About us EggAI is a fast-growing, 100% remote AI consulting and development startup based in Munich. We build agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients. We are growing in several European markets at the same time, are actively building our internal structures — and are looking for someone to help shape this growth phase. Your role You are our go-to person for day-to-day accounting. You make sure every receipt, invoice and expense ends up in the right place — cost center, account, country — and you prepare everything so that our external tax advisor can book without back-and-forth. You work across several European countries, with employees and freelancers, and with local payroll providers. We don't have fully established processes yet, so you won't just follow a playbook: you spot gaps, think the process through and set it up yourself. You work closely with our Head of Finance, who owns controlling, forecasting and reporting, and with our external tax advisor, who handles ongoing bookkeeping, annual financial statements and German payroll. You ideally bring your own experience from a tax advisory firm or a similar environment. Your responsibilities ● Preparatory bookkeeping: Pre-code receipts and prepare them for ongoing bookkeeping by our tax advisor ● Receipt and invoice management: Collect receipts and incoming invoices, review them, and consistently follow up on open items ● Correct allocation: Make sure expenses are assigned to the correct cost center and the correct account in the chart of accounts ● Travel expenses across Europe: Manage per diems (meal allowances), mileage allowances and comparable expense rules across countries for our teams in Europe ● Employees & freelancers across Europe: Know the Europe-wide controlling and accounting topics that apply to employees and freelancers — or get up to speed on them quickly ● International payroll interface: Manage local payroll providers and salary payments ● Cash flow: Think along on cash flow structures & reporting, and keep them up to date ● Process setup: Independently think through and set up finance processes and structures in an international, growing environment What you bring Must have ● 4+ years of professional experience in finance & accounting ● German at a fluent professional level (C1/C2), including German accounting and tax terminology; English at least B1, as our team is diverse and English is often the working language ● Very good DATEV skills and solid understanding of the chart of accounts and correct account assignment ● Flexibility with tools: you quickly find your way around other systems such as Odoo ● You have owned finance and accounting topics end-to-end, without day-to-day guidance ● You are comfortable in gray areas and make good decisions even without complete information Nice to have ● Completed commercial vocational training or a degree with a focus on finance, accounting or controlling ● Understanding of how a balance sheet should be structured to be meaningful for investors — ideally through your own experience in a tax advisory firm or similar environment ● Exposure to controlling topics such as cost centers, forecasts or project margins ● Motivated, proactive and creative personality with a hands-on mentality — you want to shape things, not just administer them Why EggAI? ● 100% remote work in an international, highly motivated team ● Flat structures and direct access to the Head of Finance and the founders — short paths, fast decisions ● Freedom to shape: you help build the finance infrastructure of an AI scale-up from the ground up ● Insight into one of the most dynamic growth fields in tech and into building a company across Europe Sounds like you? We'd love to hear from you! If your profile looks like a good match we'll be in touch to organise a first stage interview. Please note, due to the high volume of candidates, we cannot offer personalized feedback to each candidate. About EggAI Agentic workforces are inevitable. Making them work is our mission. EggAI is building the engineering methods, operating models, and reusable technology to deploy agentic workforces with the quality and control required for sustained business impact. Working closely with enterprise clients, we design, implement and operate agentic systems that evolve from augmenting individual tasks to autonomously executing end-to-end processes alongside people—resilient, controlled, and scalable. We begin with the client problem, select the technical approach that best serves it, and remain accountable through deployment, adoption, and operations. Each deployment strengthens the next by turning production learning into reusable capability. We are an experienced, international team working across Europe. We set high standards, take ownership of outcomes, and value clear thinking, candid feedback, and the ability to turn ideas into tangible results. What you'll do in the role: Own and drive complex, 6–12+ month sales cycles with Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies Build strategic, multi-threaded relationships across engineering, DevOps, observability, and procurement leadership Sell consultatively, bringing deep understanding of the customer's business, technical landscape, and buying process Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Product, and Customer Success to shape high-value, tailored deals Deliver predictable pipeline growth, accurate forecasting, and exceed quota targets Represent Honeycomb at key industry events, conferences, and executive briefings What you'll bring to the role: 7+ years of full-cycle enterprise SaaS selling experience, ideally in DevOps, observability, or cloud infrastructure Proven ability to land $500K+ multi-year deals with complex buying committees Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders across technical and non-technical roles Deep discovery, storytelling, and consultative selling expertise A track record of building champions and navigating enterprise buying cycles with precision Grit, ambition, and a bias for execution—someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments Experience leveraging MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar enterprise sales frameworks On Target Earnings (OTE) based on level of experience (Base + Commission) £220,000 — £260,000 GBP What you'll get when you join the Hive: A stake in our success - generous equity with employee-friendly stock program It's not about how strong of a negotiator you are - our pay is based on transparent levels relative to experience Time to recharge with unlimited PTO A distributed-first mindset and culture (really!) Home office, co-working, and internet stipend Full benefits coverage for employees, with additional coverage available for dependents Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, regardless of path to parenthood Annual development allowance And much more... Please note we cannot currently sponsor or support visa transfers at this time. Additionally, in compliance with applicable law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work. Phishing and Recruitment Scam Warning: We take your security seriously. Please be aware that recruitment scams are increasingly common and scammers may create email addresses or websites to impersonate Honeycomb employees. To help protect you: All communications will come from an ----- email address We occasionally work with external recruiting agencies. These partners will use legitimate business email addresses— never personal accounts like Gmail or Yahoo . Our recruiting process will never ask you to provide financial or sensitive personal information, including but not limited to: Social security or tax identification numbers Credit card numbers Bank account information Diversity & Accommodations: We're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace—where people of all backgrounds, identities, experiences, and abilities are welcomed, valued, and supported. Legal AI is only as good as the knowledge behind it. At Lefebvre Sdu, we've been building that knowledge for 200 years. Day in, day out. Law by law. Word by word. Other legal AI tools run on our data and software. As the Dutch heart of Lefebvre Group, the European leader in legal and tax knowledge, we're also developing our own platform: GenIA-L, where lawyers and tax professionals don't just get an answer, but an answer they're willing to put their name to. More than 75,000 professionals use it every day, accounting for over €100 million ARR across Europe. We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help shape how the intelligent core of that platform evolves. HOW YOU'LL MOVE US FORWARD GenIA-L is a research platform for legal professionals. A user asks a question. The platform searches our trusted sources and turns them into a usable answer. This is done with agents: specialised AI components that each take on part of the question and work together. In the legal domain, an answer can't just sound convincing. It has to be correct, and you need to be able to see which source it comes from. This isn't a pilot: the platform is in production and used heavily every day. As a senior, you build alongside the team, but you also keep the bigger picture in view. You know the different parts of the platform and how they affect one another. You help prioritise, spot obstacles early and make sure we're heading in the right direction, both in how we work and technically. You look ahead: where could we go, and what do we need to know to get there? And you help medior colleagues grow by seeing exactly where they're stuck, without taking the work off their hands. You give direction to the agent architecture of GenIA-L: which specialised agents are needed and how they work together. You break down legal processes and translate them into technical solutions. You decide how the components are best connected. You make sure our knowledge packages and the pipelines behind them can scale and stay up to date. A knowledge package is an expert-reviewed set of commentary, case law, legislative history and practical guidance for each article of law. You build the way we measure quality. Using evaluation sets, observability and metrics, you show that answers, source attribution and reliability are genuinely improving. Not based on gut feeling, but on evidence. You help prioritise the team's work and flag technical or process risks early. You explore new developments, test ideas in practice and turn them into proposals that make the product sharper or faster. You coach medior engineers and work directly with editors and subject-matter experts. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You have a realistic view of LLMs. You see what they can do, but you also know their weak spots. You follow new AI developments closely, but you don't just follow the herd: you stay critical and aren't afraid to say so. You can break a complex problem down into smaller pieces and keep oversight of a system with many moving parts. You take ownership, show initiative when things aren't yet clear and think from the customer's problem. You enjoy helping others move forward without taking over. And you like working with lawyers and editors, because they know what a good answer looks like. Extensive experience in software or ML engineering, around 5 years or more. Depth in recent projects counts for more than the number of years. In-depth knowledge of Python and experience with relevant machine learning libraries. You've built LLM applications and run them in production. Solid experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain, tool calling, MCP or similar orchestration. Our entire product is built around this. Experience with only a simple search-and-answer setup (RAG) isn't enough. You've made the quality of LLM systems measurable with evaluation sets and observability, and can give concrete examples. Experience with tools like MLflow and LiteLLM is a plus. Strong backend experience, including REST APIs and Postgres databases. Experience with Kubernetes. Experience in the legal, tax or another knowledge-intensive domain is a plus. WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING UP FOR On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the team works together at the office. What colleagues value most here: mutual trust, room to experiment, and a team that helps each other out when someone gets stuck. A place where you have influence from day one: on the approach, the processes, and the direction. Colleagues who deliberately chose Lefebvre Sdu over big tech jobs because here, they're building something that doesn't exist yet. Base salary between €5,500 and €6,450 per month, based on a 36-hour week, since that's full-time for us. Plus a lot of extra allowances (see below). A bonus tied to company performance: a fixed year-end bonus of 4% and profit sharing of up to 6%. 23 vacation days and a personal choice budget of 12%, of which 8% is holiday pay and 4% is freely allocable. Want more vacation? Just buy it. A bonus of up to 10% of your salary, based on company performance and individual performance. A solid pension plan through PGB, including supplementary partner insurance. Collective insurance plans. A travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometer or a public transport reimbursement, plus an attractive bike plan. For employees with a commute of less than 10 km or more than 60 km, we have an adjusted arrangement. Two days a week in the office in The Hague, within walking distance of Voorburg station. The rest of the week, wherever you work best. Room to grow: in your craft, in your role, in the organization. Want to know more? We'd love to tell you all about the team and the role. Send us your CV and you'll hear from us within 5 working days. Any questions first? Message or call Nadine on 06 28556265. A reference check and a VOG (certificate of good behaviour) are part of the selection process. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Netherlands on Arbeitnow
