Deep familiarity with modern automotive mechanical, electrical, and functional safety (ISO 26262) architectures and vehicle control systems. Advanced working proficiency with C/C++ and Python for test automation, diagnostic development, and system analysis. Mastery of laboratory diagnostics and prototyping equipment, including high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, DMMs, protocol analyzers, and specialized hand tools. Travel requirements : ~10% travel to vendor and Waymo manufacturing and service facilities.   The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. InternshipFully RemotePrincipal$178,640 - $178,640 / Year
pythonawsazuregcpci/cdsql+24

Who we are Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale. Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term. About the role: Samsara is building an AI/ML team inside its Operations team to make our supply chain AI native. You would be one of its first AI/ML engineers. We design connected hardware (cameras, vehicle gateways, sensors), build it with joint development manufacturing partners, and deliver it to tens of thousands of customers in industries that keep the economy running. Every link in that chain often runs on emails, flat files and manual reconciliations. We are moving our internal operations into the future with modern AI capabilities. We expect you to work across the supply chain including fulfillment, inventory, returns, cash, planning, components, suppliers and cost management. You will partner directly with Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, Sales, and the hardware, firmware and quality engineering teams. You'll design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and statistical models that optimize our global supply chain. From forecasting demand to modeling supply risk using real-time IoT signals, you'll apply cutting-edge techniques to solve complex problems with direct business impact. What makes this unique: 11 years of untapped operational data:  ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, e2open, Propel), IoT sensor streams, Salesforce, Slack, Gong call insights, and real-world hardware telemetry Own the full stack: Modeling, MLOps, deployment, monitoring—build production systems that drive real business decisions Real hardware supply chain: Complex multi-tier supplier networks, lead times, high-stakes NPI ramps Direct executive partnership: Collaborating cross-functionally with teams in Product, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance You'll shape the team's roadmap, scientific agenda, and modeling standards. Ideal for a deeply technical IC who thrives in ambiguity, thinks strategically, and enjoys end-to-end ownership. This is a remote role open to candidates residing in the US or Canada. Why this role matters: Real-world impact at massive scale: Your models will help prevent supply shortages for customers in construction, utilities, transportation, and public safety —industries that literally keep the world running. Optimize inventory for hardware deployed across 98% of US roads and 70+ billion miles driven annually. Drive sustainability initiatives by reducing waste and improving supply chain efficiency across global operations. Unique technical challenges: Build demand, inventory and cost forecasting systems for highly variable, seasonal SKUs with intermittent patterns and long lead times. Model supplier risk using real-time IoT telemetry, geopolitical signals, and market data —not just historical sales. Design cost optimization algorithms balancing inventory carrying costs, expedite fees, and revenue risk across multiple regions. Create anomaly detection systems for cellular connectivity spend and supply chain disruptions using multimodal data. A data playground unlike any other: Access to 10+ trillion data points annually from connected operations. Work with ERP data, IoT sensor streams, third-party market intelligence, and operational metrics. Build features from unique real-world signals —vehicle diagnostics, utilization patterns, failure modes. You should apply if: You are motivated by impact: Your work will drive smarter, faster, more sustainable supply chain decisions across Samsara's operations. You combine scientific rigor with real-world pragmatism: You're skilled at navigating trade-offs between model complexity, performance, and maintainability. You want to work on hard problems: You'll tackle forecasting volatility, cost optimization, anomaly detection, and more using large, noisy, high-dimensional datasets. You are a self-directed leader: You identify analytical white space, set multi-quarter plans, and mentor others through influence. You enjoy building models that matter: Your solutions will be deployed in production, drive decisions, and be regularly evaluated against business KPIs. You seed AI/ML capabilities and enable the broader organization: You establish foundations, set standards, and empower cross-functional teams to adopt data-driven decision making. In this role you will: Define the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for supply chain alongside the Senior Director of Supply Chain AI Transformation, aligning with company OKRs and executive stakeholders Design, train, validate, and deploy ML models to production (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier risk scoring, cellular spend prediction, HW cash flow), ensuring robust MLOps practices and measurable ROI Build predictive models to forecast demand, inventory, lead times, and spend across Samsara's global supply network Create novel features using large-scale ERP, IoT, and third-party datasets; build pipelines and ETL jobs to serve models and stakeholders Deliver production-grade code that supports both batch and real-time inference with MLOps best practices Act as the AI liaison to Product, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance—ensuring alignment on data requirements, integration, and change management Drive enhancements to our data infrastructure and analytics platform to support real-time model training, monitoring, and inference at scale Mentor junior scientists through code reviews and collaborative project work Act as a key scientific voice in roadmap planning, experimentation frameworks, and modeling strategy discussions Identify gaps in data, tools, and processes—and lead initiatives to close them Establish governance frameworks , documentation standards, and quality controls for model development, validation, and lifecycle management Partner with Ops management to drive adoption of AI tools, define new processes, and train supply chain teams on insights-driven workflows Champion Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally Minimum requirements for the role: Experience & Education: 8+ years in applied data science or ML, ideally in supply chain, operations research, logistics, or manufacturing Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, EE, OR, or related technical field Core ML & Technical Skills: Expert in statistical modeling and ML : time series forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection, causal inference Strong Python coding skills and fluency in SQL ; proven experience developing and deploying production ML systems Proficiency in MLOps practices : automated testing, CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, performance tracking Experience building real-time inference pipelines and managing GPU/TPU resources for training at scale Familiar with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Mindset & Collaboration: Passion for operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalable solutions Builder mindset, with a track record of taking products or systems from 0 to 1. Exceptional  problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills—able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Track record of  collaborating cross-functionally and driving adoption of data-driven solutions An ideal candidate also has: Deep Statistical Expertise: Able to design and validate experiments (A/B, multi-armed bandits) and apply Bayesian methods for uncertainty quantification. Time-Series Mastery: Proven track record building advanced forecasting models (e.g., Prophet, LSTMs, Transformer-based) for intermittent demand and seasonal patterns. Cost Optimization Mindset: Skilled in profiling ML workloads and driving down cloud/GPU spend through model compression (quantization, pruning) and serverless architectures. Cross-Region Scaling: Demonstrated ability to deploy low-latency inference across multiple geographic regions with fail-over and disaster-recovery strategies. Vendor & Open-Source Savvy: Experience evaluating and integrating third-party ML platforms and contributing to or leveraging relevant open-source projects. Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of supply chain concepts (S&OP, IBP, safety stock, EOQ), ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, E2DP, Propel), and inventory optimization theory. About the Role Samsara is seeking a high-impact, strategic seller to lead go-to-market execution for the Samsara Tracking Label — our newest supply chain visibility product — across the largest and most strategic accounts in our US Enterprise Private business. As a Specialist Seller, Enterprise Select+, you will partner with our highest-tier Enterprise Select+ Account Executives to bring near-real-time shipment visibility and cargo security to the world's largest shippers, 3PL providers, and logistics operators. You aren't selling a label. You're selling the elimination of a supply chain blind spot that costs U.S. businesses an estimated $35B a year in cargo theft and loss, at the scale of the most complex shipment networks in the world. This role sits at the top of Samsara's Enterprise motion: you will own product strategy and deal execution for Tracking Label within our highest-ACV, most strategic named accounts — architecting rollouts that start with a single pilot lane and scale to a customer's entire shipment network. About the Team This specialist team reports into a Sales Director and consists of specialist sellers aligned by segment and product. Enterprise Select+ AEs are charged with accelerating the growth of new products and are incentivized on quarterly product sales targets mapped to their regional directors. Product Specialist sellers drive growth through strategic, high-value deal execution — architecting and closing the flagship deals that prove out a new product in market, then equipping the broader Enterprise Select+ team to replicate that success at scale. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, supporting Samsara's US Enterprise Private business. You should apply if: You want to solve a real, expensive problem: Cargo theft and shipment blind spots cost U.S. businesses an estimated $35B a year. You want your pipeline to translate directly into safer, more visible supply chains for the world's largest shippers. You've sold at the top of Enterprise before: You're comfortable being the specialist in the room with a VP of Supply Chain, a Chief Supply Chain Officer, or a Head of Loss Prevention at a Fortune 500 / Global 2000 account, and you know how to build a business case that survives Procurement, Legal, and InfoSec. You're energized by "Version 1.0": The Tracking Label is a newly launched product category for Samsara. You want to be the person who writes the enterprise playbook, not just run one that already exists. You think in systems, not SKUs: You can connect a single tracking label to a customer's entire shipment network, TMS/ERP stack, and loss-prevention strategy — and you know how to sequence a pilot into a global rollout. You build genuine, high-stakes relationships: Our customers run the physical economy — logistics, manufacturing, retail distribution. They've earned trust the hard way, and they expect partners who understand their operational reality, not just their tech stack. You want to be with the best: Samsara's high-performance culture means you'll be surrounded by top performers and pushed to go further than you have before. You are a team player: In an overlay role, your success is tied to the success of the broader Enterprise Select+ account team. You lead through influence, not just authority. In this role, you will: Architect and close enterprise-scale Tracking Label deployments — from single-lane pilots to global, multi-site shipment network rollouts — across Samsara's largest US Enterprise Private accounts Partner with Enterprise Select+ Account Executives and Account Development Representatives to identify, prioritize, and penetrate whale accounts with high-value or high-theft-risk cargo Build and defend the business case — ROI, loss-prevention impact, supply chain visibility gains — that puts Tracking Label and the Agentic Shipment Center in front of CSCO, COO, Security/Loss Prevention, and other C-suite stakeholders Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise procurement (Legal, Security/InfoSec, Procurement) to close 6- and 7-figure, multi-year contracts Drive high-touch pilot strategy and success metrics that convert early adoption into a company-wide standard Partner with Product and GTM leadership to feed field insight back into the roadmap — shaping how Tracking Label evolves, not just selling what already exists Build the frameworks, playbooks, and enablement assets that let the broader Enterprise Select+ specialist team replicate your wins at scale Minimum requirements for the role: 7+ years of complex, full-cycle Enterprise sales experience, the majority spent selling into large, strategic (Enterprise Select+ / Fortune 500-caliber) accounts Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement, including multiple $750K+ ARR transactions Demonstrated success navigating 6- and 7-figure, multi-year deals involving multiple stakeholders (Legal, Procurement, InfoSec, and C-Suite) Experience selling a newly launched product or category into an existing enterprise motion, where the playbook is still being written Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence VP- and C-suite-level stakeholders Ability to travel to customer sites and executive briefings as needed An ideal candidate also has: Direct experience selling supply chain visibility, asset/freight tracking, IoT, telematics, or cargo security solutions Experience operating in a specialist/overlay model, co-selling with senior Enterprise AEs on named, whale-sized accounts Domain knowledge of logistics, 3PL, freight, manufacturing, or retail distribution operations Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks A track record of helping shape product roadmap and go-to-market motion for a nascent product line Annual on-target earnings (OTE) for full-time employees for this position is below. Tens of thousands of the world's best companies run on Brex, including DoorDash, Coinbase, Robinhood, Zoom, Plaid, Reddit, and SeatGeek. Working at Brex allows you to push your limits, challenge the status quo, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. We're committed to building a diverse team and inclusive culture and believe your potential should only be limited by how big you can dream. We make this a reality by empowering you with the tools, resources, and support you need to grow your career. Operations Operations is the backbone of Brex's mission to power businesses through our Intelligent Finance Platform. We own credit, fraud, money movement, and payments, protecting our customers and our company. From product operations that ensure flawless launches to scalable systems that drive innovation and precision, we operate at the intersection of product, design, engineering, and customer success. If you want to work at the heart of the business, Operations is where you belong. What You'll Do Account Servicing owns what happens to a Brex account after it's live: money applied against statement balances, billing terms changed, auto-pay kept working, points debited and granted, credit performance reported to the bureaus, and accounts closed cleanly.  We're hiring a manager to run that portfolio. You'll inherit a team with deep subject-matter expertise in specific queues, a set of in-flight migrations from other teams, and a real automation opportunity across the highest-volume work. The mandate is to hold the SLA and accuracy bar while systematically shrinking the manual surface area in a quickly growing environment. Payment application and wires. Wires applied against statement balances, including unmatched, partial, and misapplied payments. Support the expansion of wire coverage as we open up new corridors and use cases. Statement adjustments. Refunds and offline collections (manual balance adjustments), with the controls that keep adjustment accuracy high and every entry defensible in an audit. Billing changes. Due date changes, billing frequency changes, payment extensions, and grace period requests in close partnership with GTM, Credit, and Deal Desk teams. Auto-pay management. Manual pay exceptions, penny-pull (micro-deposit) verifications, and funding source changes. Vendor onboarding. Getting Brex set up correctly as a payee inside customers' third-party AP and procurement portals so invoices route, approve, and pay on time. Credit reporting. The monthly bureau submissions, plus end-to-end disputes management at the accuracy and timeliness standard regulation requires. Account closures. Customer-initiated, legal, and Terms-of-Service closures, including final balance settlement and rewards true-up. This is a newly transitioned part of the portfolio and will have operational process development needs from day 1. Points debits and rewards grants. Points debiting, merchant categorization changes, audits and true-ups, and non-automated partner referral grants. Automation and migration. Partner with Product and Engineering to cut average handle time and retire manual queues. Where you'll work This role will be based in our Salt Lake City office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work! Responsibilities: Coach, and develop a team of servicing specialists. Where a queue currently depends on one person's expertise, build redundancy so it doesn't. Set and defend SLAs, quality bars, and capacity models across workflows that behave very differently from one another. Define your own operational reporting cadences and measures to make staffing and prioritization decisions. Write and maintain the SOPs, QA sampling, and maker-checker controls that keep financial adjustments accurate and auditable. Be the escalation path for high-dollar, time-critical, and legally sensitive cases, working directly with Legal, Compliance, Collections, Treasury, Finance, Deal Desk, and CX. Own the automation roadmap for the team: find the candidates, quantify the case, spec the requirements, validate the before-and-after, and hold the line on the edge cases that automation tends to break on. Requirements 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations, including 2+ years managing people directly; hiring, performance management, and development. Hands-on ownership of a servicing, billing, payment, or credit operations queue where errors move real money, plus the controls experience that comes with it: reconciliation, QA sampling, maker-checker review, audit trails. A track record of process improvement you can quantify. You've taken a manual, high-touch workflow and measurably reduced handle time, backlog, or error rate. Experience being the operational counterpart to Product and Engineering: writing requirements, aligning on priority, testing builds, and catching what the spec missed. Data fluency. You can pull, build, and defend your own numbers in SQL, spreadsheets, or BI tooling. Sound judgment under ambiguity and the discipline to escalate the right things. This team handles legal closures, bureau disputes, and balance adjustments where the wrong call has financial or regulatory consequences. Strong written communication. SOPs, escalation summaries, and cross-functional updates are a meaningful share of the work. A well-defined point of view on where AI can and should be applied in scaled operations Bonus points Direct credit bureau furnisher experience: Metro 2 reporting, e-OSCAR, FCRA dispute handling, or data quality remediation. Commercial card, charge card, or business lending servicing background, as distinct from consumer. Working knowledge of wire and ACH (push and pull) mechanics, exception handling, return codes, micro-deposit verification, misapplied payment research. Rewards or loyalty operations experience, especially points liability, audits, true-ups, and clawbacks. THE OPPORTUNITY: At Salesloft, our Senior Commercial Counsel will be a critical member of our lean, high-impact Legal team. This is a dual-mandate role: you'll start by leading a heavy lift on maturing our privacy program, then shift focus toward commercial deal work as volume ramps into quarter-end. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the following: Lead and mature the company's privacy program — policies, process, and cross-functional education — partnering closely with our General Counsel and during ramp-up to bring the program to current standard. Review, negotiate, and manage to close a variety of complex commercial agreements, including sales contracts, inbound procurement engagements with vendors, master services agreements, DPAs, AI Addendums, NDAs, Statements of Work, and Order Forms. Identify contractual and privacy-related risks and recommend practical, business-minded solutions. Analyze and advise on issues related to AI, technology development, SaaS licensing, strategic sourcing, software integrations, partnerships, and general commercial contracting. Work cross-functionally with Deal Desk, Sales, Procurement, Product, and Finance to ensure contractual terms are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company policy and risk standards — especially around end-of-quarter deal velocity. Flex into adjacent legal matters as needed, including employment questions and legal operations support, as part of a small, high-trust team where versatility matters as much as depth. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 5-7+ years of experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing, and commercial contracts — including master subscription agreements, DPAs, AI documentation, NDAs, and vendor contracts — with meaningful hands-on privacy program experience (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, data mapping, privacy-by-design). J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in a United States bar, Background in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology companies strongly preferred, with the adaptable, self-directed mindset common among counsel who've grown up in fast-moving tech environments. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, negotiation, and drafting skills, including experience negotiating complex IP and data privacy terms with enterprise customers. Excellent legal and business judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple matters and priorities simultaneously. Detail-oriented, resourceful, and energized by end-to-end ownership rather than narrow scope. Experience working with enterprise-level Sales teams to meet end-of-quarter deadlines. Experience with cloud-based business models and the contracting paradigms that support them. COMPENSATION: Base salary range: $210,000 – $220,000, plus equity and benefits. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location, and is disclosed here in accordance with state pay transparency requirements.
