LILT AIGreater Indianapolis, United States35 days ago

About LILT AI is changing how the world communicates — and LILT is leading that transformation. We're on a mission to make the world's information accessible to everyone , regardless of the language they speak. We use cutting-edge AI, machine translation, and human-in-the-loop expertise to translate content faster, more accurately, and more cost-effectively without compromising on brand, voice, or quality. At LILT, we empower our teammates with leading tools, global collaboration, and growth opportunities to do their best work. Our company virtues— Work together, win together; Find a way or make one; Dance in the customer's shoes; Quicker than they expect; Quality is Job 1 —guide everything we do. We are trusted by Intel Corporation, Canva, the United States Department of Defense, the United States Air Force, ASICS, and hundreds of global Enterprises. Backed by Sequoia, Intel Capital, and Redpoint, we're building a category-defining company in a $50B+ global translation market being redefined by AI. Lilt's Converse product delivers real-time, multi-party translation for high-stakes conversations — from offline, device-based deployments in the field to live meetings on enterprise collaboration platforms. We're expanding Converse to support any number of participants, speaking any combination of languages, joining from a growing set of form factors — with live translation delivered N-way, directly on the meeting stage, and cleared interpreters reviewing only the segments that need a human eye. You will build and operate the backend services that make this work: per-participant audio ingestion, real-time diarization and translation orchestration, and the routing logic that gets a flagged segment in front of the right interpreter and broadcasts their correction back out in real time. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build a brand-new product surface, on a team whose existing products serve some of the world's largest global brands. As a Backend Engineer on the Create team, you'll work closely with senior engineers and Product to build the services powering this Converse expansion — the real-time translation pipeline and the meeting-platform integration — taking well-scoped services and features from design through production with support and code review from more senior teammates. You'll help define clean API contracts with the frontend/interpreter-workbench engineers, contribute to the event-driven correction and broadcast system, and grow into owning larger pieces of the backend architecture as the product and team scale. Location & eligibility: This position requires US citizenship and residence in the United States. Preferred locations are Washington, D.C.; Boston, MA; and Indianapolis, IN. What You'll Do Build and maintain backend services for the real-time translation pipeline: audio ingestion, diarization hookups, streaming ASR/MT orchestration, and result fan-out to every configured meeting language Implement the event-driven routing logic that flags low-confidence segments and routes them to the correct on-call interpreter by language Build APIs and services backing the bot/agent participant and meeting side panel that deliver translation into the host meeting platform, with guidance from senior engineers Contribute to the interpreter correction and broadcast system — ensuring corrections are isolated to the correct language and broadcast to all participants in real time Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, e2e) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for new backend services Instrument services for observability — logging, metrics, tracing — to support debugging of latency-sensitive, multi-party sessions Partner with frontend/fullstack engineers on the Create team to define clean API contracts between backend services and the live meeting UI and interpreter workbench Participate in on-call rotation and help triage production issues as the product moves toward GA Help generate post-meeting assets: diarized transcripts, exportable formats (TXT/WebVTT/JSON), and per-line verification metadata What We're Looking For Required 2–5 years of professional backend software engineering experience, ideally including production systems that handle real-time or streaming data Experience building REST API endpoints as well as streaming services with WebSockets, gRPC, message queues, or comparable low-latency/event-driven patterns Solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript, Java, Python, or a comparable backend language/ecosystem, and the ability to work across more than one when needed Experience building and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs, including authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys/tokens, service accounts) Comfort with relational/NoSQL data modeling for session state, transcripts, and configuration data Solid grasp of testing and delivery practices: CI/CD and automated integration/e2e tests Ability to take a well-scoped ticket or spec and ship it with minimal oversight, while communicating blockers and timeline risk early US citizenship and residence in the United States Strong Plus Experience with speech/audio pipelines: diarization, streaming ASR, or audio stream handling Experience integrating with third-party platform APIs, SDKs, or webhooks (Slack, Zoom, or similar collaboration platforms) Familiarity with localization/TMS workflows: XLIFF, Translation Memory, MT vs. human translation pipelines Experience with event-driven/pub-sub architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar) Enough frontend/React exposure to reason about API contracts with a real-time, stateful UI Bonus Hands-on Microsoft Teams app or bot development specifically (Teams Toolkit, Bot Framework, Azure Communication Services, Microsoft Graph) Experience working on 0-to-1 products within a larger, established company Interest or coursework in NLP/ML systems Experience with observability tooling (e.g., Datadog) in production, latency-sensitive systems Our Story Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. While together at Google, they were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn't used for enterprise products and services inside the company. The quality just wasn't there. So they set out to build something better. LILT was born. LILT has been a machine learning company since its founding in 2015. Could you be our next Product Designer? We're looking for an experienced, customer-centric and data-driven individual to join our Product team as a Product Designer As an advocate for Product Design excellence within Immersive, you will be a driver of the evolution of our flagship Immersive One platform, ensuring we continue to delight our users and expand our market leadership. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, you'll own product problems from early discovery and definition through to validation, detailed design, delivery and iteration. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering, using research, data and strong product judgement to shape experiences that work for customers and the wider platform. This is a role for someone who thinks beyond individual screens — considering end-to-end journeys, information architecture, workflows, reusable patterns and how decisions scale across a complex B2B product. You will be key in shaping the future of our products, designing flexible, intelligent frameworks rooted in object-oriented thinking and guided by customer and user feedback and research. Your product output will drive measurable business outcomes that shape the evolution of our design system to define how cyber resilience comes to life across the Immersive One platform. Our most successful product designers here bring a potent mix of strategic vision, user empathy, and analytical rigor to their work, while constantly expanding their knowledge through cross-team collaboration. Partner with Product and Engineering to explore solutions, challenge assumptions and make evidence-led product decisions. Transform complex, technical cybersecurity data into clear, intuitive user interfaces by utilizing human-centered design methods such as success scenarios, information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes. Formulate clear hypotheses to solve customer and business needs, and confidently validate your design decisions using both quantitative and qualitative research results. Use customer research, behavioral data and product metrics to inform and validate your work. Design across journeys, information architecture, workflows and reusable patterns rather than isolated features Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools where they help accelerate exploration, testing and delivery. Ship feature updates at the end of the quarter that directly influence team KPIs, always considering how your design decisions impact areas outside your immediate focus. Create wireframes, prototypes and detailed UI using Figma, contributing to and evolving our shared design system. Contributing to knowledge sharing and the continued growth of our Product Design practice. Sounds good? We'd love to hear from you if you have proven experience in the following areas, but don't worry if you don't hit each one exactly: Solid experience in product or UX design, particularly within SaaS enterprise, data-rich products, and platform environments. Experience working in a Cybersecurity company would also be very advantageous but not essential. Experience owning work from problem definition through to shipped outcomes. A deep understanding of human-computer interaction, allowing you to mature your design approach from basic "problem solving" to strategic "outcome delivery." Confidence using research and data to make and explain design decisions. Proficiency in Figma, paired with excellent storytelling skills to concisely frame your work—clearly stating the target audience, the desired outcomes, your design reasoning, and any technical or business constraints. Curiousity about new ways of working, including AI-enabled design and prototyping. A proven ability to collaborate closely with product managers and engineering partners, as well as external customers.. Strong interest in Object-Oriented UX (OOUX), alongside experience grounding your design choices in foundational human motivations. A strong growth mindset demonstrated by setting personal goals, consistently giving and receiving constructive feedback, and outlining your own growth potential. Product Manager – Android Integration & Ecosystem
Full TimeOn-siteMid
architecturesalespartnerships

Your mission As our Product Manager – Android Integration & Ecosystem , you will define the product what and why for how ProGlove devices connect, integrate and create value within the enterprise Android ecosystem. ProGlove is evolving from a wearable scanner company into a Worker Companion company, bringing together ergonomic wearable hardware, software, connectivity, workflow guidance, data and intelligence. With the MAI Wearable Companion, we are entering a broader ecosystem of enterprise applications, technologies, standards, partners and customer infrastructure. Your mission will be to make our products easy to adopt, integrate and deploy at scale – without turning every customer opportunity into a bespoke engineering project. You will identify recurring customer needs, translate them into scalable capabilities and propositions, and decide where ProGlove should own, enable or partner. In doing so, you will help turn integration from a technical necessity into a source of differentiation, customer value and commercial opportunity. You will work closely with the Product Manager responsible for the Wearable Companion device. While they own the device proposition, you will own how the device connects to and creates value in the wider ecosystem. Together, you will shape a coherent end-to-end proposition for customers, developers, integrators and partners. Your day-to-day Define and evolve the product strategy and priorities for ProGlove's enterprise Android integration and ecosystem capabilities, aligned with customer needs and business goals. Work directly with customers, Sales and Solution Architecture to identify recurring problems, distinguish individual requests from broader market needs and turn the right opportunities into scalable solutions. Translate recurring integration needs into repeatable product capabilities such as APIs, SDKs, tools, interfaces, documentation, integration patterns and deployment solutions. Shape the product experience around device setup, provisioning, application distribution, device management and other capabilities required to deploy and operate connected device fleets at scale. Make clear, pragmatic decisions about where ProGlove should own, enable or partner , balancing customer value, strategic control, speed, scalability and technical complexity. Identify the platforms, applications, standards and ecosystem players that matter to our customers, and shape the integrations, certifications and technology partnerships that strengthen our proposition. Explore where integration capabilities, software, services and ecosystem propositions can create differentiated value and support commercial or recurring-revenue opportunities. Partner closely with Engineering and the Product Manager for the Wearable Companion to create alignment on customer problems, priorities, trade-offs and desired outcomes. Enable Sales and other customer-facing teams to clearly explain our Android proposition, supported capabilities, integrations and common deployment patterns. Maintain a forward-looking view of enterprise Android, AOSP, enterprise mobility, AI and adjacent technologies, and translate relevant developments into strategic options and product priorities. Your profile At ProGlove, technical expertise matters, but how you work is just as important. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, stays curious, collaborates openly and turns complexity into clear, pragmatic decisions. You bring strong Product Management experience in B2B or enterprise technology and can define strategy, discover meaningful customer problems, prioritize opportunities and turn them into scalable products or propositions. You are commercially minded and naturally connect product decisions with customer value, differentiation, business impact and opportunities to capture value. You are comfortable working with enterprise software, platforms, connected devices, integrations or technology ecosystems, and understand the realities of complex customer IT environments. You have enough technical depth to understand architecture, interfaces and trade-offs, contribute credibly to platform and integration discussions, and recognize when deeper engineering expertise is needed. You think in systems and patterns: when faced with a customer requirement, you look beyond the immediate request to understand why it exists, how broadly it applies and what a simple, repeatable solution could look like. You take end-to-end ownership, move topics forward without waiting for perfect instructions and remain effective when the product space or path ahead is not yet fully defined. You collaborate generously and build trust across Product, Engineering, Sales, Solution Architecture, customers and external partners. You can create alignment and drive decisions without relying on formal authority. You communicate clearly and transparently, raise risks early and can make complex technical and commercial topics understandable to different audiences. You are curious about customers, the business and emerging technologies, and continuously test assumptions rather than pursuing technology for its own sake. You use pragmatic judgment to balance speed, simplicity, quality and long-term value. You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment. Experience in one or more of the following areas would be valuable, but is not required: Enterprise Android, AOSP or adjacent Android ecosystems, including environments operating outside standard Google Mobile Services. Enterprise mobility management, MDM/EMM, device provisioning, application deployment or connected fleet management. Rugged or industrial devices, IoT or edge devices, connected hardware or other B2B technology ecosystems. APIs, SDKs, developer or integrator experiences and enterprise integrations. Platform or ecosystem strategy, technology partnerships, certification programs or developer and partner ecosystems. Enterprise customers deploying technology at scale. Direct Android Product Management experience is an advantage, but not essential if you bring strong Product Management expertise and relevant experience from an adjacent enterprise technology ecosystem. Why us? This is an opportunity to shape an important part of a category that is still being defined. Android gives ProGlove access to a much broader technology ecosystem, but the opportunity goes far beyond compatibility. You will help determine what role ProGlove should play in that ecosystem, which capabilities we should own, where we should partner, what customers and developers should be able to build around us, and where integration itself can become a source of differentiation and recurring business value. ProGlove already has the customer base, market credibility, technology and industrial expertise to build on. Our products are used in some of the world's most demanding operational environments. What we are now building is the next layer. Over time, success will mean more than making our own products easier to integrate. It will mean creating capabilities, interfaces and ecosystem relationships that customers, application providers and partners actively choose to build around - moving ProGlove from ecosystem participant toward ecosystem shaper. If you are excited by the idea of turning complex technology ecosystems into simple, valuable products - and helping shape how the next generation of frontline technology connects with the digital world - we would love to meet you. Join us in building the future of frontline work. What success looks like ProGlove has a clear, customer-backed strategy and prioritized roadmap for Android integration and ecosystem capabilities. Recurring customer and integration needs are turned into scalable, repeatable solutions rather than one-off engineering projects. Customers can adopt, integrate, deploy and manage ProGlove devices more easily within their existing enterprise environments. Decisions about what ProGlove should own, enable or partner are made transparently and based on customer value, business impact and long-term scalability. Product, Engineering, Sales and Solution Architecture are aligned on priorities, supported capabilities and key trade-offs. Customer-facing teams can confidently communicate our Android proposition and common deployment patterns without relying on Product or Engineering in every opportunity. Relevant integrations, partnerships and commercial opportunities are identified, validated and translated into tangible product or business outcomes. Meet your team You will join our Product team and report directly to the CPO. You will work especially closely with the Product Manager responsible for the Wearable Companion, as well as colleagues across Engineering, Sales, Solution Architecture and Product Marketing. This is a highly cross-functional role. You will bring together customer needs, technical realities and commercial opportunities, while also building relationships with external technology partners, platform providers and integrators. The team values open collaboration, clear communication and shared ownership of outcomes. Find Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

Senior Product Manager - Carpool Experience
Full TimeOn-siteSenior
goclaimsuser researchcrmtalent acquisitionresearch

About BlaBlaCar BlaBlaCar is the world's leading community-based travel app enabling 27 million members a year to carpool or travel by bus in 21 countries. Our team of 800 employees counts over 50 nationalities and is spread across our 5 global offices, 30% working fully remotely. The role Carpool Experience covers everything between two members once they have found each other: agreeing on the trip, talking, meeting up, and building trust. Vision: a carpool experience that feels easy and safe for passengers and drivers, from the first hello to the final goodbye. Mission: make it simple for members to talk, negotiate, meet up and trust each other. You own six product areas, used by millions of members every month: Negotiation. Before booking, passengers can ask the driver for a detour, a lower price or another special request, and add a tip. Drivers accept, decline or make a counter-offer. It launched in France in 2025 and went worldwide in 2026. It is still a new product: what it should become, and how far it can go, is yours to figure out. Messaging. The chat between drivers and passengers. Next up: Group Chat, and catching up with market standards. GPS Tracking: both the technical capability as well as features it enables (including sharing ETA on the map, ESC bonus in Spain among others) Post-Carpool ride XP (claims, ratings etc.). How members build trust in each other. This includes AI Ratings Summary, BlaBlaCar's first consumer-facing GenAI feature. Communication Service and contact preferences. The platform that sends every push notification, email, SMS and WhatsApp message across the company, plus the settings members use to choose what they receive. Marketing tools. Braze and deeplinks, used by the CRM and marketing teams. This is a key scope, and you own its strategy. That comes with high exposure: you present to the Executive Committee every two weeks. You get a direct say in company decisions, and you are expected to bring clear thinking and solid arguments to the table. Your Responsibilities Set the direction. Build the vision and strategy for your scope, turn it into ambitious OKRs, and get leadership behind them. Own the numbers. Know your business metrics, reliability targets and costs in detail. Review them every month and act on what they tell you, without being asked. Shape the future of Negotiation. Work out where its real value is for members and for BlaBlaCar, decide how it should evolve (new use cases such as negotiation after booking, conversion, usage), and prove the impact on passengers (PAX) and GMV. Ship the next member interactions: Group Chat, live location for both drivers and passengers, and the next version of the Communication Service. Run experiments and rollouts with discipline. Run A/B tests and country-by-country launches with decision rules set in advance, together with Legal, Privacy and country leads. Hold your own with the ExCo. Every two weeks, present progress, decisions and trade-offs to the Executive Committee. Take a clear position, defend it, and change it when the evidence calls for it. Raise the bar of the product team. Share your methods, coach other PMs, and challenge how we work. Your Qualifications You take full ownership of your product's outcomes. You go to the data with a question, spot what changed before anyone flags it, and act on it. You don't wait for direction: you come with a clear proposal, build it with your team and stakeholders, and follow through. You turn many signals into one clear strategy. You combine data, user research, market moves and tech constraints into one view of where the product should go, not a list of projects. You can explain it in two minutes, it holds from one conversation to the next, and you cut complexity to get more done with less. You understand the business, not just the product. You know how BlaBlaCar makes money and where your scope fits in. You can give your key metrics, their current level and what moves them without opening a dashboard. You talk about impact on PAX, GMV and costs as naturally as about features. You have strong opinions and an open mind. You take a clear position without waiting for leadership to take theirs, back it with evidence, and change your view openly when a better argument comes along. You communicate at a leadership level. You have already owned discussions with C-level or ExCo on strategy and trade-offs, and come out with decisions. You adapt your message to each audience and resolve conflicts constructively. Baseline: You have 5+ years of product management, ideally on consumer apps, including at least one scope you owned end to end over several quarters with measurable business impact. You use AI tools in your daily work. You are fluent in English. If you don't meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, tell us why you'd still be a great fit for this role in your application! What we have to offer 2 to 3 days at the office per week 4 additional weeks on top of legal maternity/paternity leaves 50% healthcare coverage (Alan) Financial support for home office equipment Minimum 25 days holiday per year Local meal plan policy (Swile card) 50% transportation paid (Forfait Mobilité Durable) Free unlimited carpooling & bus rides Interested in joining the ride? Here's what your hiring journey will look like.
