Headquarters: San Francisco, CA / Seattle, WA / Denver, CO / Remote The Team + The Role Pendo's Customer Engineering team is the technical backbone of the pre- and post-sales customer motion. The team brings together work that has historically sat across Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Solutions Engineering into one full-lifecycle technical owner. Customer Engineering helps customers connect technical execution to business outcomes and realize the value of their investment in Pendo. As a Senior Customer Engineer, you own strategic and complex Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You lead technical strategy for complex deployments, resolve ambiguous customer challenges, and partner closely with account teams to drive retention, expansion, and customer value. Your impact extends beyond your own accounts through playbooks, coaching, repeatable fixes, and workflow improvements that raise the capability of the broader Customer Engineering team. This is a remote role supporting a West Coast territory. What this looks like day-to-day New customer acquisition and selling: Partner with Account Directors on pre-sales motions for new customer acquisition, product expansion, and expansion across lines of business. You identify customer pain, craft and deliver tailored demos, and lead technical evaluations through requirements gathering, success criteria, installation guidance, and hands-on workshops. Complex implementations and value realization: Lead onboarding for strategic customers, including planning, implementation, integrations, and training. You build customer-specific implementation playbooks, guide complex deployments with executive visibility, and ensure customers realize value during onboarding and over time. Adoption, expansion, and growth: Identify opportunities to expand adoption across underutilized features, untapped products, and new lines of business. When adoption stalls, you diagnose root causes, design a path forward, and connect technical work to measurable business outcomes. Technical escalation: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges raised by other Customer Engineers. You resolve ambiguous problems with multiple variables and tradeoffs, involving Product or Engineering only when truly needed. Team capability building: Build playbooks, document repeatable fixes, coach peers, and improve how Customer Engineering work gets done across the team. You use AI tools to accelerate content creation, surface patterns across accounts, and share practical workflow findings with the broader team. Early account impact: Assess account health, risks, stakeholder relationships, and the highest-priority problems to solve within your portfolio. You establish trust with Account Directors and customer stakeholders, then independently lead complex customer interactions that move accounts forward. Quarterly business outcomes: Drive measurable improvement in customer health, retention, expansion, and technical resolution across strategic accounts. You contribute reusable frameworks, playbooks, or processes that other Customer Engineers use and become a trusted advisor to Account Directors on account health and technical strategy. Who You Are Beyond the qualifications, we hire through a specific lens. These aren't buzzwords; they're the things we'll actually look for in how you talk about your work. You're a builder, not a maintainer. You're most energized when there isn't a clear path yet, and you get to define it. You don't wait for direction; you identify gaps, shape solutions, and drive them forward. At Pendo, great Senior Customer Engineers don't just follow instructions; they operate as strategic advisors, influencing decisions, guiding stakeholders, and elevating how we work. You're AI-curious - genuinely. You're not using AI tools occasionally. You're rewiring how you work around them. You're faster, sharper, and more prolific because of it, and you bring that energy to everything — how you approach your work, how you prep, how you communicate, how you think. We want someone who sees AI as a multiplier, not a shortcut. Must-haves 5 to 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Customer Engineering, implementation, professional services, or solutions architecture. Deep hands-on experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs, with the ability to architect and troubleshoot complex front-end implementations. Proven experience managing strategic Enterprise accounts with executive-level stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex technical or business requirements. Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems involving multiple variables, constraints, and tradeoffs. Experience connecting technical execution to business outcomes such as retention, expansion, ROI, and value realization. Hands-on use of AI tools for account research, content creation, or workflow automation, with demonstrated integration into day-to-day work rather than light experimentation. Experience mentoring or coaching more junior technical team members. Nice-to-haves Experience with Pendo, digital adoption platforms, product analytics, or in-app experience tooling in an enterprise environment. Hands-on experience with mobile app development, including Swift, Android, or React Native. Familiarity with data architecture, AI or machine learning concepts, or advanced analytics instrumentation. Track record of building reusable frameworks, playbooks, or processes that were adopted by a broader team. About Pendo Pendo was founded in 2013 by former product managers, who combined their heads and hearts to build something they wanted but never had as product managers: a simple way to understand and attack what truly drives product success. Our mission is to improve society's experience with software. Come join one of the fastest-growing startups, supported by best-in-class institutions like Battery Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Spark Capital and Meritech. Pendo Core Values: Bias to Act, Hone Your Craft, The Team is Pendo, and Maniacal Focus. Location: Remote Compensation: The expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $193,393 - $241,742, with a 70/30 base-to-variable compensation split. Benefits: Pendo offers highly competitive United States benefits, including employer-heavy coverage with $0 premium options, strong 401(k) match, equity, and flexible time off. EEOC: We are an equal opportunity employer and believe having diverse teams where everyone brings their whole self to Pendo is key to our success. Our culture of flexibility, trust, and continual learning means you will be recognized for your growth, and for the impact you make on our success. You will be surrounded by people who challenge, support, and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. The Role BeyondTrust is a global leader in privileged access management. Our products provide remote access and privileged control capabilities that are deployed across thousands of enterprise environments worldwide. That makes us a high-value target. Nation-state actors, ransomware operators, and sophisticated threat groups actively target companies like ours—not just to compromise our corporate environment, but to reach the customers who trust our software to protect their most sensitive systems. A compromise of BeyondTrust is a compromise of the privileged access layer inside our customers' networks. We take that responsibility seriously. As a Cyber Defense Engineer on our Cyber Defense Operations team, you will serve as a front-line defender responsible for protecting both BeyondTrust's enterprise infrastructure and the integrity of the products our customers depend on. You will monitor, investigate, and respond to security events in an environment where the stakes are real and the adversaries are capable. CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. What You'll Do: The Physical AI Engineering Team at CoreWeave is responsible for building and scaling the core platform that powers the world's most advanced engineering simulation and AI workflows. From evolving distributed architecture to enabling the next generation of agentic applications and physical AI, this team delivers the performant, reliable, and scalable foundation trusted by the world's largest engineering companies. About the role: We're seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build the agentic layer of our Physical AI platform. You'll design, build and ship the agents behind our engineering copilot: systems that take a real engineering problem from an automotive, industrial or robotics team, explore the data, build and evaluate models, and return results an engineer can trust and act on. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a research role. You'll work alongside our researchers and software engineers: Research explores new approaches, and you turn the ones that work into reliable production systems. You'll own agents end to end – from tool and context design, through evaluation, to deployment and operation in production. In this role, you will: Agentic Systems Design and build agents that run the auto-research loop on customer engineering problems: data exploration, feature and model iteration, evaluation and reporting. Define tool interfaces and MCP servers that expose platform capabilities (data connectors, Physical AI libraries, experiment tracking and model registry, compute) to agents in a safe and predictable way. Own context and memory design for long-running agent tasks, including retrieval over engineering data, documentation and past experiments. Select and integrate models, balancing quality, latency and cost. Evaluation & Reliability Build evaluation harnesses and benchmarks that measure agent performance on real engineering use cases, so quality is measurable and regressions are visible. Instrument agents with tracing and observability and use that data to improve them. Design guardrails, sandboxed code execution, permission models and human-in-the-loop checkpoints so agents act safely on customer data and compute. Take agents from prototype to production: testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring and on-call ownership. ML & Domain Work Contribute to ML work alongside the ML Engineers – model training, evaluation and Physical AI library development – especially where agents use or generate these components. Translate the vocabulary and workflows of physical engineering domains into agent behaviour, working with Forward Deployed Engineers and customers. Cover ML engineering work when needed, and help ML Engineers adopt agentic tooling in their own workflows. Collaboration Work with Research to turn promising agentic approaches into production systems. Partner with platform engineers on the agent runtime, workflow orchestration and auth as the platform moves to a distributed, agentic-ready architecture. Work with Frontend and Product to expose agent capabilities in the product in a way non-ML engineers trust. Mentor engineers, and interview and onboard new team members. Who You Are: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years building production systems on top of LLMs. Your background is in shipping and operating software, not academic research. You have shipped at least one agentic system to production with real users: tool-using agents, multi-step workflows or code-generating agents. Strong production Python. Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agent frameworks, and a clear view of where frameworks help and where they get in the way. Experience designing tools and APIs for agents, including MCP or equivalent tool-calling protocols. Experience building evaluation for LLM or agent systems: datasets, graders, LLM-as-judge, regression tracking. Solid ML fundamentals. You can train and evaluate a model with scikit-learn or PyTorch, and you understand validation, overfitting and uncertainty well enough to judge an agent's output. Experience with retrieval and context engineering for agents. Strong software engineering practices: code review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, Docker and Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud (AWS preferred). Security-minded: sandboxing, authentication/authorisation, prompt injection and data isolation in multi-tenant systems. Clear technical communication with both engineers and non-ML stakeholders. Preferred: Experience with auto-research, data science agents or agents that write and run experiments (e.g. in notebooks). Evaluation-first: You don't trust an agent you can't measure. Production Pragmatism: You pick the simplest design that works, ship it, and know when an agent is the wrong answer. Operational Rigor: You care about testing, deployments, and what happens after code ships – reliability, monitoring, and on-call health. Curious about the domain: You want to understand how physical engineers work, not only how models work. Ownership Mentality: You take full responsibility for outcomes and drive initiatives to completion. Customer Obsession: You understand that our success is measured by our customers' success. About the role You would be the first fullstack engineer we hire onto the UK team, joining software and autonomy engineers whose tools are already relied on across live programmes. As that portfolio grows, we are bringing in dedicated fullstack expertise to shape how the user-facing products we ship are designed and built. Every day is different: designing an interface around how a customer actually operates, building the services and APIs behind it, working with our design team so what we ship in London is coherent with everything else Applied Intuition builds, or taking what we learn on a programme and landing it in the products of the teams we work alongside. You will move between languages and layers as the problem demands, and you will have a strong voice in how these products get built. You bring the judgement of a career spent shipping production software, and you watch the people you built it for take it into the field. At Applied Intuition, you will: Take new products from concept through to production at the pace our programmes demand, owning the technical and product decisions along the way Build features end to end, from the interface through the API to the services and data behind it Set the front-end foundations for our UK products: shared components, sensible patterns, and a design language consistent with the rest of the company Decide, with the team, when a new capability should stand alone and when it belongs in our core product offering Get the improvements we identify on programmes into the products our other teams build, so what we learn in the field shapes the wider roadmap Engineer security in from the first commit, and build software that holds up to the environments and the scrutiny our customers operate under Help raise the bar for how user-facing software is built here, and build products people depend on and that you are proud of We're looking for someone who has: Bachelor's degree in computer science/related engineering field 5+ years of hands-on fullstack experience shipping and supporting production web applications Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, or another modern front-end framework, and strong, well-founded opinions about building interfaces for data-heavy workflows Adaptability across languages and comfort owning the whole stack; our products span TypeScript, Go and Python, and we care more about your judgement than your syntax Experience working closely with designers and product managers, and a track record of getting your requirements into products you don't own Command of application security, and experience developing in Docker and containerised environments on Linux Travel Requirements: General willingness to travel for company business between our offices, as well as to customer sites Security Requirements: Must have ability to hold UK Security Clearance (current or previous preferred) Nice to have: 7+ years of experience building fullstack applications, including time as the senior voice on front-end architecture Hands-on experience with 3D or geospatial visualisation in the browser, such as CesiumJS, Three.js or WebGL Experience building or extending a design system used across more than one team Experience deploying and operating what you build, on Kubernetes or similar Experience with autonomy, robotics, simulation or other systems that generate data at a scale browsers were never designed for Experience working on projects related to national security for one or more government agencies References who will describe them as low-ego, historically motivated, thoughtfully opinionated, strong communicators and curious listeners Don't meet every single requirement? About the role As a senior cloud infrastructure engineer on the UK team, your job is to make everyone around you faster. You will be embedded with the engineers you support, not sat in a separate platform silo, and you will feel the same pain they do - which is exactly why you will be the one to fix it. Some days you will be designing UK-hosted infrastructure from a blank page, choosing the tools and the patterns and getting it right from the get-go rather than inheriting somebody else's shortcuts. Other days you will be standing up a secure environment for a customer, debugging a deployment that only misbehaves inside their network, or getting UK-approved AI models serving inside a secure programme.
