At Sanity.io , we're building the future of AI-powered Content Operations. Our AI Content Operating System gives teams the freedom to model, create, and automate content the way their business works, accelerating digital development and supercharging content operations efficiency. Companies like SKIMS , Figma , Riot Games , Anthropic , COMPLEX , Nordstrom , and Morningbrew are using Sanity to power and automate their content operations. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Billing & Integrations, the team behind usage metering, plans and subscriptions, spend controls, invoices, and selected partner integrations. Your team makes it possible for us to launch billable capabilities and to run routine billing through reliable APIs and tools. You'll also keep our integrations dependable and current. Leading a team at Sanity means owning strategy, roadmap, and execution alongside your product partner. This is a player-coach role: most of your time will go to people, priorities, and delivery, while you stay close enough to the code to review designs, unblock difficult problems, and guide technical decisions. What you will do: Lead delivery of a reliable monetization platform Own the engineering roadmap with Product, balancing new billing capabilities, customer-facing improvements, reliability, and reducing manual work. Guide the usage-to-invoice architecture: metering correctness, subscription lifecycle, reconciliation, and dependable budget and limit enforcement. Turn recurring plan, coupon, credit, and invoicing requests into documented APIs and self-service tools that other teams can operate independently. Coach and develop the engineering team Develop engineers through clear feedback, meaningful ownership, career support, and hiring as the team's needs evolve. Stay technically engaged through architecture reviews, pairing, and code where it helps the team most; strengthen testing, observability, incident response, and safe migration practices. Partner across Sanity Work with Product, Growth, Finance, RevOps, Support, and engineering teams to make pricing and billing requirements clear, surface trade-offs early, and protect customer trust. Keep existing partner integrations reliable and aligned with upstream API changes. Measure impact through billing accuracy, self-service adoption, commercial lead time, and operational health. About you: Based in Oslo, Norway, or London, UK. You communicate technical designs and trade-offs clearly, in writing and in conversation, with both engineers and non-technical partners. You have proven experience managing engineers and delivering software at a product or SaaS company, backed by a substantial hands-on engineering background. You've led backend or platform systems where correctness and reliability matter. Experience in billing, payments, usage metering, subscriptions, or entitlements is especially useful. You turn ambiguity into clear priorities, deliver incrementally, and can show how your team's work improved customer or business outcomes. You care about growing people and building a team with shared ownership. You work effectively across functions and timezones, and replace recurring manual work with reusable capabilities. You can reason deeply about event-driven systems, API contracts, idempotency, retries, consistency, reconciliation, and safe changes to critical state. Familiarity with Orb, Stripe, or Temporal is a plus; transferable engineering judgment matters more than a particular vendor. Not sure you're exactly what we're looking for in this role? Apply anyway! What we can offer: A highly-skilled, inspiring, and supportive team Positive, flexible, and trust-based work environment that encourages long-term professional and personal growth A global, multi-culturally diverse group of colleagues and customers Comprehensive health plans and perks A healthy work-life balance that accommodates individual and family needs Competitive salary and stock options program Who we are: Sanity.io is a modern, flexible content operating system that replaces rigid legacy content management systems. Build the Market Leader in Satellite Analytics with us at LiveEO We are looking for a Senior Product Manager ( ISR ) (f/m/x) to own the product and delivery side of LiveEO's defence and intelligence business. Sektion 4 builds AI-based ISR capabilities for German and allied defence and intelligence customers: object and change detection in very high resolution satellite imagery, 3D terrain products derived from stereo imagery, and the analytics that turn imagery into decisions. You will run our customer-facing defence products end to end from a product management perspective including analytical products as well as end user applications. You will also build the roadmap that connects different customer timelines, our concept of operations and the actual maturity of our technical components into one plan that engineering and sales both work from. This role exists because our LiveEO engineers build world class AI models and your work will help to bring them into operations and roll them out to many more end users. We need someone who can say how an analyst does the job, write requirements a military user would recognise, and hold the line on what we ship. LiveEO is a dynamic team that thrives on big challenges and fast learning cycles. We move quickly, stay curious, and genuinely enjoy building together. We are on a mission to break the "curse of Earth Observation": turning incredible satellite data into reliable, actionable decisions that people can trust and use in real operations on scale. You will be part of Sektion 4, LiveEO's government-solutions product team. Sektion 4 owns its roadmap and delivers funded R&D projects and defence engagements end-to-end, from research through to production, and sets its own technical direction. You will work day to day with the team's ML engineergs, full-stack engineers and geospatial data egineers, and across LiveEO with sales, pre-sales and the teams building the Twinspector satellite programme. Externally you are in front of military and agency users, partners and integrators, in workshops, requirement sessions and user tests. Tech stack & tools: Linear (backlog, sprints) Confluence Google Workspace LiveEO's own ISR and analytics applications Figma QGIS and comparable viewers STAC -based imagery catalogs Data: very high resolution optical imagery synthetic aperture radar 3D surface models cloud and secure on-premise / air-gapped deployments agentic tools for a variety of work. Your challenge As Product Manager (f/m/x), you own what we build for defence and intelligence customers, and you are accountable for it reaching them. Own the ISR product: take our imagery intelligence application from working demonstrator to deployable product. Define the release scope, the deployment and support model for secure on-premise environments, and drive the first installation at a real user. Run the backlog: work with the engineering team in two-week sprints. Translate operational needs into written requirements and user stories, prioritise ruthlessly, cut scope when it is the right call, and keep the team pointed at what matters. Deliver defence projects end to end: own scope, milestones, deliverables and stakeholder communication for our customer-facing defence engagements, and take on new projects as the pipeline converts. Build and maintain the roadmap: reconcile project timelines, our concept of operations and component readiness into one roadmap that is used to set priorities, not to describe them afterwards. Be the ISR authority in the team: bring operational depth on the intelligence cycle, collection and tasking, and imagery exploitation. Be the person engineering asks how an analyst would really use this, and the person sales asks what we can credibly claim. Work with users and customers: run workshops and user sessions, gather and structure feedback, demonstrate the product, and support bids and proposals with operational substance. Your profile Professional ISR , GEOINT or IMINT background: Bundeswehr, the intelligence community, defence procurement, or an ISR role in industry. Real operational fluency in the intelligence cycle, collection and tasking, and how imagery products are produced and consumed at a staff. Proven ability to translate operational needs into written requirements that engineers can build from. Track record of driving work to a deadline across dependencies you did not control. German at native or fully fluent level, and professional English. German or European citizenship and eligibility to obtain a German security clearance (Sicherheitsüberprüfung). Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, hybrid with at least two days per week in the office, and to travel within Germany to customers and users. You take ownership and proactively push work forward. You communicate clearly and collaborate smoothly within and across teams. Pragmatic mindset: you balance operational ambition with what can actually be shipped. You enjoy working with complexity and turning ambiguity into structure. Product management or product ownership experience: backlog, sprint cadence, release scoping is a plus. Project management experience in defence or publicly funded programmes (national, EU, NATO) is a plus. Experience writing CONOPS , operational requirements or capability documents is a plus. Familiarity with satellite imagery, remote sensing, or AI and machine learning products is a plus. Experience delivering software into secure on-premise or air-gapped environments is a plus. An existing valid German security clearance (SÜ2 / SÜ3) is a plus. Working knowledge of NATO standards and interoperability for imagery and geospatial data is a plus. Your Benefits The opportunity to create a product that can improve business processes and lives across the globe. Flexible working hours and hybrid work model - we trust our employees to get their work done while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We empower employees to drive their own career development, take initiative and have the freedom to be creative and bold. What we are building ecoplanet gives industrial companies the kind of energy management a corporate energy department would provide, without needing one of their own. We work with German Mittelstand manufacturers in plastics, metals, and food production, helping them see where their energy goes, catch problems when they happen, and act on what they find. Our platform covers meter data, consumption monitoring, efficiency analysis, compliance, and energy procurement. We're a Series A company backed by EQT Ventures and HV Capital. Why This Role Matters You'll be the designer on our Energy Insights team. The team owns our core entry product: 24/7 consumption monitoring, alerting, and the insights that turn load profiles into decisions a customer can act on. Your work covers the whole customer journey, from onboarding and labelling a customer's meters, to surfacing findings they can trust, to making sure they come back regularly. You'll be the only designer on this team, working directly with a PM, engineers, and our customer success team. Much of the work is improving and reshaping features we already have, so you'll be making existing things clearer and more useful as well as designing new ones. What You'll Achieve Own design for the Energy Insights product end to end: research, flows, interaction design, and polished UI Redesign existing features, such as the customer cockpit, monitoring views, alerts, and findings, so energy managers can go from "something's off" to "here's what to do" quickly Design data-dense interfaces (load profiles, consumption breakdowns, anomalies) that stay readable for people who aren't data analysts Shape onboarding and labelling flows that help customers describe their meters and production so our insights improve over time Design internal tools for our customer success and onboarding teams. They're users too. Talk to customers regularly and turn what you learn into design decisions Help build and maintain a pragmatic design system that fits how we ship What Sets You Up for Success Must have: B2B product design experience — you've designed complex software for professional users, not only consumer apps A portfolio showing data-heavy, workflow-driven product work, and the reasoning behind it Comfort working as a solo designer: you set your own process, make calls without waiting for sign-off, and know when "good enough to learn from" beats "perfect" An early-stage mindset — priorities shift as we learn, and you treat ambiguity as something to work through, not around Strong interaction and visual design skills; fluent in Figma Willingness to talk to users directly and bring evidence into design discussions Clear communication in English; German at a professional working level, since most of our customers operate in German and you'll need to understand their feedback directly Nice to have: Experience with industrial, manufacturing, energy, IoT, or other operational software Familiarity with time-series data, dashboards, or monitoring and alerting products Some front-end understanding — enough to work closely with engineers on feasibility and detail How You'll Grow As the sole designer on a core product team, you'll set the design practice for Energy Insights largely on your own terms — there's no senior designer above you dictating process. You'll work closely enough with customers and engineers to see the direct consequences of your decisions, and as the product and team grow, you'll have the option to shape whether and how a design function scales beyond you. What You Get Real ownership: your designs define how industrial customers experience the product Direct impact on a product that helps companies cut energy waste and costs A small, senior-leaning team with short decision paths and close access to customers Top-of-market team, flat hierarchy — work alongside people who push you to get better Central office, easy commute — free lunch every Tuesday and Thursday Wellpass membership Regular 1:1s and retros focused on your growth Hybrid setup based in our Munich office, with regular in-person days alongside the team The Application Send us your CV and portfolio — we don't do long forms or generic cover letters. We're building a new global Berlitz, and this is your opportunity to help shape it. Nearly 150 years of expertise, meeting the ambition and technology to power a new era of learning. If you are the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn't afraid of a blank page, and is excited to help shape the future of a global company undergoing a significant transformation, you might belong at Berlitz! Berlitz has taught languages for almost 150 years, mostly in classrooms and with live teachers. Now we're putting that method in people's pockets. The Berlitz app connects structured lessons, AI speaking and writing practice, 1:1 sessions with human tutors, and visible progress into one learning loop on iOS and Android. We're launching it market by market, and growing it fast. Our learners are professionals who need a language for their career. Some pay for themselves. Others get Berlitz through their employer, who wants proof the investment is working. Both need an app they open every day because it helps them, and keep paying for because they can see themselves getting better. As Senior Product Designer, you'll own major parts of the learner app, from the first minute after download to the moment someone books their tenth tutor session. You'll report to the Staff Product Designer for this area of the business, and partner as an equal with Product Management, Engineering, and our AI and learning experience teams. What you'll be doing Design core learner journeys end to end across iOS and Android: onboarding and placement, daily learning, AI practice, tutor booking, progress, and the path from free to paid. Design for habit and momentum. Find out why learners come back, why they drop off, and what makes them feel progress, then build that into the product. Shape how learners speak and write with AI: conversational interfaces, real-time feedback on pronunciation and writing, and the moments where an AI tutor should hand over to a human one. Work AI-native every day. Use AI design tools and agentic workflows to explore, prototype, and produce at speed, while staying the human in the loop who decides what's good enough to ship. Pressure-test every PRD before it becomes a design. Question the assumptions, find the missing edge cases, and sharpen the problem with your PM, instead of passing a brief straight to a tool and accepting what comes back. Hold AI output to a high bar. Run rigorous evals on what AI produces for craft, accessibility, localisation, and brand fit. When you see the same problem twice, fix it at the source by updating the design system. Run research yourself. Talk to learners often, run usability tests, read the analytics, and set up experiments that tell us whether a change worked. Own the conversion and retention moments (trials, paywalls, upgrade prompts, reminders) so they earn revenue without costing the learner's trust. Design for corporate learners too: employer-paid access, entitlements, and the progress their company expects to see, without making the app feel corporate. Build with Berlitz's shared design system and help it evolve, especially the mobile patterns, motion, and micro-interactions a daily-use app needs. Keep it structured so that both people and AI tools use it correctly. Design for many markets and languages from the start, including text expansion, right-to-left scripts, and accessibility. Work closely with engineers to ship fast, then sweat the details once it's live. What we're looking for Several years designing and shipping consumer mobile apps that people use every day, with a portfolio that shows native iOS and Android craft. Evidence that your design work moved retention, engagement, or conversion, and a clear view of how you measured it. Strong interaction and visual design. You care how a screen feels in the hand: motion, feedback, and pacing, as well as how it looks. Hands-on research and experimentation. You've run your own interviews and usability tests, and used A/B tests and analytics to make calls. An understanding of B2B: how a product changes when the person paying isn't the person using it, and how to serve both. Real experience with AI design tools (currently we mostly use Claude Design) and agentic workflows. You use tools like Claude Design, Figma Make, or Paper, and AI coding tools like Claude Code daily, and you can show examples where you rejected or reworked an AI output and explain why. Experience working within a design system and extending it. Clear communication, and the confidence to push back on PMs, engineers, and senior stakeholders with reasoning they can act on. Fluent English. Another language is a plus. We are a language company, after all. Based in Germany, Switzerland, or Hungary. Nice to have A background in a learning, language, or content app, or another product built on a daily habit (reading, audio, fitness). Experience with freemium and subscription models, including app store payment flows. Experience designing for markets in Latin America or South Asia. Experience taking work from AI design tools to code to the repo. That means pushing front-end changes yourself through pull requests and checking your work in iOS and Android simulators. What we offer A product that changes careers. Our learners need the language for a job, a promotion, or a move abroad. Your work helps them get there. Real ownership, early. Large parts of the learner app are yours to shape while the product is still young. A combination few learning apps have. A recognized learning method, a global network of human teachers, and an AI team building practice and tutoring on top. One global Berlitz. Join a company actively rebuilding itself, with new products, new systems, and new ways of working across every team. Remote-first flexibility , based in Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, or Netherlands. At Berlitz, connecting people across languages and cultures is at the heart of what we do. Our global workplace reflects the diverse world we serve, bringing together different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We create an inclusive environment where everyone has an equal opportunity to belong, contribute and grow. Ready to shape what's next? Join us and help build the future with us.
