Founding Account Manager, EMEA
Geordie AILondon Hybrid, Germany (Hybrid)27 days ago
Full TimeHybridMid
goforecastingcrmsalesaccount managementcustomer success+2

Founding Account Manager, EMEA The Role Geordie helps enterprises govern their AI agents safely, and our customer base is growing quickly. We're hiring our founding Account Manager for EMEA to look after those customers and help them get the most out of Geordie. This is an important hire for us. You'll be the first person in EMEA focused entirely on existing customers, looking after our first 50 or so customers in the region plus our strategic accounts. Our US Account Manager has already put much of our customer process in place. You'll adapt it for EMEA and keep improving how we onboard, support, grow, and renew customers. When a customer runs into a problem, you'll dig into the technical detail yourself and work with our Technical Account Managers, Support, and Engineering teams until it's fixed. The role is also commercial. You'll own renewals and carry a renewal number, and you'll work with our Account Executives on upsell and cross-sell. We use AI agents in our day-to-day work, including tools like Claude Cowork, and we'd expect you to as well. If that doesn't interest you, this probably isn't the right role. What You'll Do Own the Customer Relationship — Be the main day-to-day contact for our first 50 or so EMEA customers and our strategic accounts. Run bi-weekly check-ins and Executive Business Reviews. Know each customer well: what they're trying to achieve with AI agents, who the key people are, and where Geordie is helping. Lead Onboarding and Implementation — Run onboarding and implementation for new customers. Agree milestones with them, hold them to those milestones, and get them up and running quickly. Evolve the Customer Motion — Take the processes our US team has built, adapt them for EMEA, and improve them as we learn. Add to our playbooks and health metrics. Solve Problems Hands-On — Learn the Geordie platform well enough to troubleshoot issues yourself. When something needs Support, a Technical Account Manager, or Engineering, stay on it until the customer's problem is solved. Own Renewals — Carry a renewal number and hit it. Start renewal conversations early, spot at-risk accounts in advance, and put a plan in place for each one. Drive Expansion — Work with our Account Executives on upsell and cross-sell. Look for opportunities in new teams, use cases, and products, and lead the conversations where you know the customer best. Turn Customers into Advocates — Get happy customers to speak up for Geordie, whether that's a reference call, an introduction to a prospect, a review, a testimonial, a case study, or a public post. Be the Voice of the Customer — Pass what you hear from customers to Product and Engineering, clearly and regularly, so it shapes what we build next. Collaborate Across the Company — Work closely with Sales, Technical Account Managers, Support, Product, and Development. Make handoffs smooth so customers never have to repeat themselves. CRM Discipline — Keep Attio up to date with account health, renewal dates, expansion opportunities, and next steps. Forecasting — Give accurate renewal and expansion forecasts, including which accounts are at risk and what you're doing about it. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who builds customer trust quickly, fixes problems themselves where they can, and takes responsibility for renewals and growth. You're a builder. We're early, so plenty of things aren't figured out yet. You like setting up and improving processes, and you're comfortable working without a finished playbook. You're technical. You don't need to be an engineer, but you take the time to understand the product properly. When a customer has a problem, you try to fix it yourself first. You're commercial. You're comfortable owning a renewal number, negotiating renewals, and working with our AEs on expansion. You know that happy customers and revenue are closely linked. You're obsessed with your customers. You want your customers to succeed, you think ahead about what they'll need, and you speak up for them inside Geordie. You work well with others. You build good relationships across Sales, Technical Account Management, Support, and Development, and you know how to get the right people involved when a customer needs help. You're organised. You update Attio as you go, so anyone can open an account and see where things stand. Your renewal forecasts hold up, and you can explain the plan for every account you own. You use AI in your work. You already use AI tools, including agents, day to day, and you're keen to use more. You're comfortable with ambiguity. You make decisions without having every answer, and you change course when you need to. Requirements 5–7 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar customer-facing role in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity. Proven track record of owning and delivering a renewal number, with strong gross and net retention results. Experience driving or supporting upsell and cross-sell motions in partnership with sales teams. Experience managing relationships with enterprise customers across multiple stakeholders, from practitioners to senior leadership. Technical aptitude and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex products. Experience building or significantly improving customer processes, playbooks, or functions. Disciplined about keeping CRM data accurate and current. A track record of working well across sales, support, technical, and product teams. Strong written and verbal communication, and the confidence to run Executive Business Reviews with senior stakeholders. Based in or able to commute to London regularly; willingness to travel within Europe as needed. Nice to Haves Fluency in one or more European languages in addition to English (e.g. French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, or Nordic languages). Experience working with security or AI/ML tooling customers. Prior experience as an early or founding customer hire at a high-growth Series A–B SaaS company. An existing network of enterprise security and AI leaders in the UK and Europe. Why This Role Enterprises are adopting AI agents quickly, and they need a way to govern them safely. That's what Geordie does. Keeping our customers successful is how we grow, so this role matters a lot to us. As our first Account Manager in EMEA, you'll have a real say in how we work with customers, what we build next, and the culture of the team. Our Values Solve What Matters — We listen intently and stay focused on what truly matters to our customers. If it doesn't help them navigate real-world agentic adoption and risk, it's probably not worth building. Build, Learn, Iterate — We favour momentum over perfection: testing, learning, and evolving through action. It's how we move fast and get better, together. Kind, Not Comfortable — We're honest, respectful, and unafraid to challenge each other. We believe doing great work should feel good, too. Kindness makes that possible. A Platform for Your Best Work — We want this to be the most meaningful chapter of your career. Geordie is the place where you grow, lead and lift others, while building something that truly matters Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

We're Heidi. We're building the future of healthcare by giving every clinician the earth's finest AI Care Partner. Our platform has absorbed the administrative chaos of 175 million patient visits and supported 67 million clinical hours. Today, we support 2.8 million patient sessions a week across 190+ countries, in 110 languages and over 200 specialties. Healthcare systems are failing us; clinicians spend more time on documentation than on patients, and the human connection that makes medicine worth practicing is eroding. Our mission is simple: double the world's capacity for care and strengthen the human connection at its heart. We found product-market fit with a freemium medical scribe that clinicians love. Now, we're expanding. Every task a clinician hands to Heidi is a patient who feels more attended to, a health system unclogged, and a clinician who gets to be a clinician again. We've grown annual recurring revenue from $1 million to $50 million in two years. To go further, we've secured US$340 million: a $100 million Series C led by Blackbird, with Phoenix Court, Point72 Private Investments and Headline, alongside a $240 million growth investment led by General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund. If you want to join us in doing work worth shipping, jump in. The Role Heidi sits in an unusual position. We lead a category being built for the first time. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians found us on their own, started using the product for free, and told a colleague. The market is open, and we're in the privileged position of clinicians already liking the product. Your job is to turn those smaller-scale use cases into enterprise deals. You're the first line to Heidi in France. Inbound demand connects you with cabinets, maisons de santé, and hospital groups already using us, and you decide whether to qualify each one in, out, or close it yourself. Where the signals run thin, you build the outbound. For most clinicians, you'll be the first person from Heidi they ever speak to. You'll both triage inbound to Account Executives where needed and close your own deals from day one, because we want people as close to the frontline as possible. You'll build a network across French healthcare that outlasts the role. What you'll do Work the inbound queue and the warm product signals across France. Your day goes to clinicians and cabinets already using Heidi, where the product tells you who's outgrown the free version. Build outbound where the signals are thin: pick the practice groups, maisons de santé and hospital groups worth going after and work them in French. Research the accounts behind those signals, work out who else in the cabinet or hospital group needs to be in the conversation, and build the case for each one. Reach the people the signals point to, across calls, email and social, while the interest is still fresh. Book demos and meetings for your AEs with enough context that nothing is lost in the handoff. Own SMB deals end to end, from first conversation through to closed. Keep HubSpot accurate, keep the pipeline moving and hit your qualified-lead number every month. Partner with AEs, Marketing, Product, Operations and Customer Success so what you promise on the call matches what clinicians get, and so the French-language product and collateral keep up with what you hear. Track what's shifting in French healthcare (regulation, the practice and hospital groups, Assurance Maladie and the mutuelles, the competitive set) and tell the team what you're hearing on the phones. What you'll need Native or fluent French, and English that allows you to work in a global team. You've worked somewhere with a high bar, whether that's tech, sales, creative, banking, consulting, or PE/VC. We care more about what you've achieved than your time in a sales role. You care about what we do. You'd rather learn how the product works than memorise a pitch. You can hold a conversation with anyone and get to the point of it fast. Clinicians have extremely busy schedules, so you need to respect that and still get the meeting. Knowing how French healthcare buys (who decides in a cabinet, a maison de santé or a hospital group, and who pays) is a head start. If you don't know it yet, you're the type who'd learn it in your first weeks. Organised and self-running. You run your own list, your own day and your own follow-ups without being chased. Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping or side projects. You default to building over requesting. You're confident in your thinking and open to being wrong. At Heidi, great ideas win regardless of who surfaces them. Attitude is more important than experience, so if you are a hungry, competitive and highly motivated operator who has a knack for problem-solving and building relationships, we want to hear from you. How we show up Build for the next decade, not next quarter . Our targets are outrageous on purpose. The world's health doesn't have the luxury of incrementalism. Lead, don't wait . We treat tomorrow's problems today. Sometimes we build what's needed before it's wanted, and we're fine with that. Follow the evidence . Trust the patient. We pursue truth relentlessly. But when the subjective and objective disagree, we treat the patient, not the numbers. Ego is a comorbidity we can't afford. Own the outcome . Everyone here carries the company. Raise problems with solutions, solve them end-to-end, and never be a bystander. Ship, measure, go again . A button today, a workflow tomorrow. More iterations beat better planning. We're precise at pace, not reckless. Live in clinicians' reality . Not the ideal workflow, the twenty-patients-before-lunch actual one. We build for exhausted humans, and we'd better be decent ones while we do it. Why Heidi? You'll join a team measured on real-world impact, not press cycles. We live and breathe the challenges of modern health systems, and are laser-focused on exacting the change we'd like to see. We're medicos, engineers, builders and designers who've felt (on every side of the equation) what non-care feels like, the moral and practical toll as a provider or receiver. Building what we're building isn't always easy. Standard tech playbooks routinely fail in healthcare, and the friction of the medical system will test your perseverance. But we didn't choose easy, we chose a purpose-driven mission that actually matters. We hold ourselves to a higher standard because healthcare demands it. If you join Heidi, you recognize that the deeper question isn't whether AI can solve the global healthcare crisis, but whose hands will shape it. True A-players progress extremely fast here. The nature of the scale-up game is demanding, but we value sustainable performance and mental health. You're trusted to perform, and you set your schedule. We operate on outcomes > inputs, not process theatre. We all take the bins out, metaphorically and literally. We take care of you. We chose to open-source our benefits hub , if you care to take a peek. Compensation: €55K – €70K • + OTE • €55K – €70K • + OTE Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow
