansion, and retention, all through marketing. You're not running events and content on instruction or directive from HQ. You are accountable for the local marketing strategy to achieve our revenue outcomes. That means thinking like a revenue owner first, and a marketer second. Your job is to make sure marketing shows up as a genuine lever across that whole funnel: helping win new farmers, and also feeding the stories, proof points and community that keeps existing farmers expanding and retained. You, in tight collaboration with go-to-market leadership, will build this strategy, build the team to deliver against it, and own the demand and pipeline that drives Halter's growth for years to come. We want you to own marketing for this region. You will have full support from Halter's global marketing team based in New Zealand HQ, with the brand and strategic frameworks you need to do your job - think of this as our DNA and standardised thinking and that lets every region move fast without reinventing the wheel. We are building the feedback loop to take your feedback and wins, and globalise them, to make Halter's marketing brilliant in all of our key markets. But ultimately the buck stops with you in Argentina and Uruguay - acquire, expand and retain the best farms in one of the best farming regions globally. Who we are looking for: A full-funnel revenue thinker, not a channel specialist. You've owned acquisition, expansion, and retention outcomes, not just top-of-funnel demand generation. You think in pipeline and revenue contribution first, achieved through strategically driving brand awareness Deeply customer-led. You're energised by time on farm with cattle farmers, and you turn that firsthand understanding into commercial decisions such as messaging, proof points, and channel choices, not just generic content ideas. A builder and world-class operator. You will build and lead a high-performing, efficient team, ideally with experience scaling a marketing or growth function in a fast paced environment. You will be comfortable rolling your sleeves up and playing 'executor', while also knowing the right time to give space to your team to win (or loose) and learn from that experience Genuinely commercial. You're not just comfortable being measured on a revenue number - you demand it from yourself and your team. You move fast on real bets, you're allergic to decisions not backed by data, and you thrive on seeing real results in real time. First-principles by instinct . You use Halter's global frameworks because they're smart, not because you're told to, and you know exactly when the local market demands something different, and can make that case with evidence, not opinion. A strong operator across both brand and demand . You're equally comfortable in a tone-of-voice conversation and a CAC/ROI conversation, and you're able to move between the two with ease Comfortable with ambiguity. You'd rather own the outcome and figure out the path than wait for a fully specified brief. AI-forward as a default operating mode, not a tool you occasionally reach for. You and your team use AI to draft and iterate content, personalise outreach at a scale a human team couldn't match manually, and analyse campaign and funnel data faster than a traditional team would. You treat headcount as a last resort after you've pressure-tested what AI can already do, not the other way around. What the role looks like: Strategy & ownership: Own the marketing strategy and budget end to end, setting the vision and the plan to take Halter from early-market entry to category leadership and one of our largest revenue markets. Organic growth & content. Build content that compounds: SEO-driven farmer resources, owned channels, and organic social that establishes Halter as the trusted voice in cattle, not just a paid acquisition function. Events strategy. This sits at the heart of our territory manager regional model. You'll partner with sales leadership to decide which field days, expos, and farmer gatherings actually move pipeline in AU, and how they connect directly into the territory manager's patch and pipeline, not run as a separate marketing calendar. Case studies & proof . Build a library of farmer stories and results that do double duty: acquisition proof points for new farmers, and expansion/retention proof points for existing ones. Paid traffic. Work with the global Performance Marketing function running paid channels in-region with a sharp eye on customer acquisition costs (CAC) and pipeline contribution, not just reach or impressions. Enterprise motion. Support and drive the enterprise/larger-account pipeline in AU specifically, where the buying committee, proof requirements, and sales cycle look different from owner-operator farms. Accountability for the numbers: Own and report on pipeline, CAC, brand awareness and the complete revenue picture. Marketing is one of the most critical levers that sits right across the funnel, so it's expected you will design the marketing strategy around each metric from acquisition through to net dollar retention. Brand and tone of voice in-region. Use Halter's global brand as the foundation, and make the judgment calls on how it lands with Argentinian and Uruguayan farmers specifically: language, imagery, humour, what plays and what doesn't in this market. Objection handling through stories, not just spec sheets. Build ROI case studies and compelling storytelling, delivered through the right channels at the right point in the funnel, that neutralise the objections AU farmers actually raise (price, proof, switching risk), not generic feature messaging. Our Office First Approach: Humans are wired for connection. Being office first is a core pillar of our culture because in-person connections drive your growth, learning, impact, and relationships.
