Applied Intuition, Inc. is powering the future of physical AI. Founded in 2017 and now valued at $15 billion, the Silicon Valley company is creating the digital infrastructure needed to bring intelligence to every moving machine on the planet. Applied Intuition services the automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining and agriculture industries in three core areas: tools and infrastructure, operating systems, and autonomy. Eighteen of the top 20 global automakers, as well as the United States military and its allies, trust the company's solutions to deliver physical intelligence. Applied Intuition is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, with offices in Washington, D.C.; San Diego; Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; Ann Arbor, Michigan; London; Stuttgart; Munich; Stockholm; Bangalore; Seoul; and Tokyo. Learn more at applied.co . We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that full-time employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions About the role We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner in EMEA, supporting employees across Germany, Sweden, England, and other emerging geographies. You'll partner directly with country leaders at a company where the region is growing quickly, decisions are made in days, and priorities shift. You'll lead through influence, building trust with leaders in the region and with the People team at HQ in Sunnyvale, California. You are the senior People leader for the region, and the People function for EMEA runs through you. You'll own end-to-end People programs in every area starting at onboarding, and you'll be ready to direct stakeholders across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding through exit: regional leaders, managers, HQ People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, and local advisors and vendors. You set the priorities, assign the owners, and drive each issue to resolution. We expect our PBPs to lead with high agency, and this role carries that expectation further than any other. You'll set the regional People agenda, make the calls, and drive outcomes the way a regional Chief People Officer would, with specialist partners at HQ to pull in when you need them. Location: Munich, Germany Reports to: Chief People Officer At Applied Intuition, you will: Be the senior People leader and business strategist for EMEA. Understand where the regional business is going and bring leaders a clear point of view, with the tradeoffs of each option laid out. Translate business goals into talent decisions: org design, workforce planning, leveling, and succession. Use data to spot attrition risk, capability gaps, and structural problems before the business feels them, and treat your leaders as customers whose success is your measure. Lead end-to-end People programs for the region. Own the employee experience across the region: onboarding, payroll and benefits coordination, leave, compensation, performance, engagement, and employee relations, working within local employment requirements. Be scrappy when the moment calls for it: where infrastructure doesn't exist yet, build a working version yourself and refine it as you go. Direct stakeholders across the employee lifecycle. Take the lead with HQ People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Total Rewards, and local advisors and vendors. Set priorities by risk, impact, and reversibility, assign owners and deadlines, and stay on each issue until the employee or manager has a complete answer. Build self-service resources, manager guides, and clear escalation paths so the regional People function doesn't depend on any one person. Connect Sunnyvale and EMEA. Make sure regional perspectives are part of global decisions early, and make global programs work locally. Know what has to stay consistent worldwide and what should flex by country, and bring HQ recommendations with the tradeoffs laid out, not just concerns. Treat each country in the region as its own environment, not as one market. Lead the region through growth and change. Support expansion into new countries and entities, reorganizations, and leadership transitions with a clear plan, narrative, and follow-through with managers and teams. Increase talent density. Lead calibration, promotion, and talent review for the region. Identify and develop top talent, coach managers to raise the bar on their teams, and handle performance and employee relations issues with judgment, discretion, and dignity. Move fast and move safe. We are looking for someone who has: 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years partnering directly with senior leaders, preferably in a high-tech environment, and experience as the sole or lead People leader for a region or country. Breadth across the full HR function: employee relations, compensation, payroll and leave administration, performance management, org design, and engagement. You move comfortably from an individual employee's pay issue to a reorganization conversation with an executive on the same day. Working knowledge of employment practices and requirements in Germany, Sweden, and England and the judgment to know when a question needs local counsel or another specialist before you act. Strong business acumen. You understand how the business makes money, where the constraints are, and how talent decisions affect outcomes, and you can speak that language with executives. Leadership and high agency. You've been the senior People leader for a region or business with minimal direction, directed partners across payroll, legal, benefits, and vendors without formal authority, and made decisions with incomplete information. Strong judgment. You know when to move fast, when to slow down an irreversible decision, and when to bring in partners, and leaders trust your read on sensitive, ambiguous situations. A record of influencing in both directions. You've advocated for a region with headquarters and challenged regional leaders when needed, and you can tell the difference between a legal requirement, a business need, and a preference. A record of leading change, not just supporting it, including implementing global programs locally and guiding teams through growth or reorganization. Fluency with data and clear, concise, direct communication, and the discipline to prioritize ruthlessly when everything feels urgent. Business-level fluency in the local language is a plus. Comfort working across time zones with a People team based in California. Nice to have: Experience supporting engineering, research, or other highly technical organizations. Experience supporting a region through entity setup or expansion into new countries, including work with an employer of record or PEO. Experience building People programs from scratch in a high-growth company. Benefits: 30 days of paid vacation per year Daily meal benefits: €19 lunch budget and €19 dinner budget, free breakfast, snacks, and drinks in the office You'll receive €965 annual learning & development and €580 annual fitness budget Subsidized Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms, studios, and wellness facilities across Germany €25 monthly contribution to your Deutschlandticket for regional public transport across Germany Generous parental leave: on top of statutory parental leave Don't meet every single requirement? If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles. Applied Intuition is an equal opportunity employer and federal contractor or subcontractor. Analytics Engineer About Sprinter Health At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can't get to a doctor's office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system, driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year. By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we've supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed 130,000+ in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators has raised over $125M from investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel and enjoys multi-year runway. About The Role We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to build the trusted data layer that analysts, data scientists, operations, finance, product, and our payer customers depend on. At Sprinter, data is central to how we operate, measure performance, serve patients, and support our health plan partners. This role will own the canonical models, metric definitions, transformation logic, documentation, and tests that make our data reliable and reusable across the company. You'll help define what each table, field, and metric means, then build the infrastructure that ensures those definitions are consistently applied. That includes modeling data in dbt or equivalent tooling, creating reporting-ready tables, improving lineage and documentation, reconciling metrics across teams, and helping prevent the kind of data drift and metric chaos that slows companies down as they scale. This role is ideal for someone who treats metric definitions as product artifacts, thinks in contracts and tests, and cares deeply about making data trustworthy for both internal users and external customers. Office Location We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco and Menlo Park. We operate on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated as work-from-anywhere days. We care deeply about work-life balance and are happy to provide flexibility when life happens. We ask that employees be in the office Monday through Thursday to collaborate with their teams while maintaining flexibility where it matters most. Lunch is provided every day, and the entire team takes an hour to eat together. It's one of the ways we stay connected outside of meetings. You'll usually find us playing a board game before getting back to work. What you will do Build canonical data models that create a shared source of truth across the company Define and maintain core business, operational, financial, product, and customer-facing metrics Model data in dbt or equivalent transformation tooling so dashboards, self-serve analytics, and customer reports pull from trusted tables Write tests, documentation, and data quality checks that catch issues before they reach users Create clear definitions for tables, fields, and metrics so teams understand what the data means and when to use it Reconcile metric definitions across internal teams, external reporting needs, and payer customer expectations Trace data lineage and debug dashboards, reports, or tables that change unexpectedly Partner with analysts, data scientists, operations, finance, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to understand data needs and translate them into reliable models Help build reusable reporting frameworks that make onboarding new payers faster and less manual Partner with the data platform team to evolve warehouse tables, improve data architecture, and strengthen data contracts Improve warehouse cost, performance, and maintainability Support PHI-aware data access patterns and help ensure sensitive healthcare data is modeled and used responsibly What you have done Built analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data modeling systems in a production cloud warehouse environment Written expert-level SQL and designed data models that support reporting, analysis, and decision-making Worked with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework Built tested, documented, reusable data models rather than one-off queries Defined, maintained, or reconciled business-critical metrics across teams Partnered with analysts, data scientists, operators, finance teams, product teams, or customer-facing stakeholders Debugged data quality issues, dashboard changes, metric discrepancies, and lineage problems Worked with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks SQL, or similar Balanced speed, correctness, usability, and maintainability when building data assets Communicated clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders about what data means and how it should be used What gives you an edge You have experience with healthcare data, claims data, EHR data, payer data, provider data, or other complex healthcare datasets You've worked with PHI, HIPAA-aware data access patterns, or other sensitive regulated data You have experience building customer-facing reporting, embedded analytics, or multi-tenant data models You've worked with row-level security, access controls, or governed self-serve analytics You have experience using Python for analysis, scripting, data validation, or automation You've helped establish a semantic layer, metrics layer, or company-wide source of truth You've built data models in a high-growth startup or operationally complex environment You have experience improving warehouse performance, cost, and query efficiency What makes you successful You treat a metric definition as a product artifact, not a Slack thread You make data trustworthy, reusable, and easy to understand You prevent metric chaos by building clear definitions, tests, and documentation You build so that a fix in one place does not require five copy-paste edits elsewhere You understand that internal users and external customers both need data they can trust You care about the usability of the data model, not just whether the pipeline runs You can explain data discrepancies clearly and drive teams toward shared definitions You build foundations that help the company move faster with more confidence Day to Day In This Role, You Might Spend Your Time Building or refactoring dbt models Adding tests to core tables Defining canonical fields and documenting how they should be used Reviewing metric definitions and reconciling them across teams Debugging a dashboard, report, or customer-facing metric that changed unexpectedly Tracing lineage from source systems through warehouse models to downstream reports Partnering with analysts, operators, finance, product, or customer-facing teams on reporting needs Improving warehouse performance, cost, and maintainability Designing reusable reporting structures that make new payer launches easier The Interview Process We aim to complete the interview process within 2–3 weeks. It will usually consist of: Recruiter Screen: Background fit, motivation, and compensation alignment Hiring Manager Interview: Analytics engineering experience, data modeling depth, and stakeholder partnership Hands-on Technical Assessment: SQL, data modeling, metric design, and practical analytics engineering judgment Onsite Interview: Technical case study, systems/data modeling discussion, behavioral interview, and lunch with the team References: Validation of performance, judgment, and working style What we offer Meaningful pre-IPO equity Medical, dental, and vision plans 100% paid for you and your dependents Flexible PTO + 10 paid holidays per year 401(k) with match 16-week parental leave policy for birthing parent, 8 weeks for all other parents HSA + FSA contributions Life insurance, plus short and long-term disability coverage Free daily lunch in-office Annual learning stipend Relocation assistance Equal Opportunity Statement Sprinter Health is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or other protected classes. Beware of recruitment fraud and scams that involve fictitious job descriptions followed by false job offers. We build and operate the data platform that powers security insights, builder experience analytics, and tooling decisions across Amazon's security ecosystem. Every insight surfaced to security leadership, from builder productivity trends to security issue quality metrics, flows through systems our team designs, builds, and maintains. We operate at scale, processing large volumes of security and operational data daily through hundreds of pipelines consisting of transformations, reporting queries, ingestions, and infrastructure management scripts. Our engineers work directly with source systems across AWS and SDO (Security, Developer, and Operations) data domains to procure data, convert it into structured formats, build large-scale processing pipelines, design analytical data models, and maintain infrastructure with the highest security and compliance standards. We are seeking a Data Engineer I to join our Security Data Intelligence (SDI) team. In this role, you will build and maintain data pipelines that power security analytics across Amazon. Working with well-defined requirements and guidance from senior engineers, you will create physical data models, optimize data pipelines for defined datasets, and deliver reliable, well-documented solutions on schedule. You will partner with teams across ASE, BizOps, MapSec, and other security organizations to implement data ingestion flows and support analytical models that serve the broader Amazon Security organization. Key job responsibilities Learn and apply team-established data processing guidelines and best practices when building and testing pipelines. Measure and improve dataset quality across owned pipelines, identifying issues and proposing solutions to the team. Flag limitations or opportunities in data processing tools to senior engineers for evaluation. Learn and understand the team's existing data architecture, including how security data flows through ingestion, transformation, and serving layers. Build data solutions at the component level within the established team data architecture, following defined logical data models. Create physical data models for assigned datasets, applying appropriate persistence and integration techniques. Understand the implications of implementation decisions (e.g., normalization, distribution) and seek guidance from senior engineers on trade-offs. Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects, following team coding standards. Clearly document solutions for ease of use and maintainability by teammates and data consumers. Get all data models, pipeline designs, and code reviewed by senior engineers before deployment. Test code thoroughly and understand the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties, and dependencies of delivered solutions.
