Senior Business Development Manager
Full TimeOn-siteLead
gocomputer visionprocurementinsurancecompliancecompliance+5

Location: London (Hybrid — Tuesday to Thursday in the office) Department: Sales Reporting to: Director of Cloud Sales ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD: NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature. We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure. We practice what we preach, equipping our people with AI at every level so we can solve harder problems, ship faster, and keep raising the bar for what enterprise GPU infrastructure looks like. THE ROLE: Senior Business Development Manager – Vertical Markets Hyperstack already runs production GPU capacity at scale for AI start-ups, AI service providers and enterprise AI teams. This role exists to extend that position into compute-intensive, regulated and specialist industries — financial services, healthcare and life sciences, robotics and autonomous systems, computer vision and industrial AI — where compute budgets are already committed and infrastructure partners are being chosen now. You'll own a named vertical end to end: the demand thesis, the target account map, the outbound motion, and every deal through to signature. This is a full-cycle role with real ownership, not a top-of-funnel handoff — you'll become the recognised commercial authority for your vertical inside NexGen, and a credible presence in that industry externally. Role positioning: this is a role for a senior seller who already holds trust in a compute-intensive industry and wants full ownership of turning that trust into a book of business — the strategy, the pipeline and the close. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like: Own a named vertical end to end — build the demand thesis, size the addressable market, and turn it into a prioritised target account map Self-source the majority of your own pipeline and reach the people who decide compute budget: CIO, CTO, Chief Data or AI Officer, and the procurement and risk functions that gate them Lead technical discovery to a real specification, then own the full cycle to signature — commercial proposal, security review, procurement, legal and MSA negotiation Structure multi-year committed reservations and on-demand entry points, and keep a forecast the business can plan capacity against Build Hyperstack's presence in your vertical — industry events, analyst and partner relationships, reference customers and case studies Feed vertical requirements into Product, Capacity and Marketing with enough specificity to change decisions, then follow through until they land Act as the internal reference point for your vertical — brief the wider Sales team and raise the technical floor around you ABOUT YOU: We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following: Essential 8+ years in business development, enterprise sales or solution sales, including at least 3 years carrying a new business number in complex enterprise environments A demonstrable record of opening net-new enterprise logos from a standing start — self-sourced, not inherited and not renewal-led Deep credibility in at least one compute-intensive vertical — financial services, healthcare and life sciences, robotics and autonomous systems, computer vision and industrial AI, media and entertainment, or engineering and simulation — including an active network at buying level Substantive infrastructure fluency (cloud, IaaS, HPC, data centre, GPU or AI compute), or a proven history of learning a technical domain to the point of holding your own with engineers Evidence of closing complex deals through procurement, security review and legal, with contract values and cycle lengths you can talk to in detail Nice to Have Experience at a neo-cloud, GPU-as-a-Service platform, hyperscaler or HPC infrastructure vendor Prior ownership of a vertical or industry go-to-market as a named remit Familiarity with regulated buying environments — data residency and sovereignty, isolation requirements, and the security and compliance reviews that come with them Experience selling committed capacity or reservation-style contracts rather than pure consumption Formal sales methodology — MEDDPICC, Command of the Message or equivalent WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and accelerators above target, plus equity participation Private Medical Insurance Employee wellbeing benefits 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays Hybrid working, with Tuesday to Thursday in the London office Real ownership of a named vertical, with the trust to build and run it as your own A clear route to principal-level individual contribution or vertical leadership as your vertical scales A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues MORE INFORMATION Head over to our NexGen Cloud careers page to view current openings and follow us on LinkedIn and X to learn more about our journey, newest releases and hear exciting news in the neocloud space. Solutions Architect Location: UK-based — Customer-Site Travel Required ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature. We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure. We practise what we preach, equipping our people with AI at every level so we can solve harder problems, ship faster, and keep raising the bar for what enterprise GPU infrastructure looks like. THE ROLE: Solutions Architect This role exists because our pipeline of technically complex, high-value GPU cloud opportunities is growing — and winning them requires more than a great sales team. The Solutions Architect sits at the intersection of sales, infrastructure, and the customer, translating complex workload requirements into technically sound, commercially viable solutions on the Hyperstack platform. You'll be the primary technical authority through the sales cycle: engaging directly with prospective and existing customers, producing detailed solution designs, and ensuring that what is proposed can actually be delivered to the standard committed. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in a customer meeting and a technical design review — someone who earns trust through depth, not slides. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like: Own the technical sales cycle end-to-end — from initial customer brief through architecture design, proposal, and delivery handover — acting as the primary technical authority for GPU cloud solution design. Engage directly with prospective and existing customers to understand workload requirements, technical constraints, and commercial objectives, producing detailed solution designs including architecture diagrams, network topology, storage configurations, and GPU resource allocation models. Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales Engineering, Data Centre, Infrastructure, and Network Engineering teams to validate delivery feasibility before commitments are made to customers. Build and maintain a library of reference architectures and solution templates spanning AI/ML training, inference, HPC, and rendering workloads — accelerating the sales cycle and improving proposal consistency across the team. Develop high-quality technical proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work, supporting commercial discussions with clear scoping, realistic estimates, and honest risk assessments. Define and maintain comprehensive Bills of Materials (BoMs) for all proposed solutions, ensuring accuracy for procurement, provisioning, and margin review. Feed back recurring customer requirements and competitive intelligence to engineering leadership, directly influencing the Hyperstack product roadmap. ABOUT YOU We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely come from an HPC, AI infrastructure, or high-performance cloud background and bring a combination of the following: Essential Proven experience in HPC or AI software stack design and delivery at scale — including workload profiling, scheduler configuration (SLURM, PBS, or equivalent), MPI/NCCL tuning, and distributed training frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or DeepSpeed. Deep understanding of GPU software environments: CUDA, cuDNN, NCCL, driver stacks, and the tooling required to run large-scale AI training and inference workloads reliably in production. Hands-on experience optimising AI and HPC workloads across multi-GPU and multi-node configurations — including profiling, bottleneck identification, and performance tuning at both the application and infrastructure layer. Strong working knowledge of containerisation and orchestration in HPC/AI contexts: Docker, Kubernetes, NVIDIA GPU Operator, and container-native workload management. Background in an OEM, hyperscaler, neo-cloud, or enterprise/research HPC environment, with demonstrable exposure to the full design-to-deployment lifecycle for GPU-accelerated workloads. Ability to produce clear, professional technical documentation and architecture diagrams suitable for both engineering and board-level audiences. Confident engaging with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams as a technical authority — able to translate complex software and performance trade-offs into clear, actionable decisions. Nice to Have Experience with large-scale cluster performance benchmarking — NCCL tests, MLPerf, or equivalent — and familiarity with what good looks like across different GPU generations and topologies. Exposure to MLOps tooling and AI platform layers: experiment tracking (MLflow, W&B), model serving frameworks (Triton, vLLM), and pipeline orchestration (Kubeflow, Airflow). Familiarity with InfiniBand and high-performance networking as it relates to distributed training performance — sufficient to engage credibly with network and infrastructure teams on topology and tuning decisions. Commercial awareness: experience contributing to BoMs, technical proposals, or RFP responses in a pre-sales or customer-facing technical role. WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme. Employee wellbeing benefits. 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays. Flexible working arrangements, with regular customer-site travel as part of the role. Real ownership and autonomy — you'll have direct influence over the technical win rate on some of our most strategically important opportunities. The chance to work at the cutting edge of GPU cloud infrastructure, with a platform purpose-built for AI, ML and HPC workloads. Clear career progression and growth opportunities in a fast-growing company. A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership. The opportunity to shape how NexGen Cloud is positioned and perceived in a competitive and fast-moving market. Build the Market Leader in Satellite Analytics with us at LiveEO We are looking for a Senior Product Manager ( ISR ) (f/m/x) to own the product and delivery side of LiveEO's defence and intelligence business. Sektion 4 builds AI-based ISR capabilities for German and allied defence and intelligence customers: object and change detection in very high resolution satellite imagery, 3D terrain products derived from stereo imagery, and the analytics that turn imagery into decisions. You will run our customer-facing defence products end to end from a product management perspective including analytical products as well as end user applications. You will also build the roadmap that connects different customer timelines, our concept of operations and the actual maturity of our technical components into one plan that engineering and sales both work from. This role exists because our LiveEO engineers build world class AI models and your work will help to bring them into operations and roll them out to many more end users. We need someone who can say how an analyst does the job, write requirements a military user would recognise, and hold the line on what we ship. LiveEO is a dynamic team that thrives on big challenges and fast learning cycles. We move quickly, stay curious, and genuinely enjoy building together. We are on a mission to break the "curse of Earth Observation": turning incredible satellite data into reliable, actionable decisions that people can trust and use in real operations on scale. You will be part of Sektion 4, LiveEO's government-solutions product team. Sektion 4 owns its roadmap and delivers funded R&D projects and defence engagements end-to-end, from research through to production, and sets its own technical direction. You will work day to day with the team's ML engineergs, full-stack engineers and geospatial data egineers, and across LiveEO with sales, pre-sales and the teams building the Twinspector satellite programme. Externally you are in front of military and agency users, partners and integrators, in workshops, requirement sessions and user tests. Tech stack & tools: Linear (backlog, sprints) Confluence Google Workspace LiveEO's own ISR and analytics applications Figma QGIS and comparable viewers STAC -based imagery catalogs Data: very high resolution optical imagery synthetic aperture radar 3D surface models cloud and secure on-premise / air-gapped deployments agentic tools for a variety of work. Your challenge As Product Manager (f/m/x), you own what we build for defence and intelligence customers, and you are accountable for it reaching them. Own the ISR product: take our imagery intelligence application from working demonstrator to deployable product. Define the release scope, the deployment and support model for secure on-premise environments, and drive the first installation at a real user. Run the backlog: work with the engineering team in two-week sprints. Translate operational needs into written requirements and user stories, prioritise ruthlessly, cut scope when it is the right call, and keep the team pointed at what matters. Deliver defence projects end to end: own scope, milestones, deliverables and stakeholder communication for our customer-facing defence engagements, and take on new projects as the pipeline converts. Build and maintain the roadmap: reconcile project timelines, our concept of operations and component readiness into one roadmap that is used to set priorities, not to describe them afterwards. Be the ISR authority in the team: bring operational depth on the intelligence cycle, collection and tasking, and imagery exploitation. Be the person engineering asks how an analyst would really use this, and the person sales asks what we can credibly claim. Work with users and customers: run workshops and user sessions, gather and structure feedback, demonstrate the product, and support bids and proposals with operational substance. Your profile Professional ISR , GEOINT or IMINT background: Bundeswehr, the intelligence community, defence procurement, or an ISR role in industry. Real operational fluency in the intelligence cycle, collection and tasking, and how imagery products are produced and consumed at a staff. Proven ability to translate operational needs into written requirements that engineers can build from. Track record of driving work to a deadline across dependencies you did not control. German at native or fully fluent level, and professional English. German or European citizenship and eligibility to obtain a German security clearance (Sicherheitsüberprüfung). Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, hybrid with at least two days per week in the office, and to travel within Germany to customers and users. You take ownership and proactively push work forward. You communicate clearly and collaborate smoothly within and across teams. Pragmatic mindset: you balance operational ambition with what can actually be shipped. You enjoy working with complexity and turning ambiguity into structure. Product management or product ownership experience: backlog, sprint cadence, release scoping is a plus. Project management experience in defence or publicly funded programmes (national, EU, NATO) is a plus. Experience writing CONOPS , operational requirements or capability documents is a plus. Familiarity with satellite imagery, remote sensing, or AI and machine learning products is a plus. Experience delivering software into secure on-premise or air-gapped environments is a plus. An existing valid German security clearance (SÜ2 / SÜ3) is a plus. Working knowledge of NATO standards and interoperability for imagery and geospatial data is a plus. Your Benefits The opportunity to create a product that can improve business processes and lives across the globe. Flexible working hours and hybrid work model - we trust our employees to get their work done while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We empower employees to drive their own career development, take initiative and have the freedom to be creative and bold. Not an overtime culture - we take care that overtime is done only as a necessity and always offset with time off and rest. A collaborative and learning environment - frequent internal workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, journal clubs and hackathons. Office located in the centre of Berlin Kreuzberg with free fruit, nuts and drinks. Potential to participate in the employee stock option program.
