Our mission We're making Africa the first cashless continent. In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash. We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast. You have built test automation in Python or similar, integrated it into CI, and worked hands-on with lab equipment and hardware-in-the-loop setups. Exposure to security or compliance testing (FIPS, Common Criteria, or telecom/industrial certification regimes) is a strong plus, as is experience testing cryptographic or networking functionality. You are rigorous, methodical and precise in documentation, because in this product your test reports become certification evidence. Fluency in English is required; French or German is an advantage. Experienced system-test/QA engineer for embedded or hardware products with strong automation skills Compliance or security test experience and meticulous documentation habits are strong advantages Preferred Qualifications: You take professional pride in being the last line of defence before a release, you like breaking things methodically so customers never do, and you enjoy the extra weight QA carries when the product is a security device. Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available. Our benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, matching 401(k), unlimited PTO and paid holidays, parental/adoption leave, legal insurance, and a home technology stipend. Familiarity with LLM prompting and tuning of voices/transcribers; eager to experiment and iterate. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills — quick at identifying the root cause of issues. Must Have Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Strong ability to triage, prioritize, and resolve issues independently under tight deadlines. Curiosity and adaptability: you can learn customer workflows quickly and propose solutions. Self-starter mindset — comfortable working independently, with a bias toward action. Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Why join us? Join a world-class team of engineers and builders. Backed by top investors including a16z, Y Combinator, Base10, Prysm Capital and Eurazeo. Have ownership and autonomy of projects and are encouraged to ship. Comprehensive Benefits including healthcare, dental, vision coverage. Competitive salary + equity in a high-growth startup. Our Operating Principles Extreme Ownership We take full responsibility for our work, outcomes, and team success. No excuses, no blame-shifting — if something needs fixing, we own it and make it better. This means stepping up, even when it's not "your job." If a ball is dropped, we pick it up. If a customer is unhappy, we fix it. If a process is broken, we redesign it. We don't wait for someone else to solve it — we lead with accountability and expect the same from those around us. Craftsmanship Putting care and intention into every task, striving for excellence, and taking deep ownership of the quality and outcome of your work. Craftsmanship means never settling for "just fine." We sweat the details because details compound. Whether it's a product feature, an internal doc, or a sales call — we treat it as a reflection of our standards. We aim to deliver jaw-dropping customer experiences by being curious, meticulous, and proud of what we build — even when nobody's watching. We are "majos" Be friendly & have fun with your coworkers. Always be genuine & honest, but kind. "Majo" is our way of saying: be a good human. Be approachable, helpful, and warm. We're building something ambitious, and it's easier (and more fun) when we enjoy the ride together. We give feedback with kindness, challenge each other with respect, and celebrate wins together without ego. Urgency with Focus Create the highest impact in the shortest amount of time. Move fast, but in the right direction. We operate with speed because time is our most limited resource. But speed without focus is chaos. We prioritize ruthlessly, act decisively, and stay aligned. We aim for high leverage: the biggest results from the simplest, smartest actions. We're running a high-speed marathon — not a sprint with no strategy. Talent Density and Meritocracy Hire only people who can raise the average; 'exceptional performance is the passing grade.' Ability trumps seniority. We believe the best teams are built on talent density — every hire should raise the bar. We reward contribution, not titles or tenure. We give ownership to those who earn it, and we all hold each other to a high standard. A-players want to work with other A-players — that's how we win. First-Principles Thinking Strip a problem to physics-level facts, ignore industry dogma, rebuild the solution from scratch. We don't copy-paste solutions. We go back to basics, ask why things are the way they are, and rebuild from the ground up if needed. This mindset pushes us to innovate, challenge stale assumptions, and move faster than incumbents. It's how we build what others think is impossible. The personal data provided in your application and during the selection process will be processed by Happyrobot, Inc., acting as Data Controller. Forward Deployed Engineer - Mexico About the Company We're partnering with an AI-native operating system for supply chains used by wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers, and traders. The platform integrates logistics and procurement data through connections with internal and external systems, enabling predictive analytics and automated workflows that improve fill rates, reduce inventory levels, and optimize cash-to-cash cycle time. By leveraging predictive analytics and automation, the company helps large enterprises reduce costs, unlock additional revenue, and prevent under- or over-stocking across complex global supply chains. Role Overview The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is the person who makes the platform work in the real world. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, client operations, and AI implementation — and owns the technical execution of how the platform gets built into each client's environment. The FDE works directly with clients and the Implementation team, learns how each client's systems and operations actually run, and builds the integrations, automations, and AI solutions that make the platform mission-critical. This is a first-of-its-kind role at the company — the person who takes it will be defining what forward deployment looks like here. Key Responsibilities Build integrations between the platform and client systems — ERPs, WMS, TMS, data warehouses — writing real code to connect, extract, and transform data across environments Deploy alongside clients in their environment — understand how their teams actually operate, where data breaks, and what needs to be built or configured to run reliably Design, implement, and iterate on AI workflows using the company's platform — agentic flows, prompt engineering, context design, and output evaluation — tuned to each client's specific supply chain use cases Own the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of live deployments — monitor outputs, identify failure modes, and fix them without waiting to be asked Translate what you build and learn in the field into structured product feedback, technical documentation, and reusable playbooks — so the next deployment starts smarter than the last Profile We're Looking For You build things: Min. 2-4 years of hands-on engineering experience — Python, REST APIs, SQL — and a portfolio of real integrations or systems you've shipped, not just designed You operate in ambiguity: comfortable walking into a client environment without a complete spec, asking the right questions, and figuring out what needs to be built — without waiting for perfect requirements You understand data end-to-end: how it flows across systems, where it breaks, and what it takes to make it clean and reliable enough for AI to use — SQL or equivalent is second nature You have a working understanding of AI and LLMs: enough to design prompts, evaluate outputs critically, and know when a model result looks right but isn't You communicate clearly across audiences: can explain a technical integration to a VP of Operations and write clean documentation for an engineer — in both Spanish and English You own what you ship: high accountability, low ego — you track down the root cause, fix it, and make sure it doesn't happen again Based in LATAM or the US, available to work across time zones and travel to client sites when needed Nice to Have Background in supply chain, logistics, or operations — you'll understand what stockouts, fill rates, and OTIF mean without needing a glossary Experience integrating with enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar ERPs and WMS platforms Previous experience in a forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
Slingshot AI Slingshot AI is the team behind Ash, the first AI designed for mental health. Our mission is to make support more accessible and help people change their lives in the ways they want. We're building a world-class team by empowering individuals with the autonomy, flexibility, and support they need to do their best work. We dream big, iterate fast, and care deeply. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Our team spans machine learning, product, engineering, conversational design, clinical, growth, and operations, with offices in both New York City and London. We're a well-funded Series A company, having raised $93M from Andreessen Horowitz, Radical Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, plus top-tier tech investors involved in ElevenLabs, Captions, Shopify, Plaid, Notion, Canva, Twitch, Airtable, and many others. The role We're hiring a leader to help shape how we approach trust and safety at Ash, in our model and in our product. People bring deeply personal things to Ash. That creates difficult questions about how the product should behave, how we respond when something goes wrong, and how we protect people while respecting their privacy and autonomy. You'll work alongside psychologists, researchers, and machine learning engineers to develop novel systems for AI in a sensitive domain. You'll help us answer hard, ambiguous questions about our model's policy, investigate, research, develop new policies, and implement them, and communicate clearly about them to both internal and external audiences. The role combines strategy, hands-on operations, and communication. You might spend one day working through a difficult safety decision with our clinical and legal teams, the next building a process for handling user reports, and the next writing an explanation of our approach for the public. We're looking for a thoughtful generalist who learns quickly, makes things happen, and cares deeply about getting this right. What you'll do Develop our principles and policies. Work through questions where safety, privacy, user autonomy, and product usefulness pull in different directions. Research the problem, seek expert input, and make a reasoned recommendation. You'll work with our team, our advisors and experts and others to build principles for how to handle decisions. Turn ambiguous issues into clear decisions. Investigate user reports, emerging risks, and new requirements. Establish what we know, what remains uncertain, and what we should do next. Make the response work in practice. Build clear processes for triage, investigation, escalation, and follow-through. Define who does what, create the tools and documentation they need, and handle the operational details yourself. Turn learning into product improvements. Work with engineering, machine learning, clinical, and legal colleagues to translate findings into changes to Ash and the systems around it. Build, test, and improve quickly. For new systems, put a useful first version in place, learn from real cases, and refine it. Match the pace and level of review to the consequences of the decision. Write clearly, internally and externally. Produce policies, practical guidance, and public explanations of our safety approach. Help communicate our evaluations and findings, including their limitations. You'll build initiatives or benchmarks we can share with the outside world to help us and the industry at large do better. Represent our thinking. Explain and defend our approach with partners, clinicians, and other audiences. Engage seriously with criticism and bring what you learn back into the work. About you You have strong judgment. You can reason through a difficult question, weigh competing considerations, and recommend a course of action without pretending every answer is certain. You're an excellent writer and communicator. You can turn complex thinking into clear, precise prose. You enjoy doing the research and developing the argument as much as writing the final piece. You can present well and understand how to communicate what we're doing to the outside world. You've built something and made it better. It could be a product, an operational process, a program, or an independent project. You can show how you moved from an unclear problem to something people used, then improved it through feedback. You're resourceful and hands-on . You're willing to investigate individual cases, coordinate people, write the checklist, and follow up until the work is done. You seek out expertise without needing someone else to supply every answer. You know when to consult a clinician, engineer, lawyer, or researcher, and can turn their input into a practical decision. You're intellectually curious and willing to change your mind. You can explain a time when evidence challenged your assumptions and changed your approach. You handle sensitive information with care and stay thoughtful under pressure. You recognize that this role will involve handling difficult topics on a regular basis including abuse, eating disorders, suicide and death. You can handle these topics maturely and know how to manage your own mental health, seeking support for yourself as needed. You care deeply about people's mental health and the opportunity in front of us. You want more people to have access to good support, and you take responsibility for the trust that requires. You might come from product, operations, consulting, law, policy, psychology, cognitive science, or another field that has taught you to think rigorously, write well, and execute. Clinical qualifications and previous trust and safety experience are useful, but neither is required. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
