Senior Fraud & Risk Analyst (f/m/x)
Full TimeOn-siteSenior
sqlcfaaccountingrisk managementkycaml

Your Mission exmox is an organization designed for rapid expansion, prioritizing results over complacency. By joining us, you enter a high-stakes global arena, tackling complex challenges that demand continuous professional growth. We operate with high velocity, eliminating distractions to concentrate on critical outcomes - as efficiency is our competitive edge. Our focus remains on developing top-tier consumer products within the mobile gaming sector, specifically driving innovation through rewarded user acquisition at scale. We're looking for a Senior Fraud & Risk Analyst to strengthen exmox's fraud prevention and risk management capabilities. You'll bring hands-on experience detecting and mitigating fraud across different types of organizations, and you'll play a hybrid role: partnering closely with exmox's Fraud Analytics Team Lead on strategic initiatives, while also supporting the operations side through process changes, rollouts, and analysis. What You'll Own: Investigate, analyze, and mitigate fraud patterns across user acquisition, transactions, and account activity, with particular attention to reward-based and incentivized user acquisition channels (offerwalls, referral programs, cashback/rewards mechanics) where fraud vectors are especially prevalent. Design and refine fraud detection rules, heuristics, and monitoring dashboards to catch emerging abuse patterns early. Support the Fraud Analytics Team Lead in planning and executing risk initiatives - contributing analysis, recommendations, and follow-through on action items. Act as a reliable second-in-command on risk management matters, able to step in for the Team Lead on ongoing projects, stakeholder updates, or urgent decisions when they are unavailable. Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and support teams to close fraud gaps and improve detection systems. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, quantify fraud exposure, and report findings and recommendations to leadership. Document policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for fraud and risk workflows. What You Bring Relevant experience in fraud management or risk analysis, ideally with exposure to both a large/corporate environment and a fast-moving scale-up - you understand how fraud programs differ in maturity, tooling, and pace across those settings. Direct experience with reward-based user acquisition fraud (offerwalls, referral abuse, incentivized installs, multi-accounting, device farms) is a strong plus. Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with SQL and large datasets to investigate patterns and validate hypotheses. Demonstrated ability to operate with a degree of ownership - comfortable proposing and driving initiatives, not just executing tasks. Experience contributing to risk/fraud strategy - running A/B tests, impact analysis, and stress testing to validate ideas. Experience supporting or deputizing for a manager/Team Lead, with the judgment to know when to escalate versus decide independently. Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical fraud findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with fraud detection tooling and risk management frameworks. Nice to have: Background in policy design or risk governance frameworks. Relevant certifications such as CFE, CFCS, CAMS, CRISC, CFA, and/or FRM. Working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks - e.g. GDPR, PSD2/SCA, AML/KYC principles, and PCI-DSS basics where payment data is processed. How We Win Speed is the feature. Speed beats rocket science. We move fast, test fast, and multiply our pace with AI, because action creates information and small wins compound. A fast failure is a lesson we learn from, a slow one is a problem we can't afford. Focus on the essential. Done is better than perfect. We stay focused on what actually moves us forward and protect people's time from anything that doesn't. We're direct in how we communicate too, no rambling, no unnecessary detail. See it. Own it. Solve it. The first to see it is best placed to fix it. We're not a place for comfort, we're a place for doers. "Not my job" isn't in our vocabulary, if you spot something, you help make sure it gets solved. Respect others. Trust multiplies. Respect is non-negotiable. We disagree with ideas, never with people. Trust here is built the same way it is anywhere, through consistency, a thank you, a moment of listening, and owning your mistakes. Perks that help you focus on what matters. Transport subsidy, learning budget, wellness and gym, workation, bi-weekly team lunches, and more. The perks are great, but the real reason people join and stay is the challenge, the ownership, and the drive to win together. Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday! Build something that truly matters At Cortea , we envision a world where every audit is proactively managed by humans and AI agents collaboratively . Where auditing professionals have superhuman capabilities at their fingertips to strengthen the trust in the world's most critical systems. We're not just improving auditing workflows, we're redefining how audits are done from the ground up. With a rapidly growing, global customer base and backing from world-class investors, the market is ready. What we ship next decides how big this gets. This is your chance to join a team of sharp, ambitious and kind builders extremely early. Shape the company at its pivotal moment and build something that truly matters . About the role At Cortea, design earns trust, and we sell to an industry that exists to produce it. Auditors are paid to be skeptical, and people judge quality by what they can see: the product, the website, the deck a partner opens in a boardroom, the newsletter someone reads with their first coffee. All of it is Cortea. This is a role for someone with great taste in designing software and AI systems. You'll find novel patterns for problems that haven't existed in software before, and you'll own how Cortea looks and feels to the outside world. Roughly 70% product, 30% brand . The product work is deep, expert-facing and systems-heavy. As we are doubling down on design, you'll be working on taking the core flows to the next level. The brand work is yours to own outright: website, marketing and sales visuals, newsletter, event and content assets. It'll be on screen in a Big4 boardroom, in every customer's inbox, and on the wall at the events we host. A lot of surface for one designer, and all of it yours. We're not looking for someone to ask whether the logo goes left or right. We're looking for someone with opinions. What you'll do Work directly with our founders, engineers, and customers to turn audit flows into intuitive, delightful interfaces Work with Jonas on product design and design strategy overall Own our brand designs and visuals Evolve our visual identity and design system Take increasing ownership of brand direction. Website, marketing and sales material, content and event assets Help shape the product vision, roadmap, and user experience standards Run usability tests, build user feedback loops, and bring a systems mindset to design decisions You'll be great at this if you Have product design experience in B2B / SaaS , ideally in fast-moving startups. Think in experiences, not screens. With taste you can defend. Product and brand are one surface; you can explain why details work, and you call out when they don't. Want to create a unique brand, which auditors love . Identify, marketing, web should be a draw, not a tax. Taste and passion matter more than volume. Can hold complexity without losing clarity. You turn configuration-heavy, expert workflows into clear systems. Use AI without sacrificing quality. You've worked out which parts of the job benefit from automation and which need your judgment. Work well in ambiguity. You take rough direction and deliver great work without handholding. Have low ego. Best idea wins. You give and take feedback without making it about you. Titles are fuzzy. If you're operating at principal level, or you're currently freelancing and curious rather than actively looking, talk to us anyway. What you will get Full brand ownership, shape how the product feels . Work face-to-face with experienced founders and learn directly from customer insights. Real influence on strategy . In a small team of excellent engineers and operators with high autonomy, you will shape product direction. Best idea wins, regardless of seniority. Fast, ambitious, and fun team . Decisions get made in hours, not weeks. Rapid experimentation is the default. Meaningful equity and competitive salary . You are one of the first to build this, and you share in the upside. A mission that matters. Your mission deskbird is one of Europe's fastest-growing workplace-management platforms – a SaaS success story serving hundreds of enterprise customers and building the operating system for the workplace of the future, well past €10M ARR and scaling with an efficiency-driven playbook. In 2025 we closed a funding round led by Octopus Ventures, with co-investments from NEVA SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank) and AVP, and participation from Alstin Capital, session, and Portfolion. We're hiring a Chief Financial Officer (all genders) to be a true co-pilot to the management team. This is not just a back-office finance role. You will sit in board meetings from day one, own the equity story, lead our future financing rounds and capital markets strategy, and run an AI-first operations function that becomes a case study in how lean a modern finance organization can be. You'll join a small, talented, highly ambitious executive team – and the equity package is designed so that when we win, you win meaningfully. If you are passionate about creating enterprise value, scaling finance organizations, and owning the story you used to analyze – this is that seat. In this role you will The equity story and funding readiness. You will keep deskbird in the best possible shape for whatever comes next - future financing rounds, strategic options, and long-term value creation. Narrative, metrics, data room, diligence readiness: always current, always credible. When we choose to run a process, you will lead it, working directly with the founders and board. The path to profitability. You'll own the plan that takes us to sustainable positive cash flows profitability without sacrificing growth: driver-based planning, disciplined capital allocation, and a sharp view on where every franc and euro works hardest. An AI-first finance & operations function. We want a hands-on operator on the edge of AI development who automates before hiring, works in the models and tools personally, and proves that a lean, AI-augmented team can outperform a traditional org several times its size. We don't want a CFO who builds a 20-person department. Commercial intelligence for GTM and Product. You'll drive the insights that tell us where to invest: which segments, motions, and product bets deliver the strongest combined growth and efficiency profile. Finance at deskbird is a value driver in pricing, packaging, NRR economics, and unit-economics decisions - not just a scorekeeper. International structure and tax efficiency. You'll own our multi-entity group structure across Europe, introduce transfer pricing, and ensure we operate in a tax-efficient, fully compliant setup as we scale internationally. The cap table and investor-grade financials. You'll keep our cap table and VSOP clean, well-modeled, and always ready for the next financing round, and bring our accounting to the standard any institutional investor expects - SaaS revenue recognition (local GAAP) done right, smooth statutory audits, and, where a future process demands it, conversion to the relevant GAAP. Board and investor relations. You'll run the reporting rhythm, build trust with our existing investors, and represent deskbird credibly to future ones - from day one, alongside the founders. Cash, risk, and the operational backbone. Treasury, FX, and runway discipline, scenario planning, audit readiness, and oversight of legal, procurement, and insurance. What you need to be successful Must-haves A transaction-shaped career: ideally PE, M&A or investment banking, followed by operating experience in a scaling company - you've seen deals from the inside and know what investors actually sign up for. (Exceptional candidates from transaction advisory (e.g. Big4) or top-tier strategy consulting with strong deal exposure will also be considered.) Deep fluency in finance processes and B2B SaaS mechanics: ARR/NRR, cohort economics, CAC payback, Rule of 40, the ARR-to-cash bridge. Experience at our scale and complexity (>€10M ARR, ~100+ employees) - and ideally, you've already seen what comes next (>€25M ARR), so you know what to build now and what to deliberately skip. Fundraising and/or liquidity event exposure , ideally where the story was efficient, profitable growth rather than growth at all costs. A builder's ego profile: you measure yourself by enterprise value created per person on your team, not by headcount or budget owned. You're hands-on and want to stay that way. Genuine excitement about AI-native ways of working - you're already using these tools daily and want to push further. Based in or willing to work from one of our hubs - Zurich, Berlin, Munich, or London (remote within Europe is possible for an outstanding candidate, but hub-based is our strong preference given the closeness to founders and board). Full working proficiency in English; German is strongly preferred. Nice to have Experience owning or partnering closely with People & Culture. Multi-entity European operations: Swiss/EU accounting, VAT, transfer pricing, cross-border payroll. Venture debt, structured financing, or buy-side M&A experience. What's in it for you? A rare stage - big enough to matter (>€10M ARR, enterprise customers, proven playbook), small enough that your fingerprints will be on everything. Meaningful equity upside - a package built for a founder-like profile in a capital-efficient business, where the value you help create is value you share in. A real seat at the table - board meetings from day one, direct partnership with the founders, and full ownership of your domain. An AI-first culture - the freedom (and expectation) to build the most modern finance function in European SaaS. A high-talent, low-ego executive team that moves fast and debates openly. Marketing Lead
NylonLondon, Germany41 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteLead
accataxtradinglegal researchseocrm+4

Own marketing at an AI legal research company that already has 1,900+ firms as customers. Nylon is an AI-native tax and legal research platform used by 1,900+ accountancy and law firms across the UK, Australia and New Zealand. We were the first product accredited by ICAEW in the Legal Information and Research Software category, and we hold an ACCA affiliation. The UK business has been built almost entirely on outbound sales. It works, and it has taken us a long way. Now we want a second engine, and you would be the person who builds it. This is our first dedicated marketing hire in the UK. There is no team beneath you yet and no playbook to inherit. There is a working sales motion, a product accountants and lawyers actually use, strong accreditation credentials, and a founder-led company that moves quickly. You will set the marketing strategy and then do most of the work yourself. What you'll own Pipeline. SEO and content, paid search and LinkedIn, email nurture, webinars and free-trial campaigns. Your number is qualified pipeline handed to our SDR and AE team, and you will be measured on it. Brand and content. Sharpen how Nylon shows up in the UK accountancy and legal market: website, thought leadership, case studies, PR and awards, and the marketing side of our ICAEW and ACCA relationships. Product marketing. Own the messaging. Turn what the product does into language that lands with a tax partner or a managing partner, keep our positioning against incumbent research providers sharp, and equip the sales team with battlecards, decks and one-pagers. Events and community. Get us in front of the right people: ICAEW and ACCA events, industry conferences, our own roundtables and customer community. Some travel within the UK. Measurement. Set up attribution and reporting in our CRM (Attio) so we know what is working, and kill what is not. What we're looking for 5–8 years in B2B marketing, with at least a few of those in SaaS or a subscription product, ideally selling to professional services (accountancy, legal, financial services). You have built something from little or nothing before: a demand-gen function, a content programme, a launch. You are comfortable being the strategist and the person executing at 4pm on a Thursday. Fluent in the tools: SEO and analytics, paid search and paid social, marketing automation and CRM, and the AI tools that make a small team punch above its weight. You write well. Clearly, quickly, without fluff. Most of what marketing produces is words, and ours need to be credible to accountants and lawyers. Commercially minded. You care about pipeline and revenue, not vanity metrics, and you enjoy working shoulder to shoulder with a sales team. Curious about AI and about how professional services firms are changing. You do not need a legal or tax background, but you need to be able to learn the market fast. Nice to have: experience marketing to accountants or lawyers; familiarity with ICAEW, ACCA or Law Society ecosystems; hands-on experience with webinar programmes or partnership marketing. What we offer £55,000–£70,000 base, depending on experience Real ownership: you set the strategy, you get the budget, you build the team as we grow A product customers rely on daily and a market that is being reshaped by AI right now A small, fast, international team across the UK, Australia and New Zealand Please send a CV and, instead of a cover letter, one page on how you would generate qualified pipeline for Nylon in your first 90 days. Nylon is the trading name of Law Cyborg Limited. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from everyone. You must have the right to work in the UK. accountingtaxcoachingsalessaas salespartnerships+2

Job Description: About Us Nylon is rebuilding how professional advice gets made. Not built for accountants and lawyers — built with them. We work alongside firms that cannot afford to be wrong. They expect precision, speed and an answer they can put their name to, and we hold ourselves to the same bar. Our platform turns tax and accounting research that used to take hours into minutes, and powers the end-to-end workflow around it. We are firmly established in the UK, working with tax and accounting firms across the country, with clients across professional services in Australia and New Zealand and partnerships with the professional bodies our prospects already belong to. We are now opening the United States. Joining Nylon means three things. We move first: high agency over waiting for permission, outcomes over intentions. We hold the bar: direct, ego-free feedback and standards that do not slip when it is busy. We learn out loud: what you work out on the phone today, the whole team uses tomorrow. Small team. Real ownership. No passengers. If you are driven by pace, mastery, and being early to something that is about to get very big — this is the place. What You'll Do Own the phone. Cold call decision-makers at professional services firms and book qualified meetings for our sales team. Open a new market. Work a UK-led patch that now includes early-stage outreach into the US — all inside a normal Brighton working day. Run a tight rhythm. Call blocks, follow-ups and clean pipeline hygiene, executed the same way every day. Learn the product properly. Our products are new and genuinely complex; knowing how firms actually get value from them is the job, not a nice-to-have. Sharpen the message. Learn our ICP and messaging fast, then make both better through iteration and feedback. Research like an analyst. Use trusted sources to understand prospects, personalise outreach and lift conversion. Feed the machine. Share what you hear on calls so we can tighten targeting and positioning. What You Bring Extreme motivation to master selling. You want to be the best in the world at this, and you are prepared for what that takes. High agency. You find the way through rather than waiting to be told. A strong verbal game. Clear, concise, human — and comfortable being the first voice a partner hears that week. Resilience. No does not slow you down. Pace. We move fast, so you learn and adapt fast. Coachability. You take direct feedback and apply it the same day. Your academic background is not essential. What you can demonstrate is. What's In It For You Warm ground to work from. Accounts Receivable Accountant
trawaBerlin HQ, Germany41 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid
gortriageconcreteaccountingaccounts receivable+5

Accounts Receivable Accountant Permanent employee · Full-time · Berlin (HQ) Our Mission For You Own the process that turns invoices into cash, and shape how trawa's Finance function scales with our customer base. trawa enables mid-sized industrial and commercial companies to access green, intelligent energy. We're in a hyper-growth phase in one of the most complex markets in Germany. It's a rare moment to join: the foundations are being built right now, the problems are real, and the room to shape how Finance runs at scale is wide open. This is one of the most critical roles in the company. Cash is what enables trawa's growth, and you own the process that protects it. Every reconciliation you close, every overdue account you resolve, every dispute you clean up feeds directly into how fast we can move. As our Accounts Receivable Accountant, you'll own the end-to-end AR and collections process. You'll be the person customers talk to when something on an invoice isn't clear, and the person internally who makes sure open items don't stay open. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Business Operations, and our Finance team. If you're excited by ownership, an AI-first way of working, and building something that actually matters, this is your role. What You'll Own Collections and Dunning Own the collections cadence end-to-end: monitor AR aging, prioritise the highest-impact accounts, and drive them to resolution via email and phone. Reduce DSO measurably. You set the pace, we give you the tools and the mandate. Manage our dunning process reliably and with the right tone: firm on cash, respectful of the customer relationshipDebitorenbuchhaltung und operative Prozesse. Reconciliation and Cash Application Reconcile incoming payments against open invoices, investigate and resolve unapplied cash, short-pays, and discrepancies. Run structured reconciliations reliably, and independently drive ad-hoc analyses for complex payments or edge cases. Support month-end close with AR reconciliations and clean aging reports. Ticket Ownership and Customer Interaction Take ownership of our AR ticket queue, which is currently high-volume and one of the most visible pain points across the company. You get on top of it, categorise what's coming in, and resolve the majority of tickets directly. Be the go-to Finance contact for customers on all relevant topics: invoicing, payments, and account requests. Work closely with Customer Success and BizOps to resolve customer issues end-to-end and make sure Finance topics don't get stuck between teams. Who You Are Must-haves 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Credit Control, or a comparable Finance role. Ideally in a high-volume and complex B2B environment Solid understanding of AR processes: dunning, cash application, reconciliations, and month-end AR work. Confident with customers in writing and on the phone. You can be firm on cash without damaging the relationship. Strong ownership mindset. You don't wait for someone to flag a problem. You spot it, dig into the root cause, and drive it to resolution across stakeholders. Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented. You keep complex open items straight without losing the bigger picture. Business fluent in English and solid written German (customer correspondence in German needs to work reliably). Spoken German is a strong plus but not required. Comfortable in the standard office and analytics toolset (Excel or Google Sheets) and able to navigate independently. Nice-to-haves A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a comparable field, or a solid vocational qualification (e.g. Bilanzbuchhalter:in IHK, Steuerfachangestellte:r, kaufmännische Ausbildung). We care about what you can do, not the badge on your CV. Experience with AI-powered reconciliation tools or modern ticketing systems. Genuine curiosity for AI and automation. Bonus if you've already used Langdock, Claude, or similar tools to speed up your own work. Experience in a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment. Your First 90 Days Month 1: Understand Understand trawa's business model, customer base, and billing logic, including what makes energy billing genuinely complex Map our AR process end-to-end (invoicing, collections, cash application, close) and get to know your key counterparts in Customer Success, BizOps, and Accounting Take over recurring work: ticket triage, aging analysis, dunning follow-ups Month 2: Take Ownership Run the AR cycle largely independently: aging monitored proactively, customer follow-ups sent on time, accounts reconciled cleanly Contribute to your first month-end close reliably and on time Identify one concrete process gap in collections, reconciliation, or ticket handling, and come with a plan to fix it Month 3: Build and Improve You're the reliable Finance point of contact for customer-facing AR topics. The ticket backlog is under control and issues get resolved before they escalate DSO is trending in the right direction and month-end contributions are delivered without follow-up You've shipped at least one meaningful process improvement and can point to its impact You're actively shaping how our AR processes scale as trawa's customer base grows Why trawa? Direct collaboration with Finance leadership and cross-functional leaders from day one. Short paths, real decisions, real ownership A uniquely complex business at the intersection of energy, software, and B2B operations. You'll learn a lot, fast An AI-first and automation-first Finance team. You'll set up scalable processes and drive them forward through process automation and larger tool implementations. Real room to grow as trawa scales, your scope grows with the company. Flexible working, 30 vacation days, L&D budget, competitive compensation, VSOPs (share package), meal vouchers, Urban Sports Club membership, and a vibrant office culture in Berlin Diversity at trawa Everyone is welcome here. We are committed to building an inclusive workplace that values diversity, and we encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, physical or neurodiverse background. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. We value ownership, learning speed, and aren't hunger over a perfect CV. Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
