Our mission is simple: make really high quality essentials for really low prices, fairly and sustainably. We deliver on that mission through a unique manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) model eliminating the layers of traditional retail that add cost and result in consumers paying more than they need to. We find, build relationships with, and work directly with the manufacturing partners behind some of the world's finest products. From there, our teams design smart, efficient operational processes and build and deploy proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to help us scale fast. We dream big and chase the hard problems others shy away from. Rejecting long-held assumptions is part of our company's DNA. Our pace is fast and the bar is high because our customers expect a lot from us and we refuse to let them down. We believe the best results come from challenging ourselves, learning from one another, and building on each other's strengths. Here, responsibility is not determined by role, tenure, or seniority. Every team member - no matter their level - has the opportunity to drive our business and shape our trajectory. Conduct analytics and root-cause analysis to identify opportunities for KPI improvement. Collaborate with sourcing to model vendor relationships, terms, and risk profiles. Build short-, mid-, and long-range inventory and replenishment plans that align with business strategy. Present forecasts, strategies, and performance updates weekly to executives. Experience prototyping inventory optimization techniques and converting insights into scalable technology. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to maximize opportunities and minimize risks. Strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Proven ability to find, organize, and use data to draw actionable conclusions with minimal assumptions. Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment where established processes may not yet exist. Preferred: Insatiable curiosity and a desire to uncover insights that drive results. About the role At Anthropic, we're building AI systems that are safe, beneficial, and transformative. Our mission is to develop AI that benefits humanity, and we believe the most powerful capabilities emerge when we thoughtfully bridge the gap between research breakthroughs and real-world applications. Claude is getting good at research. Given a well-posed problem, it can read the literature, write and run simulations, analyze results, and iterate on a design across physics, materials, chemistry, and engineering. But most of the hardest problems in science and engineering aren't well-posed. They live inside companies and labs with their own data, tools, constraints, and experts, and progress depends on turning all of that into work a model can actually do and check. Our Applied AI, Science & Engineering team takes Claude to the scientists and engineers working on hard problems in energy, materials, hardware design, and other physical-world fields. We build the tools  Claude needs to do real research and engineering work. Mostly that means software: the agent harnesses, integrations, evaluations, and working processes that turn a partner's problem into something Claude can make progress on and validate. We find real-world problems and test what we build through partner engagements, then feed our learnings back to our research and product teams. It's early, and the engineers who join now will shape how Claude gets applied to science and engineering. This is an engineering role first. You'll spend real time with domain experts, become the person who knows how to get Claude working in their field, and prototype quickly alongside them. Most of your time, though, goes into building and hardening the systems that make that work repeatable, not into writing recommendations or configuring someone else's product. A science or engineering background is a big plus, but what matters most is that you can earn the trust of expert researchers, turn a fuzzy problem into something concrete and checkable, and ship. Responsibilities Build the agent harnesses and research loops that let Claude carry a problem from literature review through hypothesis generation, simulation, analysis, and design iteration Connect scientific computing and simulation tools (finite element, CFD, electromagnetic, or molecular modeling codes, for example) so Claude can drive them reliably and at scale Design and build evaluations that tell us whether Claude's work is actually right, and be honest about where it isn't Sit with scientists and engineers at partner organizations to learn their problem, data, tools, and constraints, and turn open-ended questions into well-specified, verifiable tasks with clear success criteria Prototype with partners, ship pilots into their workflows, and cut anything that doesn't move the problem forward Turn what works in one engagement into shared tools, reusable components, and documented processes the next one can start from Be the technical voice on how Claude performs on science and engineering work, explaining results, limits, and tradeoffs clearly to researchers, engineering leads, and non-technical stakeholders alike Partner with our research and product teams to share where models fall short on science and engineering work, and help shape what comes next You may be a good fit if you Have 8+ years of experience building software, with strong engineering fundamentals and comfort across the stack, from data pipelines to tooling to quick interfaces Have built real systems with large language models, including agents, tool use, or evaluations Have worked on technical problems in a science or engineering field, such as physics, materials, chemistry, or electrical or mechanical engineering Have a track record of zero-to-one work in startup or startup-like environments\ Can work directly with expert users, understand their workflows deeply, and still keep the focus on building the right system rather than the one first requested Have good judgment about what can and can't be verified, and are comfortable saying a result isn't good enough yet Bring high agency, pick up new domains quickly, and hold strong opinions loosely Communicate clearly with researchers, engineers, and external partners, and care about the societal impacts of your work Strong candidates may also have An advanced degree or research experience in a physical science or engineering field Hands-on experience with scientific computing and simulation, numerical methods, or optimization Experience in industrial R&D, a national lab, or a deep-tech company in areas like energy, materials, manufacturing, or hardware Experience building alongside customers or technical partners, for example in forward-deployed, applied AI, or solutions engineering roles, ideally where you also owned the software that came out of it Experience with ML research, RL environments, or evaluation design Candidates need not have 100% of the skills listed above Formal certifications or education credentials Expertise in every scientific domain we work in Direct machine learning or AI research experience Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $405,000 — $485,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role New hires join Anthropic every week; their first days here shape how they understand our mission and culture, and help to accelerate their time to productivity. We're looking for a Program Manager to own the live delivery of our new hire onboarding program, so that every cohort, whatever its size or timing, gets an experience that is well run, welcoming, and grounded in what makes Anthropic distinctive. You'll own our San Francisco onboarding program end to end: facilitating sessions, overseeing the operating rhythm behind each cohort, and orchestrating across Recruiting, People Services, Workplace, IT, and the many presenters who bring the program to life. You'll work within our overall onboarding strategy and program design, and your job is to deliver our live onboarding program reliably, week after week, while spotting where the experience can get better and feeding those insights into how the program evolves. This role suits someone who loves the craft of running a great program: the preparation, the moments in the room, and the systems that make it all repeatable at scale. You'll do well here if you stay calm when plans change, care deeply about the details that shape a first impression, and bring warmth and clarity to a room of people on their first day. This role requires being in the office at least two days a week – on all programming days and as needed otherwise. Key responsibilities Own weekly program delivery: Run each onboarding cohort from pre-arrival readiness through program close, so every cohort gets a consistent, high-quality experience Facilitate live sessions: Serve as the primary facilitator and host for every cohort, setting the tone for new hires and keeping the program on time and on message Support presenters and facilitators: Brief and prepare the speakers, panelists, and backup facilitators who deliver program content, so sessions land well regardless of who is in the room; deliver feedback as needed and support content iteration Oversee cross-functional execution: Partner closely with the NHO coordinator to coordinate across Recruiting, People Services, Workplace, IT, and AV, so that start dates, device readiness, rooms, catering, and communications come together each week Set the weekly operating rhythm: Prioritize and sequence program logistics and coordination work each week, making sure nothing falls through the cracks Support improvements to the program's operating system: Partner closely with the NHO coordinator to improve run-of-show documents, checklists, playbooks, and automations that make the program repeatable, reduce single points of failure, and flex with variable cohort sizes Track program health: Monitor operational and experience metrics via new hire feedback, surface trends and friction points, and bring recommendations that inform program design and priorities Drive content improvement: Based on new hire feedback and company needs, work with facilitators and the broader onboarding team to iterate on and improve program content over time Plan ahead for what could change: Anticipate cohort size swings, holidays, space constraints, and last-minute changes, with contingency plans ready before they're needed Minimum qualifications Interest in Anthropic's mission and in helping new hires connect their work to it Extensive experience owning the end-to-end delivery of a recurring program, event series, or training program with many stakeholders Advanced experience facilitating or presenting to large groups, in person and virtually Strong project management skills, including building and running timelines, trackers, and checklists in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) or similar tools Working proficiency with Slack and Google Workspace Exceptional written and verbal communication, including communications for audiences ranging from new hires to senior leaders Demonstrated ability to coordinate across teams without formal authority to meet fixed, recurring deadlines Preferred qualifications Experience running onboarding, orientation, or learning and development programs in a fast-growing organization Experience scaling a program's cadence or volume, such as moving from biweekly to weekly delivery, while maintaining quality Experience building workflows or automations with AI tools like Claude to reduce manual work Familiarity with program measurement, including survey tools (such as Qualtrics), feedback analysis, and reporting on program metrics Experience managing a bench or rotation of presenters, facilitators, or volunteer contributors The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $240,000 — $240,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. About the role Claude is becoming the AI layer inside the platforms where enterprises already work. Our partnership with Salesforce — anchored by Claudeforce — is the first and largest example, and a growing roster of strategic technology partners is following the same path: making Claude the front door to their products for millions of users. As Field Marketing Manager, Tech Partnerships, you will own the ongoing comarketing relationship with these strategic tech partners. You will be the single marketing point of contact for each partner's marketing organization, build and run the joint marketing plan, manage shared marketing funds, and turn large partnership agreements into pipeline-generating field programs — exec summits at partner flagship events, joint workshops, enablement moments, and co-branded activations around the world. Key responsibilities Own the day-to-day comarketing relationship with strategic tech partners, starting with Salesforce: be the one consistent Anthropic marketing voice your partner counterparts plan with, and keep both sides working from a single joint plan Build joint marketing plans with each partner, with goals and success metrics agreed before any shared funds are committed Manage joint marketing development funds (MDF): allocation across programs, spend tracking, compliance with partnership terms, and reporting on what the investment returned Design and execute flagship joint moments — executive summits and sessions at partner events (e.g., Dreamforce, World Tours), joint customer workshops, partner sales kickoff enablement, and co-hosted executive dinners Extend partner programs through the broader ecosystem, including joint activations with shared systems-integrator and consulting partners Measure what matters: partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, program-level attribution, and a partnership marketing health scorecard built with Marketing Ops Protect the brand: apply comarketing guidelines, run messaging and asset approvals in both directions, and know when to say no to a partner ask Operate as connective tissue across Anthropic: Partner Marketing, Partnerships/Business Development, segment field marketers, Product Marketing, Events, and Comms all touch these relationships. You keep them coordinated and the partner experience coherent Minimum qualifications Ownership of a comarketing relationship with a large strategic partner: a hyperscaler, a major SaaS platform, or an equivalent, including joint planning and MDF management A track record of executive-level field programs: summits, flagship-event activations, C-level dinners, and roadshows, with the pipeline to show for them Strong relationship-building skills: able to earn trust with partner marketing leaders while holding Anthropic's line on brand, messaging, and spend Comfort building in ambiguity: the playbook for this motion is being written now, and you'll write much of it Rigor on measurement: fluent in pipeline attribution with sales and ops counterparts Preferred qualifications 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant time in field, partner, or alliance marketing at a technology company Experience on both sides of a platform partnership (at the platform and at the ISV/partner) Familiarity with the AI ecosystem and how enterprises adopt AI products Experience running programs at global scale across multiple regions and event series Experience working with or marketing through global systems integrators The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $255,000 — $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the role AI is changing both sides of the security equation, and Anthropic is focused on putting frontier AI capabilities in the hands of defenders. Cybersecurity is a fast-growing area for Anthropic, spanning enterprise security teams that adopt Claude for their own security work and security companies that build their products on our models. The buyers are demanding and data-driven, from CISOs to hands-on practitioners in security engineering, application security, security operations, threat intelligence, and incident response. As Field Marketing Lead, Cybersecurity, you will lead Anthropic's field marketing for the cybersecurity audience around the world, helping position Claude as the trusted AI partner for security teams. You will align closely with the sales organization, develop the marketing strategies and tools the field needs, and partner with Anthropic's cybersecurity experts in product marketing, solutions marketing, and across the business to turn their positioning and messaging into programs and campaigns. You will be the cybersecurity lead that our campaigns and regional field marketing teams draw on, working with customers in every segment and with a focus on expanding within existing accounts. You will make sure that how we show up to CISOs, practitioners, and the buying committee is credible, consistent, and tied to revenue, whether in a global campaign, an executive roundtable, or a flagship industry event. Location: this is a global role, with a preference for candidates based in San Francisco or New York. Key responsibilities Own the global cybersecurity field marketing plan: define how we reach CISOs, practitioners, and the buying committee in every customer segment, the annual program calendar, and the goals and success metrics agreed with sales leadership before budget is committed Align with the sales organization worldwide: agree on target accounts and buying committees, build programs that expand Anthropic's footprint in existing accounts and open new opportunities, and make sure account teams have what they need to invite, follow up, and convert Partner with product marketing, solutions marketing, and Anthropic's cybersecurity experts: build on their positioning, messaging, and enablement, and work with them to turn cyber use cases into the programs and campaigns that build awareness and demand Develop the marketing strategies and tools the field needs: playbooks, program kits, speaker guidance, and event recommendations that let regional field marketers in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC run cybersecurity programs locally without starting from scratch Design and run flagship cybersecurity moments in the field: executive roundtables, CISO dinners, practitioner workshops, and Anthropic's field presence around major industry events such as RSAC, Black Hat, Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit, and Infosecurity Europe, in step with the launch, content, and thought leadership plans led by product and solutions marketing Serve as the cybersecurity field lead for integrated campaigns: bring audience insight, field feedback, and program ideas, and extend global campaigns into regional programs so they land with CISOs, practitioners, and the rest of the buying committee Bring the voice of the security buyer back into Anthropic: share what you hear from customers, analysts, and the field with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership Measure what matters: sourced and influenced pipeline, expansion within existing accounts, program-level attribution, and a clear read on which programs earn more investment, built with Marketing Ops Protect the brand with a skeptical audience: hold a high bar for technical accuracy, keep the story focused on defenders and responsible deployment, avoid fear-based messaging, and know when to say no to a program that would not earn trust Operate as connective tissue across Anthropic: Sales, Campaigns, regional Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Partner Marketing, Partnerships, Events, and Comms all touch this audience. You keep them coordinated and the customer experience coherent Minimum qualifications Working fluency in the cybersecurity landscape, across areas such as security operations, detection and response, threat intelligence, application security, vulnerability management, cloud security, and governance, risk and compliance, with enough technical depth to hold a credible conversation with both CISOs and hands-on practitioners A track record of partnering with sales teams on pipeline and on expansion within existing accounts, including account-based programs and executive engagement, with results to show for them Experience across both integrated campaigns and field marketing, and the judgment to know which one a given goal calls for Experience operating globally: you have led programs across multiple regions and enabled local teams to run them well Strong influence without authority: able to set direction for campaigns and regional field marketers who do not report to you Comfort building in ambiguity: the playbook for this motion is being written now, and you'll write much of it Rigor on measurement: fluent in pipeline attribution with sales and ops counterparts Experience working alongside product marketing and technical experts, and turning their positioning and messaging into field programs and campaigns Range across customer segments: you can adapt a program for a large enterprise, a mid-size company, and a fast-growing startup Preferred qualifications 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant time in field marketing or demand generation for cybersecurity buyers at a security vendor or an enterprise technology company Hands-on background in security, such as time as a practitioner, sales engineer, or product marketer for a security product Familiarity with the AI ecosystem and how enterprises adopt AI products, including how AI is changing security work for defenders Experience marketing trust-sensitive or dual-use products, where responsible deployment is central to the story Existing relationships in the security community: CISO networks, analysts, industry groups, and event organizers Experience marketing to regulated industries or public sector buyers, where security review shapes the deal Experience working with security technology partners, managed security service providers (MSSPs), or global systems integrators The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $320,000 — $400,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship:  We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us.
