Location: London (Hybrid — Tuesday to Thursday in the office) Department: Sales Reporting to: Director of Cloud Sales ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD: NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature. We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure. We practice what we preach, equipping our people with AI at every level so we can solve harder problems, ship faster, and keep raising the bar for what enterprise GPU infrastructure looks like. THE ROLE: Senior Business Development Manager – Vertical Markets Hyperstack already runs production GPU capacity at scale for AI start-ups, AI service providers and enterprise AI teams. This role exists to extend that position into compute-intensive, regulated and specialist industries — financial services, healthcare and life sciences, robotics and autonomous systems, computer vision and industrial AI — where compute budgets are already committed and infrastructure partners are being chosen now. You'll own a named vertical end to end: the demand thesis, the target account map, the outbound motion, and every deal through to signature. This is a full-cycle role with real ownership, not a top-of-funnel handoff — you'll become the recognised commercial authority for your vertical inside NexGen, and a credible presence in that industry externally. Role positioning: this is a role for a senior seller who already holds trust in a compute-intensive industry and wants full ownership of turning that trust into a book of business — the strategy, the pipeline and the close. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like: Own a named vertical end to end — build the demand thesis, size the addressable market, and turn it into a prioritised target account map Self-source the majority of your own pipeline and reach the people who decide compute budget: CIO, CTO, Chief Data or AI Officer, and the procurement and risk functions that gate them Lead technical discovery to a real specification, then own the full cycle to signature — commercial proposal, security review, procurement, legal and MSA negotiation Structure multi-year committed reservations and on-demand entry points, and keep a forecast the business can plan capacity against Build Hyperstack's presence in your vertical — industry events, analyst and partner relationships, reference customers and case studies Feed vertical requirements into Product, Capacity and Marketing with enough specificity to change decisions, then follow through until they land Act as the internal reference point for your vertical — brief the wider Sales team and raise the technical floor around you ABOUT YOU: We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following: Essential 8+ years in business development, enterprise sales or solution sales, including at least 3 years carrying a new business number in complex enterprise environments A demonstrable record of opening net-new enterprise logos from a standing start — self-sourced, not inherited and not renewal-led Deep credibility in at least one compute-intensive vertical — financial services, healthcare and life sciences, robotics and autonomous systems, computer vision and industrial AI, media and entertainment, or engineering and simulation — including an active network at buying level Substantive infrastructure fluency (cloud, IaaS, HPC, data centre, GPU or AI compute), or a proven history of learning a technical domain to the point of holding your own with engineers Evidence of closing complex deals through procurement, security review and legal, with contract values and cycle lengths you can talk to in detail Nice to Have Experience at a neo-cloud, GPU-as-a-Service platform, hyperscaler or HPC infrastructure vendor Prior ownership of a vertical or industry go-to-market as a named remit Familiarity with regulated buying environments — data residency and sovereignty, isolation requirements, and the security and compliance reviews that come with them Experience selling committed capacity or reservation-style contracts rather than pure consumption Formal sales methodology — MEDDPICC, Command of the Message or equivalent WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and accelerators above target, plus equity participation Private Medical Insurance Employee wellbeing benefits 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays Hybrid working, with Tuesday to Thursday in the London office Real ownership of a named vertical, with the trust to build and run it as your own A clear route to principal-level individual contribution or vertical leadership as your vertical scales A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues MORE INFORMATION Head over to our NexGen Cloud careers page to view current openings and follow us on LinkedIn and X to learn more about our journey, newest releases and hear exciting news in the neocloud space. Legal AI Counsel (Berlin or Leipzig)
Full TimeOn-siteMid
restconcretecontract reviewcoachingsalesonboarding

Description Legartis is on a mission: to unlock legal work at scale. We set the standard for AI-powered contract review. Today we build a holistic platform that changes how legal teams operate from review to negotiation, powered by our Legal Agent. We are looking for the person who makes that value real for customers: in the demo, in onboarding, and inside the AI itself. When you join Legartis, you don't just take a job, you take ownership. We are a team of product builders and legal experts. We don't chase hype; we build substance. Your mission This is not a classic legal role, and not a classic sales or product role. You operate at the intersection of Law, Revenue, and AI, where you are a lever, not a bottleneck: your job is to build the demos, playbooks, and standards that let the whole company scale, and to step into the calls where your expertise closes the gap. 1. Commercial impact. You help win and grow customers. You build and run demos that create a "wow" moment, join high-stakes prospect calls as the legal expert who speaks at eye level with GCs, and run our trials and workshops: onboarding sessions where customers solve their own use cases live, with you coaching. You turn objections into use cases and interest into next steps, and you enable our Sales team to tell the legal story without you in the room. You think of outcomes in terms of trial-to-signature conversion, adoption, expansion. 2. Customer transformation. Once a deal is signed, you make the value real by acting as a strategic sparring partner in onboarding: defining review requirements, tuning playbooks and prompts, and showing legal teams where Legartis delivers the highest ROI. You turn individual learnings into scalable standards and documentation. 3. Making the AI better. You work hands-on with the Legal Agent: prompting, testing, diagnosing where it breaks and why. You feed what you learn from customers back into Product and Engineering (playbook quality, test sets, edge cases) so the product improves with every customer. 4. Internal legal support. You don't just sell the tool; you use it. When necessary, you support Legartis as in-house counsel on contract reviews and specific legal questions. Your profile We are honest: people who combine all of this are rare. We hire for aptitude and attitude, assess hands-on in a case study, and train the rest side by side, in real customer work. 1. You can sell the product (key). Not in the cold-calling sense, but in the way a great expert sells: by making the customer succeed in front of their own team. Concretely, this means you can (or want to learn to): Run a live demo with confidence including customized, high-stakes demos and recover gracefully when something doesn't land: pull out a better prompt, adjust on the spot, turn a skeptical question into a stronger result. Coach the customer hands-on. In trials and hackathons, the customer drives and you navigate: you get them to enter their own real legal questions, create the first "wow" moment themselves, and build the habits (saved prompts, reusable workflows) that make them stay. Turn objections into use cases. When a customer says "that won't work for us" or "we'll build it ourselves," you respond with a concrete path: a workaround, a workflow, the honest maintenance cost of the alternative. You're straight about limits, because credibility is what closes. Speak at eye level with GCs and legal teams asking sharp discovery questions, translating their friction points into what the product can do, and framing value in their language (ROI, risk, time saved). Always leave with a next step. Trial licenses, a hackathon, a follow-up workshop, a scoped rollout conversation. You instinctively convert interest into momentum, and you remove friction ("we can make that happen") rather than adding process. Ideally you can point to moments where you influenced a deal, a renewal, or an expansion in any prior role. 2. Legal foundation. Solid legal training and hands-on experience with commercial contracts from in-house, law firm, or legal tech. You understand the "why" behind a clause and can teach that logic to an AI and to a customer. A German 2. Staatsexamen is welcome but not required : we explicitly encourage candidates with qualifications from other jurisdictions or non-traditional paths (e.g. law + IT). 3. Hands-on AI builder. You have spent serious time with LLMs, not as a spectator, but pushing them to their limits. You see prompting and evaluation as a craft and enjoy figuring out where AI systems break and how to fix them. 4. Ownership & communication. You can point to things you built, launched, or drove. You are structured enough to run projects with multiple stakeholders, and precise enough to know that a sharp prompt beats a thousand vague instructions. Excellent German and English; other languages are a plus. Why us? Impact over hype. You define a new discipline at the intersection of law, revenue, and AI. Your work directly shapes how thousands of legal professionals will operate. Leverage, not grind. You build the standards, playbooks, and demos that multiply your expertise across the whole company. We invest in you. Structured training on the Legal Agent, side-by-side customer calls, and a clear growth path — we build the capability the market doesn't have yet. True ownership. Competitive salary and employee stock options (ESOP). Offices in Berlin, Leipzig, and Zurich with a flexible hybrid setup, plus apéros, lunches, and hiking trips. Process Get to know each other: a chat with our People & Operations Manager. Deep dive with our General Counsel & Head of Legal AI into Legal Engineering at Legartis. Case study: real tasks at the crossroads of legal thinking, AI prompting, and making the commercial case to a customer . Meet the team in our Berlin or Leipzig office. Mutual decision, and we welcome you on board. Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
