Customers and specialist partners strengthen our presence in the market, while Product Marketing and Product have a clear, evidence-backed view of the requirements that matter most. You'll assess progress through qualified pipeline, conversion, sales-cycle performance and customer outcomes, working with Sales and customer teams to understand delivery effort and time to value. How we work Light's values are speed, simplicity and transparency. We make decisions when the evidence is sufficient, keep ownership clear and share progress and problems early. Accounting Manager
AninebingParis, Germany33 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid
project managementprocurementaccountinggaapifrstax+6

ANINE BING is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team based in Paris. This role is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of ANINE BING. As a key contributor within our Paris HQ team, the Accounting Manager brings both strategic insight and hands-on execution to their work — supporting our global growth while staying grounded in the brand's DNA: refined, fast-moving, and always evolving. We're looking for a senior, hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a creative yet performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a project management mindset, a genuine sensitivity to Finance × IT topics (AP automation, ERP improvements), and a structured, team-oriented approach. They are rigorous, organized, and energized by leading a team and building scalable accounting processes across an international footprint. Reporting to the Global Accounting Director, the Accounting Manager owns the day-to-day accounts payable and general accounting operations across our directly-managed entities — France, the UK, the US and other EU markets. The role manages a team of three (AP Accountant, General Accountant, and Intern) and acts as the operational anchor of the accounting team, ensuring clean books, timely closes and strong vendor relationships. The role is expected to operate as a true business partner to all operational departments, not as a back-office function. This is a hybrid position based at our Paris HQ, with one remote day per week (Wednesday or Friday). The role reports to the Accounting & Tax Director. Responsibilities Include: Own the end-to-end accounts payable process across all directly-managed entities: vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, expense reports, and vendor relationship management. Lead the general accounting operations: journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany bookings — ensuring accurate, timely month-end and year-end closes. Manage and develop a team of three (AP Accountant, General Accountant, Intern): set priorities, coach, review work and build technical depth within the team. Partner with the Accounting & Tax Director on the design and implementation of accounting policies, internal controls and process improvements. Lead Finance × IT initiatives within scope: AP automation tools, ERP improvements, expense management systems and approval workflows. Support statutory audits and tax filings by preparing required schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation across entities. Act as a true business partner to Operations, Procurement, Retail and HQ teams — building trust, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth vendor management. Requirements: 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including at least 2 years managing a team of accountants in an international, multi-entity environment. Senior profile with a strong hands-on mindset: comfortable balancing managerial responsibilities with direct, detailed accounting work. Strong technical command of French GAAP; exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is a plus. Solid hands-on expertise across AP and general accounting: full close cycle, reconciliations, intercompany, accruals. Proven project management mindset and Finance × IT sensitivity: experience leading process and system improvements (ERP rollouts, AP automation, expense management tools). Genuine business partner mindset, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with all operational departments. Proven people management skills — including hiring, coaching, and developing junior accountants and interns. Fluent English required; French is a strong asset. Comfortable operating across time zones, including with US-based teams. Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce or consumer goods is a strong plus. Benefits & Perks HQ FRANCE: At ANINE BING Paris, we combine creative ambition with a people-first culture. Expect generous time off (including RTT), a hybrid schedule with one remote day per week, exclusive discounts on our collections, and private sales access — so you can live the brand as much as you build it. Style Perks: Enjoy a generous employee discount and seasonal wardrobe allotments — so you can live the brand, not just represent it. Performance Bonus: Eligibility for an annual performance bonus of 10% of base salary, tied to close quality, process improvements and team development. The target gross annual base salary for this role is between €70,000 and €85,000, depending on experience, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus of 10%. Working at ANINE BING ANINE BING seeks to empower its employees by providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, Veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. Diversity and inclusion is critical to our success as a global brand, and we seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool.
