LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South. Moving to a new country shouldn't mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live. What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth. With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity. About the role As Senior Technical Accountant, reporting to the Head of Financial Control and Reporting, you will be LemFi's go-to authority on how we account for what we do. You will own the Group accounting policy manual, write the technical papers on every key judgement area, get ahead of new products before they launch, and be the main contact for auditors on complex technical questions. You will partner closely with Global Finance Operations and Reconciliation and Strategic Finance, ensuring that US GAAP consolidated accounts and local entity statutory accounts are accurate from revenue recognition to balance sheet classification. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys hard accounting questions and explains the answers clearly. The role is based in London or Dublin, with dedicated time in either hub. What you'll build and own Own the Group accounting policy manual across US GAAP, FRS 102 and local frameworks, keeping it current as standards and the business evolve. Write clear, defensible technical papers covering key judgement areas: revenue recognition on fees and FX, credit losses (CECL and IFRS 9), safeguarded customer funds and share-based payments. Get ahead of new products - assess accounting treatment for new products, markets, partnerships and funding facilities before launch, working with Product, Legal, Tax and Treasury. Lead on technical audit areas: be the auditors' main contact on judgement areas, close out findings related to accounting treatment, and ensure no material audit adjustments in your areas. Set the rules for transaction accounting - define how fees, FX, chargebacks, settlements and processor flows are recorded, and work with Finance Transformation to build those rules into NetSuite posting logic and automated controls. Bridge the frameworks: maintain the US GAAP to statutory reconciliation, support the consolidation with the Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager, and keep intercompany recharges consistent across the Group. Run a prioritised technical accounting log, reviewed monthly with the Financial Control and Finance Operations leads, so nothing falls through the cracks. Your experience ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification, with 7 or more years of post-qualification experience. A background in Big 4 (or similar) audit, ideally in financial services, or in a technical accounting team in-house. Direct experience in a remittance, payments, e-money or similarly regulated financial services business - as an auditor or in-house. Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, and solid working knowledge of FRS 102 or IFRS. Experience with credit loss accounting under CECL or IFRS 9. Clear, concise technical writing and the confidence to defend a position with auditors and senior stakeholders. A hands-on approach: as comfortable posting a complex journal as writing the policy paper that justifies it. Nice to have Experience in US GAAP consolidation for a multi-entity international group. Experience designing accounting rules for ERP or automation projects, ideally in NetSuite. Exposure to share-based payments, debt facilities or equity fundraising accounting. Why Join LemFi? Love shouldn't be expensive, yet those working hardest for their families often face predatory fees and banking exclusion. We're changing this. At LemFi, you won't be just a cog in a machine. Whether designing products, scaling operations, or telling our story, you'll tackle complex challenges with real, immediate impact. Your work goes beyond metrics - it puts money back in families' pockets and offers access to the previously excluded. Join us to make a meaningful difference, where high performance is a lifeline for millions. You can connect with us on LinkedIn and Instagram and if you haven't already, download the app on the App Store or Google Play . About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is seeking a Program Manager to join our Accounting organization and help it run as one global team. Accounting is scaling at an unprecedented pace across multiple hubs, and the goals, rhythms, programs, and people that make up the team need to stay connected as we grow. In this role, you will own that connective tissue: the annual goal-setting cycle, the leadership team's operating cadence, org-wide events and internal communications, and the programs that make a distributed team feel like one. You will partner with Accounting leadership, the People team, Finance Systems, and hub leads. This is a hands-on role with a lot of range: part chief of staff, part program manager, part culture builder. Responsibilities Goals and operating rhythm Run the annual goal setting process and the reporting that tracks progress against those goals. Look at how the org actually operates (meetings, handoffs, planning cycles, decision making) and fix what isn't working. Maintain one org-wide planning calendar that shows close, audit, and team milestones alongside company-wide and team events, so leaders can see the pressure points and plan around them. Build and maintain a simple set of org health metrics (attrition, engagement scores, hiring pipeline, training completion, survey trends) and report on them regularly. Leadership and org-wide events Run our extended leadership team (XLT) program, including agendas, meetings, follow-ups, and action items. Own planning and agenda for the annual offsite and run the quarterly team all-hands. Write the internal updates: a regular team newsletter, plus talking points when leadership needs to explain a change to the whole org. People and culture Coordinate projects across the org that support employee experience programs. Partner with the People team to roll out training and development programs for Accounting. Review team survey results, identify the themes, and build action plans to address the feedback. Follow through and report back to the team. Run hub programs, including visit and rotation programs, local hub events, and meeting norms that work across time zones, so we feel like one global team. Run recognition and team rituals: wins, milestones, anniversaries, and peer recognition, especially across hubs. Team operations Support contractor management, including onboarding, tracking, and coordination with the right partners. Keep the team's knowledge base current: wiki, org charts, role descriptions, and key process docs. Keep the team calendar accurate so everyone knows what's coming. Preferred qualifications 7+ years in program management, operations, chief of staff, or strategy roles. Experience inside a finance or accounting org is a plus, but not required. A track record of running recurring programs end to end and getting people to follow through without formal authority. Good judgment about what matters and what doesn't. You can handle a lot of moving pieces without dropping them. Clear, direct writing. You can brief a senior leader in a few sentences. Comfort with confidential information and sensitive people topics. Experience supporting distributed or global teams. You're organized, but you also know when a process is getting in the way and should be simplified. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $230,000 — $300,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
