Manager of Implementations, High Touch - EMEA
Full TimeFully RemoteDirector
goproject managementteachingsalescustomer successonboarding+1

Manager of Implementations, High Touch - EMEA Hi, I'm John and I'm the Head of Professional Services at Ashby . One of my favorite aspects of Ashby is our operating principle of Continuous Improvement . Coupled with our principle of caring deeply about our customers, we often find ourselves wondering 'what is a better way to accomplish this'. That's why I am thrilled to be hiring an EMEA Manager of High Touch Implementations! As a leader on our growing Professional Services team (within Ashby's Customer Success organization), you'll have the opportunity to play a key role early in our customers' journey, ultimately upleveling the overall customer experience. About this role: As our Manager of High Touch Implementations in EMEA, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality experiences for customers beginning their Ashby journey. You will lead an EMEA-based team of Implementation Specialists aligned to our High Touch (mid-market) customers, reporting into our EMEA Manager of Implementations. You will oversee the delivery of segment-aligned implementation experiences, and will partner cross-functionally to support scoping and planning for prospective customers. Role requirements: Implementation & Project Management: You have extensive experience managing and executing implementation and onboarding projects (defining the work, aligning with stakeholders, communicating the project plan, and ultimately delivering results in accordance with the agreed upon expectations). You keep the team on track to ensure milestones are met. You work effectively in a remote-first setting, with the ability to travel <10% as needed for strategic customer engagements. Team Leadership: You build and scale high-performing teams, empowering them to achieve outcomes that meet or exceed the high standards set by our team and company. Customer Centricity: You are adept at understanding customer needs and tailoring implementations to meet their specific requirements. You build strong customer relationships by maintaining high levels of engagement and communication; you're the customer's proactive guide and advocate throughout the implementation period. Bias for Action: You move work forward, translating ambiguity into clear paths, driving toward outcomes, and ensuring follow-through. Regional Focus: You leverage your understanding of the EMEA market to define and evolve how implementations are delivered, ensuring our approach optimizes for regional considerations and scales without compromising quality. Fluency with Enterprise Motions: You are comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving requirements. You are experienced in navigating change management processes at scale and helping customers adapt to new systems and a refreshed approach. Technical Proficiency: You have a solid understanding of a complex product (ideally Ashby) and its technical intricacies; you are technically curious and creative. Critical Thinking & Solutions Orientation: You proactively address thematic customer opportunities and improve our processes accordingly. You don't rely only on 'I've seen this done,' but instead think critically to solve problems. Cross-functional Collaboration: You effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to align and define progress. What Success Looks Like: EMEA customers achieve time-to-value quickly and predictably Implementation quality is consistent across segments without feeling templated Upmarket customers receive an enterprise-ready onboarding experience Clear, effective transitions into Customer Success support strong adoption momentum Scalable processes reduce manual effort while preserving quality You could be a great fit if: ‍ You love to coach. You see every teaching moment as an opportunity and are excited to help your team and our customers grow. You demonstrate clear communication. You ask clarifying questions with precision and can distill complex concepts into simple themes. You approach all stakeholder conversations with confidence. You are a great listener. You see your role as the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders so we can ensure that our offerings continue to evolve in accordance with customer needs. You are a problem solver. You thrive at solving complex challenges with innovative, scalable solutions. ⚡️You know process matters. You are eager to improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and efficacy. Your peers describe you as detail-oriented and technically proficient. You take pride in internal operations. You are data-driven. You use metrics and analytics to inform decisions and measure success. You are adaptable. You can navigate changes in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You might not be a great fit if: You prefer being an individual contributor. You prefer an in-person role over remote. You are less interested in customer-facing roles that require both technical and interpersonal skills. You are accustomed to defining ideas and strategies, yet not responsible for their execution. You prefer working with a simple product (such as a point solution). You prefer exclusively to build (rather than build, iterate, optimize). Our Philosophy Here are a few key points (relevant to the go-to-market side) that should give you an idea of what it is like to work with us: We spend a lot of time building best-in-class products since we believe a highly differentiated product is a lot easier to sell. We want to offer deep expertise whenever we interact with prospects and customers. We strongly believe that small teams with very talented people (and the right work environment) deliver much better performance than teams with large headcount. We hire and compensate accordingly. We value a strong sense of ownership, principled thinking over experience, and thoughtful communication (we put a lot of effort into using the right communication channels) - we'll get into these and other values during the hiring process. The Interview At Ashby, our team and interview process want to help you show your best self. Our interview process is structured to get to know you and your career as well as empower you with insight into our key focus areas. Here is the process in its entirety: 30 min - Recruiter Screen with Talent Team 45 min - Interview with Head of Professional Services (Hiring Manager) 45 min - Mock Customer Escalation Call Final Round Part 1: 30 min - Interview with VP of Customer Success 30 min - Cross-functional Leadership interview Final Round Part 2: 30 min - Interview with CEO 10 min - Closing Questions with Hiring Manager Benefits You'll get the time to do things the right way; we put a lot of emphasis on high quality work and avoid quick hacks as much as possible. You get to sell a product that our prospects & customers are truly excited about. Competitive compensation is offered. 10-year exercise window for stock options. You shouldn't feel pressure to purchase stock options if you leave Ashby —do it when you feel financially comfortable. Unlimited PTO with four weeks recommended per year. Expect "Vacation?" in our one-on-one agenda until you start taking it Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US . We plan to expand this to employees in other countries as situations arise. Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget. Get what you need to be happy and productive! $100/month education budget with more expensive items (like conferences) covered with manager approval Ashby provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities. Ashby is committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. We confirm that this advertisement is for an active, existing vacancy within our organization. Please be advised that we may use artificial intelligence-driven tools to assist our recruitment team in screening, assessing, and selecting candidates for this position.

Use HubSpot to track every touchpoint - calls, emails, follow-ups, and deal stages - so your pipeline is always clean, up to date, and easy to forecast from. Recommend the right coverage based on customer needs using a consultative, customer‑first approach that balances protection, price, and eligibility. Comfort with CRM and workflow tools (HubSpot preferred) and a willingness to lean into data, playbooks, and feedback to continuously improve performance. You'll report directly to our VP of Engineering and carry out our product vision while building a scalable engineering culture that breeds innovation. Code Democracy – Every engineer has a voice. We value diverse perspectives and foster an environment for open discussion on architecture and technical ideas. Autonomy & Focus – Our engineers enjoy flexibility with minimal meetings and uninterrupted time to dive deep into problem-solving. Mission-Driven Work – You'll be part of a team that supports nonprofits, charities, and organizations making a real difference around the world. What You'll Bring to the Team An execution mindset with a strong bias toward delivering and iterating A product-oriented approach with a keen eye for consistency and user impact A passion for leadership and the ability to scale engineering practices in a high-growth environment Experience building financial products and a deep understanding of money movement, compliance, and financial infrastructure Responsibilities Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop and execute the Treasury engineering strategy Lead, manage, and mentor a talented team of full-stack engineers building Givebutter Wallet features, payment tools, and financial dashboards Own the Treasury engineering function, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives Drive the development of same-day ACH transfer tools, card issuing systems, and QuickBooks integration that help nonprofits move money faster Build and maintain financial infrastructure that enables nonprofits to earn rewards on their funds and put money to work faster Bring technical expertise to the evolution of Givebutter's financial systems; ensure architecture and stack are optimized for security, reliability, and growth Improve internal engineering workflows, continually refining best practices Champion code quality across the team and uphold a high standard for maintainable and scalable solutions Evaluate and apply AI and machine learning tools to drive innovation in financial product development Requirements 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP/Laravel) Hands-on experience designing and building scalable financial or fintech systems, ideally including payment processing, ACH, card issuing, or accounting integrations At least 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ engineers Strong understanding of financial compliance, security requirements, and data integrity in regulated environments Proven experience in people management, mentorship, and clear communication Demonstrated success in hiring and developing remote engineering teams Experience in a product-led growth environment is a strong plus More about Givebutter Benefits Remote Work: Work remotely from one of our 10 hubs (Austin, Denver, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Nashville). Staff Product Manager
Paddle
PaddleUK (Fully Remote)23 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteDirector
restcompliancecompliancesalescustomer successresearch

What do we do? Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we're a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It's faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better. We're backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 6000 software sellers in 245 territories globally. The Role: We are looking for an exceptional Staff Product Manager to lead our flagship Checkout experience – the most strategically critical, highest-visibility product surface at Paddle. Every dollar our customers earn flows through Checkout. This is a massive-scale engine: we handle ~10 million sessions a month , processing $180M+ in monthly payments across a global network of 10,000+ sellers . The decisions made here directly move the needle on conversion, revenue, and customer trust. This is the toughest product role at Paddle, and we're looking for someone who is energised by that. You will own the Checkout product end-to-end: its strategy, its roadmap, its performance, and its commercial outcomes. You'll operate as the senior product voice in the room with our executive team, engineering leaders, and largest customers, and you'll be expected to set the bar – not just for what we ship, but for how the wider product org makes decisions, runs discovery, and uses data. You'll work in a trio with a strong engineering lead and an experienced product designer, with daily exposure to Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, Risk, Finance, and Exco. Given the cross-functional intensity of the work, this role requires regular in-person collaboration with the Checkout team and the wider Payments group. This is an opportunity for a staff-level operator who wants to own a product that genuinely matters – one with hard technical problems, real commercial stakes, and the platform to influence company strategy. What you'll do: Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Own the long-term vision and strategy for Checkout, grounded in market trends, payments innovation, customer needs, and Paddle's commercial goals. Translate this into a roadmap you can defend at Exco and to customers. Make – and stand behind – the tough prioritisation calls. Navigate ambiguous, multi-stakeholder trade-offs where the "right" answer requires deep judgement across technical constraints, commercial impact, compliance, and UX. Set the bar for discovery and prioritisation across the wider Payments group; coach other PMs on how to do this well. Product Development & Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-faceted initiatives without needing oversight. Define and enforce the delivery standards (discovery, specs, experimentation, launch quality) that the rest of the product team operates against. Work in a tight trio with engineering and design to ship fast, instrument well, and iterate based on real customer signal. Use AI tooling to compress the loop from idea to spec to prototype – we expect ideas to be testable in days, not weeks. Run a continuous programme of optimisation – A/B tests, beta programmes, usability research – to compound conversion and UX gains across a high-volume, consumer-facing surface. Data, Metrics & Commercial Impact: Own the KPIs that matter for Checkout (conversion, authorisation rates, revenue impact, NPS, etc.) and weave them into the strategic narrative for the business. Dive into data independently. We don't expect you to wait for an analyst; we expect you to pull the numbers (with AI help where it accelerates you), form a hypothesis, and bring a recommendation. Use product data to influence business strategy beyond your immediate roadmap – pricing, GTM, risk policy, settlement, etc. Stakeholder Management & Storytelling: Align senior stakeholders – including Exco, Sales leadership, and key customers – around the Checkout strategy. Tailor the message, never the substance. Craft compelling written narratives. At staff level we expect your docs to be the artefact that drives decisions, not a deck or a meeting. Be a credible technical partner to engineering on complex payments, integrations, and platform decisions. GTM & Customer Proximity: Oversee GTM for Checkout launches across multiple customer segments and geographies, working with Marketing, Sales, Solutions, and Support. Shape the customer-centric culture of the team – consistently in front of customers yourself, and building the processes that keep the rest of the team close to them too. We'd love to hear from you if you: You're used to owning a high-stakes, high-complexity product end-to-end with clear, measurable business impact – or you're a senior PM who is unambiguously operating beyond your title. You have specific, hands-on experience with payments, checkout, or comparable consumer-facing fintech experiences at scale. You understand auth rates, 3DS, SCA, PSP economics, fraud trade-offs, etc. You've worked on high-volume, consumer-facing products where small UX or technical changes have outsized commercial impact, and you can talk through specific wins you've owned. You're technically credible – comfortable in the details with engineers, able to reason about systems, APIs, and trade-offs without needing them to translate. You're data-fluent and metrics-led. You don't believe a thing until you've seen the numbers, and you can run your own analysis end-to-end. You use AI as a daily force multiplier – for research, writing, analysis, and building functional prototypes – and can show specific examples of how it's changed the quality and speed of your output. You'll be working alongside engineers and designers who are pushing the same boundary. You've built and shipped in scale-up or startup environments, including zero-to-one work. You're at home with ambiguity, not blocked by it. You're an outstanding written and verbal communicator – English is your primary working language, and your writing changes minds. Director of Self Serve

gotradingsalespartnershipsonboarding

What do we do? Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we're a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It's faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better. We're backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 10, 000 software sellers in 245 territories globally. The Role Self-serve today represents a meaningful part of Paddle's revenue. This role owns the commercial mandate to grow that significantly. Not just to run self-serve, but to build the strategy for where and how it scales, and execute against it. We're hiring a Director of Self-Serve to take full commercial ownership of Paddle's self-serve motion, running and scaling it as a business line. Self-serve is a material and fast-moving part of our revenue, and it needs an owner who thinks in unit economics, not just funnel metrics. You'll set the strategic direction, and work across Finance, Product, Engineering, Demand Generation, Partnerships, and RevOps to align everyone behind it. Getting this right is a genuinely cross-functional endeavour, and your ability to bring people with you will be just as important as your commercial acumen. You'll operate with a small, focused team including engineering capacity. This is a role for someone who wants to build and run the engine hands on, not manage through layers. What you'll do Own the line. Carry the commercial number for self-serve end to end, from acquisition through adoption, to revenue and net retention. Own the unit economics, and how they improve. Set the strategy. Form a clear commercial view of where self-serve creates value, ensure Finance and Product alignment, and translate it into a plan the business can execute against. Own activation and time-to-value. Evolve who and how we onboard through self-serve, how we nurture them through lifecycle stages, and the in-product experience that gets them to value fast. Increasing volume while decreasing time-to-value, not trading one for the other. You fundamentally approach the self-serve experience as a product, running structured discovery and experimentation, not defaulting to only marketing levers. Shape the demand. Define the customer profile that makes the economics work and work collaboratively with Demand Generation on the targeting you need, co-owning a single funnel against a shared ICP. Orchestrate cross-functionally. Codify the work into clear streams with clear owners, influence the Product, Engineering, and Risk roadmaps, and run a regular business cadence that keeps people aligned on priorities and impact. Deepen partner integrations. Work hand-in-glove with Partnerships to turn distribution relationships into deep well-integrated channels, owning the commercial outcome of partner-sourced volume. Build and run the engine. Design and run the experimentation, tooling, and tracking to improve funnel codification, time-to-value, activation, and conversion using AI where it raises velocity and quality, applied to the right customer. As the motion scales, you'll shape the team around it. Make the economics stack up. Working closely with finance you own self-serve pricing and packaging as a lever, to ensure profitable scale. How you operate Go get the answer yourself. When something doesn't add up, you pull the data, run the analysis, and don't wait to be handed a conclusion. Self-reliance is core to how you operate, not a fallback when support isn't available. You interrogate, not just observe. Live the 'five whys' principle, with the ability to take a plausible looking number, trend, signal and stress-test it until you've found the actual driver, not the first explanation that fits. You default to hypothesis and experiment before you default to opinion or output, treating the funnel as something to be iteratively shaped, not just optimised within. Given a mission, you don't let go of it. You have a real hunger to find and unlock value you believe is there, working through blockers, organisational, technical, or data. We'd love to hear from you if you are Deeply experienced in a PLG or self-serve motion in a high-growth tech business, where you've built and owned the funnel rather than a sales-assisted or enterprise motion, and have been accountable for the number, not adjacent to it. A commercial operator who has owned a revenue line, channel, or segment. Someone who operates in founder mode with the instinct to understand the economics, not just the funnel beneath them. You think like a product manager: prioritizing ruthlessly, scope experiments tightly, and see the boundary between growth and product as something to work across. Fluent at moving from data to a commercial conclusion, with the discipline to separate signal from noise and turn analysis into a clear decision rather than a list of observations. A sharp critical thinker who interrogates the brief rather than taking it at face value, challenges assumptions (including ours), and is as willing to conclude "this isn't where we should be investing" as to confirm the plan. A genuine cross-functional leader who has brought structure to messy, multi-team programmes, influenced roadmaps you don't control, and run the cadence that holds a programme together. A credible presence in front of senior stakeholders up to executive level; you communicate with clarity and authority and can take a room with competing priorities to a clear decision. Equally comfortable operating at altitude and dropping into the detail, and always coming back up with a point of view, not just findings. Able to use AI pragmatically; dynamic onboarding, predictive scoring, real-time segmentation, as a means to commercial outcomes, not an end in itself. Everyone is welcome at Paddle At Paddle, we're committed to removing invisible barriers, both for our customers and within our own teams. We recognise and celebrate that every Paddler is unique and we welcome every individual perspective. As an inclusive employer, we don't care if, or where, you studied, what you look like or where you're from. AI Operations Lead
KarbonUSA (Fully Remote)23 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteDirector$180,000 - $190,000 / Year
pythontypescriptsqlresttriagedental+4

About Karbon Karbon is the global leader in AI-powered practice management software for accounting firms. We provide an award-winning cloud platform that helps tens of thousands of accounting professionals work more efficiently and collaboratively every day. With customers in 40 countries, we have grown into a globally distributed team across the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines. We are well-funded, ranked #1 on G2, growing rapidly, and have a people-first culture that is recognized with Great Place To Work® certification and on Fortune magazine's Best Small Workplaces™ List. Karbon is further ahead on AI adoption than most companies our size. Every department is running AI daily. Hundreds of skills and workflows have been built by our own team. Fourteen department champions drive adoption and share knowledge across the business. The foundation is real and it works. The next phase is scale. We need one person whose entire job is extending what we have built, measuring what it returns, and adding the next layer of capability. Not a strategy deck. A working system, the governance that makes it trustworthy, and the numbers that prove it. You will report into the CEO and work across every department. You will have the access and sponsorship to make changes stick. About the Role Build the Tooling Ship internal automations and agents that remove repeated manual work across Sales, CS, Implementation, Support, and Operations. Connect AI to the systems we already run, through APIs and MCP servers. The first build is the data gateway. Karbon runs its own MCP server. You extend it into a routing proxy that sits between Claude and every internal data source teams need. Authentication via Okta. RBAC enforcement by department. Request logging for spend attribution and audit. Once the gateway is approved by Security, new connectors plug into a config entry instead of triggering a full review each time. That is your first thirty days. After that: CS gets a renewal risk signal. Sales gets a proposal draft automation. Implementation gets a SOW generator with scope-creep flags. Support gets a ticket triage router. Prototype fast. Harden what people use. Delete what they ignore. Hand every tool to an owner in the team that uses it. You build it. They run it. Own Governance and Visibility Manage the Claude access and provisioning workflow — seat requests, model and tool access, connector approvals — and the Slack workflows that support it. Run the connector security review pipeline in partnership with Security. Own the spend dashboard across all AI tools, not just Claude. Cursor, Codex, Linear AI, and anything else the org is running sit alongside Claude in one view. Department leaders see their own number weekly without asking you to pull it. Bad trends surface before they become invoice surprises. Extend that visibility into an ROI framework: adoption rate, hours saved, cost per seat, project-level impact. Partner with Finance on budget accountability. Run the AI champions program. Fourteen department champions, organized into pods, own peer enablement and skill submissions within their teams. You run the cadences, maintain the hub pages, and hold champions accountable for engagement. When people leave Karbon, their projects and skills do not leave with them. You own the offboarding flow that captures and reassigns that work. Build and maintain the AI wiki — per-department documentation of tools, active use cases, and skills in use. Keep it current as tools evolve. Train Teams and Set the Standard Work with each department lead to agree how their team uses AI, then hold that standard. Run practical training. Short, specific, and repeatable. Teach people the efficient way to get the same answer. Most cost problems are habit problems. After month one, you know what each team's workflows look like because you built them. That makes you a better trainer than anyone who has not. Build and maintain a shared library of prompts, skills, and patterns so knowledge stays when a person leaves. Own the pipeline that moves skills from intake through review to the shared library — and automate the parts of it that should not require a human. Measure and Report the Return Define the small set of metrics that show whether AI is working: cost, adoption, delivery, and quality. Build the data pipelines behind those metrics. Expect the source data to be messy. Publish a regular report to the executive team. Same format every time. Bad news included. Delete any metric that has not changed a decision in a quarter. About You! You shipped production software in the last two years, as the person writing the code. Python or TypeScript, SQL, and REST APIs. You built something real on top of a large language model. Not a demo. Something with users, error handling, and a cost you had to control. You worked directly with non-technical teams as the technical person in the room. Forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, GTM engineer, internal tools engineer, or similar. You know what a CS renewal motion looks like and what implementation scoping feels like. You do not need to have worked in those roles. You need to have built something those teams actually used. You can build a number out of messy data and defend it to a CFO. You have run a cross-functional program where the participants did not report to you — a champion network, an ambassador program, an adoption initiative. You know how to create accountability without authority. You write clearly, and you can say no to work that will not pay off. Bonus Points: Accounting, professional services, or B2B software market experience. Familiarity with MCP server development, Claude API, or agent frameworks. Experience with Okta or similar identity providers. What Success Looks Like! By month six: Three automations run in production, each owned by the team that uses it. Every department leader can see their own AI usage and cost, including spend outside Claude. The spend dashboard is live and trusted. Your first report to the executive team is argued with, not just acknowledged. The gateway has Security sign-off and every new connector goes through it. By month twelve: Cost per unit of work delivered is moving in the right direction, and everyone agrees on how it is calculated. Three departments extend and run their own tools without you. New starters learn our way of working with AI as part of onboarding. Champion pods are submitting and reviewing skills without you in the loop. The AI wiki is maintained by department owners, not by you. Why Work at Karbon? Gain global experience across Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Canada Strong benefits package including: Flexible Time Off with an encouraged 4 weeks use per year Company paid medical for you and eligible spouse/partner and dependents Paid dental and vision and eligible spouse/partner and dependents 401(k) with company matching Flexible Spending Account Up to 8 weeks paid parental leave Work-from-home stipend Work with (and learn from) an experienced, high-performing team A collaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity, invests in development and provides consistent feedback Be part of a fast-growing company that firmly believes in promoting high performers from within As we hire across various locations within the USA we are required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The range provided is broad and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as physical location/cost of living in that location, years of experience, skills, and other business needs. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, for some roles very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits. While we believe competitive compensation is a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you also spend time considering why our mission, purpose and values are right for you. We are creating something transformational here, and we hope you are as excited about the future as we are! The estimated base salary range for this role is: $180,000—$190,000 USD Please be aware that Karbon will only contact you via email from our domain, karbonhq.com. If you receive an email from any other domain, please do not click any of those links. Karbon embraces diversity and inclusion, aligning with our values as a business. Research has shown that women and underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single criteria. If you've made it this far in the job description but your past experience doesn't perfectly align, we do encourage you to still apply. You could still be the right person for the role! We recruit and reward people based on capability and performance. We don't discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, lifestyle, age, educational background, national origin, religion, physical or cognitive ability, and other diversity dimensions that may hinder inclusion in the organization. Generally, if you are a good person, we want to talk to you. If there are any adjustments or accommodations that we can make to assist you during the recruitment process, and your journey at Karbon, contact us at people.support@karbonhq.com for a confidential discussion. At this time, we request that agency referrals are not submitted for this position. We appreciate your understanding and encourage direct applications from interested candidates. Thank you!

Manager, Credit Risk
Jobber
JobberCanada (Fully Remote)23 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteDirector$121,000 - $121,000 / Year
pythongosqlmachine learningdata scienceforecasting+8

Please note: Our Talent team at Jobber will be offline for Jobber Impact - our flagship event of the year, bringing Jobberinos together to connect, learn, and celebrate what we're building - starting October 6th and extending until October 9th. We'll be back to go through applications and reach out with an update on your candidacy once we return next week! This will be updated automatically on all job posts above our What you can expect from Jobber headline. The automated email to candidates will have the same message as above. Do you think differently about risk? Are you excited by the idea of building credit risk management from the ground up, AI-native, rather than bolting AI onto an old playbook? Then Jobber might be the place for you. We're looking for a Manager, Credit Risk to join our Fintech department. Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn't like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That's why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want! Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we've come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we've just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers . The Team: Fintech is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a core strategic priority for us as a company. We're investing in this area because we believe embedding financial tools within our product deepens our ability to help small businesses be successful—whether that's helping them get paid through Jobber Payments, or, in the near future, offering them access to capital through a growing lending business. Our Risk team is a critical part of the broader Fintech team, and core to Jobber's success. Credit Risk is responsible for the frameworks, models, and operational discipline that let us extend payments and lending products responsibly, protecting both our customers and Jobber from undue credit exposure. The Role: The Manager, Credit Risk will lead and grow a team of Credit Risk Analysts, owning the day-to-day operations of the credit risk function while helping build it into something more ambitious: an AI-native credit risk practice, built for Jobber Payments today and ready to scale into a growing lending business. This is a role for a builder, not a doer—someone who looks at a manual process or an ad hoc decision and asks how it should be automated, modeled, or systematized, rather than simply executed by hand. You'll work closely with Data Science and Risk Analytics to design and strengthen credit risk models, policies, and monitoring, and you'll partner cross-functionally across Fintech, Product, and Customer Support to make sure credit risk decisions are embedded seamlessly into the products our customers use every day. The Manager, Credit Risk will: Lead, coach, and grow a team of Credit Risk Analysts, setting the standard for how the team investigates, decisions, and communicates credit risk. Own credit risk operations end-to-end: underwriting and exposure decisions, portfolio monitoring, loss forecasting, and reporting on credit risk performance and trends. Partner closely with Data Science and Risk Analytics to build, validate, and improve credit risk models and decisioning logic, including scorecards, statistical models, and machine learning approaches where they add value. Champion an AI-native approach to credit risk management—using AI and automation to build novel solutions to novel problems, not just to speed up existing workflows. Build and strengthen the credit risk function for Jobber's payments business today, and lay the groundwork for credit risk management of a growing lending business. Work cross-functionally with Fintech, Product, and Customer Support teams to embed credit risk policy and controls into product and operational workflows. Develop a credit risk provisioning process and reserving practices building from IFRS9 or equivalent GAAP standards, partnering with Finance and Accounting as needed. Identify opportunities to automate manual credit risk processes and drive them from idea through to implementation. Report on credit risk exposure, portfolio health, and emerging trends to Fintech and Risk leadership. Support broader Fintech and Risk initiatives on credit-risk-relevant topics, including vendor evaluations and new product launches. To be successful, you should have: Demonstrated experience in credit risk, in financial services, fintech, payments, or lending, including people leadership or mentorship of an analyst team. A builder's mindset: a track record of solving problems through automation and tooling, not just process, and genuine enthusiasm for using AI to build new approaches to credit risk rather than only applying existing ones. A deeply data-centric approach to decision-making, with comfort working directly in the data rather than relying solely on others to produce it for you. Proficiency in SQL and Python (or a similar language), enough to independently pull, analyze, and interrogate data and to collaborate credibly with Data Science and Analytics. Working familiarity with statistical and machine learning approaches used in credit risk management (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, gradient boosting)—you don't need to be a data scientist, but you should understand what these approaches do, how they work at a conceptual level, and when it's appropriate to apply them. Familiarity with IFRS9 or equivalent GAAP standards (e.g., CECL) for credit loss provisioning, or a strong ability to learn and apply this quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or quantitative findings into decisions that product, operations, and leadership stakeholders can act on. A genuine passion for fintech, and curiosity about how payments and lending products should manage risk differently than legacy financial institutions. The ability to embrace ambiguity and change—we don't know what we don't know, so you should be comfortable coming in and improving the process rather than waiting for one to be handed to you. The ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills. We are a mix of fully remote and hybrid distributed across the country. While you'll be part of a team, you'll need to be a self-starter who can find direction and guidance proactively. It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had: Familiarity with credit scorecards, including scorecard development, calibration, or monitoring. Experience building or overseeing credit risk models or policies for a lending product (installment loans, lines of credit, merchant cash advances, or similar). Experience with modern payments or lending infrastructure (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Plaid, or similar). Experience working with or evaluating AI/ML tooling or vendors for risk decisioning. Familiarity with Slack, Salesforce, Asana, Confluence, or other collaboration tools. For extended remote roles: We believe great collaboration is intentional, and that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect from time to time. This role is open to candidates anywhere in Canada. Employees who live in one of our hub cities—Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo—will participate in their department's in-office schedule, while employees outside our hub cities will work remotely. Compensation: At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $121,000, a midpoint of $142,200, and a maximum salary of $163,600, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling. We design our compensation to reflect each new hire's skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Luxury Presence is building the AI growth platform for real estate. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and other top investors, we're a Series C company that has hit $100M in annual recurring revenue. More than 90,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the WSJ Real Trends top 100 agents in the United States, use us to run and grow their business. About the Role Social is one of the most visible surfaces of the LP brand, and it's ready for a strategic owner. You'll set the direction for how LP shows up across every platform, from LinkedIn to Reddit, and turn that presence into a real growth channel rather than a content calendar that runs on its own. This is a build role. You'll define the strategy, prove that social drives pipeline, and make the function a reliable partner to the rest of marketing. You'll work closely with our CEO on his thought leadership presence and with content, demand gen, and sales on campaigns that need social to land. What You'll Do Build and publish a documented social strategy within your first 90 days: channel priorities, content pillars, posting cadence, and voice guidelines, reviewed quarterly against performance data. Own a quarterly social-sourced pipeline target, set jointly with sales and RevOps, and build the reporting that shows a clear line between social activity and business results. Grow share of voice for LP's core narrative through follower growth, reach, and impressions on flagship content, including our CEO's thought leadership and our Reddit presence. Manage community health end to end: engagement rate, response time, and sentiment, with a clear before-and-after benchmark from your first day. Make social a dependable contributor to at least one other function's goals within your first year, such as the newsletter's social section, video series distribution, or webinar promotion, with a documented handoff process. Own real-time judgment calls. Reddit threads and comment sections move fast, and there's no playbook for every scenario. You'll decide when to engage, when to escalate, and how to protect the brand without waiting for direction. What We're Looking For Skills and Experience 4-6 years in social media or community management, with at least 2 years owning strategy rather than executing someone else's calendar. Deep working knowledge of how platforms actually behave, not a one-size-fits-all approach to LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok. Comfortable pulling and interpreting engagement, reach, and conversion data, and adjusting strategy based on what the numbers say. Strong brand voice discipline. You can make LP sound like LP everywhere, including in fast-moving, informal spaces like Reddit. Hands-on content creation or art direction skill, whether that's producing content yourself or briefing designers and videographers effectively. Attributes You operate as a strategic owner of the function, not an execution arm. You spot opportunities and act on them rather than waiting to be asked. You have strong judgment under ambiguity. When something goes sideways in public, you own it end to end. You hold a high quality bar even at volume. Social is often a prospect's first touchpoint with LP, and you know sloppy content undercuts the brand. You work fluidly across functions. Social touches nearly everything else in marketing, and you're comfortable coordinating with content, demand gen, sales, and leadership. You stay ahead of platform shifts and cultural moments instead of catching up to them weeks later.
