The role is remote located in the UK Tulip brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing. Manufacturing accounts for almost 20% of the global economy and one in every seven workers on Earth, yet remains among the least digitized. More than a decade ago, we created the category to close that gap: AI-native software that puts cutting-edge tools directly in the hands of the people on the manufacturing front lines. Because we are human-centered and tech-obsessed, we are building a future of work where human ingenuity is amplified with the latest technology. In January 2026 we became one of Boston's few new AI unicorns, reaching a $1.3B valuation. We're growing double digits in revenue year over year. Headquartered in Somerville, MA with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, and Israel, we've been consistently named a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and one of Built In Boston's "Best Places to Work." We run the way we build: AI-forward, humanistic, and high ownership. We're looking for builders who are energized by complex problems, rapid cycles, and the unique opportunity to see their impact on a global scale. About You: You are driven by new business development and have a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle for SaaS solutions in the manufacturing industry. You are commercially-minded and thrive in environments that are scaling quickly, and you're excited to contribute to building new processes. Account Executive - SMB/Mid-Market

🪐 Discover our galaxy Join the Future of Work ! Malt is Europe's leading freelance marketplace, connecting over 1,000,000 talented freelancers with 100,000+ companies. Founded in 2013, we're transforming how work gets done through our tech-powered, human-centered platform. What makes us different: A diverse team of 600 Malters across 6 European countries A culture that champions equality (50% of our Comex are women) and inclusive growth Backed by top investors including ISAI, Serena Capital, Eurazeo Growth, Goldman Sachs, and BPI A mission to give everyone the freedom to work differently Ready to help shape the future of work? Your next chapter starts here! At Malt we believe that Ambition is the Way, so all lists of missions and responsibilities are non-exhaustive. The Mission (Situation & Task) 🪐 The Situation: Malt is transforming how work gets done as Europe's leading freelance marketplace. While we have historically excelled at developing deep client relationships, we have identified a strategic, high-priority gap in our Go-To-Market engine: aggressive, net-new client acquisition. The Task: We are not hiring you to maintain a warm book of business. We are bringing you on to architect our zero-to-one acquisition strategy targeting the backbone of the German economy: German SMBs and high-growth companies (500 to 2,000 FTEs). You - as a team of 3 - will operate as the autonomous founder of your territory, designing your own outreach methodology and conquering major local players to drive our next phase of hyper-growth. Key Responsibilities (Action & Output) ✨ Pillar 1: Proactive Territory Architecture & Hunting Action: Build and execute an intelligent outbound strategy targeting 15-20 key accounts per quarter, leveraging cold outreach, marketing intelligence, and strategic network mapping (including tracking alumni who used Malt at previous employers). Output: A localized, highly qualified pipeline of net-new Mid-Market logos. Metrics of Performance: Volume of Key Stakeholder Meetings booked per month, and the strict qualification/disqualification of ~15-20 accounts per quarter. Pillar 2: Consultative Deal Leadership Action: Command the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to final negotiation using rigorous MEDDIC and SPIN frameworks to diagnose complex business challenges. Output: Executed Master Service Agreements (MSAs) secured with C-level, Tech, and HR/Procurement stakeholders. Metrics of Performance: Deal velocity (maintaining a fast, consistent sales cycle) and accurate, predictable Salesforce forecasting. Pillar 3: Revenue Activation & Orchestration Action: Seamlessly orchestrate the post-signature handover to the Account Management team, ensuring clients are strategically primed and incentivized to deploy freelancers immediately. Output: Rapid deployment of freelance talent within newly signed accounts. Metrics of Performance: Total Annual Contract Value (ACV) signed and the maximization of actual revenue generated within the first 12 months post-MSA. Requirements & The Skills Matrix 🔍 Proven Mastery: 2-3 years of AE and/or SDR experience, demonstrating autonomy and execution capability. A documented track record of conquering "Big Local Players" in the German market, rather than coasting on brand recognition from large multinational HQs. Demonstrated success selling within the Professional Services or SaaS industries (ideally both). Deep, practical fluency in SPIN and MEDDIC methodologies. Skills You Will Deploy & Develop: Mastering complex, multi-stakeholder procurement navigation (aligning HR, Tech, and Sourcing/Buying centers). Architecting digital transformation acceleration for traditional high-growth Mittelstand businesses. Advanced pipeline integrity and CRM (Salesforce) command, merging execution rigor with strategic business acumen. The Self-Selection Filter ❓ This role is perfect for you if: You possess an entrepreneurial, high-agency mindset and inherently know how to build your own strategy from the ground up. You are a pure hunter who thrives on reaching out, sparking interest in cold accounts, and converting them into massive revenue drivers. You value deep methodology, structure, and execution rigor over simply being "a good talker". This role is NOT for you if: You expect a fully built, warm book of business handed to you on day one. You require intensive, constant coaching to execute basic sales fundamentals (our leadership expects plug-and-play seniority). You lack the organizational discipline to independently manage and ruthlessly qualify a targeted list of 50 accounts every quarter. 30-60-90 Day Impact Plan (The "Result") 🏁 Day 30: Complete your onboarding week in our Paris office, deeply understanding our marketplace mechanics and culture. Output: Map your initial 50 target accounts and finalize your customized hunter strategy. Day 60: Actively qualify and disqualify target accounts while executing in-depth discovery sessions with key C-Level and HR directors. Output: Establish a predictable, Meddic-qualified pipeline within Salesforce. Day 90: Secure initial Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and orchestrate frictionless handovers to the Account Management team. Metric of Performance: Take full ownership of maximizing actual revenue realization within your first major signed accounts. How to join the mission? 🚀 First call with Niko , our Talent Acquisition Lead, to better understand your background, and aspirations and answer your questions (45 minutes) Interview with your future manager , Jean-Charles Shadili , Head of Sales SMB, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60min) Business case in order to assess your technical sales skills and pitch delivery (60min) Lastly, you will meet Jihane , MD SMB , to better understand our global vision. (30min) Life on planet Malt is the perfect space to thrive personally and professionally 💫 🤝 Onboarding: Before easing into your new role, you'll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other onboardees at our office in Paris. 💻 Remote work: Hybrid remote policy - 3 days office / 2 days home-office. 🏖️ Annual leave: 30 days/year. 📆 Sabbatical: 1 month paid sabbatical once you've been with Malt for 3 years. 📈 Stock options: Every Malter is entitled to stock options. 🍽️ Lunch vouchers: 6,50€ per day / 15 days a month. 🐶 Dog friendly office: In the heart of Munich/Berlin! ❓ Choose your Benefit: Transport reimbursement, Gym membership, Organic Food voucher or Rydes Mobility App. 📚 Free books: If you're interested in learning more about any topic relevant to Malt's business, just tell us the books you'd like to read, and we'll order them for you—without any questions asked or approval processes to follow. Ready? Get your ticket to Malt 🪐 At Malt, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We recruit based on skills, experience, and potential, without any form of discrimination related to age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or disability. Our mission is to create a work environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and safe to thrive. Your profile may be subject to background screening. About us Every company that scales lives or dies by its procurement function. It manages the vendor relationships that keep operations running, the financial guardrails that prevent overspend, and the supply chain resilience that determines whether a company survives a crisis or folds under one. And yet, the people doing this work spend 80% of their time in spreadsheets. Not because they lack ambition, because the tools haven't changed in 25 years. Pivot is building the AI operating system for procurement: enterprise-grade infrastructure that hands the manual grind to AI agents so procurement teams can do what they were actually hired to do, shape the strategic future of their companies. Our platform combines intake, approvals, vendor management, invoice matching, and ERP integrations in a single AI-native platform. We've lived this frustration firsthand. We built Pivot because we couldn't find what we needed, and because we believe procurement shouldn't be the last function to enter the AI era. It should be the first. The adventure started mid-2023 with three founders, former C-levels from fintech unicorns (Qonto, Swile, and Nuxeo) and highly experienced engineers from top-notch tech companies. We've since raised $40M in a Series B round, totaling our funding to $70M, coming from tier-1 investors. We've built a team of 70, are operating across 25+ countries , and are trusted by enterprise leaders like DoorDash, Lemonade, Wolt, and Flix We're looking for smart, execution-driven people who care about building something exceptional. Your role As an Account Executive - Enterprise, you will own the full sales cycle for our most strategic accounts on the French and Belgium market. You will target large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholders, navigate sophisticated procurement and legal processes, and close high-value, long-term deals that define Pivot's enterprise footprint in EMEA. You will join our Sales team, which currently includes a VP of Revenue, Account Executives, a Pre-Sales Engineer, and a BDR team. You will report directly to VP of Revenue. Your key responsibilities Own complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from first contact through close, managing procurement, legal, IT, and C-suite stakeholders simultaneously. Develop and execute a territory plan targeting strategic enterprise accounts across your defined region, in close coordination with the BDR team. Willing to open doors by your own methods too. Build and deliver compelling business cases, executive-level presentations, and tailored demos that articulate Pivot's value at every stage of the buying journey. Lead commercial negotiations, structure commercial agreements, and ensure favourable terms for both Pivot and clients, building win-win partnerships designed to last. Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts, surfacing upsell and cross-sell potential to grow revenue and deepen relationships. Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline: own your forecast with accuracy on a monthly and quarterly basis, and manage CRM hygiene in HubSpot. Collaborate internally: Work closely with the BDR team, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship to maximise the quality and volume of enterprise pipeline. Partner with Pre-Sales to manage technical evaluations, RFPs, and InfoSec requirements during complex sales cycles. Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term client satisfaction post-close. Your sales mindset You are a master of enterprise sales cycles: multi-threaded stakeholder management and driving consensus across large, complex organisations come naturally to you. You are a strategic thinker who approaches your territory like a business: mapping white space, prioritising high-potential accounts, and building plans to convert them methodically over time. You are confident and credible at C-suite level, able to engage procurement directors and CFOs. You are resilient and persistent: long sales cycles don't discourage you. You manage momentum, keep deals alive, and know how to re-engage accounts that have gone quiet. You are naturally curious and want to actively solve customer problems. You are commercially sharp, able to understand complex pricing structures and articulate ROI and TCO in a way that resonates with financially-driven buyers. You are a collaborative leader who uplifts those around you: sharing knowledge with BDRs, working closely with pre-sales, and contributing to a culture of high performance. You like solving problems and making complex things look simple. You always want to keep learning and you are comfortable with confronting ideas. You enjoy the cadence and want to bring the best of yourself within an early-staged startup. Requirements 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience, with a strong track record of closing enterprise-level deals. Demonstrated success selling to enterprise accounts (1,000+ employees), managing multi-stakeholder buying processes and complex procurement cycles. Experience handling deals with ACV of £100k+ and sales cycles of 6–12+ months. Native-level French, and Fluent-level English; additional languages (German, Spanish) are a strong plus. Highly organised, data-driven, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. Based in Paris; comfortable with occasional travel across EMEA. What you will get A competitive salary package plus equity (BSPCE) RTT Meal vouchers Swile 1 days of remote work per week An office at Morning Bourse in Paris The richness of a multicultural and international team (more than 15 nationalities). Comprehensive Benefits including healthcare, dental, vision coverage. Competitive salary + equity in a high-growth startup. Our Operating Principles Extreme Ownership We take full responsibility for our work, outcomes, and team success. No excuses, no blame-shifting — if something needs fixing, we own it and make it better. This means stepping up, even when it's not "your job." If a ball is dropped, we pick it up. If a customer is unhappy, we fix it. If a process is broken, we redesign it. We don't wait for someone else to solve it — we lead with accountability and expect the same from those around us. Craftsmanship Putting care and intention into every task, striving for excellence, and taking deep ownership of the quality and outcome of your work. Craftsmanship means never settling for "just fine." We sweat the details because details compound. Whether it's a product feature, an internal doc, or a sales call — we treat it as a reflection of our standards. We aim to deliver jaw-dropping customer experiences by being curious, meticulous, and proud of what we build — even when nobody's watching. We are "majos" Be friendly & have fun with your coworkers. Always be genuine & honest, but kind. "Majo" is our way of saying: be a good human. Be approachable, helpful, and warm. We're building something ambitious, and it's easier (and more fun) when we enjoy the ride together. We give feedback with kindness, challenge each other with respect, and celebrate wins together without ego. Urgency with Focus Create the highest impact in the shortest amount of time. Move fast, but in the right direction. We operate with speed because time is our most limited resource. But speed without focus is chaos. We prioritize ruthlessly, act decisively, and stay aligned. We aim for high leverage: the biggest results from the simplest, smartest actions. We're running a high-speed marathon — not a sprint with no strategy. Talent Density and Meritocracy Hire only people who can raise the average; 'exceptional performance is the passing grade.' Ability trumps seniority. We believe the best teams are built on talent density — every hire should raise the bar. We reward contribution, not titles or tenure. We give ownership to those who earn it, and we all hold each other to a high standard. A-players want to work with other A-players — that's how we win. First-Principles Thinking Strip a problem to physics-level facts, ignore industry dogma, rebuild the solution from scratch. We don't copy-paste solutions. We go back to basics, ask why things are the way they are, and rebuild from the ground up if needed. This mindset pushes us to innovate, challenge stale assumptions, and move faster than incumbents. It's how we build what others think is impossible. The personal data provided in your application and during the selection process will be processed by Happyrobot, Inc., acting as Data Controller.
