About The Team The Radar ML team builds the fraud detection models that protect Stripe's $1.9 trillion payment network from fraud. The team owns 10 real-time deep learning models that must constantly evolve to stay ahead of fraudsters. Each ML improvement translates directly into dollar impact for Stripe and its users. The team's models also power the Radar product suite that tens of thousands of businesses use to screen payments and manage fraud. Radar is growing fast, and the team is actively building new products to protect against AI token theft, free trial abuse, and scripted attacks. What you'll do In this role, you will own ML work across the full lifecycle: researching new fraud patterns, building and deploying models, and sharing results directly with top Stripe customers. You will have opportunities to optimize Stripe's most intensive ML models, and opportunities to ship 0-to-1 products from scratch. Responsibilities Build, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models that detect fraud across Stripe's global payments network Research emerging fraud patterns like token theft and develop ML solutions to address them Apply advances in deep learning to improve model quality and detection rates at scale Co-build new fraud and abuse products directly with top users Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. In-office expectations Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. Working remotely at Stripe A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live. Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $270,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. We look forward to hearing from you. At Stripe, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. Gynaecological care the way it's supposed to be: Personalised, easy to reach, effective. Women are diagnosed on average four years later than men, across 770 different diseases. They spend 25 % more of their lives in poor health. That is the gender health gap, and science says two things keep it open: too little access to specialists in women's health, and far too little research on women in the first place. femote works on both. Step One: we turn ordinary statutory gynaecological practices into digital care champions. So that the specialists we do have can care for more patients properly, within the resources they are given. Step Two: we turn generalist doctors into specialists by equipping them with clinical diagnostic and decision support built specifically for women's health, trained on data collected by Step One. Where we stand Supported by leaders of the German gynaecological medical associations Backed by industry angels from pharmaceuticals and medical publishing Innovation grant secured from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Part of the Lausitz Model Region, giving us deep integration into the statutory system and reach to women regardless of their spending power MVP in pilot phase with real practices (Stack: Flutter, Supabase, Postgres. Up for debate once you join) Pre-seed stage, with funding in place to bring you on Tasks We are looking for our first engineer to build femote's product and shape the technical foundation it grows on. As our founding engineer, you will build our first SaaS product, a patient app and a professional interface, under European General Product Safety Regulation guidelines in the first year while we prepare for medical device certification in year two. Every case we capture is structured so it can carry clinical evidence later, which is what makes algorithmic and decision-support features possible at all. You will not build those alone, but you need to direct that work, and the architecture that makes it possible has to be laid now. Requirements We value smartness, humility and the ability to learn and adapt quickly over hard skills on paper. Please apply, even if you don't tick all the boxes. What you have done Experience running a SaaS product from building to shipping to operating in production Strong data modelling and processing , including consent, provenance and pseudonymisation, so captured data can lawfully support clinical evidence and model training later Bonus: experience building algorithmic or AI-enabled features Bonus: experience building in a regulated field (MDR, AI Act, or similar) Bonus: German speaking, though not required How you work You ship fast without lowering the bar. Short iteration cycles and pragmatic solutions, with engineering practices solid enough to stand up to a notified body. You set the pattern, not just the code. Everything the first engineer does becomes the default for everyone after. You write it down, you teach it, and you build with that in mind. You do not think in taboos. You will be reading about discharge, bleeding and pelvic pain at nine in the morning and building interfaces for it. If that is awkward for you, this is not your role. You want to understand why we are doing this in gynaecology. You do not have to arrive as an expert in women's health, and we are happy to offer a steep learning curve. The curiosity has to be yours. You are reflective. You take feedback without putting armour on, and you say when you are stuck rather than when it is already too late. Benefits Meaningful equity as hurdle shares or an instrument with equivalent tax treatment. Genuine ownership of the technical direction Full-time, with flexible working hours Room to grow into the CTO role: owning medical device certification, security and data handling, the engineering team you hire around you, and representing femote's technical direction to regulators, partners and investors. Our hiring process Conversation with Frederike (45 min): what we are building, what you have built, and whether this is the right fit for both sides. Meet the team: Tabea and Insa, the people you will work with every day. Technical deep dive with one of our technical advisors: architecture, data modelling and how you would approach our product. Offer. From application to offer takes no longer than six weeks. Who you will work with We are a small team, and between us we have treated patients, built data infrastructure and products for enterprise clients, and studied how health systems fail people at scale. Our team is technical enough that you don't have to translate engineering reality into business language. Frederike Kugland, Founder: Quit her job for yeast infections. Built a company around it. WHU graduate turned developer. Ex-Managing Partner at tech consultancy Pandata. Learned to code because she hated Excel, now runs product, fundraising and sales. Technical enough to be your sparring partner but too busy to interfere with your work. Doesn't shy away from founder-led marketing, discussing her intimate health on the Gyncast Podcast. Dr. med. Tabea Siebler, Medical Lead: Doctor. Polyglot. One exam room isn't enough for her. Certified gynaecologist, speaks 6 languages, not as a Duolingo streak but to serve her patients. Implemented a new consultation hour for Female Genital Mutilation and Cutting at her last clinic. Currently studying Public Health at the London School of Hygiene because treating one patient at a time wasn't enough. Insa Deden, Software Development: Left the ward to build what was missing on it. Trained and worked as a registered nurse in anaesthesia at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, then went to study health information management to work on the problems she had been living with every shift. She brings the care-delivery perspective that sits next to Tabea's clinical one: what it actually takes for software to hold up at scale in daily practice, rather than in a demo. Moving from working student to full-time. Alongside them: a fractional CFO, regulatory and compliance support from the former Head of Regulatory at Heidelberg Engineering, and technical advisors. Apaleo is the world's most open, API-first property management platform powering the next generation of hospitality operations. Its modular, AI-powered infrastructure enables hoteliers to customise their tech stack, automate routine work, and deliver seamless, personalised guest experiences, powered by best-in-class apps and autonomous AI agents that adapt to every stay. Why this role You are the technical voice in front of strategic customers, at a moment when hospitality is being rebuilt around AI. We are launching our own AI agent platform, and we need architects who can show operators what comes next. High trust. You own the technical answer in front of strategic customers and deals. High visibility. Your work shows up in deals, key accounts and customer stories, and it reaches Product. High freedom. You decide how to solve a problem, which tools to use and what to prototype. Fast iteration. We test ideas within days, try new technology early and share what works. Your mission Win and grow strategic accounts with technical credibility, and turn what you learn in the field into input for the product. You look at a customer's current architecture and show how an Apaleo-centred setup delivers their goals. You also help them put AI agents to work, deciding what should be an agent, what it costs and how to set it up. Sales and Account Management own the relationship and the commercial terms. You own the technical answer. What you will do Technical discovery and solution scoping. Lead discovery where a standard demo is not enough. Write clear scopes covering what Apaleo delivers natively, what needs a short-term solution and what is out of scope. Proofs of concept. Build fast, working proofs of concept (quick demos that show technical fit). Agree scope in writing first, and build in a safe test environment, never with live guest data. Agents and automations. Design and build agents and automations for customer use cases, using n8n or Make today and Apaleo's own AI agent platform as it launches. Write code where agents need deterministic steps. Hands-on delivery and short-term solutions. Work alongside the customer, building only where it unblocks a named deal, removes an adoption risk or fills a product gap. Agree an exit plan (an end date, a replacement and a named owner) before you start. Post-sale health checks and expansions. Diagnose gaps against the go-live specification, run proactive checks (for example 90 days after go-live) and scope integrations for expanding customers. Reusable assets. Turn every engagement into a reference architecture, pattern or template that the next twenty customers can use. Thought leadership. Join prospect and customer conversations on how AI will change hospitality over the next two to three years. Product feedback. Test new technology on real customer problems. Share prototypes and field evidence with Product, ending every experiment with a clear decision: adopt, hand over or drop. How you work You decide the approach, the stack and the order of work. You protect three guardrails: written scope before a proof of concept, an exit plan before a custom build and no commercial promises. You go from idea to prototype in days and show it early. You think in systems and build for reuse, not one-off projects. You share findings openly with Sales, Account Management and Product. Who you work with Sales/BD and Account Management (they call you in at defined deal triggers), Customer Success, Product, Security, Partnerships, RevOps and Senior Leadership. What you bring Must have Multiple years in solution architecture, solution engineering or technical consulting in B2B SaaS, ideally with complex software such as ERP or enterprise platforms Strong API skills: REST, authentication, webhooks and events, and data-flow design Hands-on workflow automation (n8n preferred) and practical experience building with LLM agents A systems thinker with real AI curiosity, who uses AI tools day to day Stakeholder management experience and credibility with executives and IT teams Self-direction, an ownership mindset and the discipline to say no to scope that does not advance a deal Curiosity that ends in working prototypes, not just opinions Clear, structured documentation habits Fluent English and French skills Willingness to travel, including regularly to France and the UK Strong plus Hospitality or travel experience, including hotel operations and PMS concepts (reservations, folios, rate plans, night audit) Experience with another cloud PMS, channel manager or payments integrations Enterprise architecture experience on large, multi-site projects Applied AI or ML background, or experience with MCP and agent platforms SQL and BI fundamentals How we measure success Architecture engagements and blueprints delivered each quarter Customer satisfaction with your contribution Adoption of recommended apps, integrations and agents Share of engagements served by an existing reusable pattern Revenue impact e.g. deal unblocked, AI adoption, or churn averted Your first 90 days Days 1 to 30: Learn the platform and ways of working, shadow discovery and proof of concept work, and take over open customer projects. Days 31 to 60: Lead technical discovery on live deals and run your first health check with Account Management. Days 61 to 90: Deliver a proof of concept or short-term solution end to end with an exit plan, and share your first experiment with Product. What We Offer Culture & Growth A Diverse & International Team: Work alongside passionate professionals from over 20 nationalities, bringing unique cultural perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to shape the future of hospitality tech. Growth & Development: As we scale, so do your opportunities. You'll benefit from 360° feedback reviews, a dedicated learning budget, and plenty of chances to take on more responsibility. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we're just getting started. Role Overview Harvey's Legal Engineers are skilled lawyers from top-tier law firms who apply their legal experience to ensure that current and prospective customers understand how Harvey's solutions enhance specific day-to-day workflows, working alongside Harvey's Account Executives to support all aspects of our sales strategy. Legal Engineers build consultative relationships with law firm partners and associates and in-house attorneys at private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies, becoming trusted advisors on how Harvey's AI solutions can make them more effective. Similar to the way Solutions Architects secure the "technical win" in the sales process, Legal Engineers secure the "legal win" by performing in-depth customer discovery and education on Harvey's solutions through targeted meetings and demos that resonate with the customer's day-to-day workflows specific to their legal practice area. Legal Engineers utilize their experience practicing law and their legal mindset to ask thoughtful questions to understand the needs of law firm and in-house attorneys, develop credibility, and then partner with Account Executives to educate them on Harvey's value via large and small group sessions as well as one-to-one conversations. What You'll Do Engage with lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges, and then explain and demonstrate the value of Harvey's AI solutions to address them. Establish yourself as a credible expert in solving customers' specific legal problems (e.g. researching public and private databases for certain types of information, drafting and analyzing contractual provisions and whole documents, analyzing briefs and filings, corporate governance, conducting due diligence). Lead product demonstrations tailored to the context of various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, asking questions to validate how Harvey can add value and then showcasing Harvey's features and benefits relevant to each prospective client's potential use cases. Partner with the marketing team to develop content that will resonate with lawyers, tailored to the unique needs of their practice areas and client types. Act as the "Voice of the Customer," using your legal perspective to help the broader sales team to develop and implement more effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team through a legal lens. Tailor the introduction of new solutions to specific customer needs. Further the market perception of Harvey as uniquely credible, substantive, and helpful in applying its AI solutions to make lawyers better at their jobs. Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors. Travel may be required from time to time, including visits to customer office locations and company offices. What You Have Must be qualified to practice law in England & Wales, with at least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm in the U.K. Fluent or Native Arabic speaker Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels Outstanding presentation skills to both legal and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos. Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals. Curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry. What you bring Must have Multiple years in solution architecture, solution engineering or technical consulting in B2B SaaS, ideally with complex software such as ERP or enterprise platforms Strong API skills: REST, authentication, webhooks and events, and data-flow design Hands-on workflow automation (n8n preferred) and practical experience building with LLM agents A systems thinker with real AI curiosity, who uses AI tools day to day Stakeholder management experience and credibility with executives and IT teams Self-direction, an ownership mindset and the discipline to say no to scope that does not advance a deal Curiosity that ends in working prototypes, not just opinions Clear, structured documentation habits Fluent English and German skills Willingness to travel, including regularly to France and the UK Strong plus Hospitality or travel experience, including hotel operations and PMS concepts (reservations, folios, rate plans, night audit) Experience with another cloud PMS, channel manager or payments integrations Enterprise architecture experience on large, multi-site projects Applied AI or ML background, or experience with MCP and agent platforms SQL and BI fundamentals How we measure success Architecture engagements and blueprints delivered each quarter Customer satisfaction with your contribution Adoption of recommended apps, integrations and agents Share of engagements served by an existing reusable pattern Revenue impact e.g. deal unblocked, AI adoption, or churn averted Your first 90 days Days 1 to 30: Learn the platform and ways of working, shadow discovery and proof of concept work, and take over open customer projects. Days 31 to 60: Lead technical discovery on live deals and run your first health check with Account Management. Days 61 to 90: Deliver a proof of concept or short-term solution end to end with an exit plan, and share your first experiment with Product.
