Consulting Partner in Pharma & Life Science (Strategy & Data/AI Transformation)
Full TimeOn-siteMid
gorclinicalmanufacturingprocurementsales+2

Who we are Artefact is a global data and AI consulting firm. We help organisations turn data and AI into measurable business impact across the value chain, from strategy and operating model to data platforms, AI products and marketing. More than 2,500 consultants, data scientists and engineers work for over 1,000 clients worldwide, including Samsung, L'Oréal, Orange and Sanofi. In Switzerland, our team of around 50 people works from Zurich and Lausanne with Swiss and international companies. Our work covers AI strategy and governance, data transformation and AI use cases that run in production. What you will be doing: Key responsibilities We are looking for a Partner to scale Artefact's Pharma & Life Sciences practice in Switzerland. Many global pharma, biotech and medtech companies run their headquarters, R&D, manufacturing or commercial functions from Switzerland. We already work with life sciences clients here and now want to make this practice one of the pillars of our Swiss business. This is an origination role: most of your time goes into winning new clients and expanding existing relationships. You will be based in Zurich and work with clients across Basel, Zurich and Romandie. Your role will encompass: Scaling the Swiss Life Sciences practice: its offer, its client base and its team, in coordination with Artefact's global healthcare and life sciences teams. Growing existing client relationships and winning new clients, so that the practice moves from first references to a broad portfolio. Leading senior client stakeholders (CDO/CDAO, CIO, heads of Commercial Excellence, Medical Affairs, R&D Operations, Manufacturing & Quality) through data and AI transformation. Overseeing project delivery and quality assurance on our life sciences engagements, and giving strategic support to ongoing client programmes. Sparring with the Swiss Managing Partner on practice strategy and investment. Among your responsibilities as Partner, you will: Build the practice and its offer Build on our existing life sciences work to define where data and AI create value along the pharma value chain: R&D and clinical development, regulatory and medical affairs, manufacturing and quality, supply chain, and commercial engagement. Translate this into a few Swiss offers with clear entry points, scope and pricing. Develop the client portfolio Build a go-to-market plan for Swiss life sciences, own the pipeline and write proposals that address the client's actual problem. Navigate pharma procurement: vendor qualification, framework agreements and preferred-supplier panels. Deliver to the highest standard Sponsor and oversee engagements run day to day by Engagement Managers, with multidisciplinary teams of consultants, data scientists and data/AI engineers, and ensure the quality of what we deliver. Make sure delivery meets regulatory requirements: GxP, validation of AI systems, Swiss FADP/GDPR and the EU AI Act. Be accountable for client satisfaction, project margin and team experience. Develop our knowledge base Speak and publish on AI in life sciences, for example GenAI in medical and regulatory writing, AI in clinical operations, HCP engagement, and AI governance under GxP. Turn our Swiss life sciences work into references and case studies, and bring them into Artefact's global practice. Lead and develop the team Hire and develop consultants with life sciences experience, train the wider Swiss team on the domain, and own staffing on your engagements. What we are looking for 12–15 years of experience, including 8+ years serving pharma, biotech or medtech clients at a life sciences–focused consultancy or the life sciences practice of a strategy or technology firm. A later move in-house is welcome. Currently Director, Principal or Associate Partner with a personal sales target, ready for the step to Partner. A track record of origination with life sciences clients: you can name clients you opened yourself and the revenue you sold, beyond extending existing accounts. A network among decision-makers in the Swiss life sciences industry, especially in Basel and Zurich, that you are actively growing. Working knowledge of GxP and computer system validation, and how they apply to data and AI systems. Working fluency in data and AI: you can discuss what an AI use case needs from data, what it costs and when it pays back. Fluent English. German is a strong advantage, French a plus. Based in or willing to relocate to the Zurich area, with regular travel to Basel. Why you should join us Shape what comes next: the Swiss practice has proven itself and is growing fast. It is still small enough that you shape its clients, its offers and its team. Sell with a global platform: you bring the credentials, delivery capacity and AI assets of a 2,500-person firm into every proposal, and you work with industry leads across Europe. Strategy to production under one roof: our consultants and engineers work in the same teams, so your clients get from recommendation to working solution without changing firms. Culture: innovation, collaboration and action shape how we work. Artefact Switzerland is Great Place to Work certified (2026). Entrepreneurship: you are measured on the clients, revenue and team you build. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow

AI Safety Manager
SlingshotaiLondon, Germany23 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid
machine learningclinicaltriagemental healthresearch

Slingshot AI Slingshot AI is the team behind Ash, the first AI designed for mental health. Our mission is to make support more accessible and help people change their lives in the ways they want. We're building a world-class team by empowering individuals with the autonomy, flexibility, and support they need to do their best work. We dream big, iterate fast, and care deeply. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Our team spans machine learning, product, engineering, conversational design, clinical, growth, and operations, with offices in both New York City and London. We're a well-funded Series A company, having raised $93M from Andreessen Horowitz, Radical Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, plus top-tier tech investors involved in ElevenLabs, Captions, Shopify, Plaid, Notion, Canva, Twitch, Airtable, and many others. The role We're hiring a leader to help shape how we approach trust and safety at Ash, in our model and in our product. People bring deeply personal things to Ash. That creates difficult questions about how the product should behave, how we respond when something goes wrong, and how we protect people while respecting their privacy and autonomy. You'll work alongside psychologists, researchers, and machine learning engineers to develop novel systems for AI in a sensitive domain. You'll help us answer hard, ambiguous questions about our model's policy, investigate, research, develop new policies, and implement them, and communicate clearly about them to both internal and external audiences. The role combines strategy, hands-on operations, and communication. You might spend one day working through a difficult safety decision with our clinical and legal teams, the next building a process for handling user reports, and the next writing an explanation of our approach for the public. We're looking for a thoughtful generalist who learns quickly, makes things happen, and cares deeply about getting this right. What you'll do Develop our principles and policies. Work through questions where safety, privacy, user autonomy, and product usefulness pull in different directions. Research the problem, seek expert input, and make a reasoned recommendation. You'll work with our team, our advisors and experts and others to build principles for how to handle decisions. Turn ambiguous issues into clear decisions. Investigate user reports, emerging risks, and new requirements. Establish what we know, what remains uncertain, and what we should do next. Make the response work in practice. Build clear processes for triage, investigation, escalation, and follow-through. Define who does what, create the tools and documentation they need, and handle the operational details yourself. Turn learning into product improvements. Work with engineering, machine learning, clinical, and legal colleagues to translate findings into changes to Ash and the systems around it. Build, test, and improve quickly. For new systems, put a useful first version in place, learn from real cases, and refine it. Match the pace and level of review to the consequences of the decision. Write clearly, internally and externally. Produce policies, practical guidance, and public explanations of our safety approach. Help communicate our evaluations and findings, including their limitations. You'll build initiatives or benchmarks we can share with the outside world to help us and the industry at large do better. Represent our thinking. Explain and defend our approach with partners, clinicians, and other audiences. Engage seriously with criticism and bring what you learn back into the work. About you You have strong judgment. You can reason through a difficult question, weigh competing considerations, and recommend a course of action without pretending every answer is certain. You're an excellent writer and communicator. You can turn complex thinking into clear, precise prose. You enjoy doing the research and developing the argument as much as writing the final piece. You can present well and understand how to communicate what we're doing to the outside world. You've built something and made it better. It could be a product, an operational process, a program, or an independent project. You can show how you moved from an unclear problem to something people used, then improved it through feedback. You're resourceful and hands-on . You're willing to investigate individual cases, coordinate people, write the checklist, and follow up until the work is done. You seek out expertise without needing someone else to supply every answer. You know when to consult a clinician, engineer, lawyer, or researcher, and can turn their input into a practical decision. You're intellectually curious and willing to change your mind. You can explain a time when evidence challenged your assumptions and changed your approach. You handle sensitive information with care and stay thoughtful under pressure. You recognize that this role will involve handling difficult topics on a regular basis including abuse, eating disorders, suicide and death. You can handle these topics maturely and know how to manage your own mental health, seeking support for yourself as needed. You care deeply about people's mental health and the opportunity in front of us. You want more people to have access to good support, and you take responsibility for the trust that requires. You might come from product, operations, consulting, law, policy, psychology, cognitive science, or another field that has taught you to think rigorously, write well, and execute. Clinical qualifications and previous trust and safety experience are useful, but neither is required. Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

Case Resolution Engineer
Elation Health
Elation HealthRemote (Fully Remote)24 days ago
InternshipFully RemoteMid$70,000 - $70,000 / Year
pythonjavascriptsqlclinicaltriagecad+4

Headquarters: Canada - Remote Our team is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through Elation, a SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. Since inception, we've been focused on building a delightful, world-class experience that empowers physicians to deliver phenomenal care to patients. Customer support has been the same job for twenty years: a queue, a ticket, an SLA, a closed case. That's ending, fast. Over the next 6–9 months, AI will take on more of the routine, repetitive cases at Elation. That doesn't shrink the human role — it builds on it. The work becomes product intelligence: shaping how AI handles conversations, holding the customer-trust moments that need real judgment, and turning patterns into priorities Engineering delivers. We're hiring Support Engineers to anchor that shift: people who don't just close tickets, but trace them back to the line of product code causing them, ship the fix that resolves the customer's problem immediately, and partner with senior engineers on the cases complex enough to need them. You might be the recent engineering grad who spent a summer at a busy front desk, in a popular restaurant, or on a support line because you like people as much as you like problems, and who's been quietly automating things nobody asked you to fix since your first CS class. Or, you might be the person who leads team projects, tinkers with the dashboards, automations, or workflows so automatically that colleagues assume you are an engineer even if you aren't. If that sounds like you, this role turns that problem-solving instinct into your core responsibility. As a Support Engineer, you'll bring empathy and judgment to the cases that need it most, own the quality of AI-driven solutions in your domain, and synthesize patterns that influence Product and Engineering roadmaps. We hire for judgment, taste, and curiosity, not process adherence. The bar isn't how many cases you closed; it's how much you reshaped the conditions under which cases happen. Role and Responsibilities Synthesize and share customer insights. Surface patterns from your cases in weekly and monthly reports, participate in Product and Engineering discussions with what you're learning, and mentor Support Team members on AI workflows, scripting, and SQL queries. Use Good Judgment to Solve Cases. Own customer escalations with cases that genuinely require seasoned judgment, the ones AI can't safely close. Build and protect customer trust in moments that matter. Build and own AI quality. Configure AI within Elation's stack (intents, knowledge sources, escalation rules), build lightweight external automations and scripts, and own the quality of AI outputs in your domain. What success looks like in your first 6 months Delivered solutions that reduced case volume by 10% or eliminated recurring issue categories, with measurable customer impact (e.g., CSAT, reduction in case reopens) A monthly drumbeat of synthesized insights that Product and Engineering act on, with visible impact on customer experience or a measurable drop in case volume Owns a measurable case-volume reduction in your domain by making cases not happen, not by closing them faster You question default workflows instead of just executing them, and you ship more by removing work, not just doing more of it You build with AI to make yourself and the teammates around you faster — automating triage, drafting responses, prototyping internal tools, and turning one-off builds into reusable patterns Support can run with You've picked up or sharpened a technical skill — SQL, Python, an API, a scripting language — specifically because a customer problem needed it, not because a course assigned it Mentors Associate teammates on AI builds and pattern synthesis Identified and closed gaps across internal and customer-facing documentation, improving accuracy and reducing repeat questions. Professional Qualifications 1–5+ years of experience in Engineering, data analytics, or AI/automation tinkering in any field — OR a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus real experience talking to people under pressure (support, hospitality, retail, service, resident advising) Comfortable enough with code to experiment : you've written scripts, touched an API, or built something in Python, SQL, or JavaScript — even if it was just for a class project , team project or yourself A concrete portfolio of things you've built or shipped: prompt-engineered systems, dashboards, automations, class or personal projects — with evidence of outcomes Strong customer-facing communication and trust-building skills Pattern recognition and synthesis muscle AI-native default. Reaches for AI tools first, treats ambiguity as the work rather than a blocker, and wants to learn how to configure and supervise these systems — not just use them A deep desire to drive results for our customers, with high ownership over the outcomes you own Curiosity and natural problem-solving instincts An instinct to raise the bar for the teammates around you — teaching others to build and synthesize, not just modeling it yourself Show us your work Along with your application, in a cover letter send us: 2–3 things you've built or shipped that changed a metric or outcome — a work project, a personal build, or something from school or an internship — what you made, who it was for, why you needed to do it, and what changed. A short story about a time your analysis or insight changed a decision someone else made. Salary range $70,000 - $95,000 CAD Elation welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Elation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is dedicated to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment. We are committed to equal opportunity for all employees and applicants, and value individuals with diverse perspectives including, but not limited to: race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status. Elation also complies with all applicable national, state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment as well as work authorization and employment eligibility verification requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act and IRCA. We're Heidi. We're building the future of healthcare by giving every clinician the earth's finest AI Care Partner. Our platform has absorbed the administrative chaos of 175 million patient visits and supported 67 million clinical hours. Today, we support 2.8 million patient sessions a week across 190+ countries, in 110 languages and over 200 specialties. Healthcare systems are failing us; clinicians spend more time on documentation than on patients, and the human connection that makes medicine worth practicing is eroding. Our mission is simple: double the world's capacity for care and strengthen the human connection at its heart. We found product-market fit with a freemium medical scribe that clinicians love. Now, we're expanding. Every task a clinician hands to Heidi is a patient who feels more attended to, a health system unclogged, and a clinician who gets to be a clinician again. We've grown annual recurring revenue from $1 million to $50 million in two years. To go further, we've secured US$340 million: a $100 million Series C led by Blackbird, with Phoenix Court, Point72 Private Investments and Headline, alongside a $240 million growth investment led by General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund. If you want to join us in doing work worth shipping, jump in. The role This is a commercially focused GTM Operations role supporting Heidi's UK and European markets. You'll report to the Head of GTM Operations and work closely with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Finance, as well as our central Analytics and GTM Engineering teams. Your job is to turn commercial direction into an operating model the region can actually use. When leaders agree how we should forecast, segment accounts, organise territories or manage the customer lifecycle, you'll build the models, processes, reporting and tooling that make it work day to day. Doing that well means working beyond the CRM. You'll use HubSpot, Databricks and Omni to bring together commercial and product data, pressure-test assumptions and turn what you find into better decisions and processes. This role suits someone who enjoys both sides of GTM Operations: working through commercial problems with leaders, then doing the hands-on work to make the solution stick. What you'll do Turn commercial plans into working operations. Partner with the Head of GTM Operations and regional leaders to operationalise decisions on segmentation, territories, coverage, capacity, quotas and commissions. Build the models, processes and operating cadences that allow teams to execute them consistently. Connect the full customer lifecycle. Build and improve the processes between Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, from lead management and pipeline creation through onboarding, adoption, renewal and expansion. Make ownership and handoffs clear, and ensure each team has the information it needs from the others. Strengthen commercial execution. Improve how we inspect pipeline, forecast revenue and understand customer health, retention and growth. Help embed methodologies such as MEDDIC into the way managers and teams run deals—not just the fields they complete in HubSpot—and drive adoption of the changes you introduce. Use data to support commercial decisions. Query existing datasets in Databricks, build reporting in Omni and connect CRM, product and commercial data to understand performance. Build the recurring reporting the region needs, investigate issues in more depth when required and explain what changed, why it matters and what action it suggests. Keep the GTM engine running. Maintain HubSpot and the regional GTM stack, including pipelines, routing, workflows, reporting and data quality. Resolve issues quickly and partner with central teams when something needs a global fix. What you'll need Hands-on GTM Operations experience. You've worked in GTM Operations, Revenue Operations or Sales Operations and have practical experience with core processes such as forecasting, territory and quota planning, lifecycle management and CRM workflows. We care more about the ownership and judgement you've developed than a fixed number of years. Strong commercial judgement. You can reason across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, understand the drivers of acquisition, conversion, adoption, retention and expansion, and distinguish an interesting data point from something the business should act on. Confident with data. You can write SQL, navigate a warehouse such as Databricks and work with a BI tool such as Omni. You're comfortable interrogating existing datasets, validating the output and turning the result into a clear recommendation. Experience building core warehouse models is not required. A strong, credible operator. You can take an agreed commercial approach and turn it into a workable model, process or system change. You communicate clearly, challenge assumptions with evidence, bring the right people with you and follow through until the change is adopted. A practical, tool-fluent systems thinker. You understand how process, data, tooling and team behaviour interact. You're confident in HubSpot and have worked with tools such as Clay, Gong, outbound platforms, enrichment providers and CPQ/CLM systems, or can get productive in them quickly. How we show up Build for the next decade, not next quarter . Our targets are outrageous on purpose. The world's health doesn't have the luxury of incrementalism. Lead, don't wait . We treat tomorrow's problems today. Sometimes we build what's needed before it's wanted, and we're fine with that. Follow the evidence . Trust the patient. We pursue truth relentlessly. But when the subjective and objective disagree, we treat the patient, not the numbers. Ego is a comorbidity we can't afford. Own the outcome . Everyone here carries the company. Raise problems with solutions, solve them end-to-end, and never be a bystander. Ship, measure, go again . A button today, a workflow tomorrow. More iterations beat better planning. We're precise at pace, not reckless. Live in clinicians' reality . Not the ideal workflow, the twenty-patients-before-lunch actual one. We build for exhausted humans, and we'd better be decent ones while we do it. Why Heidi? You'll join a team measured on real-world impact, not press cycles. We live and breathe the challenges of modern health systems, and are laser-focused on exacting the change we'd like to see. We're medicos, engineers, builders and designers who've felt (on every side of the equation) what non-care feels like, the moral and practical toll as a provider or receiver. Building what we're building isn't always easy. Standard tech playbooks routinely fail in healthcare, and the friction of the medical system will test your perseverance. But we didn't choose easy, we chose a purpose-driven mission that actually matters. We hold ourselves to a higher standard because healthcare demands it. If you join Heidi, you recognize that the deeper question isn't whether AI can solve the global healthcare crisis, but whose hands will shape it. True A-players progress extremely fast here. The nature of the scale-up game is demanding, but we value sustainable performance and mental health. You're trusted to perform, and you set your schedule. We operate on outcomes > inputs, not process theatre. We all take the bins out, metaphorically and literally. We take care of you. We offer health and dental cover, a £700 annual learning and development budget, a £100/month health and wellness allowance, a £500 home office budget, 26 weeks paid primary parental leave and 18 weeks paid secondary parental leave, fertility support up to £7,000, four weeks of work from anywhere per year, and serious equity.
