Our mission We're making Africa the first cashless continent. In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash. We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast. Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that's where you come in... How you'll help us achieve it We're looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. You'll work on projects across the business, from building credit scoring models and improving fraud detection to optimizing field visit schedules and designing A/B tests for targeted user promotions. In this role, you'll partner with product managers and business leaders to understand the problems they're trying to solve and find practical ways to use data to improve outcomes. Our ideal candidate is product-minded, scrappy and thinks about data in terms of intuitive user behaviours rather than just inputs to a black box model. In this role you'll; Be embedded closely with our product and operations teams. Generate insights using customer, merchant and internal data using statistical modelling, data visualization, and machine learning. Design, implement and analyze optimizations for our internal operations, user promos, and agent network to help teams scale and reduce costs. Build data-driven heuristics and machine-learning models to improve user and business outcomes. Take ownership of the analytics process - from project scoping and design to communicating findings to stakeholders. Key details This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in one of our talent hub countries (US, UK, Spain, Kenya and Ghana) or in one of our operating markets in Africa including Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, or Burkina Faso. Wave provides a yearly $1,200 stipend to support coworking meetups with teammates. Remote team members are expected to travel to our operational markets (e.g. Senegal or Côte d'Ivoire) at least once a year. Exceptions apply, but we've found this key to understanding our users and product. Our salaries are competitive and are calculated using a transparent formula. For this role, depending on your level and location, we offer a salary between $130,600 - $236,200 USD, plus a generous equity package. Major benefits: Subsidized health insurance for you and your dependents and retirement contributions (both vary from country to country). 6 months of fully paid parental leave and subsidized fertility assistance. Flexible vacation, with most folks taking between 30-40 days per year. $10,000 annual charitable donation matching. Have excellent focus, prioritizing your research and work using an iterative approach (you know when a project is good enough to stop, and you rarely get lost in details). The AI Operating System for Private Capital. Capsa Private capital funds have to find potential investments, research and analyse them thoroughly, monitor them over time, drive improvements, and decide when to buy and sell. They've got to see through the marketing. They've got to outbid the competition. And they've got to learn from every deal they do. Historically, these processes have run on people, we are building the AI Operating System that will run them in the future. We're focused, ambitious, and obsessed with building a category-defining company. In the last 12 months we've grown ARR 15x, achieved product–market fit with leading multi-billion-dollar PE firms, and expanded across the US, UK, and Europe. Now we're doubling down: we've raised a large Series A from top-tier VC investors to scale the team. We're hiring hyper-talented people who want to work at the forefront of AI and revolutionise an industry. The role You'll manage the engineers across three squads (intelligence, experience and platform), own hiring and people development, and strengthen technical leadership within each team. You'll partner with the product managers in Intelligence and Experience and the squads' technical leads to translate company priorities into clear objectives, shape solutions together, and agree credible delivery plans. You'll make sure engineers contribute to understanding customer problems and exploring solutions rather than just implementing requirements. Across the three squads, you'll be accountable for engineering capability, the quality of our work, and delivery against agreed commitments. You'll make capacity, dependencies and risks visible, resolve obstacles, and work with Product and the CTO when priorities, scope or timing need to change. Alongside the squads and Product, you'll share responsibility for the outcomes the work achieves. The opportunity You'll own hiring, coaching and performance management across all three squads, developing engineers and technical leads who can make good decisions and take responsibility for their work. There's real scope to shape engineering management at Capsa, working with the CTO and Product to establish clear responsibilities and a consistent operating approach in a lean, flat structure. You'll work alongside a small, senior and high performing engineering team Meaningful equity in a company that grew ARR 15x last year What you'll achieve in the first six months Formed an evidence-based view of the codebase, delivery process and engineering capability across all three squads, and agreed the most important improvements with the CTO and Product. Made your first hiring and team-shape decisions, grounded in the capabilities and capacity each squad needs. Established regular coaching and clear expectations for your engineers, with a grounded view of who's thriving, who needs support and where the gaps are. Established clear technical ownership within each squad, with engineers taking responsibility for decisions and technical leads working effectively with Product. Helped the squads deliver meaningful improvements end to end, and assessed their impact on customers or the teams that depend on them. Put an agreed, lightweight planning and delivery rhythm into practice across the squads, making commitments, dependencies and risks visible without centralising every decision. Recent projects from the team Agent Harness: our own agent harness built on a custom, streaming-first graph execution framework Code Execution Framework: interruptible and resumable mid-execution, for programmatic tool calling Document Ingestion, Indexing, and Search: a VLM-based OCR pipeline, a self-hosted search cluster, domain-aware search strategies Citations: an end-to-end approach to reviewing supporting documentation behind AI-generated statements Document Authoring: agent tooling and a document editor supporting collaborative authoring across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email Track record Managed engineers directly for a few years; before that, a strong individual contributor at a venture-backed startup or a serious tech company You've coordinated work across teams or substantial parallel workstreams, resolving dependencies and competing demands while keeping ownership with the engineers doing the work. Hired people, developed them, and made calls about team shape as things scaled or didn't go to plan Shipped distributed systems, data pipelines, or platform services to production through a team you led Comfortable operating at pace, with incomplete information How you operate Takes responsibility for what your team ships and its effect on customers, not just internal velocity metrics Thinks carefully about the problems being solved and the decisions the team makes; uses AI to sharpen that thinking, not replace it Accepts that time is short and information is incomplete, makes progress anyway, and adjusts as more is known If this opportunity excites you We'd like to meet you. Initial conversations are direct and substantive, going deep on the work, the team, and what you'd own in the first six months. Capsa provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities. Capsa is committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. Poki is on a mission to create the ultimate online playground, bringing easy access to the best games on web to over 100 million monthly players worldwide. These games are created by a dynamic global community of 500+ game developer teams. At the core of our work lies a simple belief: play is how we learn. This Senior Product Manager role is about taking a new extension of the Poki user experience from a blank page to market, with proven early traction. What this job is about You'll own a new extension of the Poki user experience end to end, from market and audience research and pricing to product vision, roadmap, launch and iteration. You'll have full product ownership, including scope and prioritisation decisions within the agreed strategy. You'll lead a dedicated design, engineering and business team to bring the product to market fast, running fast launch and iteration cycles and working with them daily to ship and review iterations. Your week will mix talking to players and partners, market and pricing research, running your own analyses, writing specs and strategy docs, and prototyping with AI tools. You'll work closely with product leadership, data, and our business and commercial teams, and keep leadership regularly updated on progress and learnings. You'll be building something new from a blank page, with the reach of over 100 million monthly players behind you and a dedicated team from day one. The product is designed to be fun and to delight players. You'll be highly autonomous in driving the product and highly collaborative with your dedicated team and stakeholders, working iteratively and sharing progress early. We're looking for someone curious and open-minded, pragmatic, optimistic about what can be built, and a team player. If the product succeeds, you'll own a new pillar of Poki and can grow into leading the product line and the team around it. Your Challenge as a Senior Product Manager Validate the opportunity. You'll turn market, audience and pricing research into a clear product thesis and business case. Within your first 3 months, that means a validated product thesis and a research-backed pricing direction. Define success metrics and an agreed roadmap. You'll set success metrics up front and make prioritisation decisions based on impact, with an agreed roadmap and success metrics in place by month 3. Find traction. You'll iterate from early signals to a product with proven adoption and a roadmap leadership buys into. At 12 months, success means early traction against agreed targets. Decide fast with incomplete data. The work comes with high ambiguity and few existing answers, so you'll need to make decisions before the data is complete and set your own metrics. Keep a new team focused. You'll keep your dedicated team focused while the product finds its shape. You Have 6+ years of Product Management experience on web-scale consumer products used by millions. You understand consumer behaviour and scale at Poki's level. Have taken at least one product from 0 to 1, and launched and managed at least one mobile app. Taking a product to market is the core of this role, and mobile is needed for the new product's reach. Run your own analyses at an advanced level. You pull data, build models and draw conclusions independently, because a new product has no analyst queue to lean on. Are an advanced, hands-on user of AI tooling. You use it daily to research, prototype and analyse, because it's how a small team ships fast. Have proven experience in pricing and market research. You've designed research that answered a real business question, which matters because this product needs a validated audience and price point. Are an excellent, structured communicator. You create buy-in on a vision that doesn't exist yet, in writing and in the room. Have a strong sense of urgency and design for impact. You bias to action and validate early, because speed to learning decides whether 0 to 1 works. You set metrics up front and prioritise by expected impact rather than output. Bonus experience Experience with consumer subscriptions, in-app purchases or other direct monetisation models SQL proficiency Familiarity with gaming or game design Benefits We believe great work comes from feeling supported, trusted, and able to grow. How you'll help us achieve it We're looking for an experienced security engineer who's independent, excited about getting things done, and ready to hit the ground running. You will own product-level quality assurance: the system test plans, automation and compliance test execution that stand between an engineering release and a product customers can trust. In a security product, QA is not an afterthought; it is part of the evidence. Responsibilities : You will define and execute system-level test plans for FPGA-based cryptographic products: functional, performance, stress, stability and negative testing across the full stack, from hardware through firmware and drivers to cryptographic APIs. You will build and maintain the automated QA infrastructure (regression suites, hardware-in-the-loop test benches, CI integration, results dashboards), execute standards-based compliance test campaigns (NIST ACVP/CAVP test vectors, FIPS 140-3 evidence runs, CNSA 2.0 checklists and standard FPGA compliance tests) together with our verification and security engineers, run interoperability testing against protocol stacks and customer-representative configurations, own defect tracking and triage, and define the release-qualification criteria for every product release. You have built test automation in Python or similar, integrated it into CI, and worked hands-on with lab equipment and hardware-in-the-loop setups. Exposure to security or compliance testing (FIPS, Common Criteria, or telecom/industrial certification regimes) is a strong plus, as is experience testing cryptographic or networking functionality. You are rigorous, methodical and precise in documentation, because in this product your test reports become certification evidence. Fluency in English is required; French or German is an advantage. Experienced system-test/QA engineer for embedded or hardware products with strong automation skills Compliance or security test experience and meticulous documentation habits are strong advantages Preferred Qualifications: You take professional pride in being the last line of defence before a release, you like breaking things methodically so customers never do, and you enjoy the extra weight QA carries when the product is a security device. Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available. Our benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, matching 401(k), unlimited PTO and paid holidays, parental/adoption leave, legal insurance, and a home technology stipend. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided when a candidate receives an offer of employment. At IonQ, we believe in fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all while striving to identify and eliminate barriers.
