Strategic Account Manager
Full TimeOn-siteMid
gomanufacturingsaleslogistics

At Hive, we're building the defining physical AI platform of the next decade. Industrial labor is one of the most acute bottlenecks in the global economy. Operators are expensive, hard to retain, and working in environments that are increasingly unsafe. The shortage is structural. The window to solve it is now. Our answer is a machine-agnostic intelligence platform that lets any machine, on any site, perceive, decide, and act autonomously. One platform. Any machine. No fleet replacement. Already live across multiple sites and customers in Europe - spanning logistics and warehousing, industrial manufacturing, and large-scale chemical production - with a US expansion underway. The vision: one operator managing hundreds of machines simultaneously. Productive machine-hour cost dropping by 80x, and unlocks the next productivity revolution in physical work. The mission is to make productivity limitless. Come and help us build it. The Role A European building materials group has agreed with Hive at CEO level to roll out supervised autonomy across its quarries. Pilots are running, and the agreement covers around 80 sites in several countries over the next years. The signed agreement is where your work starts. Head office has said yes, but every site still has to: the plant manager, the safety team and the production planner. You get each site commercially ready before our Delivery team arrives, and you decide with the customer in which order sites go live. This role sits between Sales and Delivery. Account Executives land new customers. Delivery installs and runs the machines. You own the rollout inside the accounts that have already signed at group level, starting with this one and followed by the next global customers. Nobody has held this job at Hive before. How you run this account becomes how Hive runs every global account after it. What You Will Do Own the rollout plan Build the site by site rollout plan with the customer's executive sponsor. Sequence the rollout against what Hive can actually deliver, and defend that sequence to the customer and internally. Get each site to yes on its own numbers. Build the business case per site Set the commercial terms per site inside the frame agreement: KPI thresholds, scaling estimates, exit criteria and pricing. Find the value beyond labour cost, such as pit design, shift patterns and production planning, and build the case the plant director takes to their board. Run the relationship Keep the stakeholder map current in every country, from the group executive sponsor to the site supervisor. Run the governance: monthly with the customer's programme owner, quarterly with their executive sponsor, weekly with Hive's Delivery lead. Hand each site over to Delivery once it is scoped, then move to the next. Build the model Carry customer requests into Product and Engineering, and push back on the ones that are not worth building. Document how Hive runs a global account, and hand it to the person who takes the next one. What We're Looking For Essential You have run a multi-site or multi-country programme, either on the vendor side or as the customer's programme owner. You have owned a number on an account: revenue, margin or a rollout target. Experience building business cases and working with both executive teams and site operations. Industrial context: construction, quarrying, mining, building materials, infrastructure or process industry. Highly structured, and comfortable owning the details over a long programme. You have told a customer no on scope, price or date, and kept the relationship. A life situation that allows heavy travel in the UK and Europe. Right to work in the UK. Strongly Preferred Operations or strategy consulting experience with industrial or infrastructure clients. Experience from a large construction or building materials company. French or German. This Is Probably Not the Job for You If You want to recommend and move on. Site 40 in year three is part of the job. You need a delivery organisation that hits every date. Ours is young, and you will be the one explaining a slip to the customer. You want a pure sales role. Landing new logos belongs to the Account Executives. What Success Looks Like The first sites are past pilot, in contract and running, and the next batch is commercially ready before Delivery gets there. The customer's executive sponsor holds a written rollout plan with dates and KPIs, and treats it as theirs. Every site that went live did so on terms that make money for Hive. Hive has a documented way of running a global account, in use on the second one. Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

About Us Fundamental XR builds VR and haptic training solutions for the med-tech, med-device, and pharma industries. We're VC-backed and our market position is unique. We already work with some of the biggest names in the industry; Philips, Johnson & Johnson, AbbVie, Orbis, Abiomed, Vicarious Surgical, Novartis, and Allergan, among others. Our target markets are pouring investment into VR, AR, XR, and AI right now. That timing, combined with warm accounts that have room to grow and large enterprise logos still untapped, means the ceiling on this role is high. Where we see this hire having a real impact You'll help set the standard for how we sell. Your cadence, outreach approach, and account strategy will become the model others follow. Generate your own pipeline. You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and selling new business opportunities. We expect the successful candidate to have strong SDR fundamentals, tailored email, proficient on the phone and create bespoke LinkedIn outreach as well as building the confidence to work our target market in person at industry events. Grow warm accounts. Take existing relationships with room to expand and turn them into larger, multi-stakeholder deals. Open up untapped enterprise accounts. Using a 'scalpel-selling' approach, with focused, research-led targeting rather than relying on broader, generic outreach. Run a consultative, complex sales process. With deals starting at $150,000 and scaling to $1m+, you'll be managing long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and technical/clinical buying committees and need to qualify opportunities through agreed frameworks (BANTC, MEDDPICC etc.). Use data to drive and defend your strategy. (Senior) Value Engineer
TactoMunich, Germany35 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid

Your Impact Procurement is the single biggest cost position for industrial companies , often 60-70% of revenue. Tacto brings AI to strategic procurement so teams can move faster, become more resilient and unlock savings at scale. However, winning a customer takes more than a good platform. It takes a business case that convinces the C-level (primarily CEO and CFO). As our Value Engineer, you own exactly that. You quantify what Tacto is worth to a specific customer, prove it with their own data, and present it to the executives who sign. As the first Value Engineer in a dedicated segment, you are perfectly positioned to shape this function and maximize its impact. It's a hands-on, high-trust role at the center of our deals, ideal for someone who wants to combine procurement expertise, analytical depth, and the C-suite room in one role. Your Tasks Make our AI tangible: Tacto's AI runs billions of spend and finds savings customers didn't know existed. Your job is to demonstrate that with the customer's own data: make sure our solution fits their needs, they recognize the value, blockers are resolved, and the path to a successful implementation is set. Build the Business Case: Construct ROI analyses that stand up to C-level readout standards: real customer data, defensible baselines, scenarios and sensitivities. Your numbers directly shape whether deals are won. Bring the Procurement Expertise: You are the person with in-depth knowledge of categories, procurement organizations and processes. Dig through spend data for price anomalies, bundling opportunities and supplier alternatives, and turn insights into a value story. Own the C-Suite: Lead executive meetings with CEOs, CFOs and managing directors of industrial companies. You present, justify and land the case. Work as a Deal Team: You team up with an Account Executive on every deal: the AE owns the program and the customer relationship, you own the value. Together you form the deal team that gets customers over the line. Shape the Product: Be the voice of sales and customers towards the product team. Channel feedback, discuss roadmap trade-offs from a customer perspective, and know every Tacto module deep enough to demo solo. Your Profile You've worked in procurement or procurement consulting and know categories, negotiations, supplier management and procurement organizations from the inside You're analytically sharp: you find the story in messy spend data and turn it into ROI calculations a C-level trusts You're at your best in front of C-level audiences and stay sharp when they push back You learn products fast and deep, and thrive diving into in-depth technical demos You take ownership across teams (Sales, Solution Engineering, Product, Customer Value) and drive deals forward without being asked You use AI tools to move faster than people expect Fluent in German and English (our buyers decide in German) Why This Role is Awesome Tacto is already the leading AI solution for procurement, running billions of € of spend every month, increasing resilience and saving millions in measurable, tangible spend each week. For customer leads, that value can feel abstract at first. Your job is to make it tangible: demonstrate the capabilities of our solution with the customer's own data, and create the trust that convinces them to buy. You'll work closely with the sales team and Tacto's senior leadership, shape the future product roadmap and development, and as the first Value Engineer in your segment you build the function to maximize its impact. What This Role Is and Isn't We want to be honest about what you're signing up for: The day-to-day is deal work: digging through messy spend data, building ROI models, prepping demos, and hitting deadlines set by live sales cycles. It's demanding and detailed, and it's some of the highest-leverage work at Tacto: our deals are won or lost on it. This is a dual role by design. You build the business case AND you stand in front of the C-level to defend it. If you only want to analyze, or only want to present, this isn't the right fit. The deal: prove yourself, deliver real impact, make a strong case for yourself, then we'll support your growth in every way possible. Why Tacto We bet on internal talent and mean it. We consistently back smart, hungry people with real ownership early. 70%+ of our Leadership Team was promoted internally: you deliver impact and sky is the limit at Tacto. Backed to win big. We are Sequoia and Index-funded and have €50M+ behind us. Our founders sit at the same table as the people defining the global AI agenda, from Sam Altman to Europe's leading tech entrepreneurs. We're building Tacto to be the lighthouse for European industrial AI. A truly AI-native organization, with every resource you could dream of. All the leading AI tools and custom agents at your fingertips, plus dedicated "AI captains" who keep us at the frontier. High bar, high speed, genuinely fun. You'll be surrounded by extremely smart and ambitious people who set the bar high and push you to get better every week. Intense, fast, and the opposite of boring. A front-row seat in the European startup ecosystem. Weekly exposure to leading founders and operators through internal and external events, e.g. with Andreas Klinger , Judith Dada or during large Hackathons . Check out all upcoming and past events here: https://luma.com/tacto You'll build something that lasts and that matters. You'll help build the company that keeps European industry competitive for the long-term. Our Background Tacto is building the intelligence layer that connects AI to the physical world of manufacturing, starting with procurement. AI is transforming every industry, but it stops at the factory gate. The knowledge that holds manufacturing together - part costs, suppliers, materials - is scattered across systems and people. Over 50% of a product's cost originates from suppliers, making procurement the single largest cost lever in manufacturing and the missing connection between the digital and the physical world. Yet it still runs on Excel and legacy systems. We're changing that with our Procurement Intelligence Platform, trusted by hundreds of companies running billions of Euros of material. Based in Munich, we are 100+ passionate builders who are in-office, with high expectations, fast growth, and a lot of fun. We are supported by >€50m from Sequoia, Index, and Europe's leading tech entrepreneurs and industry veterans. Why It Matters Manufacturing forms Europe's economic backbone, driving a fourth of Europe's GDP and providing over 30% of jobs. These hidden champions and global market leaders manufacture the physical world around us, from the machines that build our cities to the medical devices that save lives. But the world is changing. The US dominates the digital world of bits. China is scaling the world of atoms, manufacturing at unprecedented speed and scale. Geopolitics are more uncertain than ever. Europe's strength lies in its deep industrial knowledge through generations of engineering. Manufacturing worldwide runs on European machines and software. But that heritage is only an advantage if we leverage it in the age of AI. Tacto builds the AI that connects Atoms and Bits, empowering our Industrial Base to Stay Stronger and building a lighthouse for European tech. What We Offer The people at Tacto are passionate about building the organization, growing themselves, and our product while having fun and being real. We have high expectations, great talent density, and a culture where your ambition, performance, and agency are what count - not where you come from or how big your ego is. You'll grow at the forefront of AI, have real ownership and impact, and be surrounded by the best people in their field who challenge you and make you better every day. That is demanding and rewarding, but that's where we thrive. Besides that you have: Money: Competitive salary & equity in the company with real upside, so you are invested in our success Workplace: A vibrant in-office culture (> 4 days/week) in a beautiful office in central Munich Development: A development budget and regular exposure to exceptional people, e.g., Lunch & Learns, peer mentoring, external speakers Time off: 26 + 4 vacation days per year (4 fixed "company rest days") as well as regular off-sites and team events Health: Wellpass membership, of course, a fruit basket (!), and access to Jobrad, for your health Family & Social Security: Voluntary pension contribution, voluntary KITA subsidy for your children Tacto is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or gender identity. Please do not submit personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, data concerning your health, or data concerning your sexual orientation.
