Bid Lead
AccurxLondon (Shoreditch), Germany29 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteLead£70,000 - £70,000 / Year
goclinicalgeneral practicetriageprocurementinsurance+1

Accurx is solving healthcare productivity for the NHS. For decades, the NHS has struggled with fragmented systems that make simple tasks feel impossible. At Accurx, we're changing that by building a single, system-wide platform that helps every patient get gold-standard, efficient, and joined-up care. What started as a way for GPs to text a patient has now evolved into an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices. Our platform now powers Total Triage to manage patient demand, and Self-Book , which lets patients schedule their own appointments in seconds. We've automated routine care with Patient Questionnaires for long-term conditions, while Accumail finally allows staff-to-staff communication to happen instantly across different care settings. We're now pushing the boundaries of the consultation itself with Accurx Scribe , our AI-powered note-taker that drafts medical notes in real-time. We're not just shipping features. We're giving clinicians their time back and ensuring every patient journey is as smooth as it should be. How you'll drive Accurx's primary care bid strategy The Bid Lead is the strategic lead for each bid they own, from early capture to post-award handover. They set the bid's direction and win strategy and lead the cross-functional team that delivers it. They bring capture and bid expertise to produce outstanding responses to multi-million-pound tenders. They also lead Accurx's work on frameworks in their portfolio. The role will lead Accurx's responses to trust-wide and/or ICB primary care bids. Capture. You'll shape our biggest primary care opportunities 6–12 months before release, working with opportunity owners and regional teams to build account insight, influence early engagement and turn customer needs into distinctive win themes. Decide where we can win — and how. You'll lead qualification and go / no-go decisions, bringing together NHS priorities, ICB needs, Accurx's strategy and the commercial approach to build a clear strategy for winning each opportunity. Lead multiple complex bids from start to finish. You'll bring together and motivate cross-functional teams, owning the plan, governance, risks and deadlines from kick-off through to submission, presentations and handover — while keeping stakeholders informed along the way. Turn our impact into responses that stand out. Working closely with the Bid Writer / Manager, you'll set the win themes, key messages and evidence for each response, lead quality reviews and make sure every submission is compelling, compliant and commercially sound. Make every bid strengthen the next one. You'll turn feedback, wins and losses into better content and ways of working, strengthen our position on the frameworks used to buy primary care digital services, and use tools including AI thoughtfully to make our capture and bid processes more effective. You should apply if... You have APMP certification (Foundation or above) and/or equivalent proven bid expertise , with extensive experience leading multiple complex, high-value public sector tenders at the same time. You're experienced in capture and pursuit management , with a track record of shaping opportunities before release, uncovering customer drivers and turning insight into clear pursuit and win strategies. You're an excellent writer and reviewer , able to turn complex requirements, evidence and customer needs into compelling responses, with a strong focus on exceeding evaluation criteria and delivering high-quality, compliant submissions. You're confident leading through influence , coordinating large cross-functional teams to tight deadlines, managing competing priorities and risks, and having difficult conversations when needed. You're a detail-oriented completer-finisher with a strong working knowledge of public procurement, including the Procurement Act 2023, the Social Value Model and frameworks. You understand clinical systems and workflows and can clearly explain how technology fits into them. For this role, that includes how Accurx works with GP clinical systems such as EMIS and SystmOne, and how it fits into practice and PCN workflows, including integration and hosting. Ideally, you've bid into NHS primary care, ICBs or CSUs and understand general practice, PCN operations and how digital primary care is commissioned. Experience leading bids for SaaS or digital transformation solutions would also be a strong advantage. What's in it for me? ABOUT QUINCE Quince is a destination for builders, creators, innovators, and operators who want to come together and challenge the status quo. Our mission is simple: make really high quality essentials for really low prices, fairly and sustainably. We deliver on that mission through a unique manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) model eliminating the layers of traditional retail that add cost and result in consumers paying more than they need to. We find, build relationships with, and work directly with the manufacturing partners behind some of the world's finest products. From there, our teams design smart, efficient operational processes and build and deploy proprietary technology, AI, and analytics to help us scale fast. What began with a small assortment of elevated basics has quickly grown into a cross-category brand spanning apparel, accessories, home goods, and more. Today, tens of millions of people across a growing number of countries come – and return – to Quince because they trust us to deliver. OUR CULTURE Quince is a culture built for builders by builders. Our way of working starts with a blank sheet of paper. We question conventional thinking, use technology and data to uncover new opportunities, and move quickly to turn ideas into reality. We aren't interested in replicating how others do retail. We're building a better way – at a speed and scale unlike anything that's been done before. We dream big and chase the hard problems others shy away from. Rejecting long-held assumptions is part of our company's DNA. Where conventional wisdom says you have to choose – soft or durable, speed or rigor, quality or price – we ask why that trade-off has to exist in the first place. Our pace is fast and the bar is high because our customers expect a lot from us and we refuse to let them down. We believe the best results come from challenging ourselves, learning from one another, and building on each other's strengths. Here, responsibility is not determined by role, tenure, or seniority. Every team member - no matter their level - has the opportunity to drive our business and shape our trajectory. If you're someone who likes to imagine new possibilities and build better systems rather than plug-in to outdated ones, Quince is the place for you. THE ROLE Senior Manager of Global Communications The Senior Manager of Global Communications will lead Quince's media strategy and external storytelling as the company enters its next stage of growth. This is a rare build: the sole owner of the communications function, reporting directly to the Head of Brand Strategy & Narrative, with the mandate to shape how the market understands Quince's manufacturer-to-consumer model. The ideal candidate is a proven media operator with 8+ years of experience and genuine, current UK journalist relationships — someone who can translate complex operational ideas into stories that build trust over time, not just generate coverage. Responsibilities Own and execute Quince's UK communications strategy, building brand reputation and relevance as we scale in the market Own UK media relationships, building deep ties across national, consumer, fashion, lifestyle, retail, business, and tech press Drive a steady stream of proactive earned media, with culturally relevant UK story angles rather than imported US messaging Lead communications around key UK moments (launches, campaigns, milestones), spotting opportunities beyond the announcement itself Stay plugged into UK cultural and media conversations, and act as an early-warning system for reputation risk Write and edit at an exceptional standard across pitches, press materials, and executive briefings, and prepare spokespeople for UK media Partner closely with Brand, Social, Growth, Merchandising, and Creative to build communications into launches from the start, and manage UK agency partners Build rigorous earned-media measurement (coverage quality, sentiment, share of voice) and the systems/playbooks to scale UK comms over time Qualifications Required: 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations or media strategy, with significant experience working in the UK market Deep, current relationships across UK national, consumer, fashion, lifestyle, retail and/or business media, and a strong understanding of how the UK media ecosystem actually works Experience building the reputation of a consumer brand, retailer or high-growth company; experience supporting a new market entrant or rapidly scaling brand is a plus Excellent editorial judgment and a strong instinct for what constitutes a genuinely compelling UK story Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to move comfortably between consumer storytelling, corporate narratives and sensitive reputation communications Strong understanding of UK culture, consumer sentiment and the nuances that distinguish UK communications from US communications Experience managing PR agencies and working effectively across global and cross-functional teams Ability to translate complex business models and company narratives into simple, credible and culturally relevant stories Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-moving, high-growth environment Highly proactive, culturally curious and naturally plugged into what people are reading, talking about and paying attention to Pay Range: (GBP) £81,000 - £100,000 All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles. Pay Range £81,000 — £100,000 GBP WHY QUINCE? Joining Quince means being part of a mission-driven team reshaping retail. You will work alongside talented colleagues, tackle meaningful challenges, and contribute to building a more sustainable, accessible future for customers and partners alike. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & HIRING INTEGRITY Quince provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applications for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws. Quince is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities. If you need a reasonable accommodation to complete your application or to perform the essential functions of a role at Quince, please let us know by completing this accommodation form . We review all requests individually and will work with you to determine appropriate accommodations on a case-by-case basis. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Quince will conduct background checks in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Security Advisory: Beware of Frauds At Quince, we're dedicated to recruiting top talent who share our drive for innovation. To safeguard candidates, Quince emphasizes legitimate recruitment practices. Initial communication is primarily via official Quince email addresses and LinkedIn; beware of deviations. Personal data and sensitive information will not be solicited during the application phase. Interviews are conducted via phone, in person, or through the approved platforms Google Meets or Zoom—never via messaging apps or other calling services. Offers are merit-based, communicated verbally, and followed up in writing.
