About Playson Playson builds premium casino games and platform solutions for operators worldwide. Our products reach millions of players across regulated markets, and we ship frequently - which means our certification and compliance evidence has to be as well-engineered as the games themselves. We are hiring a Software Developer, Compliance, to own that engineering: a pipeline that lets us ship faster and safer, and a defence of the platform and the games that holds up in front of a lab, an ISO assessor, and a future SOC 2 auditor. About the role You are a software developer sitting inside compliance. You will build and continuously evolve a secure compliance pipeline so we can ship games and platform changes faster and safer - and you will be the technical person who defends what we shipped when an auditor, a certification lab, or a regulator asks. The scope is not games alone. You will stand in front of game certification labs, and you will also defend the platform: ISO certification of our systems and the evidence work that leads into a future SOC 2 audit. In every case, the job is the same. You produce the proof. You walk the auditor through it. You answer the question that was asked, with the evidence that was requested, and you stop there. You will own the technical side of game certification. You take a game math package from the review channel to the lab, you produce the evidence the lab needs - build hashes, PAR sheets, configuration snapshots, version manifests - and you answer the lab's technical questions yourself, without a developer sitting next to you. When a certificate comes back, you are the person who confirms every deficiency is closed before the game is allowed past the pre-release gate. Between lab submissions, you treat the pipeline as a product. Manual evidence collection, one-off screenshots, and tribal knowledge are the things you replace. You automate controls, tighten the audit trail, and shorten the path from "ready to ship" to "ready to show an auditor" without weakening the bar. Faster and safer at the same time is the point of this role - not one at the expense of the other. What we're looking for You are a developer first. 3+ years writing production code, comfortable reading someone else's codebase and forming your own opinion about what it does. You are not a documentation coordinator who learned some technical words Strong Node.js and TypeScript. Our game math packages, engine integration, rules and bets migrations, test suites, and compliance automation are all JavaScript-side. You will read game math code and verify that what it does matches what we told the lab it does - and you will write the tooling that makes that check repeatable You know what it takes to build certified products. You have worked for an iGaming game provider, a lottery, or another business where products require certification. You understand how that shapes development, testing, and releases, and why the code and supporting evidence need to stay aligned. You build pipelines, not checklists. You have taken a manual, high-stakes process and turned it into something engineered: automated evidence, versioned artefacts, gates that fail closed You can read data and write queries. SQL against a production analytics store, log investigation, understanding a metrics pipeline well enough to tell a real control failure from a broken dashboard Composure in front of an auditor. In a lab session, an ISO assessment, or a future SOC 2 walkthrough, you answer the question that was asked with the evidence that was requested. You communicate with auditors and certification labs precisely and factually. You provide complete evidence for the question or control being assessed, avoid speculation, and escalate regulatory interpretations to the Head of Compliance You know where your authority ends. When a question moves from technical fact to regulatory interpretation or commercial consequence, you route it to the Head of Compliance instead of improvising You write clearly and permanently. Compliance evidence is read years later by people who were not in the room. Your documentation has to survive that You are comfortable saying no. You will be the person telling a squad, under release pressure, that their change does not pass the gate. That conversation needs to be calm, specific, and final Precise by temperament. You check the version number rather than remembering it. You are not bored by an audit trail Nice to have Direct dealings with a certification lab (GLI, BMM, eCOGRA, iTech Labs, or similar) or a gaming regulator Hands-on evidence work for ISO 27001, SOC 2, or an equivalent information-security audit Understanding of RNG, RTP mathematics, and how statistical certification evidence is produced Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction licensing (UKGC, MGA, and regulated EU and LatAm markets) Observability and alerting tooling - Datadog or equivalent, including building automation on top of it rather than just reading dashboards Experience with change-management controls, audit trails, and segregation-of-duties models Incident response experience, particularly where the incident had a regulatory or audit dimension What you can expect on this role A role with real authority: you hold gate sign-off, and a release does not go past you without it Genuine engineering work - you own the compliance pipeline as a product, not a pile of checklists with a technical title Direct exposure to certification labs, ISO assessors, and the path to SOC 2 - rare and portable experience Close collaboration with math, QA, platform, and SRE across games and the platform A compliance function that is being built up deliberately, with room to shape how it works What we offer Competitive Salary Quarterly Bonuses Unlimited Paid Time Off Unlimited Paid Sick Leave Remote & Flexible Working Private Medical Insurance Financial Support for Life Events Professional Development Budget International Exposure Regular Company Events *Benefits may vary depending on location and contractual agreement Join us today! About Flexport: At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That's why it's our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. We're shaping the future of a $10T industry with solutions powered by innovative technology and exceptional people. Today, companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Flexport technology to move more than $19B of merchandise across 112 countries a year. The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. Hundreds of engineers and thousands of freight operators around the world rely on Flexport's internal systems every single day to keep billions of dollars of freight moving. Keeping those systems — and the people who use them — secure is not a compliance checkbox. It's the core infrastructure for a company operating across 112 countries. The PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of Flexport's corporate environment: endpoints, identity systems, internal networks, and the SaaS estate. This is a security engineering role, not an IT support role, and not a role where you write policies and hope for the best. You'll build, automate, and be on the ground when things get real. What You'll Do Endpoint & SaaS security Own and mature our endpoint security stack (EDR) across macOS and Windows fleets , writing device policy as code — configuration profiles, remediation scripts, and enforcement rules — with staged rollout and rollback built in. Own security configuration and monitoring for Flexport's critical SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, and similar) through SSPM tooling, catching risky OAuth grants and configuration drift before they become incidents. Access management Drive Flexport's identity posture: SSO coverage, phishing-resistant MFA and passkey rollout, SCIM lifecycle automation, and least-privilege access across the SaaS and cloud estate. Lead Flexport's zero-trust journey — making sure the right people have the right access, with the right controls, verified continuously. Detection & response Build and tune detection rules in our SIEM , turning signal into actionable alerts, not noise. Lead incident response for security events: triage, contain, remediate, and write the retrospective. Vulnerability & risk management Run regular assessments of corporate endpoints and prioritize findings by real business risk. Manage vendor and third-party security reviews , working with procurement and legal to evaluate risk before it lands in our environment. Security enablement & leadership Partner with IT, Engineering, and People teams to embed security into the way we work without creating friction that drives people to workarounds. Develop and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and internal documentation that make the whole team more capable, and mentor engineers earlier in their career. Bring a point of view on how agentic AI tools and browser-based AI assistants change what corporate security needs to watch for . You Should Have Typically 5–8 years of experience in enterprise security, corporate IT security, or information security engineering — we care more about what you've built than the exact number. If you meet most of this, apply. Strong working knowledge of endpoint security tooling: DLP (Cyberhaven, Purview, Varonis, or similar) and EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar). Practical SIEM experience , writing detection logic, triaging alerts, and reducing false positive noise. Experience leading or playing a significant role in security incident response. Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Nice to Have Experience with network security in a cloud-first environment (ZTNA, SASE, DNS filtering). Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) for security configuration management. Familiarity with SCIM, OIDC, and fine-grained authorization at scale. Experience working in a high-growth, global technology company. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar, for automating detection, response, and operational tasks. Exposure to privacy regulations relevant to a European and global context (GDPR, etc.). How We Work We come to the office 3 times a week to hang out, whiteboard, and ship together. We have the latest hardware and software, including frontier AI models on day one. We're agile, but not dogmatic. Teams decide how they work best. Why This Role Is Special Broad ownership: you're not a cog in a large security org — you own the corporate security posture end to end, from endpoints to observability to incident response. Real stakes: Flexport operates in 112 countries with a global workforce. Security here matters at a genuine scale. Build, don't just operate: we want to automate and engineer our way to a stronger posture, not just run playbooks. You're part of PSI: the platform, security, and infrastructure teams work hand in hand at Flexport. We value engineering quality and treat security as infrastructure, not just policy. We sponsor visas for the right candidate. What's in it for you An opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest-growing companies, where you'll have the chance to create a global impact while being part of a thriving multinational environment. Daily catered lunches incl. vegetarian options, breakfast, snacks and soft drinks available in our office on a daily basis. Commute expenses: Flexport will cover home-office commuting costs for employees living outside of Amsterdam. 25 working days as vacation days based on full-time employment. Health insurance: Flexport offers a collective health insurance plan including a basic package and any available additional packages. Your monthly premium is fully paid by Flexport. A defined pension contribution scheme. Equity program: every team member becomes a shareholder, aligning our success with yours. As a private company in a multi-trillion dollar industry, you have a direct stake in our collective growth and success. Employee Assistance Program through Aetna Resources for Living: Flexport provides an employer-sponsored program at no cost to you and your household members. Parental leave benefit: Flexport is here to support you and your family during one of the most important times in life — the birth of a child. Our parental leave program allows both mothers and partners to take time off from work for pregnancy, childbirth, and to bond with your new child. Commitment to Equal Opportunity At Flexport, our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse, dedicated and engaged workforce. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, health status, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law. About Flexport: At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That's why it's our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. We're shaping the future of a $10T industry with solutions powered by innovative technology and exceptional people. All security disciplines work under the umbrella of the combined PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team: we build the paved path and tooling that hundreds of engineers around the world rely on every day to ship. This is not a compliance or certification role. You won't be measured on audit portfolios. You'll be measured on the guardrails you build and whether engineering teams reach for them by default. A misconfigured IAM boundary here doesn't just degrade a dashboard: it can stall a customs filing or strand a container. Flexport also runs a genuinely heterogeneous estate: hundreds of services, carrier and customs integrations, and infrastructure spanning three continents, which makes multi-account architecture and cross-border data handling real problems rather than exam questions. What You'll Do Architecture & guardrails Design and review cloud security architecture for AWS and Kubernetes: account structure, network segmentation, workload identity, and secure-by-default patterns for new services. Fix the Terraform module, not the finding — drive remediation-at-source so misconfigurations get closed at the pattern level, not one ticket at a time. Kubernetes & workload security Harden our Kubernetes platform: pod security, service mesh and network policy, secrets management, and supply-chain controls (image provenance and signing). Partner with platform engineers so new services inherit secure defaults instead of requesting them after the fact. Policy & automation Build and maintain policy-as-code and IaC scanning that block risky patterns in CI. Write real code — Go or Python, shipped through the same CI/CD the rest of engineering uses. Partnership Act as the local technical voice on cloud and infrastructure security for our Amsterdam engineering teams, and partner closely with the US-based cloud security team. You Should Have Typically 5–8 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform security engineering, including hands-on AWS and Kubernetes work — we care more about what you've built than the exact number. If you meet most of this, apply. Proficiency in at least one compiled language (Go or similar) and one scripting language (Python or similar). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar) and a GitOps delivery model — changes shipped through code review, not tickets and manual steps. Working knowledge of IAM and least-privilege design across cloud and container environments. Nice to Have Experience with cloud security posture tooling (Wiz, Orca, Prisma, or similar) as a signal source rather than an end in itself. Software supply-chain security experience (SLSA, artifact signing, provenance). Familiarity with EU data-residency and cross-border data-handling considerations. Multi-cloud experience. How We Work In Amsterdam we come to the office 3 times a week to hang out, whiteboard, and ship together. We stay closely aligned with our coworkers on other continents. We have the latest hardware and software, including frontier AI models on day one. We're agile, but not dogmatic. Teams decide how they work best. Why This Role Is Special You'll inherit a real, established estate with legacy to pave over — not a blank slate. If you want the harder, more honest version of greenfield work, this is it. This is a builder's cloud security role in a market where the comparable senior openings skew toward certification and audit work. You won't be asked to own a PCI portfolio here. You're part of PSI: security is treated as infrastructure with real engineering quality bars, not a policy function. We sponsor visas for the right candidate. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
