Senior Platform Engineer (f/m/x)
Full TimeOn-siteSenior
pythongoawsazureterraformkubernetes+7

Your role with us As Senior Platform Engineer , you own the platform that Workist's AI agents run on: two clouds, the Kubernetes clusters for production, staging and ML workloads, and the path from merge request to production for every service we ship. You decide how this platform evolves, you keep it secure, observable and cost-efficient, and you extend it as the product grows. Most recently that meant an LLM gateway with region failover in front of our Azure OpenAI deployments, and performing GPU capacity planning for our own models. You set your own roadmap. Infrastructure at Workist is run as quarterly themes that you propose, make the case for and deliver, and roughly a third of your time goes to whatever the week brings: an incident, a pentest finding, a developer whose deployment is stuck and needs a second pair of eyes. You report to our CTO and are the voice of the platform in engineering decisions. How we build and run things Everything runs on Kubernetes (Azure AKS), deployed with Helm and GitOps/Flux. All infrastructure is Terraform, applied through CI. CI/CD for every service on GitLab Managed services wherever they keep life simple: Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis, blob storage. We self-host only where it clearly pays off. Two clouds: Azure as our primary cloud, AWS for search and mail ingestion. Python everywhere: read and fix application code when that is where the fix belongs. Security is routine: automated scanning in every pipeline, regular external pentests, quarterly backup and disaster-recovery tests. Your responsibilities Own the platform Own the architecture of our cloud environments across Azure and AWS: how subscriptions, networks, identities and environments are structured and stay isolated Design and deliver the platform capabilities the product needs next, from GPU capacity and an LLM gateway to new environments Set the standard for how we run Kubernetes and our managed data services: capacity planned ahead of growth, changes and upgrades rolled out safely and routinely, costs kept in check Keep it quiet Own the security posture end to end: least-privilege access, network isolation, findings from scanners and pentests, and a patch cadence that runs itself. Be a technical counterpart for audits and security questionnaires Own observability and alerting so that every alert is worth acting on, and lead the response to platform incidents including the follow-up fixes Run quarterly backup/restore and disaster-recovery tests, and close what they reveal Make the team faster Own the path from merge request to production: fast builds, reliable deployments, environments and access on demand Build the infrastructure behind our AI models: the LLM gateway, model deployments with region failover, GPU capacity, and whatever the next model needs What this looked like recently : a Redis instance that silently dropped half of its new TCP connections and took the Celery workers down with it, region failover and load balancing for our Azure OpenAI deployments, moving our clusters from nginx ingress to the Kubernetes Gateway API. Your profile We're looking for a professional team player who thrives in an environment where we share knowledge openly and push each other to deliver the best possible outcome. What you bring: You have run production infrastructure for years , ideally as the person who owned it end to end rather than one of many in a large ops team Kubernetes and Terraform in production : cluster upgrades, Helm, GitOps, and infrastructure as code for a whole cloud estate Production experience on Azure or AWS . Most of our estate is Azure, so an AWS background works if you are willing to go deep on Azure. Active Python skills : you read and debug a Python codebase and fix the application when the application is what is broken Security as a habit : you have run patch management, handled pentest findings and designed least-privilege access, and you prioritise findings pragmatically You write clearly : runbooks, incident write-ups and architecture decisions that others can follow Fluent English (engineering runs in English, so German is not required, though it can help in some customer and vendor conversations) Our benefits & culture Worki Tower: Our office in the heart of the city over 8 floors invites you to work professionally at an ergonomic workplace and gives you space for your creativity. Our own Workist Lounge awaits you with a cozy atmosphere including coffee, drinks and a vitamin basket for short or longer creative breaks. Play table tennis, darts or Nintendo to clear your head and exchange ideas with other teams. Flexible working hours: Shape your working day with our flexible working hours. Have important appointments in the morning or evening? No problem, take advantage of work schedule flexibility. Office, Remote & Workation: You decide yourself and have the flexible choice between an office or remote from your favorite location! We give you the freedom to work 4 weeks a year from abroad. Your state-of-the-art hardware will accompany you on your way! Come-Together: Let's play together - let's celebrate together! End the working day with a cool drink in our lounge or enjoy the time with your colleagues at the summer party, Christmas party or our quarterly team events. Stay fit & healthy: Your fitness is important to us, so join our weekly RunningLunch and connect with your colleagues. Work-life balance and reduction of your stress level included. Stay mobile: Choose between Deutschlandticket Job and a JobRad allowance and be mobile throughout Berlin and/or Germany. Be social: For your heart's project or to get involved in social and volunteer work, we support you with 3 additional "Social Days". Further your education - with a personal development budget of EUR 1,000.00 per year. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

The Workday IT Operations team will report directly to this role, which reports to the Deputy Chief Information Officer. Customer Experience Engineer I/II
HarnessCanada, USA (Fully Remote)23 days ago

pythonbashnode.jsawsazuregcp+15

Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company, led by technologist and entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal (founder of AppDynamics, acquired by Cisco for $3.7B). Harness has raised approximately $570M in funding and is valued at $5.5B, backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs, Menlo Ventures, IVP, Unusual Ventures, Citi Ventures, and more. As AI accelerates code creation, the real bottleneck has shifted to everything after the code – testing, deployments, application security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization. Harness brings AI and automation to this "outer loop," helping teams ship software faster while maintaining security and governance throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle. Powered by Harness AI and the Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, the Harness Platform applies deep context and intelligent automation across the software delivery lifecycle with governance and policy-driven controls embedded throughout the platform. Over the past year, Harness powered over 185M deployments, 82M builds, 18T flag evaluations, 8M security scans, 9.1B optimized tests, 3T protected API calls, and helped manage $2.8B in cloud spend — enabling customers like United Airlines, Morningstar, and Choice Hotels to accelerate releases by up to 75%, reduce cloud costs by up to 60%, and achieve 10x DevOps efficiency. With a global team across 26 offices and 27 countries, Harness is shaping the future of AI software delivery — and we're looking for exceptional talent to help us move even faster. About the Role Join our Customer Engineering team, where you'll own complex, often ambiguous technical issues for enterprise customers, broken pipelines, deployment failures, connectivity problems, misconfigured infrastructure through to resolution, and feed what you learn back to Product and Engineering. This role works whether you're early in your career and want to get hands-on with real production systems fast, with mentorship built in or you're an experienced DevOps/SRE/platform engineer who wants direct customer impact without giving up hands-on coding. What You'll Do Own customer cases end-to-end on your team, triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution across Kubernetes, ECS, Docker, and AWS/GCP/Azure including occasional customer build engagements (~20–30% of time) where you'll shadow and co-build alongside a senior engineer. Contribute to customer-facing tooling and small product fixes alongside Product and Engineering, turning patterns from your casework into reusable diagnostics, dashboards, or bug fixes. Lead or actively participate in customer calls and screen shares, communicating findings clearly to both engineers and managers. Build internal scripts and diagnostic tools that speed up the team's casework, with growing exposure to our AI/LLM-powered internal tooling as that practice matures. Turn recurring patterns into run books, playbooks, and reusable templates for the broader team. What You Bring 2+ years in a customer-facing engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform role or equivalent depth from internships, personal projects, or open-source work. Depth and curiosity matter more than years. Hands-on with Kubernetes, ECS, and Docker, plus at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Solid grasp of CI/CD concepts and Linux/networking fundamentals. Scripting ability (Python, Node.js, Bash, or similar) and enough coding experience : coursework, projects, or professionals to read source code and make small, guided changes. Clear written and verbal communication comfortable driving a customer call and writing up findings for both engineers and managers. A fast learner, comfortable getting hands-on in unfamiliar systems. What You'll Grow Into This team gives you a runway most CXE II roles don't: Leading customer build engagements independently, as you build a track record beyond shadowing. Contributing more deeply to internal AI/LLM tooling as the practice matures. Exposure to observability tooling, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI agents/MCP, and secrets management. Work Location Remote - United States/Canada What you will have at Harness Competitive salary Comprehensive healthcare benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Flexible work schedule Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Flexible Time Off and Parental Leave Monthly, quarterly, and annual social and team building events Monthly internet reimbursement Pay transparency $100,000—$135,000 USD Harness in the news: Accelerating Our Mission to Bring AI to Everything After Code Goldman Sachs leads investment in software delivery startup Harness at $5.5 billion valuation How Harness runs 16 "startups within a startup" at scale | Jyoti Bansal Harness Research Shows AI Visibility Crisis Fueling Security Nightmare Harness has been named to the Inc. Sales Director, Enterprise Sales
RoboflowUSA (Fully Remote)23 days ago
Full TimeFully RemoteDirector$100,000 - $100,000 / Year
machine learningcomputer visioninsurancecoachingsalesenterprise sales+3

Who We Are Our mission is to make the world programmable. Sight is one of the key ways we understand the world, and soon this will be true for the software we use, too. We're building the tools, community, and resources needed to make the world programmable with artificial intelligence. Roboflow simplifies building and using computer vision models. Today, over 1M+ developers, including those from half the Fortune 100, use Roboflow's machine learning open source and hosted tools. That includes counting cells to accelerate cancer research, improving construction site safety , digitizing floor plans , preserving coral reef populations , guiding drone flight , and much more . Roboflow is supported by great customers and investors, having raised over 63 million from Y Combinator, Google Ventures, Craft Ventures, Sam Altman, Lachy Groom, amongst other leading software investors. Roboflowers love building great things with passionate teammates. We value ownership, accountability, and a bias toward action—whether it's a big initiative or a small fix. Many of us have founder mindsets and thrive in Roboflow's high-autonomy environment—some even started as side hustlers in school. The Mandate This is a frontline enterprise leadership role. You will lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives responsible for net-new logo acquisition and high-velocity expansion. Our model is Land-and-Expand. Initial use cases convert into broader platform adoption, and it is common to build toward seven-figure deals within the first 12 months of a new enterprise relationship. Your team is expected to open the door and systematically expand the footprint. What You Own 1. The Number Full team quota attainment. You manage coverage, pipeline quality, and conversion discipline with extreme ownership. Forecast accuracy. We operate with transparency. If the number misses, you own the post-mortem and the correction. 2. Pipeline Culture The Standard: Minimum 2+ net new meetings and 1+ qualified net new opportunity per rep, per week. Self-Sufficiency: Pipeline is generated by the reps, not outsourced to marketing or SDRs. Outbound discipline is enforced, inspected, and coached daily. We build pipeline; we don't wait for it. 3. Deal Quality & Inspection Rigorous Qualification: Weekly structured deal reviews. We do not tolerate "framework theater"- you are expected to surface the truth of a deal, identify gaps in real-time, and drive a credible path forward. Truth over Optimism: Deals are inspected for use case alignment, economic buyer access, and implementation feasibility. 4. Coaching & Standards Tell, Show, Observe, Feedback: You provide live deal coaching and call reviews. You don't just tell reps what to do; you show them. Methodology: We run Command of the Message–style value selling. You are expected to uphold and evolve this standard across the team. 5. Recruiting as a Discipline Talent Density: Proactive talent mapping and a continuous recruiting motion. You aren't just backfilling; you are upgrading the team over time with a clear, high-bar hiring rubric. Candidate Profile Non-Negotiables Leadership Track Record: You have led enterprise AEs and consistently hit team quota. High-Performing IC Roots: You were a top-tier individual contributor before moving into leadership. You know what excellence looks like because that was you. Outbound Grit: You have built outbound pipeline discipline yourself and can explain how to replicate it. Deal Intuition: You can run a live, unscripted deal review and improve the deal's probability of closing in real-time. Scale Experience: You have operated in the $10M–$200M ARR growth stage where structure is evolving and the pressure is constant. Strong Preferences Experience selling AI/ML, developer tools, data infrastructure, or technical platforms. Experience with $100K+ ACV and multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles. Formal training in Command of the Message or an equivalent value-based methodology. Background of flourishing within rigorous enterprise sales organizations. Why This Is a Meaningful Seat Vision AI is becoming infrastructure for the physical world. Organizations are deploying vision systems in production now. They aren't experimenting. We are early enough that the leaders here will define how this category sells and scales. This is a durable business with real customers, real deployments, and a credible path to a meaningful exit. The Interview Process We run a rigorous process because the seat demands it: Initial Conversation: Context, motivations, and standards. Deep Dive: Detailed walkthrough of your deals, hiring decisions, and operating rhythm. Challenge Interview: Present a 30/60/90-day plan and defend it under pressure. References: We triangulate beyond your provided list. What You'll Receive: The target compensation for this role is $400k OTE- this uncapped. In addition to our cash compensation, we offer generous perks and benefits. Below are some of the highlights: $4000/yr Travel Stipend to travel anywhere anytime to work alongside other Roboflowers $350/mo Productivity stipend to spend on things that make your work environment more productive, like high-speed internet at home or a co-working space $350/mo AI Tools stipend $150/mo team lunch stipend $500/one time home office stipend Cover up to 100% of your health insurance costs for you and your partner or family Equity in the company so we are all invested in the future of computer vision Equal Employment Opportunity At Roboflow, we believe great ideas come from everywhere—and everyone. We're proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
