Customers, including Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce, rely on Grafana Labs. We are a 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries, backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. Learn more at grafana.com and follow us on LinkedIn and X . We're scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do. You may not meet every requirement, and that's okay. If this role excites you, we'd love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity. Senior Engineering Manager, Grafana Frontend The Opportunity: Grafana is an open-source observability product and a platform that teams and plugin developers build on. The Frontend group shapes its user experience (from dashboards and visualisation to navigation, search and sharing) and the foundations that support engineering teams and community contributors across the Grafana ecosystem. As Senior Engineering Manager, you'll lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, owning their performance, delivery and customer outcomes. Frontend Platform enables teams to build reliable, high-quality experiences; Navigation helps users find and organise resources and move confidently through Grafana. You'll develop senior engineers, partner with Product and Design, and improve how teams work, including through AI and automation. We use Cloud-first rollout and experimentation to learn quickly, bringing relevant improvements to OSS and Enterprise. AI Notice: We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. What You'll Be Doing: Be accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads: set clear expectations, delegate effectively, coach and develop each team member, give timely feedback, address performance gaps and build a culture of trust and accountability. Own hiring and team planning across both squads, aligning team capacity and skills with product priorities and longer-term needs. Lead discovery with your squads: engage directly with customers, community members and internal users, combine their feedback with research and usage evidence, and use those insights to shape roadmaps and priorities. Partner with Product, Design and engineering leaders to set priorities, resolve dependencies and make trade-offs between customer needs, long-term investments and operational demands. Own delivery across both squads from discovery through rollout and measurement: set milestones, surface risks early and intervene when commitments are at risk. Use AI regularly in your management work to synthesise research and feedback, inform roadmap and resourcing decisions, and streamline coordination, reporting and follow-through. Improve how the squads plan, make decisions and deliver. Lead the adoption of AI and automation across engineering and operational workflows, evaluating their impact on delivery speed, quality and time spent on repetitive work. Set engineering direction with senior engineers for the frontend foundations owned by your squads, including developer experience, accessibility, architecture, tooling, reliability and multitenant capabilities. Set engineering direction for navigation, search and resource organisation, including where AI-assisted discovery can help users find what they need. Set and uphold engineering standards for quality, security and operability, including how teams evaluate and validate AI-assisted work. Lead improvements across Grafana and R&D that increase engineering productivity and improve business outcomes. Participate in the engineering management on-call rota, coordinate responses and drive improvements that reduce recurring disruption. Regularly use Grafana's AI capabilities for observability, incident investigation and management, bringing that experience into product feedback and roadmap decisions. What Makes You a Great Fit Significant experience managing senior engineers, building healthy teams and developing technical leaders. You give clear feedback and address performance gaps directly and fairly. A strong technical foundation in modern web or frontend systems, enabling you to evaluate technical trade-offs and shape architectural and engineering-quality decisions with senior engineers. A track record of turning ambiguous, cross-team problems into clear priorities and measurable results, managing delivery risks and operational demands. Strong product and customer judgement, with the ability to connect engineering investments to user, developer and business outcomes. Clear, concise written communication and the ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed organisation. An appreciation for open-source development and the judgement to balance Cloud-first delivery with the needs of customers, community members and internal teams. Practical experience using AI and automation in your own leadership work, and leading teams to adopt them effectively. Bonus Points For Experience with React, TypeScript or comparable large-scale frontend ecosystems. Experience leading a developer platform team, including support for plugins or extensions. Experience with navigation, search, information architecture or resource-management products. Experience delivering multitenant SaaS or major platform migrations. Experience working on a widely adopted open-source product. Compensation & Rewards: In the United Kingdom, the Base compensation range for this role is GBP 117,949 - GBP 141,539 . Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally. Compensation ranges are country specific. We invite you to join us on this journey! We actively encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds to enrich our team and drive innovation. The Role The goal of this role is pipeline revenue, driven through relationships. The Partner BDM is where the global partnership strategy meets the market, and you own the partner pipeline and revenue target for your region — you are the person who drives the strategy to meet and exceed that number. Every relationship, every lead, every partner conversation in your territory goes through you. You execute all three partnership pillars locally — integration depth, reseller acquisition, and long tail activation — and you feed the national programs run by Isabel and the Director of Reseller Partnerships with the contacts, intelligence, and HubSpot discipline that makes those programs possible. This role also carries a global partner management component. In addition to your regional territory, you will be assigned one or two global partner accounts — relationships that span multiple BDM regions and require a consistent strategic, commercial presence above the regional level. You will manage these accounts directly, briefing with the Global Partner Marketing Manager before any senior contact touchpoint and feeding back the account intelligence that informs RPG's global partner strategy. The BDM is not a lone hunter. You are supported by intelligence briefs from the Director of Partnership Strategy, onboarding infrastructure from the Partner Operation and Enablement Manager, co-sell support from the Director of Channel Growth Reseller, and global account context from the Global Partner Marketing Manager. The discipline of using those inputs — requesting briefs before first calls, completing HubSpot fields that trigger Isabel's onboarding, registering every lead in Introw on the day — is what makes the whole system work. Your Role Pipeline and revenue ownership — your region Own the partner pipeline and revenue target for your region — you are the person who drives the strategy to meet and exceed this number, not just a contributor to it Build and maintain a consistent bottoms-up pipeline plan, built up against your region's targets and TAM — showing exactly how your book of business adds up to your target, by partner type and by deal stage Forecast monthly, ahead of the full-team KPR review — reforecasting pipeline and revenue coverage against target, reconciling to the latest refreshed regional targets/TAM where these have moved, so gaps are visible early and plans can be adjusted before target dates, not after Regional partner development — all partner types Build and manage the full partner portfolio in your territory: integration partners, resellers, consultants, hotel management companies, and referral partners Source new reseller and consultant contacts in your region — using the Ideal Reseller Partner Profile as the qualification standard Execute the partner conversation playbook for each contact type: open with the partner intelligence brief, use the CS manager and KAM conversation guides for integration partners, apply the reseller screening framework for agency contacts Request a partner intelligence brief from the Director Channel Growth - Integration before every first partner outreach — no first conversation without a brief Complete the 4 mandatory HubSpot fields (deal stage, partner fields, agreement file, partnership type) before advancing any deal past the signed stage — this triggers Isabel's onboarding program Register every qualified lead in Introw on the day it is received, tagged by source type (integration referral / reseller / consultant / reactivated dormant) Global Partner Account Management Own one or two assigned global partner accounts — relationships where the partner operates across multiple BDM territories and requires consistent commercial management above the regional level Build the regional strategy for each assigned global account that generates pipeline — not just relationship maintenance; you are responsible for identifying where the pipeline comes from in your territory and driving it Coordinate with Global Partner Marketing Manager before any senior touchpoint at a global partner account — global commercial context will be provided; you provide the regional relationship intelligence Maintain the account relationship at the appropriate contact levels (sales, CS, KAM, implementation) — applying the multi-level engagement model from the Partner Activation Playbook Feed the Head of Global Partnerships and the Global Partner Marketing Manager with global account intelligence after every significant touchpoint — health signals, competitive intelligence, co-marketing opportunities, and any escalation requirements Support the coordination of co-marketing and QBR activity with the global partner where it involves your region Long Tail Activation — Regional subset Own your regional subset of the 272 dormant signed partners — the Director Channel Growth - Reseller & Consultant, provides the segmented list, you own the outreach Execute the tiered re-engagement approach: Tier 1 (60–90 days dormant) with a personalized message within the first week of assignment; Tier 2 with re-qualification before any effort; Tier 3 with a single attempt then escalation to Isabel to archive Report progress on your regional dormant subset to Isabel weekly during the H2 activation sprint Market intelligence and HubSpot discipline Surface partner contacts and market intelligence to the Reseller PM in the bi-weekly regional intel exchange — which reseller types are gaining traction, which are declining, what competitive signals are emerging Flag any integration partner conversation where an all-in-one competitive angle appears — the Strategy Manager updates the competitive library with field intelligence Maintain HubSpot contact and deal records at the expected quality standard — the data in HubSpot is what the whole team uses to run the business; poor data quality breaks Isabel's onboarding, Isabel's dormancy tracking, and Introw attribution simultaneously Participate in the monthly full-team KPR review — presenting your regional lead pipeline and flagging any structural blockers Your Profile 2+ years in a B2B business development, partnerships, or commercial account management role — ideally in SaaS, hospitality technology, or a related field Demonstrates advanced proficiency in German (C2 level), with excellent command of both Track record of building relationships and generating pipeline from scratch in a defined territory — not managing inbound, but generating outbound Comfortable operating across multiple partner types and conversation styles in a single week — integration partnership conversations require a different approach than reseller qualification HubSpot or CRM discipline — this is a non-negotiable requirement; the quality of your data determines the quality of the team's output Based in the target territory — regional credibility and proximity to local partners is part of the role Nice to Have Existing network in the hotel technology ecosystem (PMS, channel manager, consultants, or revenue management) in the relevant territory Experience managing global or multi-territory accounts in addition to a local territory portfolio Familiarity with Introw, PartnerStack, Reditus, or similar partner and commission tracking platforms Revenue management or hospitality operations background — understanding how an independent hotel owner thinks is a genuine advantage in partner conversations What We Offer at RoomPriceGenie 💪 At RoomPriceGenie, we don't just offer jobs; we offer an adventure! 🚀 Join us in an exciting startup atmosphere where you can grow your career while changing the world for tens of thousands of independent hoteliers. 🌍 Our global and diverse team is fueled by passion and a shared mission. Our project for you: moebel.de is Europe's leading price comparison site for furniture and home furnishings. Our family of portals operates in nine European countries, including Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland. Now we are getting started in earnest in the UK: living24.uk is live – our price comparison site for furniture, home furnishings, garden and décor, as well as white goods and home electronics. The launch is done, the technology works. What decides the pace now are the retailers: the more relevant shops list their ranges on living24.uk, the stronger the comparison for users – and the faster the portal grows. This is not selling from a tidy list of existing accounts. You take on a freshly launched market and build the partner portfolio that living24.uk runs on. Whoever delivers over the next few months will shape what moebel.de looks like in the UK. That is why we are looking for you as Senior Sales Manager UK. Your future Tasks Building the market: you build living24.uk's partner portfolio – from first contact through pitch and negotiation to the signed contract. Your targets are UK online retailers in furniture, home furnishings, garden, décor, white goods, home electronics and small appliances. Selling a performance model: you show retailers how living24.uk pays off as an additional channel – through cost per click, visibility, feed quality and cost-of-sale. Seeing partners through to go-live: product feed, tracking, range checks – together with the team in Hamburg. After go-live our Relationship Management team takes over day-to-day care, so you can focus on winning new partners. Presence in the market: retailer visits, trade fairs and industry events across the UK. In a young market, trust is built face to face. Ear to the ground: competition, price levels, what UK retailers expect, seasonality – what you learn in the field feeds into product, pricing and priorities. Your Strenghts Several years of sales experience in UK e-commerce, ideally with a price comparison site, marketplace, affiliate network or performance marketing provider A solid network of UK retailers in our categories that you can put to work from day one Command of the performance model: CPC, CPO, affiliate, product feeds, ROAS and cost-of-sale are selling points for you, not buzzwords A hunter's mindset: you keep your own pipeline full, cold outreach included, and get deals over the line An appetite for building: pace and open questions appeal to you more than a field that has already been ploughed Working from the numbers, with clean CRM records as the basis for how you steer Willingness to travel across the UK and to regular meetings in Hamburg Fluent English at negotiation level – German is a plus, not a requirement Our Benefits Your day is yours to shape Work when you are most productive. Early bird or night owl: you set your hours flexibly, in agreement with your team. Working from another European country for a while? No problem. Your laptop is your workplace. Our culture is one of a kind Here everyone sits on the same couch, regardless of title or role. We live team spirit online and in person – gaming nights, workouts, film evenings and team events. Four times a year we meet for Company Week Working together in the office, pushing projects forward, pizza evenings and a party to finish. In the heart of Hamburg When you are in Hamburg, our office is waiting for you – centrally located between the main station, Mönckebergstraße and the Binnenalster lake. Perfect for lunch dates, a break by the Alster or a stroll after work. We are looking forward to receiving your application! Please send your application exclusively through our online application form – it goes straight to our recruiting team. You are welcome to submit your CV in English or German, ideally with your salary expectations and earliest possible start date. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
