By embedding intelligence directly into NetSuite, Zone helps finance teams move beyond reactive work to proactive, strategic impact. Learn more at www.zoneandco.com or follow us on LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/zoneandco . About the Job Lead Zone & Co .'s GTM Engineering function and become the driving force behind AI adoption across our go-to-market organization. You'll own the systems, data, integrations, and automation that power scalable pipeline generation—and build the team's ability to continuously improve and operate those systems themselves. Zone & Co. builds finance software that runs natively inside NetSuite. We're looking for a GTM Engineering leader who can architect the infrastructure behind our go-to-market engine, including our data and enrichment layer, integrations across the GTM tech stack, and automation supporting core inbound and outbound motions. You'll bring AI natively into GTM workflows, turn ideas into governed, production-ready solutions, and run structured experiments tied to measurable outcomes like pipeline, conversion, and efficiency. You'll also lead the evolution of the team from manual prospecting toward a more technical, systems-oriented model—including developing BDRs into GTM engineers who can build, maintain, and improve the systems they rely on. The ideal candidate thinks in systems, not isolated touchpoints. You'll design with data quality, deliverability, compliance, reliability, and cost control in mind from the start, while creating an environment where experimentation can happen quickly and safely. What You'll Do: Data and integrations Connect enrichment providers, internal data sources, and AI to keep account and contact data accurate and usable. Design data flows using proper field mapping and data contracts rather than one-off scripts. Integrate systems across CRM, sequencing, marketing automation, and the data warehouse. Evaluate new tools and prevent redundancy in the GTM stack. Automation Build inbound lead scoring, routing, and response workflows. Build outbound list building, enrichment, sequencing, and conversion tracking workflows. Translate opportunities identified by sellers, marketers, and CS team members into production-ready solutions. Take ambiguous problems from reps, AEs, or marketers and turn them into working systems. AI and experimentation Design agentic workflows for enrichment, personalization, scoring, and rep productivity, using sound prompt engineering and agent design. Run structured experiments across channels and workflows, measure against pipeline and conversion metrics, and retire what doesn't work. Report on system performance using BI tools such as Tableau or Looker. Team enablement Guide BDR team as it transitions into GTM engineering. Teach workflow design and Clay proficiency as the team's work shifts from manual prospecting to building and maintaining systems. Support people across GTM who are building their own agents and automations, helping make their work governed and production-ready. Governance, quality, and compliance Design safeguards up front for deliverability, data quality, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM. Scope, document, and test everything before release. Apply guardrails on cost, performance, and sustainability so no system runs unmonitored. What You'll Need: 4+ years of hands-on experience building GTM automation and integrations personally, not solely directing others. Deep expertise in Clay or a comparable enrichment or workflow platform. Strong Salesforce experience, including data governance. Working proficiency in SQL, Python, or JavaScript sufficient to build and fix workflows independently of engineering. Experience with a BI tool such as Tableau or Looker. Proven experience applying LLMs and agentic tooling to real revenue workflows. Understanding of sales qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC) and multi-touch attribution. Strong understanding of deliverability, data quality, and compliance requirements (GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Experience managing or mentoring a team. Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into working systems. Preferred Prior BDR or SDR experience. Benefits At Zone, we provide the platform; you provide the grit. We operate as a high-velocity, fully remote, global team where autonomy isn't just a perk, it's the standard. We're looking for self-driven professionals eager to navigate the complexities of a unique SaaS environment and take full command of their professional evolution. Over the next few years, AI is going to redefine how people all over the world interact with businesses every day. Come build that future at Cresta. About the Role: As an AI Strategist, you are the embedded AI leader for our customers. You connect what customers are saying in their conversations, what their business needs most, and what Cresta's AI can do, then turn that into a prioritized plan and measurable results. You identify where automation and augmentation will deliver the most value, build the roadmap, and make sure the work ships and pays off. You will not be building AI Agents from scratch. Our Forward Deployed Engineers and Forward Deployed Product Managers create and deploy them. Your focus is on making deployed AI better: finding the next opportunity, optimizing what is already live, piloting new Cresta capabilities, and proving the business impact. You are analytical, commercially minded, and credible with senior stakeholders in CX, Operations, Product, Sales, and IT. You are technical enough to work closely with FDEs and FDPMs and to give product and engineering a tight feedback loop. What You'll Do: AI Strategy and Roadmap Identify automation and augmentation opportunities across the customer's contact center and wider customer experience operation. Prioritize initiatives by expected ROI and build a business case for each one. Build and maintain the customer's enterprise AI roadmap, and keep it current as priorities and Cresta capabilities change. Align stakeholders across CX, Operations, Product, Sales, and IT on priorities, sequencing, and success criteria. Conversation Intelligence and Business Insights Use conversation data to surface customer friction and emerging trends before they show up in other metrics. Identify operational inefficiencies and the changes that would reduce them. Share Voice of Customer insights with customer leadership and with Cresta product teams. Measure business impact and report it in terms executives care about, such as containment, handle time, conversion, CSAT, and cost to serve. AI Innovation and Execution Stay current on new Cresta features and bring the relevant ones to customers early. Pilot emerging AI capabilities, define how success will be judged, and decide with the customer whether to scale them. Optimize live AI Agents by analyzing performance, reviewing conversations, and recommending changes to prompts, workflows, and configurations. Coordinate deployments with FDEs, FDPMs, and customer teams, including milestones, timelines, and dependencies. Measure realized value after launch and report it back against the original business case. What We're Looking For: Experience: 5+ years in technology consulting, strategy, product, analytics, implementation, or customer success roles, ideally with AI or LLM-first products. Strategic and commercial skills: A track record of building roadmaps, prioritizing by ROI, and writing business cases that senior stakeholders approve. Analytical approach: Strong data skills. You are comfortable analyzing conversation or operational data, designing experiments such as A/B tests, and monitoring performance to refine solutions. Technical understanding: Working knowledge of how LLM-based AI agents function, including prompts, tools or function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation. Hands-on experience with an agent project, even a personal one, is a plus. You do not need to write production code, but you can read and reason about system behavior and discuss tradeoffs with engineers. Stakeholder leadership: Experience leading cross-functional work and influencing senior customer stakeholders across CX, Operations, Product, Sales, and IT. Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. You can explain a complex finding to an executive in plain language. Execution: Strong project management skills and a bias for action. You turn ambiguity into a plan and follow it through to results. Mindset: Curious, self-driven, and comfortable learning quickly in a fast-moving startup environment. You are passionate about AI, automation, and the future of customer experience. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Bonus Points: Familiarity with customer support and contact center operations, including metrics such as AHT, FCR, containment, and QA Experience with conversation intelligence, speech analytics, or voice-of-customer programs Background in management consulting, product management, or forward deployed roles Experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment Comfort with SQL or a BI tool for self-serve analysis Perks & Benefits: We offer a comprehensive and people-first benefits package to support you at work and in life: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with plans to fit you and your family Flexible PTO to take the time you need, when you need it Paid parental leave for all new parents welcoming a new child Retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future Remote work setup budget to help you create a productive home office Monthly wellness and communication stipend to keep you connected and balanced In-office meal program and commuter benefits provided for onsite employees Compensation at Cresta: Cresta's approach to compensation is simple: recognize impact, reward excellence, and invest in our people. We offer competitive, location-based pay that reflects the market and what each individual brings to the table. The posted compensation range represents what we expect to pay for this role in a given location. Final offers are shaped by factors like experience, skills, education, and geography. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and a comprehensive benefits package for you and your family. Recording & AI transcription: We do not authorize candidates to record or use AI transcription of any interview by phone, notetaker app, AI glasses, or other device. Candidates may request an exception or accommodation for review during the interview process as needed. Recruiting impersonation scams: We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. Marketing Technology Engineer
TRM LabsLATAM, Canada, UK, USA (Fully Remote)15 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteSenior$150,000 - $190,000 / Year
pythongosqlbigqueryrestcompliance+4

Build a Safer World. TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure. Marketing Operations owns the systems the marketing organization runs on: the MarTech stack, the data that describes our funnel, and increasingly the AI agents that do the work. The Marketing Technology Engineer owns the automation and AI layer of that stack — building the agents and automations that remove manual work from the team, and making sure they keep running and keep producing output we can trust. This is a technical role inside a marketing function, and the marketing half is not optional. The impact you'll have here: Own the operating layer for marketing's agent fleet end to end — provisioning, output verification, monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Nothing counts as shipped until it has run for real and its output has been checked. Design and build agentic processes, skills, and automations that remove manual work from the team, and decide — with marketing judgment — which are worth building at all. Instrument what we build so usage, output, and value are visible to leadership, and so agents improve from feedback rather than staying frozen at launch. Consolidate how core marketing concepts are defined across tools and agents — territory, lead scoring stages, MQL and MQA, pipeline stages, targets — so automations and dashboards cannot quietly disagree, including across two product lines. Own the MarTech stack — configuration, administration, and integration — and build in a way the campaign execution team can extend without engineering support for routine work. What we're looking for: Prior marketing or marketing operations experience — required, not preferred. You already understand funnel and attribution logic, lead scoring, send-cadence and deliverability norms, and list hygiene and consent rules. This role has no downstream reviewer for marketing correctness. You have personally operated something unattended. A pipeline, integration, or agent that ran on its own, broke without telling you, and taught you to verify output rather than trust a green status. Scale matters less than the scar tissue. A track record of building production automation inside a GTM function — Clay, Zapier, Workato, n8n, or similar — where what you built was depended on by other people and you were the one who owned it. Evidence you have moved from no-code stitching into code and repository practice: version control, code review, CI, testing, and deploying into a shared repo rather than a personal account. Technical baseline: working proficiency in SQL and Python, solid REST API fundamentals, familiarity with secrets management for credentials and API keys, enough data-warehouse fluency (for example BigQuery) to query and reason about data models, and hands-on administration of HubSpot and Salesforce. Nice to have: Direct experience with Claude, or with n8n. Experience building multi-step enrichment waterfalls in Clay or similar that others depend on. Exposure to observability or data-quality practices — monitoring, alerting, freshness and anomaly checks — in any prior role. Experience supporting more than one product line, where the same metric has to be correct in two motions at once. About the Team: Marketing Operations is a distributed, not distant team that owns the systems the marketing organization runs on. The work is intellectually difficult because the same metric has to stay correct across two product lines and multiple tools and agents at once. Ownership is high: this role makes consequential marketing decisions without a downstream reviewer. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation details listed in this posting reflect the US base salary only. The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000–$190,000 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible to participate in TRM's equity plan. Please note – we factor in the different costs for geographies outside the United States Application Instructions If you're interested in joining TRM, we encourage you to apply directly. Every application is reviewed by our Talent team. Before applying, review the job description carefully and highlight the experience and impact that best demonstrate the required qualifications. Please also provide thoughtful and accurate answers to the application questions, as these will be used to evaluate your skills and qualifications for the role. If you send your resume directly to someone at TRM, we can't guarantee it will reach the appropriate hiring team. Applying directly is the best way to ensure your application will be considered. Interviewing with TRM Our process is designed to understand how you think, solve problems, and deliver impact, while allowing you to evaluate TRM. Most interview processes include a case study, an AI skills assessment, and a Leadership Principles interview. Recruiter Intro: Qualifications, motivations, and alignment with the role. Hiring Manager: Deep dive into your relevant experience, skills, and impact. First Round: 1–2 interviews focused on the skills most critical to the role. Final Round: Hands-on case study. This is usually a panel-style session where we go deeper into your craft, problem-solving, and alignment with TRM. References: Former colleagues who can provide insight into your work and impact. Offer: Congrats! Your recruiter will present the offer and compensation details. Welcome to TRM: We're excited to build a safer world with you! Your recruiter will share your specific interview plan and preparation guidance along the way. AI Fluency at TRM AI fluency is a baseline expectation at TRM. We believe AI meaningfully changes how top performers operate. We expect every team member to use AI to accelerate and reimagine their craft, not just automate surface tasks. At TRM, AI fluency means you are among the top 10 percent of operators in your function in how you apply AI to: Accelerate repeatable workflows Structure and solve problems Improve output quality Increase speed and leverage You will be evaluated on applied AI fluency during the interview process. Life at TRM We are building a safer world. That promise shows up in how we work every day. TRM moves FAST. We are a high-velocity, high-ownership team that expects clarity, follow-through, and impact. People who thrive here are energized by hard problems, experimentation, and continuous feedback. If something takes months elsewhere, it will ship here in days. Our work sits at the intersection of AI, national security, and fighting crime. The problems are complex, the stakes are real, and the environment evolves quickly. The pace and intensity of the work reflect the importance of the mission. As a result, the way we operate requires a high level of ownership, adaptability, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. At TRM, you should expect: Priorities and targets to change quickly Operating with a high degree of ambiguity A high level of personal ownership and accountability Close collaboration across teams and functions Frequent, high-touch communication Creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking A pace that rewards urgency, adaptability, and outcomes This environment is energizing for people who enjoy building, solving hard problems, and making progress in situations that are not always fully defined. It also requires thriving in ambiguity, adjusting course as new information emerges, and maintaining focus and positivity in a fast-moving and intense environment. We also recognize that this style of operating is not for everyone. If you are primarily optimizing for predictability or a consistently balanced workload, we encourage you to use the interview process to pressure-test whether this environment is truly the right fit. We want teammates who thrive here, not just survive here. If you are excited by meaningful problems, motivated by ambitious goals, and energized by working alongside mission-driven colleagues, there is a good chance you will find TRM to be an exceptional place to grow and contribute. Leadership Principles We hire and grow against three leadership principles. They're the standards for how we operate, treat each other, and make decisions. Impact-Oriented Trailblazer: We put customers first and move with speed, focus, and adaptability. We treat every plan like an experiment – test, ship, measure, and iterate quickly. Master Craftsperson: We care deeply about our craft. We balance speed with high standards, own outcomes end‑to‑end, and invest in getting better everyday. Inspiring Colleague: We add clarity and energy, not noise. We bring humility, candor, and a one‑team mindset — giving and receiving feedback to make the team stronger. Join our Mission At TRM, we care deeply about our craft. We are looking for individuals who want their work to matter, who experiment with speed and rigor, and who take pride in building a safer world for billions of people. If you're excited by TRM's mission but don't check every box, we encourage you to apply — we hire for slope, judgment, and the will to learn fast. TRM is a Series C company with $220M in total funding, backed by Goldman Sachs, Bessemer, Y Combinator, Thoma Bravo, and others. Headquartered in San Francisco, TRM operates as a distributed-first company with hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., London, and Singapore. Privacy Policy and Additional Information By submitting your application, you agree to allow TRM Labs to process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy . About Playson Playson builds premium casino games and platform solutions for operators worldwide. Our products reach millions of players across regulated markets, and we ship frequently - which means our certification and compliance evidence has to be as well-engineered as the games themselves. We are hiring a Software Developer, Compliance, to own that engineering: a pipeline that lets us ship faster and safer, and a defence of the platform and the games that holds up in front of a lab, an ISO assessor, and a future SOC 2 auditor. About the role You are a software developer sitting inside compliance. You will build and continuously evolve a secure compliance pipeline so we can ship games and platform changes faster and safer - and you will be the technical person who defends what we shipped when an auditor, a certification lab, or a regulator asks. The scope is not games alone. You will stand in front of game certification labs, and you will also defend the platform: ISO certification of our systems and the evidence work that leads into a future SOC 2 audit. In every case, the job is the same. You produce the proof. You walk the auditor through it. You answer the question that was asked, with the evidence that was requested, and you stop there. You will own the technical side of game certification. You take a game math package from the review channel to the lab, you produce the evidence the lab needs - build hashes, PAR sheets, configuration snapshots, version manifests - and you answer the lab's technical questions yourself, without a developer sitting next to you. When a certificate comes back, you are the person who confirms every deficiency is closed before the game is allowed past the pre-release gate. Between lab submissions, you treat the pipeline as a product. Manual evidence collection, one-off screenshots, and tribal knowledge are the things you replace. You automate controls, tighten the audit trail, and shorten the path from "ready to ship" to "ready to show an auditor" without weakening the bar. Faster and safer at the same time is the point of this role - not one at the expense of the other. What we're looking for You are a developer first. 3+ years writing production code, comfortable reading someone else's codebase and forming your own opinion about what it does. You are not a documentation coordinator who learned some technical words Strong Node.js and TypeScript. Our game math packages, engine integration, rules and bets migrations, test suites, and compliance automation are all JavaScript-side. You will read game math code and verify that what it does matches what we told the lab it does - and you will write the tooling that makes that check repeatable You know what it takes to build certified products. You have worked for an iGaming game provider, a lottery, or another business where products require certification. You understand how that shapes development, testing, and releases, and why the code and supporting evidence need to stay aligned. You build pipelines, not checklists. You have taken a manual, high-stakes process and turned it into something engineered: automated evidence, versioned artefacts, gates that fail closed You can read data and write queries. SQL against a production analytics store, log investigation, understanding a metrics pipeline well enough to tell a real control failure from a broken dashboard Composure in front of an auditor. In a lab session, an ISO assessment, or a future SOC 2 walkthrough, you answer the question that was asked with the evidence that was requested. You communicate with auditors and certification labs precisely and factually. You provide complete evidence for the question or control being assessed, avoid speculation, and escalate regulatory interpretations to the Head of Compliance You know where your authority ends. When a question moves from technical fact to regulatory interpretation or commercial consequence, you route it to the Head of Compliance instead of improvising You write clearly and permanently. Compliance evidence is read years later by people who were not in the room. Your documentation has to survive that You are comfortable saying no. You will be the person telling a squad, under release pressure, that their change does not pass the gate. That conversation needs to be calm, specific, and final Precise by temperament. You check the version number rather than remembering it. You are not bored by an audit trail Nice to have Direct dealings with a certification lab (GLI, BMM, eCOGRA, iTech Labs, or similar) or a gaming regulator Hands-on evidence work for ISO 27001, SOC 2, or an equivalent information-security audit Understanding of RNG, RTP mathematics, and how statistical certification evidence is produced Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction licensing (UKGC, MGA, and regulated EU and LatAm markets) Observability and alerting tooling - Datadog or equivalent, including building automation on top of it rather than just reading dashboards Experience with change-management controls, audit trails, and segregation-of-duties models Incident response experience, particularly where the incident had a regulatory or audit dimension What you can expect on this role A role with real authority: you hold gate sign-off, and a release does not go past you without it Genuine engineering work - you own the compliance pipeline as a product, not a pile of checklists with a technical title Direct exposure to certification labs, ISO assessors, and the path to SOC 2 - rare and portable experience Close collaboration with math, QA, platform, and SRE across games and the platform A compliance function that is being built up deliberately, with room to shape how it works What we offer Competitive Salary Quarterly Bonuses Unlimited Paid Time Off Unlimited Paid Sick Leave Remote & Flexible Working Private Medical Insurance Financial Support for Life Events Professional Development Budget International Exposure Regular Company Events *Benefits may vary depending on location and contractual agreement Join us today! About Flexport:  At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That's why it's our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. We're shaping the future of a $10T industry with solutions powered by innovative technology and exceptional people. Today, companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Flexport technology to move more than $19B of merchandise across 112 countries a year.  The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. Hundreds of engineers and thousands of freight operators around the world rely on Flexport's internal systems every single day to keep billions of dollars of freight moving. Keeping those systems — and the people who use them — secure is not a compliance checkbox. It's the core infrastructure for a company operating across 112 countries. The PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of Flexport's corporate environment: endpoints, identity systems, internal networks, and the SaaS estate. This is a security engineering role, not an IT support role, and not a role where you write policies and hope for the best. You'll build, automate, and be on the ground when things get real. What You'll Do Endpoint & SaaS security Own and mature our endpoint security stack (EDR) across macOS and Windows fleets , writing device policy as code — configuration profiles, remediation scripts, and enforcement rules — with staged rollout and rollback built in. Own security configuration and monitoring for Flexport's critical SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, and similar) through SSPM tooling, catching risky OAuth grants and configuration drift before they become incidents. Access management Drive Flexport's identity posture: SSO coverage, phishing-resistant MFA and passkey rollout, SCIM lifecycle automation, and least-privilege access across the SaaS and cloud estate. Lead Flexport's zero-trust journey — making sure the right people have the right access, with the right controls, verified continuously. Detection & response Build and tune detection rules in our SIEM , turning signal into actionable alerts, not noise. Lead incident response for security events: triage, contain, remediate, and write the retrospective. Vulnerability & risk management Run regular assessments of corporate endpoints and prioritize findings by real business risk. Manage vendor and third-party security reviews , working with procurement and legal to evaluate risk before it lands in our environment. Security enablement & leadership Partner with IT, Engineering, and People teams to embed security into the way we work without creating friction that drives people to workarounds. Develop and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and internal documentation that make the whole team more capable, and mentor engineers earlier in their career. Bring a point of view on how agentic AI tools and browser-based AI assistants change what corporate security needs to watch for . You Should Have Typically 5–8 years of experience in enterprise security, corporate IT security, or information security engineering — we care more about what you've built than the exact number. If you meet most of this, apply. Strong working knowledge of endpoint security tooling: DLP (Cyberhaven, Purview, Varonis, or similar) and EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar). Practical SIEM experience , writing detection logic, triaging alerts, and reducing false positive noise. Experience leading or playing a significant role in security incident response. Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Nice to Have Experience with network security in a cloud-first environment (ZTNA, SASE, DNS filtering). Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) for security configuration management. Familiarity with SCIM, OIDC, and fine-grained authorization at scale. Experience working in a high-growth, global technology company. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar, for automating detection, response, and operational tasks. Exposure to privacy regulations relevant to a European and global context (GDPR, etc.). How We Work We come to the office 3 times a week to hang out, whiteboard, and ship together. We have the latest hardware and software, including frontier AI models on day one. We're agile, but not dogmatic. Teams decide how they work best. Why This Role Is Special Broad ownership: you're not a cog in a large security org — you own the corporate security posture end to end, from endpoints to observability to incident response. Real stakes: Flexport operates in 112 countries with a global workforce. Security here matters at a genuine scale. Build, don't just operate: we want to automate and engineer our way to a stronger posture, not just run playbooks. You're part of PSI: the platform, security, and infrastructure teams work hand in hand at Flexport. We value engineering quality and treat security as infrastructure, not just policy. We sponsor visas for the right candidate. What's in it for you An opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest-growing companies, where you'll have the chance to create a global impact while being part of a thriving multinational environment. Daily catered lunches incl. vegetarian options, breakfast, snacks and soft drinks available in our office on a daily basis. Commute expenses: Flexport will cover home-office commuting costs for employees living outside of Amsterdam. 25 working days as vacation days based on full-time employment. Health insurance: Flexport offers a collective health insurance plan including a basic package and any available additional packages. Your monthly premium is fully paid by Flexport. A defined pension contribution scheme. Equity program: every team member becomes a shareholder, aligning our success with yours. As a private company in a multi-trillion dollar industry, you have a direct stake in our collective growth and success. Employee Assistance Program through Aetna Resources for Living: Flexport provides an employer-sponsored program at no cost to you and your household members. Parental leave benefit: Flexport is here to support you and your family during one of the most important times in life — the birth of a child. Our parental leave program allows both mothers and partners to take time off from work for pregnancy, childbirth, and to bond with your new child. Commitment to Equal Opportunity At Flexport, our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse, dedicated and engaged workforce. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, health status, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law. Global Data Privacy Notice for Job Candidates and Applicants Depending on your location, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may regulate the way we manage the data of job applicants. By submitting your application, you are agreeing to our use and processing of your data as required. All security disciplines work under the umbrella of the combined PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team: we build the paved path and tooling that hundreds of engineers around the world rely on every day to ship. This is not a compliance or certification role. You won't be measured on audit portfolios. You'll be measured on the guardrails you build and whether engineering teams reach for them by default. A misconfigured IAM boundary here doesn't just degrade a dashboard: it can stall a customs filing or strand a container. Flexport also runs a genuinely heterogeneous estate: hundreds of services, carrier and customs integrations, and infrastructure spanning three continents, which makes multi-account architecture and cross-border data handling real problems rather than exam questions. What You'll Do Architecture & guardrails Design and review cloud security architecture for AWS and Kubernetes: account structure, network segmentation, workload identity, and secure-by-default patterns for new services. Fix the Terraform module, not the finding — drive remediation-at-source so misconfigurations get closed at the pattern level, not one ticket at a time. Kubernetes & workload security Harden our Kubernetes platform: pod security, service mesh and network policy, secrets management, and supply-chain controls (image provenance and signing). Partner with platform engineers so new services inherit secure defaults instead of requesting them after the fact. Policy & automation Build and maintain policy-as-code and IaC scanning that block risky patterns in CI. Write real code — Go or Python, shipped through the same CI/CD the rest of engineering uses. Partnership Act as the local technical voice on cloud and infrastructure security for our Amsterdam engineering teams, and partner closely with the US-based cloud security team. You Should Have Typically 5–8 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform security engineering, including hands-on AWS and Kubernetes work — we care more about what you've built than the exact number. If you meet most of this, apply. Proficiency in at least one compiled language (Go or similar) and one scripting language (Python or similar). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar) and a GitOps delivery model — changes shipped through code review, not tickets and manual steps. Working knowledge of IAM and least-privilege design across cloud and container environments. Nice to Have Experience with cloud security posture tooling (Wiz, Orca, Prisma, or similar) as a signal source rather than an end in itself. Software supply-chain security experience (SLSA, artifact signing, provenance). Familiarity with EU data-residency and cross-border data-handling considerations. Multi-cloud experience. How We Work In Amsterdam we come to the office 3 times a week to hang out, whiteboard, and ship together. We stay closely aligned with our coworkers on other continents. We have the latest hardware and software, including frontier AI models on day one. We're agile, but not dogmatic. Teams decide how they work best. Why This Role Is Special You'll inherit a real, established estate with legacy to pave over — not a blank slate. If you want the harder, more honest version of greenfield work, this is it. This is a builder's cloud security role in a market where the comparable senior openings skew toward certification and audit work. You won't be asked to own a PCI portfolio here. You're part of PSI: security is treated as infrastructure with real engineering quality bars, not a policy function. We sponsor visas for the right candidate. What's in it for you An opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest-growing companies, where you'll have the chance to create a global impact while being part of a thriving multinational environment.
