About Us At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world's largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine's Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World's Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. At Cloudflare, we're not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we're looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you're the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you'll fit right in. Available Locations:  San Francisco, CA About the team The Finance team is a critical pillar of Cloudflare's success, translating strategy into financial outcomes, and serving as a trusted voice to the public markets, the Board, and our shareholders. The Investor Relations team is a small, high-impact group that tells Cloudflare's financial story to the public markets — translating one of the most differentiated technology platforms in the world into a clear, credible, and compelling investment narrative. About the role Cloudflare is looking for an Associate, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join our lean IR team and help power how we engage with Wall Street. You will be a core contributor to the quarterly earnings cycle, our consensus and financial modeling work, investor events including our annual Investor Day, and strategic finance projects for senior leadership. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role. The work you produce will go directly to the CFO, CEO, Board, and public markets, so we hold ourselves to an exceptionally high bar on accuracy. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Communications, FP&A, and the executive team, and you will get broad exposure to the business and to the public markets. We are AI-native in how we work, and we expect you to treat modern tooling as a force multiplier on insight, productivity, and rigor. What you'll do Quarterly earnings and consensus Support the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, helping draft and assemble the press release, supplemental financial information, prepared remarks, Q&A prep, and investor deck. Build and maintain our consensus model: collect and analyze sell-side estimates and models, and benchmark them against internal forecasts. Support the guidance process, including share count forecasting, sensitivity analyses, and supporting materials for leadership. Drive tie-out and validation work so that every figure, claim, and disclosure across the press release, supplemental, scripts, Q&A, deck, 10-Q, and 10-K is accurate and consistent. Help prepare for earnings Q&A: anticipated questions, peer transcript research, key stats and proof points, and live-call backup material. Coordinate the post-earnings analyst callback program, including scheduling, notes, and feedback summaries. Investor engagement Support day-to-day engagement with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, including responding to inbound requests and maintaining our investor database. Help plan and run investor events, including sell-side conferences, one-on-ones, on-site investor visits, and non-deal roadshows. Prepare briefing materials for the CEO, CFO, and other executives ahead of investor meetings, including investor profiles, talking points, and Q&A prep. Maintain core IR collateral, including the investor presentation, fact sheets, and IR website content. Analyze shareholder ownership and support investor targeting. Investor Day and strategic finance projects Support the planning and execution of our annual Investor Day, including the invite tracker and registration, content drafting, validation, and day-of logistics. Contribute to strategic finance projects such as peer benchmarking, competitive analyses, long-range financial modeling, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership. Analytics and tooling Monitor and synthesize analyst coverage, peer results, investor sentiment, and industry trends into clear, actionable summaries for leadership. Build and maintain the models, dashboards, trackers, and validation tools that let a small team operate at scale. Use AI-native tooling and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and insight across the IR function. Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing; exposure to public technology companies is a plus. Strong financial modeling skills , including building and maintaining operating models, consensus models, and share count and dilution forecasts. Solid understanding of financial statements , public-company reporting, and valuation; familiarity with SaaS or consumption-based revenue models is a plus. Strong written communication skills , with the ability to draft clear, concise materials for senior executives and to turn complex financial or technical concepts into simple narratives. Exceptional attention to detail , and pride in getting every number right. An ownership mindset : you are organized, take initiative, and can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, especially during earnings season. High-trust collaboration , with the ability to work effectively with teams across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Communications. AI-native curiosity and skill : fluency with modern AI tooling and a track record of using it to amplify your impact. Sound judgment with confidential information , including awareness of materiality, fair disclosure, and Reg FD (or a strong willingness to learn). Genuine interest in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or AI, and in the public markets.   Compensation Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $117,000 - $161,000 Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan. Backend Engineer (m/f/d)
Full TimeOn-siteMid€60,000 - €70,000 / Year
pythontypescriptreactnext.jsfastapigoogle cloud+10

Python, FastAPI and PostgreSQL in a system we built entirely ourselves. Full stack welcome. Berlin or nearby, hybrid. Full-time, permanent. Start: as soon as possible What this is about Careship helps families find reliable support in everyday life: all across Germany, through self-employed caregivers and our own employed caregivers. Behind both stands a platform we built entirely ourselves, live since August 2026: a Python backend, an internal staff portal, an app for customers and an app for caregivers. The system covers everything from the first inquiry to payroll: matching, scheduling, care budgets, billing with care insurance funds, payment processing and digital contracts, plus email, chat, WhatsApp and phone calls in one inbox. It is live, it runs the operations of two companies, and it grows every week. This is why we are looking for the second person in our permanent engineering duo. Your role You work as one of two engineers on our system, with a focus on the Python backend: data model, business logic, APIs and the integrations our operations run on. If full stack is your thing, the rest is open to you: the staff portal in Next.js and our two apps in React Native. You share responsibility and cover for each other, in everyday work and during vacations. You build features from the data model through the business logic to the finished API endpoint, and all the way to the screen if you want. You work on core topics like the budget engine, billing, the payroll pipeline and matching. Logic where diligence really counts. You maintain code in production that real people use every day: our operations team, caregivers, and customers with their families. You work directly with product and the tech lead, no layers in between. Requirements arrive as fully worked-out specifications from our knowledge base, not as two-line tickets. You get freedom and real responsibility: the system is brand new, much of it is taking shape right now, and you help decide where it goes. The roadmap includes shift planning, analytics, a marketing module and an ambassador platform. Staff Software Engineer

About Swap Swap is the infrastructure behind modern agentic commerce. The only AI-native platform connecting backend operations with a forward-thinking storefront experience. Built for brands that want to sell anything - anywhere, Swap centralises global operations, powers intelligent workflows, and unlocks margin-protecting decisions with real-time data and capability. Our products span cross-border, tax, returns, demand planning, and our next-generation agentic storefront, giving merchants full transparency and the ability to act with confidence. At Swap, we're building a culture that values clarity, creativity, and shared ownership as we redefine how global commerce works. About the role Our agentic storefront is an AI shopping experience that helps shoppers discover, decide, and buy through natural conversation. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be a technical leader on the team building it. You'll set direction for several engineering teams, take on the hardest cross-cutting problems, and stay hands-on in the code that matters most. You'll work closely with Product, Design, Data, and engineering leadership to turn ambitious goals into practical plans, and you'll help the engineers around you do their best work. Responsibilities Lead large initiatives that run for several quarters and involve multiple teams, from first scoping through to production. Write exemplar code in critical paths, setting the implementation bar for the wider group. Review important designs from other teams, helping engineers balance quality, speed, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Define and uphold operational standards for the group: monitoring, availability, scalability, security, release safety, and cost awareness. Help lead serious incidents and follow through on the right fixes. Lead tool evaluations and architecture migrations, making build-vs-buy trade-offs explicit. Use AI well beyond the basics, and push back on AI-generated complexity so code health holds as we speed up. Own the business result of your work. Define success metrics, monitor after launch, and challenge constructively when something won't move the needle for merchants. Mentor Senior Engineers and below, and lead or join senior-level interviews. Write and improve the documentation others rely on, such as architecture direction, decision records, and runbooks. Requirements Significant experience (typically 8+ years) building and shipping production software, with a record of leading complex initiatives that cross team lines. Deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, including architecting REST and/or GraphQL APIs and distributed systems. Comfort outside your home language and stack. We expect Staff engineers to be T-shaped. Strong relational database, data modelling, and SQL skills, plus familiarity with NoSQL. Experience designing for reliability and scale in the cloud, with solid CI/CD, observability, and incident-response practices. Hands-on experience with LLMs or agentic systems, or a track record of picking up new technology fast and applying it sensibly. Daily use of AI coding tools, with a sense for when to trust them and when not to. Experience in eCommerce systems and platforms is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication. You can explain trade-offs in business terms to any audience. A team player with a bias for ownership: you bring a solution along with the problem, and work isn't done until it's live and stable. What we offer 💰 Competitive base salary: Pay that reflects your experience and the impact you'll have, reviewed regularly as you grow with us. 📈 Stock options: Own a piece of what we're building. As a high-growth scale-up, you'll share in the upside as the company grows. 🏖️ Generous PTO: Competitive annual leave, with public holidays on top, plus your birthday off so you can celebrate properly. 🏥 Private healthcare: Comprehensive private medical cover, so you can get the care you need quickly. 🏦 Pension contributions: Company contributions to help you build long-term financial security. 🧘 Wellness benefits: Support for your physical health and wellbeing, so you can look after yourself in the way that works for you. 💚 Mental health support: Access to mental health resources and support, because looking after your mind matters as much as your body. 👶 Enhanced maternity and paternity leave: Extra support when you're growing your family, so you can focus on what matters most. 🏡 Flexible working: Choose how and where you do your best work, with the trust and autonomy to manage your own time. ✈️ Work abroad for 4 weeks a year: Take your laptop somewhere new for up to four weeks each year, whether that's family, travel, or a change of scenery. 🎉 Quarterly team offsite budget: A dedicated budget each quarter for your team to get together, connect, and have fun. 🍻 Thursday happy hour: Wind down the week with your colleagues at our Thursday happy hour, held across all of our locations. 🥞 Breakfast Mondays: Start the week with a good meal and good company. Diversity & Equal Opportunities: We embrace diversity and equality in a serious way. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be. Creating a culture of equality isn't just the right thing to do; it's also the smart thing. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
