In just 24 months, our work has been heard, watched and loved for over 4 billion minutes worldwide. Founded by entrepreneur and investor Soheil Mirpour, we are backed by top VCs Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest and GFC, alongside world-class angels from firms such as Spotify, Blackstone and KKR. What you will do Join us as our first dedicated Data Scientist to bring order to the chaos of culture. You'll turn raw, messy data into insights to tackle the big questions: What is changing in how people find and enjoy media? Why do some bets work and others not? And where is our next opportunity? We sit on a lot of data we do not use yet, and you are the person who turns it into decisions. You work fully autonomously alongside our founder and the team, next to a backend engineer who owns the pipelines and infrastructure, so your time goes into the questions rather than the plumbing. We will walk you through exactly what we are building as you go through the process. On a typical day, your tasks may include: New data sources: finding and opening up new sources that help us make better decisions Trends and audiences: analyzing trends, audience behavior and performance to find the next growth opportunity, and proposing the next step Prediction: prototyping and deploying ML models on AWS for forecasting and content analysis, and checking whether they hold up in production Experiments: designing and reading A/B tests, holdouts and spend experiments across our products and campaigns, and telling the team where the next dollar should go Numbers people trust: owning the dashboards and reports leadership runs on, and investigating what really drives a metric when it moves AI-native workflows: using LLMs and agentic coding tools to accelerate data cleaning, analysis and reporting Who you are We look for battle-tested data scientists who understand that real impact comes from turning messy, unstructured data into business-critical insights that drive company direction. You don't just build models: you solve business problems and translate statistical findings into actions the team takes. Typically, your profile will look like this: Background: a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math or a related quantitative field Experience: 3 or more years of hands-on data science in fast-paced business environments, at Tier 1 consultancies, Big Tech, high-growth start-ups and scale-ups, or media industry leaders Python: expert-level proficiency with the standard data science and ML frameworks, and SQL as a daily tool Data acquisition: you have brought new raw data sources into use and made them reliable enough to decide on Statistical rigour: you design and read experiments properly, you know when a signal is noise, and you have run A/B tests or causal analyses that changed a decision Models in production: you have deployed models that people actually used, and you know what it takes to keep them honest over time AI-native: extensive hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and LLMs in your data workflows From data to decision: you find the opportunity in the data and propose the next step, and your dashboards and visualizations (standard libraries or Tableau) are the ones leadership trusts Collaboration: you work well across engineering, product and business teams, and colleagues would describe you as hard-working, ambitious and persistent Pace: you thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment A big plus: you're obsessed with music, video or social media What makes this exciting You are one of the first employees of an ambitious team, changing the world of media and entertainment. Being early means every decision you make shapes our trajectory. You're not a cog in the machine but the captain of your own ship, rewarded for performance and respected for leadership. Flat hierarchies mean that your voice matters, your ideas get implemented, and your impact is immediate. We pay competitive salaries and make you an owner of the business with equity. We work remotely to give you complete freedom over your life, while meeting regularly around the world for global offsites where we strategize, bond, and push boundaries together. What the process will look like We hire on a rolling basis. Earliest starting date is always ASAP. Once you begin our process, you can progress from start to offer within a week, depending on how quickly you can move through each stage: Initial interview: 30-minute introductory call, getting to know you Case interview: 90-minute case discussion, present and debate your skills Founder interview: 90-minute interview with our CEO, going deep on all topics Offer, contract signing and onboarding Note: As we are still in stealth, you will learn more about Melotech as you progress through the stages. Who we are Melotech is revolutionizing media and entertainment. We create art through technology for humans to enjoy. What you will do Everything we ship runs on data, and the systems that collect, move and store that data need an owner. As Backend Engineer for Data and Orchestration, you take a data platform that grew fast and turn it into one system the whole company can rely on. You keep it running, you keep it clean, and you make it simpler every month. This is not a pure ETL or warehouse role: you work across the pipelines and the backend services they depend on. We will walk you through exactly what we are building as you go through the process. On a typical day, your tasks may include: Data collection: keeping our external data integrations reliable as sources and APIs change Pipelines and storage: owning our event-driven pipelines end to end, from orchestration (Airflow, Dagster or similar) to databases and warehouses, built to survive failures and to keep costs in check Monitoring and reliability: building the monitoring and alerting (Datadog or similar) that keeps our services and integrations healthy, and the checks on freshness, volume, schema and values that catch a wrong number before anyone downstream notices Backend services: working on the production services and APIs our data flows through, including our JavaScript backends Infrastructure and security: owning CI/CD, infrastructure as code and cloud for our data systems, plus access and secrets: who and what can reach which system, including AI tools Simplification: consolidating what grew fast into one documented system, and removing what is no longer needed Working across the team: explaining what the data can and cannot do to non-technical colleagues, and guiding junior engineers as the team grows Who you are We are looking for an engineer who runs what they build, and builds things that keep running. You have operated real production systems in a small, fast-moving company, and people trust you with them. Typically, your profile will look like this: Experience: 3 to 10 years of hands-on engineering, most of it in small or fast-growing companies where you owned production systems yourself rather than handing them to a platform team Python and backend: advanced Python, including async code and long-running data jobs, and enough backend experience to work on production services and APIs, including basic JavaScript or TypeScript backends External data: you have kept third party data integrations reliable in production, and you know how to handle rate limits, retries and changes without notice Pipelines and storage: you have designed and run event-driven, fault-tolerant pipelines handling millions of records a day, with Airflow, Dagster or task queues, on databases such as Postgres, ClickHouse, MongoDB or Redshift, and you know what they cost to run Data reliability and monitoring: your systems report their own problems through freshness, volume, schema and value checks, and you use Datadog or an equivalent to keep services and integrations reliable, because a wrong number that nobody noticed is the outcome you design against Infrastructure and security: you are comfortable with Docker, Terraform, CI/CD and cloud, and ideally you have run an access review and set up role-based access and secrets management Ownership and communication: you have owned a messy data setup end to end at a smaller company and left it simpler, documented and maintainable; you explain trade-offs to non-technical colleagues, push back when it matters, and have guided junior engineers or led a small team Engineering fundamentals: you learned to build solid systems before AI coding tools were everywhere, and today you use them to go faster, not to replace that judgment; you ship fast, keep the codebase clean, and take the time to understand the context before you build Pace: you thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment What makes this exciting Our data systems feed everything the company does, and you own them outright. You are not maintaining someone else's legacy: you decide how these systems should work and you make them work that way. Full Stack Engineer London, 4x days per week in-office Vega is looking for a Full Stack Developer to build features end to end across our platform from Java/Spring Boot services and APIs to React and TypeScript interfaces – using AI tools as a core part of how they work and helping bring AI-powered capabilities into the product. About Vega Vega is transforming the way private markets operate. Alternative asset management is one of the most influential forces in the global economy, with over $20TN in assets today. Over the next five years, the industry is set to grow 3x, but GPs are facing challenges around their ability to handle the investment flows that are coming in. GPs have been completely underserved by innovation, particularly on the investor relations side. Vega built the industry's first AI-native operating system, where all client work gets done – from the start of an investor's journey to its end. We are rethinking how work gets done in private markets from first principles: the opportunity is big, but it's also niche, high-stakes, and difficult to get right. Who we are We are still at the beginning of our journey. Vega was founded by former investors at Elliott and KKR, and built by talent from the world's leading technology and financial services firms – including Trade Republic, Revolut, Goldman Sachs, BCG, and more. We have raised $30M so far, with the backing of Apollo, Motive Partners, and 60+ senior executives from the industry. Today, we have over $300B AUM and 30,000 users on the platform, and we have much more left to do. How we do it Vega is a fast-growing startup. We want to make this a career-accelerating place for people with the ambition to build something big. If the below sounds appealing, it could be for you: We do not seek consensus. You will be expected to voice opinions and take initiative. Vega's best people do not wait to be told what to do before finding solutions to problems they have spotted. We believe bureaucracy is the killer of progress. We are focused on creating the minimum viable process to operate with quality at speed. We prioritise talent over tenure. There is no promise of progression without performance – we assess and reward people on impact above all else. We iterate fast. We make decisions amid ambiguity and with imperfect information, and we strive to balance committing to a hypothesis with iterating at low ego. We play to win. Expectations, intensity and ambition are very high, with every single colleague contributing to Vega's success. This often will not be a 9-5. We know that this culture won't be for everyone, and we endeavour to make this clear from the beginning of the recruiting process out of respect for your time. Ask yourself whether the above sounds exciting to you in practice every day, and if it does, we would love to hear from you. Who succeeds in this role We look for people who match our ambition levels, and then raise it further. In this role, you will: Own problems from scoping through shipping and iteration, working directly with business and engineering teams to turn ideas into production features across the full stack Use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor as a core part of how you design, build, test and review software – and help shape how the team gets the most from them Work with our AI engineers to integrate AI features into the platform – wiring agents, LLM-powered workflows and MCP integrations into services and user interfaces, including streaming responses and sensible guardrails Build and maintain microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot, contributing to an open architecture that integrates the many players in the private markets ecosystem Define, develop and optimise RESTful APIs, owning the contract between front end and back end with scalability and performance in mind Work closely with designers to turn mockups into responsive, intuitive interfaces using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, and contribute to the evolution of our design system and theming Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems used by PE firms, distributors, private banks and fund administrators Identify and fix bottlenecks across the stack – from data flow and service efficiency to front-end rendering and UX Champion unit, integration and end-to-end testing, and DevOps best practices Share knowledge and support other engineers, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous learning What we look for: Proven professional software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on work across both front end and back end, ideally on fintech applications Fluency with AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as part of your everyday workflow, with sound judgement on reviewing, testing and owning AI-generated code Practical exposure to building with LLMs – e.g. calling model APIs, integrating an agent or tool-use flow, or shipping a feature on a platform such as AWS Bedrock – and an appetite to go deeper Strong backend experience with Java and Spring Boot, including designing and building microservice architectures with RESTful APIs, and proficiency with SQL and ORMs Proficiency in TypeScript, React and Tailwind CSS, with a strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first design Experience in modern cloud distributed architecture, particularly AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka Solid understanding of unit, integration and end-to-end testing, plus CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and brings high ambition to a fast-moving team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable solutions Strong communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience Why join us? You will help define the transformation of one of the most influential industries of our time with AI, working alongside an ambitious and dedicated team Competitive salary and equity package Benefits including medical insurance, gym membership, learning budget, and more Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow

You'll work directly with our CTO and engineering leads, and alongside our Talent Lead and existing contract recruiter. Your success is measured in hires made, not in activity. The opportunity Drive a live engineering hiring plan. You'll run multiple senior searches in parallel with the wider talent team, from intake to signed offer, against clear targets and dates. Source the people who aren't applying. Build target lists and boolean searches and run multi-channel outreach to reach top engineers at venture-backed startups and leading tech firms. Most of our best hires come from outbound, and that's where you'll spend most of your time. Run a tight, candidate-first process. You can show how you've built pipelines from scratch and filled hard senior roles through direct sourcing. You speak the language. You're comfortable discussing backend, distributed systems, infrastructure and AI/ML engineering with candidates and engineering leaders. You don't need to code, but you can tell a strong profile from a keyword match. Proven closer. You have a track record of landing in-demand engineers against competing offers. The London market. You have strong knowledge of the London engineering talent landscape and where great engineers sit. Tooling. Hands-on with Ashby (or a comparable ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter and AI sourcing tools. About Parloa Parloa's mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloans are shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience, one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges. It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com, HealthEquity, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer, and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale. About the role: As a Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering at Parloa, you'll be on the front lines of enterprise AI adoption — leading a high-impact team of FDEs that delivers our most strategic enterprise deployments. Your mission is to ensure our consistent deployment excellence: predictable delivery, strong engineering quality, and fast unblocking in complex enterprise environments — while staying technically credible yourself. FDEs are our in-field engineers. They build what doesn't exist yet, adapt architecture to enterprise realities, and engineer integrations across systems and APIs to make deployments successful. As a Manager, you make that work repeatable and reliable across multiple customer projects — through strong delivery leadership, clear priorities, and hands-on technical guidance. Areas of ownership: Lead and develop the team: hire, coach, and grow a team of FDEs; set clear expectations; run 1:1s, feedback cycles, and performance development. Own capacity planning and staffing: allocate engineers across parallel strategic projects, manage load and utilization, and anticipate delivery bottlenecks early. Drive project delivery management: own engineering delivery across deployments — milestones, dependencies, risk management, escalation paths, and stakeholder alignment. Establish time tracking and delivery visibility: implement lightweight tracking and reporting that creates trusted insight into effort, progress, and capacity (without bureaucracy). Provide technical leadership and escalation support: guide architecture and implementation choices, review designs/code when needed, and unblock high-severity issues in production environments. Create scalable field engineering practices: build reusable patterns, playbooks, and standards that improve reliability, maintainability, and speed across deployments. tl;dr After 14 years in construction tech, Lea & Jonas are building the AI foundation for the construction industry 6 of Europe's 20 largest construction companies already rely on Kuro, with leading construction enterprises representing over €40bn in combined annual construction volume using the platform every day Construction has some of the most complex, unstructured data you can throw at an LLM. At Kuro, you can tackle some of the hardest problems in applied AI every day Curious about the bigger engineering challenge? Explore the vision and open problems at kuro.build . About us Lea and Jonas scaled two of Europe's leading construction tech companies - Capmo and alcemy - and saw firsthand the challenges holding the industry back. Now they're tackling the root cause: the 50% of construction work still lost to manual data handling. Kuro is building the AI foundation for construction. We're reimagining how construction professionals get work done and make decisions by leveraging AI to augment back-office workflows and make core data accessible. We are not pursuing marginal improvements, but a step change for construction. After one year on the market, leading construction enterprises with a combined annual construction volume of >€40 billion use Kuro every day to automate workflows and make faster, better decisions. Backed by an €10 million seed round, we already process more than 1 million pages every month and expect that volume to grow 10x over the next six months. We are 15 people based in Berlin. You will join a group of technical ex-founders and builders who are ambitious and kind. Learn more: Join Kuro - Berlin What You'll Do Set the technical direction Own the architecture decisions for the platform, from document ingestion to the chat UI Write and review RFCs. The technical roadmap for the next two to three quarters is yours. Make the build-or-buy decisions: which models we use, and which retrieval and orchestration stack we build on. Turn a vague customer request ("show me where the bid deviates from the BoQ") into a scoped plan with the risks named. Raise the bar for the team Mentor engineers: Review their designs and their code. Define the engineering standards. Find what slows the team down, in tooling or in the CI/CD pipeline, and fix it. Interview and hire engineers. You have no direct reports. You change decisions in product and in other teams with a written argument. Build and own end-to-end (AI) features Design and implement new features to solve a specific user problem, such as document versioning or our agentic Chat. From concept to DB schema, to optimizing LLMs, to UI. Own the full development lifecycle of customer-facing features. Manage evaluations and scoring, and perform error analysis on new and shipped AI features. Build the platform that abstracts workflow building Contribute to the workflow harness, decision-trace standard, and eval tooling so a new use case ships in ~1 month Build reusable human review & approval surfaces where trust in AI output is earned Work on the construction ontology & project graph Help model and evolve canonical entities of our customers Contribute to entity resolution across sources: recognizing the same requirement, position, or price across BoQs, contracts, drawings, and bids Build features so answers are evidence-linked and auditable, and decisions flow back into the graph Contribute to scalable data pipelines & integrations Extend our multi-modal ingestion of unstructured documents - PDFs, scans, drawings, and 3D models - orchestrated and cost-efficient at scale Build read/write integrations with customer systems (document management, ERP/AVA), so workflows complete work end-to-end Projects you would be involved in Current & Past projects Project & document versioning guaranteeing data lineage in construction projects German tokenizer for construction-specific search Document pipeline ingesting 10,000s of PDFs per day Native BIM/DWG file support: ingesting and processing 3D models Design the ontology v1 + graph schema: core construction entities, evidence links, and per-customer extension model Build out our workflow harness to run agentic workflows for customers Current Tech Stack It is still day 0 for Kuro.
