As a Software Provisioning Technician UGV (m/f/d), you will be part of our production team for unmanned ground systems at our Göppingen site and will be responsible for the software deployment, configuration, and release of Mandrill UGVs and future LAND platforms. You will ensure that every vehicle is delivered with the correct, approved software configuration, playing a key role in transforming our LAND production from prototype-based manufacturing into a robust, repeatable, and scalable serial production environment. You will work hands-on with the vehicles while collaborating closely with Software/Firmware Engineering, Quality, Testing, and Production teams. In this role, you will follow approved work instructions, ensure full traceability of all activities, and actively contribute shop floor feedback to the continuous improvement of provisioning processes. What is your Day to Day Mission: Install, configure, and flash firmware and software onto control units, onboard computers, and subsystems of Mandrill UGVs in accordance with approved work instructions. Perform software and configuration verification as part of end-of-line and system testing procedures. Manage and document software versions, configuration baselines, and release statuses while ensuring complete traceability in Operations1. Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting for software and configuration issues, escalating deviations through the defined quality and deviation management process. Support the introduction of new software releases, configuration variants, and provisioning tools in close collaboration with Engineering. Actively contribute to validation builds and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) ramp-up activities related to software provisioning processes. Provide shop floor feedback to improve provisioning workflows, tooling, and automation. Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace while adhering to all relevant ESD and site-specific regulations. What you bring to the team: Completed technical vocational training, such as Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, IT Specialist, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, several years of relevant experience in software provisioning or embedded systems. Experience with flashing and configuring control units as well as working with diagnostic and configuration tools. Basic knowledge of embedded systems, CAN bus communication, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage. Confident handling of technical documentation and a highly accurate approach to digitally documenting completed work. Strong quality mindset and the willingness to stop and escalate issues when deviations occur rather than bypassing established standards. Structured, independent, and reliable working style with strong attention to detail. Open and professional communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. Good German language skills; English proficiency is advantageous for collaboration in an international environment. Why Quantum-Systems: We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with a customer-centric focus. We are industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary. Industrial Data & Solutions Engineer (gn) @ Stealth AI Venture, Berlin
Full TimeOn-siteMid
pythongosqlotmanufacturingscada+3

This is an Atlantic portfolio company. What we're building Factories run on machines that generate huge amounts of data, and almost none of it gets used. We're changing that. We build AI software that helps production engineers and operators turn machine data into answers: why a line is slowing down, what's causing scrap, and what to fix next. We're early and in stealth. Our two founders both held C-level roles at leading German robotics ventures. They have spent years bringing advanced technology onto real shop floors, and now they're hiring the founding core team. Your role & responsibility You're the person who makes our product work in the real world. You go into a plant, figure out what's actually broken, connect the data, and stay until operators use the product every day without being asked. You'll work with everyone from the machine operator to the plant manager, and with IT and OT. You own each customer from the first conversation through rollout and expansion. Berlin or home-based in Germany, with regular time in Berlin with the team. You'll spend about 20% of your time at customer sites. What you'll do Own deployments end to end: use-case definition, data onboarding, validation, rollout, training, and adoption Turn messy production problems into clear data, analytics, and solution requirements Onboard and validate machine, process, quality, and maintenance data from industrial systems Spot data problems that only make sense if you understand the machine behind them Build and validate KPIs, features, anomaly signals, calibration methods, and analytical workflows in Python and SQL, using statistics and time-series analysis Run the project with the customer and our commercial lead: plans, workshops, validation sessions, and success criteria Find the next machine, line, data source, or use case, and expand with it Bring what you learn in the field back to the product, so each deployment makes the platform better Help write the playbook for how we deliver, as the customer engineering team grows You might be a fit if you Have worked hands-on with industrial machines and production processes, in manufacturing, automation, maintenance, quality, industrial engineering, or industrial data Know your way around PLCs, SCADA, MES, historians, production databases, quality systems, or OPC UA Use Python and SQL to answer questions, not just to write code Have worked with time-series data, KPIs, anomaly detection, or root-cause analysis Communicate as well on the shop floor as in the plant manager's office Like solving hard problems in automation and process engineering Take ownership, work independently, and are comfortable when things are ambiguous Are happy to travel to customer sites and have a driver's license Speak fluent German and English A degree is optional. A Meister, Techniker, vocational training, or real-world experience counts just as much. We care about what you can do. We're open to experienced people who can lead deployments on their own, and to exceptional earlier-career people with strong industrial experience who learn fast. This is not a desk job. It's hands-on and customer-facing, and you'll spend a lot of your time where the machines are. Why now You'll be one of the first people in the company. You'll work directly with the founders and shape how we deliver to customers from day one. What you build here becomes the way we work. We'll tell you more about the company, the founders, and our backers in the first conversation. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

We work continuously, proactively watching, delivering, and questioning whether the signal is real, acting as "first responders" to surprising deviations from expectation and using what we learn to drive faster, better decision-making for the business at large. Our work spans the full stack of analytics: from the warehouse models that make metrics trustworthy, to the monitoring systems that catch problems early, to the reports and dashboards that make performance visible, to the deep-dive investigations that explain what the numbers mean and what we should do about it. We anchor our analysis to the right reference points: how performance compares to plan, to prior periods, and to what we'd expect, and we bring causal rigour when the business needs to know whether an action actually worked. The culture within the team is informal, fast-paced and entrepreneurial. Given the growth of the business and the level of senior stakeholder exposure, progression in the team can be fast. The Role Deliveroo is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join BizOps, based in our London HQ (hybrid, minimum three days per week in the office). This role is largely project-based: starting from a strategic or performance question, you'll combine data, business context, and structured problem-solving to provide the insights that drive decision-making at a global level with senior stakeholders. You will own delivery end-to-end, from the messy, ambiguous question to a rigorous, trustworthy, and actionable answer. You'll be equally comfortable building the systems that make performance visible and going deep on the investigations that explain it. One week you might diagnose why a key market has moved away from plan; the next, identify the drivers behind a change in customer or operational performance; the next, build monitoring that helps teams spot and understand emerging issues earlier. Success in this role requires building effective working relationships across Deliveroo, particularly with international markets, as well as the Data Science, Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams. What You'll Be Doing Answer the questions that matter, continuously. Maintain a rigorous view on business performance: Are we on track against our goals? What's changed? How does this compare with what we expected? What should we expect next? Then go further: Why is it happening, what matters most, and what should we do about it?" Own delivery end-to-end. Independently identify, define, and deliver impactful work aligned with business goals, operating with minimal guidance to ship fast, high-quality solutions. Navigate ambiguity. Deconstruct broad, ambiguous problem spaces into structured analytical roadmaps, and understand how your work intersects with adjacent systems and teams. Build for scale, not one-offs. Build the pipelines, models, dashboards, monitoring, and investigative tooling that make performance visible and reliable. Automate wherever possible; redoing analyses by hand is slow and error-prone. Measure impact with discipline. Design measurement strategies from simple A/B tests to quasi-experimental designs (synthetic control, difference-in-differences, event studies) when trials aren't feasible, always with conservative, assumption-explicit language. Be a first responder. Surface deviations before they become escalations, and be just as willing to give the confident "this is noise, no action needed" as the alarm. Communicate to influence. Translate complex findings into clear, simple, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences that shape roadmaps and decisions. Raise the bar. Contribute to the broader Analytics community, improve shared approaches and best practices, and help build data literacy across the business. What You'll Need to Thrive Our ideal candidate brings strong expertise in some of these areas and the curiosity to grow in others: Experience in an analytical or data science role, such as data analytics, data science, forecasting, planning, strategy analytics, or a similar discipline. Experience in logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or another fast-moving, customer-focused business is useful but not essential. Proficiency with SQL and a scripting language such as Python or R, alongside experience with BI or visualisation tooling such as Looker, Tableau, or similar. Comfortable using modern AI-assisted tools to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and reproducibility. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving: you can balance analytical rigour with speed, adapt your approach to the importance of the decision, and focus effort where it will have the greatest impact. Effective problem-solving: you can take an ambiguous question, identify the underlying problem or decision, develop hypotheses, and use data and business context to reach a clear point of view. Experience with experimentation and/or causal inference is a strong plus: the ability to unpick insights and steer strategic decisions. Excellent communication skills, in person, in writing, and in code, with the ability to translate business needs into analytical problems and complex findings into simple recommendations. Driven, hard-working, and agile. BizOps sits at the centre of a fast-growing business; we move quickly to scale at pace. London-based, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
