Program Manager, Accounting Operations & Strategy
AnthropicSan Francisco, United States (Hybrid)5 days ago
ContractHybridMid$230,000 - $230,000 / Year
concreteaccountingsalesrecruitingonboardinglogistics+3

About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is seeking a Program Manager to join our Accounting organization and help it run as one global team. Accounting is scaling at an unprecedented pace across multiple hubs, and the goals, rhythms, programs, and people that make up the team need to stay connected as we grow. In this role, you will own that connective tissue: the annual goal-setting cycle, the leadership team's operating cadence, org-wide events and internal communications, and the programs that make a distributed team feel like one.  You will partner with Accounting leadership, the People team, Finance Systems, and hub leads. This is a hands-on role with a lot of range: part chief of staff, part program manager, part culture builder. Responsibilities  Goals and operating rhythm Run the annual goal setting process and the reporting that tracks progress against those goals. Look at how the org actually operates (meetings, handoffs, planning cycles, decision making) and fix what isn't working. Maintain one org-wide planning calendar that shows close, audit, and team milestones alongside company-wide and team events, so leaders can see the pressure points and plan around them. Build and maintain a simple set of org health metrics (attrition, engagement scores, hiring pipeline, training completion, survey trends) and report on them regularly. Leadership and org-wide events Run our extended leadership team (XLT) program, including agendas, meetings, follow-ups, and action items. Own planning and agenda for the annual offsite and run the quarterly team all-hands. Write the internal updates: a regular team newsletter, plus talking points when leadership needs to explain a change to the whole org. People and culture Coordinate projects across the org that support employee experience programs. Partner with the People team to roll out training and development programs for Accounting. Review team survey results, identify the themes, and build action plans to address the feedback. Follow through and report back to the team. Run hub programs, including visit and rotation programs, local hub events, and meeting norms that work across time zones, so we feel like one global team. Run recognition and team rituals: wins, milestones, anniversaries, and peer recognition, especially across hubs. Team operations Support contractor management, including onboarding, tracking, and coordination with the right partners. Keep the team's knowledge base current: wiki, org charts, role descriptions, and key process docs. Keep the team calendar accurate so everyone knows what's coming. Preferred qualifications 7+ years in program management, operations, chief of staff, or strategy roles. Experience inside a finance or accounting org is a plus, but not required. A track record of running recurring programs end to end and getting people to follow through without formal authority. Good judgment about what matters and what doesn't. You can handle a lot of moving pieces without dropping them. Clear, direct writing. You can brief a senior leader in a few sentences. Comfort with confidential information and sensitive people topics. Experience supporting distributed or global teams. You're organized, but you also know when a process is getting in the way and should be simplified. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $230,000 — $300,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship:  We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit  anthropic.com/careers  directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Product Manager, Coordinate
AsanaWarsaw (Hybrid)5 days ago
ContractHybridMid
data sciencedentalmental healthschedulingtaxinsurance+4

The Product Management team drives Asana's product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. We're helping to define the Work Management category and inventing new ways for teams to work more efficiently together and see the larger purpose behind their work. Our team works directly with Engineering, Design, Experience Research, and Data Science, as well as with Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship great products.   We're looking for a Staff Product Manager to join the team that keeps complex, interdependent work accurate as it changes. This team owns tasks and how they connect and stay in sync — including subtasks, dependencies, milestones, and the approvals that keep changes safe — across the views people plan from like the Task Pane, Board, Timeline, Gantt, and Project Overview. These mechanics are what let enterprise teams model their most complex initiatives directly in Asana, so decisions here carry real revenue and competitive weight. With Asana's recent launch of Agentic Work Management, where AI Teammates work alongside people on the same plan, this PM will help pioneer this new category — owning the strategy for keeping scheduling and task relationships trustworthy as agents, not just people, propose and make changes.   This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.   What you'll achieve: Set the strategy for how tasks connect and stay in sync as plans change — dependencies, durations, milestones, and the approval loops that keep updates safe — aligned with broader group goals Drive end-to-end delivery of multi-month initiatives — from problem definition through launch — often defining work that lands on other teams' roadmaps and requires coordinating delivery across multiple teams, rather than owning a single piece of a larger initiative Scope tight MVPs and prioritize rigorously, making sound decisions even without perfect information Facilitate complex, multi-team alignment — our surfaces touch nearly every other team at Asana, so building consensus and driving cross-functional coordination is central to the role Connect regularly with customers, using those insights to guide strategy, especially around how large and enterprise teams configure and scale their use of Asana Mentor other product managers and help raise the bar on product craft across the team   About you: 6-8 years of Product Management experience, with a track record of driving — not just contributing to — end-user features rather than purely internal or platform-only work Experience shipping multi-month, end-to-end initiatives that require close coordination across multiple teams, including work that puts deliverables on other teams' roadmaps, where you owned the full arc from definition to delivery You understand how complex, interdependent work actually gets planned and scheduled in large organizations — shifting timelines, messy dependency chains, and approval processes that vary team to team — and you've shaped product decisions around that complexity, not just built controls to manage it Systems thinker: you're comfortable reasoning about how a change in one part of a platform affects adjacent and dependent surfaces, while still caring deeply about the individual, in-the-moment experience for the person using it Strong cross-functional communicator: you can align multiple teams around a hard decision and keep execution moving even when consensus is hard to reach A growth mindset: you seek out feedback, reflect, and actively mentor others Background at a project or work management company or a mid-to-large enterprise SaaS company with complex scheduling or workflow needs is a plus, but not required At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission.
