Staff Product Manager, Radar - Fraud and Abuse Prevention
Full TimeOn-siteMid$178,600 - $268,000 / Year
gosqlmachine learningdata sciencedentalsales+1

About The Team Radar helps businesses prevent fraud and abuse without getting in the way of legitimate customers. We combine machine learning powered by Stripe's global network with intuitive dashboard experiences and developer APIs, to give our users comprehensive controls and insights to protect their business against threats ranging from payment fraud and card testing to bot and free trial abuse. Fraud doesn't stand still, and it isn't limited to checkout. As businesses launch new products and business models, attackers find new ways to exploit them. We obsess about understanding those attacks, identifying defenses that work, and making sophisticated fraud prevention simple for the businesses that depend on us to help them protect and grow their revenue with confidence. What you'll do As a product manager on the Radar team, you'll work directly with customers to understand the novel fraud and abuse attacks they face, identify the most important problems to solve, and turn those insights into product strategy and a roadmap. You'll work at the intersection of customers, engineering, data science, design, and commercial teams to shape what we build and bring it to market. Your work will span the fraud and abuse detection and control capabilities at the heart of Radar and the user and developer experiences that put those capabilities into our customers' hands. This role requires both urgency and taste. You'll move quickly as threats evolve, without compromising on reliability, craft, or the details that make complex products feel beautifully simple. Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of the fraud and abuse landscape. Investigate emerging attacks with customers, assess their financial and operational impact, and distinguish isolated incidents from opportunities to build broadly useful defenses. Translate findings into a product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing the defenses that deliver the greatest customer and business impact. Partner with engineering, data science, and design to explore signals, shape solutions, and rapidly turn effective defenses into scalable, reliable products. Set the pace for the team by scoping the product thoughtfully, prioritizing ruthlessly, and executing with high rigor. Work with sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to validate demand, coordinate launches, and help customers adopt and maximize the value they get from new capabilities. Own product performance, user experience, and business metrics to guide iteration and communicate progress. Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum Requirements 10+ years of Product Management experience Highly analytical, with a rigorous approach to quantitative and qualitative evidence. You're comfortable digging into data, writing SQL when needed, and defining metrics that connect product decisions to user outcomes. Scrappy and resourceful, with experience taking products from zero to one. You find ways to test ideas quickly, learn from real users, and turn early solutions into products that scale. Strong commercial and business acumen. You understand how customer problems translate into willingness to pay, adoption, and durable business value. Proven cross-functional leadership, including experience partnering with B2B sales teams on customer discovery, product positioning, and adoption. Experience shipping Dashboard and API products, with empathy for both end users and developers and an understanding of their different workflows. Comfort with substantial ambiguity. You can set direction with incomplete information, make thoughtful trade-offs, and adapt as new evidence emerges. Technical fluency to go deep with engineering and data teams on complex systems, understand constraints, and evaluate alternative approaches. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex customer problems into precise, actionable framing. An ownership mindset and a high bar for product quality. You do what it takes to solve user problems and care deeply about the details of the experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience building fraud prevention, risk, security, or ML powered products. Experience developing machine learning powered products and evaluating trade-offs between detection effectiveness and customer friction. Experience building tools for fraud analysts or risk teams, or developer products that support real-time decisions. Software engineering, data science, or similar technical experience. Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. Working remotely at Stripe A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live. Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $178,600 - $268,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. We look forward to hearing from you. At Stripe, we're looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and passion will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns. At Stripe, we welcome diverse perspectives and people who think rigorously and aren't afraid to challenge assumptions. Join us. Apply now Please find our California applicant personal information notice here. The application window will remain open for 100 days after the Job Post is published. However, this opportunity will remain open based on the needs of the business, which may cause the application window to close before or after the 100-day mark.

We're building an AI-native culture where technology and talent are unstoppable together. And we're just getting started. Join us to put AI to work for people. Job Description Position Location: This is a Flexible (Hybrid) position. Flexible positions require 2 days per week in a ServiceNow office location. We have offices in several locations, including San Francisco, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Santa Clara, CA; San Diego, CA; and Kirkland, WA Please Note: This position will include supporting our US Regulated Markets. "This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered. About The Team We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer (IC5 Level) to join our Data Platform Engineering organization. You will be a hands-on technical lead who will lead t he design and delivery of shared, multi-tenant platform services — Postgres, queueing/streaming, and key-value stores — on Kubernetes, and serves as the technical anchor for their availability, resilience, and operating model. What You Get To Do In This Role You will lead the design and delivery of shared platform services — managed Postgres, queueing/streaming, and key-value/cache — that run on Kubernetes across a large global fleet and that product teams across the company depend on, owning them from design through production operation. You will act as the technical lead on major initiatives within your team, breaking down ambiguous problems — "offer HA Postgres as a service to every cluster," "make our queueing tier survive a zone loss" — into clear, executable designs with explicit availability, durability, and cost targets. You will define the HA, failover, disaster-recovery, and multi-region architecture for the services you own, and the Kubernetes-native automation (operators, controllers, CRDs, self-service APIs) that provisions, scales, upgrades, and fails them over without human intervention. You will partner with principal and distinguished engineers to align your work with the broader platform architecture and standards, and with product teams to set consumption contracts, tenancy models, and SLOs for shared services. You will identify technical risks early and drive them to resolution, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and operability — leading failure-mode analysis, game days, and post-incident reviews for stateful systems. You will spend significant time hands-on — designing, coding, and reviewing the core systems your team builds, such as operators, controllers, infrastructure automation, and platform services. You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers and raise the engineering bar through code reviews, design feedback, and pairing — particularly around distributed-systems and data-service design. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into engineering and platform work — whether using AI-powered tooling, automating operational workflows, building agentic systems for fleet visibility and operations, or reasoning about AI's impact on how infrastructure is built and run. 12+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 8+ years with a Master's degree; OR 5+ years with a PhD; OR equivalent work experience. 8+ years building production software, with solid experience operating distributed systems and running stateful workloads on Kubernetes at scale. A track record of leading the design and delivery of at least one shared, multi-tenant infrastructure service used broadly by other teams — a relational database service (Postgres or similar), a message queue or streaming platform (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar), or a key-value/cache service (Redis/Valkey, etcd, or similar) — including its HA, failover, and operating model. Deep understanding of high availability and failure handling: replication topologies, leader election, quorum and consensus, split-brain avoidance, backup/restore and point-in-time recovery, and designing to explicit RPO/RTO and durability targets. Strong system design skills — you can reason rigorously about consistency models, partitioning and rebalancing, capacity planning, tenant isolation, and noisy-neighbor mitigation, and communicate the trade-offs clearly to engineers and stakeholders. Hands-on experience with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP), including its core compute, networking, storage, and IAM primitives. Strong working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes (including stateful primitives: StatefulSets, CSI/persistent storage, PDBs, topology spread), CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery, and infrastructure-as-code. Strong programming skills in Go (or strong systems-language skills with a willingness to work primarily in Go). It Also Helps If You Have Experience building or extending Kubernetes operators that manage stateful systems (e.g., CloudNativePG, Zalando/Crunchy Postgres operators, Strimzi, Redis/Valkey operators), and opinions on when to adopt versus build. Deep expertise in one of the target systems: Postgres internals (WAL, streaming/logical replication, vacuum, connection pooling with PgBouncer/PgCat, major-version upgrades); Kafka/NATS (partitioning, ISR/replication, exactly-once semantics, consumer scaling); or Redis/Valkey (cluster mode, persistence, eviction, hot-key handling). Experience running data services across multiple regions or clusters — cross-region replication, failover orchestration, and DR testing. Experience with zero-downtime upgrades, schema/data migrations, and fleet-wide rollouts of stateful services. Experience with observability and SLOs for stateful systems — replication lag, saturation, tail latency, error budgets — and with capacity and cost management for shared infrastructure. Experience designing multi-tenancy: quotas, isolation, chargeback/showback, and self-service provisioning APIs or CRDs. Experience with container networking (CNI) and/or service mesh, and with workload identity, mTLS, and secrets management as applied to data services. Experience with managed Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), managed data services (RDS/Aurora, Cloud SQL, MSK, ElastiCache), and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Crossplane. For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $149,800 - $262,200 , plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location. About Kernel Agents are starting to sell, buy and operate on behalf of companies. But before an agent can close a deal, qualify an account, route a lead or assess risk, it has to answer a basic question: which company is this? Today, that answer is messy, and no one answers it reliably. Business identity lives across CRMs, ERPs and third-party datasets full of duplicates, missing parent companies, stale addresses and incorrect enrichment. The cost shows up across the enterprise: sales teams miss revenue opportunities because they lack the right account context; operations teams take on avoidable exposure because risk signals are fragmented or wrong; and finance teams end up chasing, writing off, or defaulting on bad debt that should have been caught earlier. Humans have worked around that mess for years. Agents cannot. They need a reliable business identity layer they can trust. Kernel is building that layer: the business registry for agents. We issue a permanent KERN ID for every business, plus the context an agent needs to act on it. Ops, data and revenue teams at Gong, Legora, Mistral, Canva and Checkout already use Kernel on their own systems. Agents are next, and there will be far more of them. We have raised $14M from top VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack and others, and we are growing 5x YoY. The Role Help build the team that takes Kernel to $100M+ ARR . We're hiring a GTM Recruiter to own hiring across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Revenue Operations. You'll work directly with our Head of Sales, founders, and leadership team. They'll expect you to challenge a brief, know where to look, and persuade the right people to join. You'll have the room to build the recruiting function and the responsibility for making it work. The founders care about who we hire more than almost anything else. You'll be in those decisions from the start, with a GTM team that takes hiring as seriously as you do. What You'll Do Run the show. End to end. Own each search from the hiring brief to the accepted offer. You'll set the strategy, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, chase feedback, and close. Find the people who are meant to work at Kernel. Including those who haven't heard of us yet. Search competitors and adjacent markets, get to know people who aren't looking, and give them a reason to join. Build a hiring playbook that outlives you. Develop scorecards, train interviewers, and use pipeline and offer data to improve how we hire. Build a process the team can keep using as Kernel grows. Never, ever compromise on candidate experience. Keep people informed and respect their time, whether we hire them or not. A decline done properly matters as much to us as an accepted offer. Roll up your sleeves. About 10% of your time will go toward whatever else the business needs that week. We're a small team, and nothing here is beneath anyone. What We're Looking For Have 2–6 years of experience. You must have recruited before, including for GTM roles, and be ready to run your own searches. We don't offer training wheels. Your title matters less than what you've done. Know what makes GTM hiring different. You've hired AEs, SDRs, CSMs, and ideally GTM leaders. You can assess quota attainment in context, distinguish transactional from consultative selling, and judge seniority across individual contributor and leadership roles. You're AI pilled. You use AI in your recruiting work and look for ways to make it better. You're comfortable with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, Metaview, and NoonAI, and know how to find candidates who aren't actively looking. Think in systems. You look at funnel conversion, time-to-hire, offer acceptance, and sourcing results to understand what's working. When something isn't, you change the process. Bring the intensity. Kernel is intense, and we want someone who brings that same commitment to recruiting. You'll keep digging on a difficult search and go the extra mile for the right hire, alongside a team that does the same. ⚠️ This role may not be for you if you Need lots of structure or a large team to delegate sourcing to Prefer large-company environments with slow hiring cycles Don't enjoy outbound sourcing ❌ This role is definitely not for you if you Want to work remotely. This role is in our London office at least four days a week; most of the team does five. Don't enjoy the pace and intensity of an early-stage startup Have side projects or want to manage a team immediately instead of doing the recruiting yourself What We Offer We will do our best to offer you a ride of a lifetime. It will not be easy, but it will be thrilling. 💰 Salary: £60,000 – £85,000 base + equity 🗓️ 24 days holiday per year + bank holidays 🥕 £450 Monthly Office Dinner Allowance ✈️ 2 weeks work-from-anywhere 🍼 Generous parental leave policy 💼 Pension plan 💻 Top-spec equipment and central London office 🎉 Team events and dinners 🚀 Work directly with the founders to scale the systems that power enterprise AI 🏆 High-autonomy, high-trust environment with a small team shipping at pace 🎫 Visas and Relocation You must already have the right to work in the UK. Interview Process Stage 1: Introductory call with Arvin. Meet our Head of Finance & Operations to discuss Kernel, your approach to recruiting, and how you work. Stage 2: Case-based interview with Arvin and De-Vene (Talent Lead). Details to be confirmed. Stage 3: Interview with Jack and Dave. Meet our BDR Manager and Head of Sales to discuss how you work with commercial teams and assess GTM candidates. Final stage: Meet the founders. An interview with Anders and Marcus about cultural fit and values. Compensation: £60K – £85K • Offers Equity • Base Salary £60K – £85K • Offers Equity Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

More about Wayve: 🚀 Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. We are pioneering an end to end AI approach that enables vehicles to learn directly from real world experience, developing the ability to adapt, generalise and improve at scale. The result is technology that navigates complex urban environments with intelligence, precision and natural flow, unlocking meaningful advances in both safety and efficiency. We believe autonomy represents a once in a generation transformation in how people and goods move, comparable to the shift from horses to cars, and from human driven vehicles to intelligent machines. Our ambition is to make autonomy universal. Wayve's mapless and hardware agnostic AI platform integrates with global OEM partners, enabling continuous software evolution and unlocking advanced levels of automation from L2 plus through to L4 as our core AI model scales. In a race increasingly defined by intelligence and real world learning, Wayve is taking a distinct approach, building a generalisable driving intelligence that can power any vehicle, anywhere. By combining embodied AI with scalable deployment, we are creating technology that can be shaped to each OEM brand and driver experience, accelerating the transition to a safer, more intelligent future of mobility. Wayve is not a mature, fully-structured place with the playbook already written. Much of how we work is still being written, and if you join, you'll help write it. That suits people who want real ownership more than people who need a settled structure from day one. If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to spend your time on, we'd really like to hear from you. At Wayve we're committed to creating a diverse, fair and respectful culture that is inclusive of everyone based on their unique skills and perspectives, and regardless of sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding) or any other basis as protected by applicable law.
