Senior Planning Manager
HelloFreshDerby, Germany18 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteSenior
dentalmental healthforecastingexcelinsurancecompliance+4

About The Team: The Planning team is the most data-driven team at HelloFresh: we plan, schedule and analyse the production of every box, and start the process of feeding the UK. With hundreds of thousands of customers relying on us to get the plan right, this is a role with real ownership and real impact. What You Will Be Doing: Reporting into the site leadership, you'll own the production plan for the UK in its entirety, and lead the planning team. This is a role for someone who wants to build and elevate: to take a team through a step change in maturity, drive it to operate at its full potential, and make the plan as efficient and optimised as it can be. In your first year you will: Own the UK production plan end to end, working daily with the site director to balance efficiency, plan attainment, minimised downtime and flexibility. Own the planning structure for the site, and take full responsibility for scale hiring of our operational workforce, assessing labour requirements continuously. Own the ramp and the seasonal calendar, planning ahead rather than reacting to it. Lead, coach and elevate the planning team, the CS4 Planning Manager and the planning executives, holding them to the level their roles are set at and developing them towards it. Continuously improve the planning strategy, using data and feedback to adapt to changing business needs. Work closely with BI, Operations and wider stakeholders to automate processes, refine planning tools, and move work that shouldn't sit with the team away from it. Generate and analyse weekly and monthly KPIs across operational planning, identify trends and issues, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Own compliance for the team across Food Safety, Health & Safety and applicable standards (e.g. BRCGS, ISO). Who You Are: A strong background in production or labour planning, with proven experience forecasting labour and production needs. Real people-leadership experience: you've managed a team and coached individuals through their development, and you know how to raise a team's performance. A strong technical skillset, advanced in Excel and Google Sheets, with an understanding of AI and how to apply it to planning. Long-term orientation above all: you plan and build for the future rather than firefight, and hold a clear view of where the team and the plan need to be. Data-driven, with the analytical depth to base decisions on fact rather than instinct. A strong advocate for your team, able to protect and develop them while raising the bar. A degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferable. What you will get in return: ● 70% off HelloFresh or Green Chef boxes ● Company pension scheme ● Gym membership ● Bupa private medical insurance (including dental & family cover options) ● Mental health first aiders and an employee assistance programme ● Nursery support scheme ● Cycle to work scheme ● Group Life Assurance Location : The Windmill, Unit 2 SmartParc, Derby, DE21 7HW To be considered for this role, you'll need to have the independent right to work in the UK, as we're unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship at this time. Hybrid Working Policy We offer a hybrid working policy for eligible roles, allowing flexibility to work from home and in the office. For more details on eligibility and how this applies to the role you're applying for, please consult with your recruiter. Next steps : Your application will be reviewed and if successful, a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch within 2 weeks. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring you take reasonable care of your own health, and safety as well as others who may be affected by the work activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment, we will process Disclosure and Barring Service ( DBS ) checks to the successful individual. Failure to disclose relevant information at application or throughout the process could affect your employment with the company. If you are currently a HelloFresh employee, please make sure you have discussed your application with your Line Manager. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist
UforceUnited Kingdom | Remote (Fully Remote)18 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteSenior
goaccountingtaxexcelpayrollcompliance+1

UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable. Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia. UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems. About the Role We're hiring a Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist to own payroll processing and compliance for our workforce across the US and Europe. You will be the main contact between the company and our US EOR provider and international payroll advisors (UK, US, Poland, Portugal, Estonia, Germany). For European entities that run payroll locally, you will receive their payroll data, keep one accurate record of who sits on which entity's books, and consolidate it into group-level reporting. You will also own benefits administration, the annual renewal cycle, and pensions in every country where we operate. The job covers more than processing. You will run live payroll cycles accurately and also improve how payroll works: writing SOPs, tightening controls, consolidating reporting, managing providers, and supporting audits. Over time you will reduce our reliance on third-party providers by moving payroll onto our in-house platform in each country where we hold a local entity, including setting up payroll for a separate US entity on its own system ahead of a planned handover to local ownership. You will work closely with People, Finance, payroll providers, benefits brokers, pension providers, and auditors, and you will be the person employees go to for fast, accurate answers on pay, pension, and benefits. The role is UK-based. Responsibilities Run UK and US payroll cycles from start to finish: validate all inputs (new hires, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, time off), review every payroll register, and coordinate with the US EOR and international payroll advisors. Act as the main contact for European entities that run their own payroll: receive monthly payroll data, reconcile it against HRIS headcount, and keep a single accurate record of who sits on which entity's books. Own statutory filings and tax portal access for UK and US payroll, and produce consolidated group payroll reporting to support month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and audit. Administer benefits and pension schemes in every country: enrollments, changes, leaver removals, entity transfers, reconciliations to payroll and provider invoices, and the annual renewal cycle with brokers and providers. Move payroll onto our in-house platform in each country where we hold a local entity, covering statutory registration, data migration, parallel running, and cutover. Set up and run payroll for a separate US entity on its own system ahead of a planned handover to local ownership. Build and maintain the payroll operating rhythm (calendars, SOPs, controls, knowledge-base materials) with regular audits across payroll, HRIS, benefits, and provider data. Hold external providers and country contacts to agreed timescales, and resolve discrepancies before they reach an employee's pay. Answer employee questions on pay, pension, and benefits quickly, accurately, and confidentially, against a published response standard. Requirements Must-have: Direct coordination of EOR providers, payroll advisors, or local payroll contacts across multiple countries. You hold providers to deadlines, check their outputs, and consolidate data into a reliable group view. You have owned UK payroll cycles from start to finish, have credible US payroll exposure (direct processing, EOR coordination, or advisor management), and have reconciled payroll against HRIS or entity data across several countries. Benefits and pensions administration experience, including enrollments, leavers, provider invoices, payroll deductions, UK auto-enrollment, member data, and annual renewals. Payroll migration or entity setup experience: you have supported or led a move from an external provider or EOR to in-house processing (statutory registration, data migration, parallel running, cutover, provider exit), or set up payroll for a new entity. Founder mindset: highly independent, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Why join us? Join a world-class team of engineers and builders. Backed by top investors including a16z, Y Combinator, Base10, Prysm Capital and Eurazeo. Have ownership and autonomy of projects and are encouraged to ship. Comprehensive Benefits including healthcare, dental, vision coverage. Competitive salary + equity in a high-growth startup. Our Operating Principles Extreme Ownership We take full responsibility for our work, outcomes, and team success. No excuses, no blame-shifting — if something needs fixing, we own it and make it better. This means stepping up, even when it's not "your job." If a ball is dropped, we pick it up. If a customer is unhappy, we fix it. If a process is broken, we redesign it. We don't wait for someone else to solve it — we lead with accountability and expect the same from those around us. Craftsmanship Putting care and intention into every task, striving for excellence, and taking deep ownership of the quality and outcome of your work. Craftsmanship means never settling for "just fine." We sweat the details because details compound. Whether it's a product feature, an internal doc, or a sales call — we treat it as a reflection of our standards. We aim to deliver jaw-dropping customer experiences by being curious, meticulous, and proud of what we build — even when nobody's watching. We are "majos" Be friendly & have fun with your coworkers. Always be genuine & honest, but kind. "Majo" is our way of saying: be a good human. Be approachable, helpful, and warm. We're building something ambitious, and it's easier (and more fun) when we enjoy the ride together. We give feedback with kindness, challenge each other with respect, and celebrate wins together without ego. Urgency with Focus Create the highest impact in the shortest amount of time. Move fast, but in the right direction. We operate with speed because time is our most limited resource. But speed without focus is chaos. We prioritize ruthlessly, act decisively, and stay aligned. We aim for high leverage: the biggest results from the simplest, smartest actions. We're running a high-speed marathon — not a sprint with no strategy. Talent Density and Meritocracy Hire only people who can raise the average; 'exceptional performance is the passing grade.' Ability trumps seniority. We believe the best teams are built on talent density — every hire should raise the bar. We reward contribution, not titles or tenure. We give ownership to those who earn it, and we all hold each other to a high standard. A-players want to work with other A-players — that's how we win. First-Principles Thinking Strip a problem to physics-level facts, ignore industry dogma, rebuild the solution from scratch. We don't copy-paste solutions. We go back to basics, ask why things are the way they are, and rebuild from the ground up if needed. This mindset pushes us to innovate, challenge stale assumptions, and move faster than incumbents. It's how we build what others think is impossible. The personal data provided in your application and during the selection process will be processed by Happyrobot, Inc., acting as Data Controller.
